Equestria is at risk from a growing winter. Even after befriend the Yaks from Yak-Yakenstan, turning more into a parasitic friendship than a mutual one for the ponies, the winter still grows, becoming stronger with every day passing. The princesses fear something is causing this, and after losing a large amount of soldiers to stop whatever is causing this winter, Celestia fears they need only one person to stop this. Not wanting anypony to risk their lives and/or become corrupted, she doesn't summon a hero who'll most likely die trying, but instead, summons a professional.

In another world, inside the Northern Kingdom, it has the professional Celestia needs: A Witcher named "Geralt of Rivia". Summoned to Equestria, Geralt must find out what's causing the winter, help out the ponies in any way he can, make a profit for himself, and get used to having both the body of being a pony and his steed finally speaking. This isn't going to be easy.

I apologize in advance for not being a hardcore Witcher fan and not knowing everything in the games. Just played the third, that's it.
All options aren't limited (I.E. Amount of Gold and Sign Intensity). All choices are what you, the player, choose and face both rewards and consequences.
