After the founding of the New Canterlot Republic and the restoration of most of Equestria, a tribe of Ponies and Buffalo in a far southern region known as the Ghost Lands seek inclusion in this new world. Fall, an earth pony from a family of unicorns, is sent as an ambassador for the White Hooves tribe. His journey leads him to find places and creatures he could have never imagined and he soon finds that more is in store for him than just adventure, including a danger that threatens not just his tribe and the southern wastelands, but all of Equestria.
