Hellsing Ultimate: Equestria
Chapter 3: Give Me a Hug
Previous ChapterNext ChapterBraveheart was checking the local news on the laptop. Everything seemed normal. He heard the door open, and he turned to see Sunset walking into the door.
“Oh, thank Celestia you’re alive,” Braveheart breathed. He got up and gave Sunset a hug, and Sunset returned it. “What happened in Cloudsdale?”
“You won’t believe who I encountered there,” Sunset said. Before she could go on, the phone rang. Braveheart ran over and hit the speaker button.
“Hello?”
“Hello, Braveheart,” Seras said. “We made it back.”
“That’s good to hear. Could you put Alucard on the phone?”
“I can put Alushy on the phone,” Seras said.
“What?”
“I’ll let her explain for herself.” There was as pause in the conversation as Seras gave the phone to Alushy.
“Y’ello?” Alushy said.
“Alushy, what happened at Cloudsdale?”
“We killed all of the ghouls the vampire had created, but the vampire was already dead.”
“How?”
“We met up with a supposed follower of the Iscariot Organization.”
“The Iscariot Organization?”
“It was a religious group we dealt with back in London. They were our rivals in vampire hunting, but became a threat during the war. The 9th Crusade army was defeated, but the organization lived on, led by one of Alexander Anderson’s followers.”
“Who was the one at Cloudsdale?”
“A farm girl,” Alushy said. “Applejack of the Apple Family.” Braveheart’s eyes went wide.
“What?!”
“She killed two of our guards,” Sunset said. “Almost Fluttershy too. I got there just in time. But she almost killed me as well. But Alushy saved me.”
“Alushy, what happened with you?” Braveheart asked.
“Alucard turned Fluttershy into a vampire,” Alushy said. “With her OK, of course. Fluttershy drank Alucard’s blood after Applejack decapitated him. He didn’t die, but he insisted that Fluttershy drink. She did, and Alucard’s soul is now with her as Alushy.”
“Thank you for the information,” Braveheart said. He hung up and sat down, holding his head.
“You OK?” Sunset asked.
“I’m fine,” Braveheart nodded. “I’m just worried about the rest of the element bearers. What are they going to think if they see Alushy?”
“I don’t know,” Sunset said. “If something does happen, we’ll figure something out.”
“I hope so,” Braveheart sighed. “For Equestria’s sake.” The next 5 years were rather peaceful. No vampire attacks, no issues with the other bearers, not one problem. Sunset Shimmer had given birth to a daughter. The newborn was a Pegasus, had a dark tan coat, red and yellow hair, and dark green eyes. Braveheart and Sunset named her Blazing Fire and raised her with care. Alushy didn’t cause any problems for Blazing, and Seras helped when she could. Everything was perfect. But things took a rather ugly turn one day in June. Braveheart was sitting on his bed, tinkering with his mechanical arm. It had jammed up while putting Blazing to sleep. He oiled each jammed hydraulic and hinges and forced it forward to get it moving, then oiled them more to get the movements to smooth out. He had just finished when he heard the phone ring.
“I got it!” Sunset called from downstairs. Braveheart stood up and walked down to the living room, where Sunset was. She seemed to be getting angry.
“What are you talking about?” she asked. “What claims? ... What? By who? … No! That is my concern! … Damn it! You tell me right now! … “It’s Hellsing’s money! We have the right to know! … Well, not like we have anything else going on. … Fine. We’ll be expecting you at the estate tonight. … Very well.” Sunset waited until the dial tone sounded before slamming down the phone in a fury. She sat down on the couch and buried her head in her hands, letting out a heavy and angry sigh. Braveheart sat down next to her.
“What happened?” he asked. “You seem pretty pissed off.”
“It’s about Hellsing’s budget,” Sunset fumed.
“What about it?” Braveheart questioned.
“The administrators at the Crystal Empire and other cities cancelled it,” Sunset said.
“What?” Braveheart gasped. “Why?”
“Apparently, there’ve been some expensive claims over the last couple of years,” Sunset replied.
“I’m gonna call Alushy about this,” Braveheart said, dialing the basement phone and pressing the speaker button. The phone rang for a moment before Alushy picked up.
“Hello?” she asked.
“Alushy, it’s Braveheart.”
“’Sup.” Alushy said.
“I need to talk to you about some important guests coming tonight.”
“Are they hookers?” Alushy asked, a bit excited.
“No.” Braveheart deadpanned.
“And like that, you’ve lost me,” Alushy deadpanned back.
“They’re our financial suppliers,” Braveheart said.
“Oh, man,” Alushy said. “They have to hate us.”
“They do. That’s why they cancelled our budget.”
“Ooh, that’s bad. We need that right? Sunset, we need that right?”
“Yes, very important,” Sunset said, rolling her eyes.
“Thank you, Sunset,” Alushy said. Braveheart continued.
“Over the last couple of years, we’ve had some expensive claims.” He pulled up the Hellsing financial report.
“Like what?” Alushy asked.
“First off, property damage,” Braveheart listed.
“Good times,” Alushy remembered, grinning.
“Dozens of noise complaints,” Braveheart said. Loud rock music started blaring.
“SORRY, I CAN’T HEAR YOU!” Alushy cried over the noise. The music turned off.
“Killing at least a dozen innocent ponies.”
“Oh, shut it.”
“And all of the sexual harassment.” There was a pause.
“I’m not apologizing,” Alushy said.
“Listen,” Braveheart said. “I know this is asking a lot, but…”
“But…”
“I want you to keep yourself locked in the basement until all of them are gone.” There was another short pause.
“I get the distinct impression you’re embarrassed of me,” Alushy said.
“Alushy...”
“I’m going to go with, no.”
“This is important, and I don’t need you causing another scene.”
“I don’t have to take this. I’m going for a walk.”
“No you don’t!”
“Oh, what’re you going to do? Grab that guy who can stop me? What was his name? Michal McDoesn’t Exist?” Braveheart gave an annoyed sigh.
“What do you want?” he deadpanned.
“Whaat?” Alushy asked.
“What do I need to give you to keep you down there for the evening?” Alushy thought about this.
“A 70 inch, plasma widescreen TV,” she said.
“Really?” Braveheart said.
“With Netflix,” Alushy added.
“Should it also be 3D?” Braveheart asked.
“No!” Alushy cried. “That’s a stupid fucking gimmick and everyone knows it!”
“Very well,” Braveheart sighed. Alushy hung up and Braveheart put down the phone. He put a hand to his face.
“Was that necessary?” Sunset asked.
“What else was I going to do?” Braveheart sighed. “It was either bribe her or risk getting in a worse situation than what we’re in already. I’d rather not let the latter happen.” Sunset nodded in agreement.
The financial meeting got started a few hours later. Braveheart took the responsibility of the meeting while Sunset put Blazing Fire to bed. The administrators were all elderly stallions. Braveheart got the meeting under way.
“Hello, gentlecolts,” he said. “Thank you very much for coming.”
“Well, considering the problems with your financial security, we thought it was the least we could do,” one of the stallions said.
“Now, before we begin, I was under the distinct impression that our budget was handled directly by the Crystal Empire.”
“Oh, it is,” another stallion said. “However, we’re having a distinctly difficult time justifying some of these expenses. Most of them under the name…Alushy?” Braveheart facepalmed and took a deep breath.
“Continue,” he said.
“For example, some of them were frankly labeled, Entertainment,” the stallion said.
“Entertainment?” Braveheart asked.
“Right,” a third stallion said. “Here’s my report. 20,000 bits for…uh…candi?”
“That’s candi with an I, by the way,” the stallion to the right said.
“I see,” Braveheart said.
“There was also an incident involving Sugarcube Corner,” the first stallion said. “It sits at about 95,000 bits…” Braveheart had stopped listening.
“I would do fucking anything right now to get out of this,” he mentally cursed. Little did anyone at the meeting know, there was going to be a lot more excitement than any of them anticipated.
Outside of Canterlot, in the Frozen North, two Unicorn stallions were tramping through the snow, using heat spells to keep themselves warm.
“Ever since I got shot by the committee and that Hellsing bitch, I’ve had aches in my bones,” one of them said.
“You think you had it bad?” the other asked. “Jon, I was eaten by Alucard, then puked up again later. Only to be used as a ragdoll by that butler. You had it easy compared to me.”
“At least I went out in style, Luke,” Jon said. “I got one last taunt off.”
“You know what, Jon? You can just shut up now,” Luke fumed. These two ponies were the Valentine brothers. They had invaded the Hellsing Organization under the orders of the Major of the Millennium Organization, but failed. They had taken a good chunk of the Hellsing Organization with them, but to no avail. Now, they had been brought back from the dead and into a world they despised. They were looking for revenge on the Hellsing Organization, and they had to get back there. After walking for another few miles, they came across a house with a single light on.
“There’s something familiar about this place,” Luke said.
“The only thing familiar here is that there’s one light on,” Jon said. “That means a bitch and a dick are getting it on in there.”
“Can you ever think about something else?” Luke wondered out loud. “No, there’s something else familiar. It’s like…oh, god!”
“What?”
“I sense the presence of Alucard in there,” Luke gasped. “Perhaps he’s weakened in his new body.”
“Worth a shot, I suppose,” Jon shrugged. “But don’t come crying to me if he isn’t.” Another light turned on, and the brothers looked. Sunset walked into the kitchen, towel over her chest. She opened up a cupboard, looking for something.
“I just found myself a reason to break inside,” Jon grinned.
“Oh, boy,” Luke grumbled. “Do what you wish, I guess. I’m going to go find Alucard and bring him down.” The brothers split up, eager to fulfill their goals.
At the financial meeting, Braveheart was as bored as he was pissed. The administrators rambled on and on about the expenses Alushy had caused and what they planned to do with the Hellsing budget. Suddenly, the power cut out.
“What’s going on?” one of the stallions asked.
“I don’t know,” Braveheart said. “Stay here. I’m going to have a look around. Do you have a weapon?” The administrators all pulled out a pistol. Braveheart nodded and drew his revolver, now loaded with blessed bullets. He shut the door to the meeting room and lit up his horn with a light spell. He cocked back the hammer and chambered a round. The hallway was darkened. Blazing’s door was closed, as was his and Sunset’s. But the crack at the base of the door was lit. Braveheart, ever careful, slowly walked toward the door. He put an ear to the door, and heard faint muffled moans and screams. Faint thuds could be heard as well. Braveheart dispersed his light spell and swiftly opened the door. He saw Sunset Shimmer tied to the bed, ball gag in her mouth. Her nightgown, bra, and underwear were lying on the floor. A brown stallion in dark clothing was over her, pants undone. Braveheart quickly aimed and fired. The bullet went into the stallion’s head, spraying blood and brain on the curtains. He fell off the bed and landed in a heap on the floor. Braveheart ran inside and got Sunset out of the bondages. He took one of the blankets on the floor and wrapped it around her naked body.
“Honey, are you OK?” Braveheart asked. Sunset barely managed a nod. She was shaking. Braveheart wrapped his arms around her and held her close.
“It’s OK,” he whispered. “It’s OK. I’m right here.” The body of the sex offender burst into blue flame and disintegrated into ash within seconds.
“Daddy?” a small voice said. Braveheart looked over to see Blazing Fire standing there, rubbing her eyes. She must have just gotten up. Braveheart stood up and walked over. He kneeled down.
“Hey, baby,” he said.
“Is mommy OK?” Blazing asked. Braveheart took his little girl’s hand and walked her back to her room.
“Yeah,” he lied. “Mommy’s just fine. She’s fine.” Blazing crawled back into her bed and Braveheart tucked her in. “Just try and go back to sleep,” he said. “Everything’s all right.”
“Good night, Daddy,” Blazing whispered.
“Good night, baby,” Braveheart whispered back. He kissed his daughter on the cheek and left, closing the door. He silently ran back to Sunset. She was still on the bed, blanket around her. Braveheart sat down and held her.
“He…he…he wouldn’t…” Sunset stammered. Braveheart shushed her.
“Don’t talk about it,” he whispered. “Don’t talk, don’t think. Just…just don’t.” He held her for a long time, neither of them saying a word. Sunset was gasping, crying. Braveheart stayed with her, making sure she was OK and safe. After a good hour, Braveheart let go of Sunset.
“I’ll be right back,” he assured. Sunset nodded. Braveheart left the room and walked back into the meeting room.
“I’m sorry for the wait,” he said to the administrators.
“We heard a gunshot,” the first stallion said. “Is everything all right?”
“Yes,” Braveheart said. “Everything’s fine.” He sat back down and they continued their financial discussion.
Down in the basement, Alushy and Seras were chilling out, watching some TV. Seras took a sip of red wine then put down her glass. Alushy was clearly enjoying his program. Out of nowhere, the wall behind the television exploded, creating a hole and taking the TV with it. Luke Valentine stood there, rifle in hand. Alushy was not amused.
“That was a 70 inch, plasma screen TV,” Alushy deadpanned. She took a deep breath. “So, how can I help you?”
“Good to see you again Alucard,” Luke said.
“Oh, brother,” Alushy complained. “Not you again.”
“It’s me again,” Luke said. “I’ve been looking forward to this for a while.”
“Looking forward to what?” Alushy asked. “Another ass whupping? Because that’s what’s going to happen if you don’t leave immediately.”
“Would you like to bet on it?” Luke wondered.
“Not on your life,” Alushy groaned. She snapped her fingers, and Seras fired off a shot. Luke avoided the shot, and it exploded behind him, knocking him forward. Alushy was upon him in an instant, hoisting him up by the throat.
“You know, I thought you’d know better,” Alushy said, shaking her head. “After challenging me the first time, I’d thought you’d think twice. I guess not. Such a shame.” Alushy pointed the Jackal to Luke’s temple. She whispered into his ear.
“What was that I said before I killed you the last time?” she asked. “Oh, yes, that’s right.” Alushy’s voice became dark and demonic whisper. “Give me a hug.” She fired off the shot, killing Luke for good. Alushy dropped the body and it hit the floor. It instantly burst into flames and disintegrated. Alushy shook her head and walked back to her throne to sip some more wine.
At the financial meeting, Braveheart and the administrators had come to a solution.
“So it’s settled then,” the second stallion said. “We’ll continue funding you, and you in turn keep your vampire pet in check.”
“Very well,” Braveheart agreed. The group stood up and Braveheart shook each of their hands. “Thank you again,” he said as they left. Once the last one left the building, Alushy stepped out of the basement.
“Are they gone?” she asked.
“Yeah,” Braveheart said, walking upstairs. He sighed.
“Something wrong?”
“No. Everything’s fine. Keep watch of the place tonight. Securely. Nothing comes in or goes out.” Alushy nodded. Braveheart reached the top of the stairs and walked into his room with Sunset. She was still in shock, but she had calmed down a little. She hadn’t moved. Braveheart laid down in the bed and urged Sunset to do the same.
“Come on, hon’,” he said. “You need to get some rest. Don’t worry. I’m right here, and Alushy’s keeping night watch. I have my gun in my hand with the safety off. I won’t let anyone or anything touch you.” Sunset eventually laid down and got up close to Braveheart. He comforted her the best he could, but neither of them could sleep after what they had just gone through.
