Chapter 4: Hey Guys, How's Your Health Plan?

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Braveheart and Sunset Shimmer didn’t sleep at all. Braveheart couldn’t get over the fact that his wife had been raped. Violently. He tossed and turned through the night, trying to get comfortable. But each movement he made only made him more uncomfortable. Eventually, it got to the point where he had to take a cold shower just to cool down. Sunset, on the other hand, didn’t move at all. She just laid in bed, frozen with fear and shock. She couldn’t shake the memory.

Sunset had just gotten out of the shower. She wrung out her hair and wrapped a towel around herself. She slipped into her socks and walked downstairs after first making sure that Blazing Fire was really asleep. She walked into the kitchen and opened up a cupboard, looking for the coffee pot. She got that and the coffee grounds and made herself a cup of coffee. She took a couple of sips before going back upstairs to change into her nightgown. She walked into her room and closed the door. She hung her towel on the back of the door and put on her bra and underwear. She slipped into her nightgown. All of a sudden, the lights cut out. Sunset groaned and turned on a powerful battery lamp she kept nearby, and the room lit up. A Unicorn stallion was leaning up against the far wall.

“How’s it going, bitch?” he asked her. Sunset slowly backed away into her dresser. She reached behind it and grabbed Braveheart’s curved knife Rainbow Dash had given him. She took a few swings at the intruder, who avoided them easily. He swiftly grabbed her arm and squeezed, causing her to drop the knife. The intruder slid the knife into a corner and grabbed Sunset by the neck. She swung hard with her free arm and clocked the intruder in the jaw. He let go of her, allowing her to run for the knife. She picked it up and stabbed it into the intruder’s back. He cried out in pain and yanked the knife out. He threw it across the room and tackled Sunset. He picked her up by the neck and slammed her down on the bed. Before Sunset could do anything, he stripped her naked and tied her to the bed and tied a ball gag to her mouth. Sunset struggled, but she couldn’t move. The predator proceeded to forcefully rape her. It had only been a few seconds, but it seemed like forever. A gunshot suddenly rang out, and the predator’s blood sprayed from the back of his head.

“Sunset?” Braveheart asked. Sunset looked up to see her husband sitting next to her.

“You can’t sleep either?” she quietly asked.

“No,” Braveheart said. “I can’t stop worrying about you.”

“I’m OK,” Sunset assured. “I’m just shocked, that’s all.”

“Yes, but the predator was a vampire,” Braveheart sighed. “He could have killed you.” They were both silent for a while. They didn’t say another word about last night.

“Hey kids, wanna see a dead body?!” Alushy cried, fazing through the wall. Sunset and Braveheart jumped, and Braveheart fired a blessed bullet into Alushy’s head. Blood sprayed onto the wall, but Alushy merely shook it off as her flesh grew back.

“Such a violent ‘good morning’,” Alushy murmured. Braveheart took his finger off the trigger and sighed.

“Don’t. Do that. Again,” Braveheart growled. Alushy absorbed her own blood back and stepped into the room.

“I came to tell you that it’s daybreak,” she said.

“Thank you,” Braveheart said. “Would you mind cleaning up the mess we’ve got here?”

“A light breakfast for me then,” Alushy shrugged. She walked over to the blood stained curtains and absorbed what was left. “Tastes like Valentine brother blood.” Alushy suddenly frowned. “Oh, Jan, you disgust me,” she hissed. She looked at Sunset with heartfelt sympathy. Sunset looked down. Braveheart looked up at Alushy sternly.

“You know?” he asked. Alushy nodded.

“Jan was always that way,” she recalled. “You did good killing him.” Alushy turned to Sunset. “I’m terribly sorry.” She turned around and left the room. Braveheart and Sunset stayed where they were for a while.

Downstairs, Seras was helping Blazing Fire get some breakfast. Alushy came downstairs.

“Hello Seras,” she said. “Hello Blazing.”

“Good morning, Master,” Seras waved.

“Hi, Miss Alushy,” Blazing said. “Are Mommy and Daddy up yet?”

“Yes, they are,” Alushy replied. “They’ll be down in a bit.” She walked back down into the basement. She pulled out the Jackal and the Casull. The Casull had always been Alucard’s go to gun in combat. The rounds pierced the highest quality armor, and they stopped other vampires dead in their tracks. But when Walter gave Alucard the Jackal, it had become his new priority gun. The Casull still saw plenty of action, but it wasn’t nearly as powerful as the Jackal. But the Jackal was a trap by the Major. It exploded in Alucard’s hand when he tried to use it on Walter during their fight in London. Integra had since repaired and improved it, making the Jackal even more powerful. She had improved the Casull as well, giving the rounds more power. Alushy took aim with each gun and fired at a stone target at the far side of the armory. They both scored headshots. She put the guns away and poured herself a glass of wine.

Later that day, around noon, Braveheart and Sunset had come downstairs. Sunset was working on the dark spells on the black page, and Braveheart was teaching his daughter how to fly. Seras and Alushy were in the basement. The Hellsing laptop was pulled up, keeping up to date on the news. Blazing was learning fast, and her current record in the air was three minutes.

“I’m getting a bit tired, Daddy,” she said, breathing heavily.

“Stop when you’re ready,” Braveheart said. “I won’t stop you.”

“No, no,” Blazing said, shaking her head. “I can keep going.” The laptop went off with an alert, startling Blazing and causing her to drop to the floor. Braveheart stood up and walked over. He checked up on it, and found some troubling news.

“Oh no.”

“What is it?” Sunset asked.

“Vampire in Baltimare. Already killed 200 innocents.”

“I heard vampire,” Alushy said, popping her head out of the basement hatch. Braveheart put his hands behind his back.

“Well, you heard right,” he said. “You and Seras have a mission in Baltimare. The vampire has already taken 200 innocent lives. You know what to do.”

“Don’t I always?” Alushy asked. “Come along, Police Girl.” Seras climbed out of the hatch, Harkonnen in tow. She and Alushy left the building and took off for Baltimare.

In the vast city of Baltimare, the alleys were a mess with bodies. Police had found them and tried to pinpoint the killer, but they couldn’t. The entire city was on lockdown. No one was to enter or leave the city limits. But the vampire had no intention of leaving. He roamed the streets freely, seen, but unseen. He was former card player Tubalcain Alhumbra. He had been defeated by Alucard and absorbed, but returned from the dead to here. He made a new life as a vampire in Balimare, keeping a low profile, and making money playing poker in local casinos. He was the best in the city, going by the nickname, the Dandy Man. After a while, he got bored with simply playing. He started up a new trend where if someone lost to him, he would take them out into an alley, kill them, and hide the body. After a while, he wanted attention, so he exposed the bodies for the police to find. They had just recently found all 200 of his victims, and that’s when he decided to go into a famous casino to participate in a poker tournament. He stepped into the casino and was almost immediately flocked by ponies wanting his autograph. He selected a few ponies to give his autograph to, but most of them he shunned off. He saved his ink for whom he felt worthy. He sat down at the center poker table.

“Good evening, my friends,” he spoke in a Brazilian accent. “Shall we get started with the tournament?”

“Let’s,” a deep voice boomed from the front of the room. Everyone turned to see Alushy and Seras standing at the main doors.

“Good to see you again, Alhumbra,” Alushy hissed. “Back for another round I see.”

“You’ll have to catch me first, Miss,” Alhumbra said. He pointed at Alushy and Seras. “They’re this city’s killers!” he cried. “Seize them!” The crowd of gamblers backed away, and a great number of security surrounded Alushy and Seras. Alushy didn’t move. Seras’s demonic arm jumped around. Alushy leaned up close to Seras.

“Get to the top of a building and wait for my signal,” she ordered. Seras nodded and bolted out of the casino and flew away.

“Let her go!” the security chief cried. “This one’s more important.” Alushy drew out the Casull and the Jackal and stood there.

“Drop your weapons!” the security chief cried. When Alushy did not comply, the security guards opened fire on her. The bullets tore through her body, ripping her apart and spraying blood everywhere. One bullet blew her face in half. When the guards ran out of shots, Alushy hit the floor on her back, playing dead. The guards cautiously approached Alushy. One guard tapped his rifle to her head, and she didn’t move. The security lowered their guard and started to walk away, herding ponies away from the scene. Alushy decided she had waited long enough. She grinned evilly and laughed. The guards turned in horror to see the pool of blood shrinking as Alushy absorbed it back. She stood up, firearms in hand. Alhumbra was in the middle of the crowd, furious. Alushy’s eyes turned a glowing red as she raised the Casull and the Jackal. She chuckled and spouted a one liner.

“Hey, guys. How’s your health plan?”
