The Big Bad Diamond Dog
Take Boast Busters and A Dog and Pony Show, put it in a blender, and set it to "fairy tale-ize." The CMC one day barge into class and warn everyone that a Diamond Dog is coming to town! But do Snips and Snails listen? Nope!

The Cutie Mark Crusaders barge into the school one day to tell everypony that The Big Bad Diamond Dog is coming to Ponyville to attack the town. They don't trust them and simply laugh it off, but after hearing them out, they decided to at least give them a try by constructing a plan to see this Bid Bad Diamond Dog in the flesh. However things don't well when two young ponies put a huge damper on this plan. Hint: one's snippy and one's slow.
This story is sort of a combination of Boast Busters and A Dog and Pony Show. An alternate interpretaion if you will. Basically, the Diamond Dogs you (may or may not) know have been changed into cartoon-ish fairy tale monsters (obviously based on The Big Bad Wolf), the CMC, who already earned their cutie marks, don't challenge anyone or get captured but instead learn about the looming threat, and Snips and Snails, who received more than questionable consequence, received something far more worse than a pair of mustaches. How will all of these things unfold? Read on to find out!
