Chapter 10: Commitment Issues
"Can you run that by me again?" you ask, still very confused.
"Well, I found you in a ditch, I carried you home, and you complimented me the entire time" Luna answered.
"We got that part, but why are the two of you getting married?" Whooves asked.
"Well, during the flight I jokingly said that it sounds like he's in love with me, and he said that he is, and then he suggested we get married" Luna replied as she pulled you towards her, "Then we got into bed and had some fun"
Everypony's reactions were what you could expect them to be, surprised, confused, and just a tiny bit of pity thrown into the mix. You knew that you would have to tell Luna that you were drunk off your ass when you said those things, but you couldn't bring yourself to say it. You looked over to your friends pleadingly, hoping that they could help you break the news, but none of them saw you.
"I told Celestia and she said it will be an even bigger wedding than Shining Armor and Cadance's!" Luna said cheerfully.
"Um, Luna, can I go talk to my friends for a minute" you quietly asked her.
"Why of course dear, just don't take to long"
Without any hesitation you ran over to them, hoping they could help you out of this mess. You looked over and saw that Scootaloo had been joined by the two other members of the CMC, and that Applejack had come over to congratulate you and talk to her brother. That meant the only ponies you could talk to were Whooves and Cheerilee, and you hoped that would be good enough.
"I need your help" you said as you stopped in front of them.
"With what?" Whooves asked nonchalantly.
"Take a wild guess jackass!" you shouted as you pushed him over, "I was wasted when I said those things, and now I'm going to marry her?!"
"Calm down, I'm sure it'll all work out" Cheerilee said with her hoof across your neck, "Think about it, she's one of the princesses that rules all of Equestria, and she wants to marry you!"
"I know I should feel honored, but, I'm not even sure if I really feel that way"
"Don't worry, we'll be there for you, we promise" she said reassuringly.
"You damned well better be, it's all because I had to fill in for you that this happened" you said, sounding angrier than you had meant to.
"I know, I know, and I'm sorry, but there was no way I could have known that Luna would fall for you just because you were a good pony"
"No no, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that" you said while lowering your head.
"Hey Silver?" Scootaloo asked out of no where.
"Yes?"
"Does this mean Luna is going to be my mom?"
"Uh..." you said while rubbing your chin, "I think, I'm not sure"
"Of course it does Scootaloo" Luna said from behind you, causing you to jump.
"This is going to be awesome!" Scootaloo said as she ran up to hug Luna. As you watched her and Luna hug you could swear you felt some sort of warmth from deep down inside, but you still had to tell Luna why you said what you said, no matter how much you didn't want to.
"Luna, can talk?" you asked as they broke the hug.
"Of course dear"
"Privately?"
Luna simply nodded, a worried look making it's way across her face. You lead her away from the festivities and towards a secluded part of the town so that no one could hear what you were about to tell her.
"Luna, you remember how you found me in the ditch, right?"
"Of course, why wouldn't I, it was right before you proposed!"
"Well, when you found me, I was kinda, uh, drunk"
"What does that matter?" Luna asked forcefully.
"I was really drunk, and I may have said somethings that I didn't actually mean" you said while looking away from Luna's face.
"So?! I love you, and you still said it, so you must have feelings for me too!" Luna shouted, tears flowing down her face.
"I know, but I don't think I'm ready for marriage," you said calmly as you pulled her into a hug, "Maybe we should start it off slow, and go from there"
"But we slept together!"
"I know, but I was drunk and I tricked you into it"
"But-" you cut her off with your hoof across her mouth.
"I don't even remember it, so how can I decide based off of it?"
This time Luna didn't respond, instead she just cried into your shoulder while you hugged her.

After around an hour you and Luna both returned to the party, only to find that it had ended after Pinkie accidentally brought out her cider cannon instead of her normal party cannon. You turned to ask Luna if you could talk to Celestia so you could explain yourself, but as you did you saw Luna take off and fly towards Canterlot, fresh tears making their way down her face
"Great, now I feel like an ass" you said to yourself, "No offense"
"None taken" said a somewhat drunk donkey that appeared out of nowhere.
"Hey there's the lucky stallion!" You quickly looked towards the source of the noise and saw Whooves running towards you at full speed. Before he could hit you you jumped out of the way and he went flying into a tree. He managed to get his head stuck inside it, so you went over to pull him out. After a few hard pulls his head popped out.
"Hey, look what I found!" Whooves said after dropping a colorful ball on the ground.
"Whooves, where's everypony else?"
"Oh, everyone went over to you house to celebrate, I just here because I was looking for my TARDIS" he said as he picked the ball up again and wandered off. You didn't have time to help him, knowing that at this point of his drunkenness it was pointless to try and get him to think straight, so you ran off towards your house, hoping that the ponies there were still sober. As you got closer to your house you noticed that the number of drunk ponies lying in the streets had started to go down, which you hoped meant that you really would have some sane ponies to talk to.
Just as you got to your door you heard a loud pop and then saw pure darkness. It felt as though you were falling from the sky, and just as you had started to get used to the feeling it ended, and color was brought back into your sight. Although it was a color you would have rather not seen.
"Hello Silver Star" Celestia said menacingly.
"Princess" you said groggily.
"So, from what I have heard from Luna, you have called off the wedding" she said as she put you on your feet.
"For now yes, I'm just not ready for that right now"
"Then why did you ask for her hoof in marriage in the first place"
"I was drunk!" you shouted angrily.
"Yet you still asked, and I will not allow you to go back on your words!" Celestia shouted back while her horn began to glow.
"What are you going to do, force me into it?" you shouted back, louder than before, "You off all ponies should know that only brings chaos!"
POP
Again darkness surrounded you, only this time, you didn't feel like you were falling. You attempted to feel out your surroundings, but you couldn't touch anything, so then you tried to use magic, and nothing happened.
CRACK
You heard thunder, but it sounded as though it had come from inside your head. You felt around yourself again, this time feeling something soft and fluffy, almost like a cloud. This made you try to open your eyes, and you saw that you were miles above the Everfree, somehow standing on a cloud, but suddenly the cloud disappeared.
SNAP
How many people caught the jokes I hid in this chapter?
