Rainbow's pastView Onlinea random TwidashRainbow's past"Time to wake up!", a strange voice rang in Twilight's ears. she opens her eyes and when the light hits her eyes her head throbs like somepony was using a jackhammer on it. As her eyes adjust to the light she realizes she is not in her library. She finds herself in a holding cell at the ponyville courthouse. "What am i doing here?" she asks the tall brown maned guard who she figured was the strange voice that woke her. "You were arrested last night for starting a fight with her." he points to a light blue unicorn with a snow wight mane and tail in the next cell. "Trixie?" Twilight asked "When did you get back in town?" Trixie turns to twilight with a black eye and a bloody lip "Late yesterday evening."she says looking pissed. "What happened?" Twilight asked. "You tell me." Trixie said, anger in her voice. "I don't really rember much but i can tell from this hange over I was probly drunk." Twilight said. "well that doesn't help, well i guess its not really important. " Trixie said with a little annoyance in her voice. "So are ether of you pressing charges?" The guard ask. Twilight looks at Trixie and she looks back and the both say in unison "Nah." "Ok, well then you both are free to go you just nee to get somepony to come pick you up." the guard says as he gets his keys off his belt to unlock the cells holding the two mares. "Why do we need somepony to pick us up?" Twilight asks a little confused. "sorry madam it is just policy, whenever a pony comes in for detox they have to leave with somepony else and then that pony needs to walk them home." the guard said as he get the cells unlocked . "Ok well I could call one of my friends or spike to come pick me up." Twilight says, "What about you Trixie?" "I can call one of my family members." Trixie says "Ok, would you like to use one of pay phones out front." The guard asks so Twilight and Trixie walk out with the guard and as they enter the main lobby twilight recognize a rainbow maned cyan Pegasus sitting on a bench with her nose in a daring do book"Rainbow?" twilight asked "What are you doing here?" Rainbow Dash looked up from her book to see twilight standing there and says "waiting to get my weather license renewed but forget about me what the hay are you doing here and is that Trixie?" she points at Trixie who is talking on the pay phone. "Yeah, i guess me and her got into a drunken fight last night." "Really well i guess that explanes the black eye " Rainbow says with a snicker. "Yeah looks like i got her good." Twilight says a little sorry . "No i meant yours." Rainbow says "What do you mean." twilight walks over to a window and looks at her reflection to see Rainbow dash was right she had a black eye. Rainbow walks up behind her trying to hold back her laughter where as twilight is trying to do the same . "Rainbow Dash your license is ready to be picked up." said a voice over the loud speaker. Rainbow goes and picks up her license and walks back over to Twilight who is still holding back a laugh. just then the guard says "Madam the phone is free if you want to use it." both Twilight and Rainbow turn around and look at the guard . "Hey Hutch whats up?" Rainbow asks the guard. "Hows Starsky doing, still sick?" "Oh hey Rainbow yeah that's why they still got me on guard duty."the guard says giving Rainbow a high five. "You know each other?" Twilight asks. "Well hay yeah we go all the back to the academy" Rainbow said."This is Hutch Twilight and Hutch this is my friend Twilight Sparkle." "Yeah we already met when i let her out of the holding cell." Huch says "Wait are you talking about the Wonderbolts academy? But he is an earth pony." Twilight said confused. "No i mean the police academy I tried to become a cop once. Yeah and i could have made it if i hadn't twisted my hove right in the middle of the obstical coarse."Rainbow said very proudly. "Yeah rainbow was at the top of the class when she was in the academy." Hutch said "Wow i never knew you wanted to be a cop Rainbow." twilight said "Why don't you try again?" "Don't even try twilight me and Starsky have been trying to get her back here for three years but she just won't do it and she won't tell us why." Hutch says. "May i ask who Starsky is please?" Twilight asks "Oh he is Hutchs partner." Rainbow says, "they drive around in that cart you know the red one with the wight stripe. Whats it called the zebra three or something like that? "Yep that's it." Hutch said proudly, "So going back to before the phone is open looks like the other girl left already." "Oh yeah, thanks I'll just call spike to come get me he is probably wondering where i am." Twilight says "Uh he is with the CMC right now Twi." rainbow says "I guess I could call rarity." Twilight says She's at the spa with Fluttershy and you know she dosen't like to be interuped, and its zap apple season so applejack is too busy on the farm but i'm not so i can walk you home if that's ok with you and Hutch here." Rainbow says as she nudges Hutch. "Fine with me Rainbow." Hutch says "Ok well then lets go Rainbow." twilight says as she walks towrads the the door. "Hey wait for me, see ya Hutch tell Starsky to get well soon." Rainbow says as she races to catch up with twilight. "See ya later and i will." Hutch yells to Rainbow. Author's Note hey this is my first fan fic so hit me with your best criticism i will take it an try to improve for the next chapter. i want to try to make this a four chapter story but i don't know when I'll post the next chapter just depends on how this chapter dose.

"But Hutch said not to even try because he and Starsky have been trying to for three years?" Twilight said a little confused. "Yeah but I meant aren't you gonna ask why I wanted to be a cop." Rainbow said correcting her friend. "Oh, I didn't even think about that." Twilight said. "So why did you?" "Well when I was a filly in elementary school we had a day where the police chief and the fire chief came in to my class and talked about their jobs, and well I thought that the police chief was kinda cool." Rainbow said as the two passed Raritys boutique. "Wow I never knew that." Twilight said "So why did you stop?" "Well like I said I twisted my hove on the obsitcal corse." Rainbow replied "Yeah I know that but why didn't you finish after your hove was better?" Twilight asked "To be honest i don't Know why I just never felt like i could do it after that." Rainbow said a little discomfort in her voice. "Well do you ever think you would ever try again?" Twilight asked as they walked past Sugar cube corner. "I don't know I still don't think i could make it I mean I'd have to take all the test again and I'd have to rerun the obstical course it just feels like too much trouble." Rainbow said a little disappointment at her self in her voice. "Well i could always help you study for the test and I'm pretty sure you could nail the obstical course, I mean you are the fastest pony in all of ponyville if not equerista." Twilight said trying to give her friend a little confidence. The two finally arrived at the golden oak library and Rainbow said, "Maybe I will!" a little more confidence in her voice. "All right just come on over when ever you need any help with anything." Twilight said "Yeah I will." Rainbow said "See you later Twi." "Bye Rainbow." Twilight replied, as she walked into the library and Rainbow flew off and went back to her cloud home. As twilight walked up the stairs to take a shower because she still smelled like a drunken slob. She thought to herself "Maybe i can ask shing if i could brow his police academy textbooks." "Don't be silly rainbow you'll do just fine." twilight said trying to cheer up her friend, "After all you did great on my mock test yesterday and you completed the obstacle course in the time limit." "Yeah I guess you are right Twi I bet I'll do just fine," Rainbow said as she stood up a little braver. "So Rainbow you've decided to try out for the academy again." A familiar voice said from behind rainbow. but twilight didn't recognize it. rainbow turned around to see a blond maned unicorn, "Starsky! feeling better i see. wheres hutch?" rainbow says 'Oh he is just in back clocking in we just got off our break. so is this twilight sparkle hutch has told me about." Starsky asks. "Oh yeah Starsky this is twilight and Twi this is Starsky the pony i told you about when you meet hutch. rainbow said "Nice to finally meet you Starsky." twilight said reaching out her hove to shake Starskys. "The pleasure is all mine twilight sparkle." Starsky said as he returned the hoveshake "Rainbow what are you doing here? oh and twilight to." another voice came from behind the two mares. "hey hutch rainbow here is rejoining the academy." Starsky said "really well i take it we have you to thank for that twilight?" Hutsh asked "Not really i just helped her study and mad a mock obstacle course." twilight replied "well still that is still more then we could have done." Starsky said walking over to hutch well we better get back to work the streets wont protect themselves." "see you around guys." rainbow says waving good bye to the two as they left. trainingView Onlinea random TwidashtrainingA few days after the incident at the courthouse Twilight wrote a letter to her brother asking if she could barrow his police training manual. She now had all the things she needed to help Rainbow Dash with trying to get back in the police academy and complete it. “So what’s first?” Rainbow asked excitedly “First we will test to see how much you still emberm about the test and see how quick you are in this mock obsitcle course.” Twilight says pointing to a rough looking obsitcle course. “Really Twi I’m pretty sure I can still do that course in ten seconds flat. But the test I might not be able to pass.” Rainbow said proudly. “Well we will just have to wait and see won’t we.” Twilight said handing Rainbow a piece of paper. “What is this?” Rainbow asked “Well that is the pretest to see how much you remember from the test.” Twilight said with a evil smile on her face. “Wait I thought that I was doing the obistical course first?” Rainbow asked. “I never said that. By the way you have an hour to take that test.” Twilight said “Starting now.” “Wait what?” Rainbow exclaimed An hour passed as Rainbow took the test. “Hey Twi I’m done with the test what next ?” Rainbow asked “No just give me a few minutes to grade you test, you can read the new Dairing Do book if you want wile I’m grading.” Twilight said pointing to one of the many books stacked on a table. “Ok just hurry up.” Rainbow said as she walked over to the table to grab the new Daring Do book. She looked at the cover and read the tittle “Daring Do And The Journey To The Center Of Equerstia” the picture on the cover was Daring running from a giant lizard that walked on two legs, “I’ll have to ask Fluttershy what kind of lizard that is later.” She thought to her self. About twenty minutes later Twilight said “I’ve finished grading your test Rainbow.” “What did I get?” Rainbow asked looking up from her book she had just gotten to the part were Daring had fallen into a inactive volcano. “You got a 40 out of 50 questions right not bad. Now it is time to test you on your skills on the obstical course.” Twilight said “Yes finally.” Rainbow said as she flew over to the starting line. ”Hold up Rainbow you can’t use your wings in this obstical course .” Twilight yelled after Rainbow “Well I knew that Twi.” Rainbow said rolling her eyes “OK well you have four minutes to complete the course think you can do it?” Twilight asks sarcastically “Are you kidding me I could do this in ten seconds flat.” Rainbow said egotistically. “OK well the clock starts now.” Twilight said as Rainbow took off faster then Twilight has ever seen her run. “How did I do?” Rainbow asked out of breath as she finished the course. “You did it in just three minutes fourty five seconds.” Twilight responded “Not quite the ten seconds you said you could do it in.” “Well with half the stuff you put in it that is kinda impossible.” Rainbow said a little annoyed and still out of breath “Yeah I guess but I asked my brother what he had to go through and this is what he said it was like.” Twilight said “But that is still good enough to pass the test so I still think you can do it still.” “Really?” Rainbow asked perking up. “Yeah.” Twilight replied
