To Become a God

So I was right... I really am Arceus... FUCK YEAH!! I'M MOTHERFUCKING ARCEUS!!!! I started dancing around. I only stopped when I saw a giant beam of blue light shoot up into the sky. Better check it out. I ran to the corner of the building and peered around it.

The fuck?

What I saw shocked me. There was a demon laughing at a group of... schoolgirls? Yeah, schoolgirls. The demon was red with red and yellow hair, wearing a red and yellow dress. Seems like this chick really likes red and yellow. She had red and black dragon-like wings and boots with the same colour scheme. On her head was a crown with a purple star, covered in a sickly blue aura.

"Gee, the gang really is all back together again!" The demon said, laughing. "Now step aside." She started preparing a large fireball, "Twilight has tried interfere with my plans one too many times already. She needs to be dealt with."

The demon released the fireball, sending it flying to the group of girls.

Crap! What do I do?! I thought about running over, but I knew I wouldn't be able to make it in time. Unless... Letting my body do what came naturally once more, I took off at high speed. Extreme Speed!

I managed to get in front of them before the fire ball reached them. I braced myself for impact and waited for the fireball to hit me. Not a second later, it hit it's mark. Or would've if I wasn't there. Smoke enveloped me, shielding me from view. I heard the demon laughing maniacally. The smoke cleared, and I heard the girls behind me gasp, drawing the attention of the demon once more.

Looking behind me, I saw the girls looking at me in shock. Funny thing is, I had to look down a fair bit. Seeing as Arceus is pretty damn tall. I returned my attention to the demon when I heard it speak.

"What?! How did you survive that spell?! That's impossible!"

"You shall not harm these people." I responded, choosing to ignore the shocked looks I was gaining. I'm guessing that I was able to talk by using some sort of psychic power to voice my thoughts.

"And how can you talk?!"

"I am Arceus, God of Pokémon. Creator of the universe. I choose what I can and can't do." I stated calmly.

"Grah! Just get out of my way and let me take over what I want!" The demon sent more and more fireballs at me, but I just met them head on. Like a boss. When it let up on it's barrage, I chose that moment to act. Darting forward, I ran towards her, sending out Hyper Beam attacks. Somehow, I didn't need to recharge between them. Perks of being a God, I guess. When I got close enough, I used a High-Jump Kick attack, sending it into the wall. The Demon emerged from the rubble, looking a bit ragged. Looking to immobilize it, I went through every move I knew.

Mean Look, Bind, Fire Spin, Psychic... Aha!

Readying myself, I uttered three powerful words to everyone in the vicinity.

"Roar of Time!"

The Demon was stuck in a small time loop, preventing it from moving. Inside the loop, it was constantly being attacked by all of the time inconsistencies in the universe. I don't understand how they work, I just know that I would never want to go up against it. Especially if it was Dialga doing it.

Behind me, I saw the girls talking, shouting something to the Demon. I didn't take any notice. I was busy keeping it still. I also noticed a line of purple, sparkling dust leaving a trail from within my time barrier to the purple skinned girl.

I saw a rainbow shoot up into the sky from my position, and I stopped the time loop. The Demon looked up and saw the rainbow diving down towards her.

"No. NO! This can't be happening! NOOOOOOOO!!!!" The rainbow flew around her, creating a tornado. When it finished forming, small lines of rainbow flew out from the top. A beam connected with one of the students, that I somehow only managed to notice then, and split off, destroying the mind control on them. A bright flash later, and I was the only one outside that was still standing.

I looked around and saw a ravaged lawn. Scattered in front of a statue were the girls from before, now all sporting pony ears and three of them had wings. The students looked out of the once grand entrance and stared at me with wide eyes.

"Yes, I know, not everyday something like this happens." I said, rolling my eyes.

The standing students suddenly dropped in numbers, as some of them fainted on the spot.

"Oh come on! I didn't even use Hypnosis!" I joked.

Turning back to the downed girls, I saw a dog walk up to the purple skinned one from before, and give her a lick. She opened her eyes and sat up, opening up her arms invitingly. The dog jumped into them and the girl gave it a hug, rubbing her cheek against it.

I walked up to them, and they all instantly stepped away from me. Two of them had angry expressions, two had fearful expressions and the last two had curious ones.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

They gasped with wide eyes, not saying a thing.

"Let me guess, you didn't think I would be able to talk?"

They nodded.

"Well let me introduce myself. I am Arceus, God and Creator of the Pokémon universe. What are your names?"

The purple skinned one stepped forward. "My name is Twilight Sparkle, and these are my friends Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash." She pointed to each one as she announced them.

"Nice to meet you." Looking behind me, I quickly added something on, "Maybe we should check out that crater first." They nodded and followed me.

We reached the edge and looking down into it. At the bottom was another girl, who looked to be crying. I jumped down, and knelt down next to her.

"Why are you so sad, little one?"

She sniffled before replying. "I didn't know there was another way. Now they all see me as a monster."

She broke down crying again. "Dry those tears, little one, for I have a feeling that there will be those who will help you. If you truly wish to redeem yourself."

"Who would possibly want to associate themselves with someone like me?"

"Those that saved you from yourself." I picked her up and brought her to the group of girls from before. "These ones would be willing to show you the true meaning of friendship, if you'd just give them a chance."

They all gave a chorus of 'yeah' and nodded.

A woman with pastel coloured hair approached us with something in her hands.

"I believe this, belongs to you." She said as Twilight bowed. "A true Princess in any world leads not by forcing others to bow before her, but by inspiring others to stand with her." She placed the crown on Twilight's head. "We have all seen that you are capable of just that. I hope you see it too, Princess Twilight."

"I do." Twilight said.

The crowd started cheering for her. Time to be a smart ass.

"What? And no cheering for me?" I asked in a playful tone. "Don't mind little ol' me with how I just defended these girls and held off the Demon long enough for them to get rid of her, leaving in place a clean woman."

The woman from before held up her hand. "We thank you as well, Arceus, for risking your life to defend those who needed it."

"Meh, don't mention it."

I watched a boy walk up to Twilight. "Would now, be a completely awkward time to ask you for that dance?" He asked, extending a hand to her.

Twilight looked up to the sky, and chuckled. "I don't see why not."

We all raced inside the school gym and the DJ started playing a song. Everyone started dancing to the music, and boy let me tell ya. It got CRAZY out there! Twilight was busting out crazy moves left right and centre. Rarity had started a conga line. Applejack was dancing with this guy doing the shuffle. They looked similar as well. Maybe siblings? Anyway, Pinkie was throwing confetti everywhere. Fluttershy was talking! Gasp! The horror! I'm just kidding.

There was also this one guy doing Gangnam Style. I laughed so hard at that. Feeling like messing around, I transformed into what I looked like as a human, but I had a white robe on with grey highlights. There was a golden ring around my midsection, keeping the robe together. I moved to the centre of the stage and stopped the music, opting to play Gangnam Style. I got so many people dancing to that.

Soon, I noticed Twilight and her friends leave. I followed them to make sure they stayed out of trouble. I followed them out the school to in front of the horse statue.

"I guess this is goodbye, isn't it?" Twilight asked. "I know we haven't known each other for very long, but I know that I will never forget the friendships I've made with you girls."

I took this moment to step out from hiding.

"What about me?" I asked. They all whirled around when they heard my voice, and slightly relaxed when they saw who it was.

"Right, sorry about that Arceus." Twilight said.

I shrugged. "No problem."

"I need to return home now, goodbye everyone." With that, Twilight stepped through the statue.

"Let me guess, she was actually a pony princess and she came here to find her missing element stolen from her by Sunset Shimmer. She made friends with Fluttershy first, and continued on to run as Princess for the Fall Formal. She then met you, Applejack and Pinkie Pie, and rushed off. Sunset managed to get footage of her making a fool of herself and posted it online. Rarity then dragged her and Spike in a classroom and proceeded to give her a disguise. It didn't work and the other three I mentioned earlier found her. Twilight then met up with Rainbow Dash, versed her in soccer, lost and you all helped her get everyone's votes. She was almost taken out of the bill but Flash Sentry saved her and she then rushed back to Rarity's boutique. You all pitched in to clean up the gym after it got trashed and beat Sunset in the vote. Sunset stole the crown and turned into that raging Demon and tried to take over Equestria with a teenage army. I then showed up and beat her ass. Is that right?"

"How did you know?" They all asked.

"Just a hunch."

"Huh, that's what I said when I made a prediction like that!" Pinkie exclaimed.

I waved Sunset over from the entrance. She came over warily. "Yes?" She asked.

"Do you want help fixing that?" I asked.

"No thanks. I'll take it alone as punishment." She sighed.

"Fair enough." I turned to the girls once more.

"Just one question; where the fuck am I?"
