The Return of Midnight Sparkle

Chapter 11.

                               Rainbow Dash confides to Applejack.

Rainbow sat on a bed inside Applejack's bedroom waiting for her girlfriend to get back to her. The farm girl had asked her blue skinned spunky girl friend to wait in her room while she went to give her phone to Princess Celestia. Looking around the room Rainbow could see all the photos that she and Applejack took over the last few months that she had been living with the Apple family. There was one of her and the Apple family at a picnic and one of her and Applejack getting down and very dirty in the pig pen. There was the one of her learning to ride a horse for the first time. As Rainbow eyed that photo she said to herself with a light chuckle to her voice.

“Yeah that one didn’t over very well.”

A soft knock came at the door as Rainbow looked at the photo then turned her head towards the door and said gently.

“It’s open Applejack.”

Applejack slowly opened the door to her room then stepped inside. She walked up to the bed and climbed on then laid against the bed board motioning Rainbow to join her. Rainbow did so and as the two of them got comfortable. Applejack placed her right hand on her girlfriend's shoulder and slowly rubbed her shoulder up and down to comfort her before their talk was to begin. Saying to her as she slowly massage her shoulder.

“Sugar cube are you willing to tell me what happened to you before I found you at the supermarket that day I ran into you six months ago?”

Rainbow sighed heavily to herself as she nestled against Applejack’s body. Applejack's body felt pleasant and warm against Rainbows body. She slowly moved her head and placed her head onto Applejack's chest listening to her girlfriends heart beat. The thumping rhythmic sound that echoed from Applejack's heart was soothing to Rainbow as she laid there in the bed against her girlfriend's body. Rainbow again sighed before saying to Applejack.

“It was five months ago when you found me living on the streets of Canter lot City. I had gotten into yet another stupid fight with both,Twilight and Sunset. It was over something so very stupid that I don’t even recall what we had fought over that day. I do however recall saying some very hurtful things either too or about Twilight I don’t really recall which way it was though.” Rainbow said as she laid against Applejack's chest listening to her heart beat steadily in her chest.

Applejack stroked her girlfriends hair gently and softly said to her while they both laid there in the bed together.

“So they kicked you out? Why didn’t you come to me? Or to Fluttershy? Or even go to Rarity of all people?”

Moving slighting to get more comfortable Rainbow sighed again then spoke almost as if she didn’t really care about the question itself.

“I did go to Fluttershy,yet she wouldn’t even give me the chance to explain myself. I got to her home and she told me to leave.” Rainbow said still lying on Applejack’s chest listening to her heart beat.

“I see but, you could have at least come to me or to Rarity.” Applejack tried to explain to her girlfriend.

“No I couldn’t honey you see I knew then and there that I had really screwed up with Sunset and with Twilight. I couldn’t or be it I didn’t want to take the chance of hurting you or anyone else like that. So when the money ran out from my savings account and I wasn’t able to get a job that is when I wound up on the streets.”

“I see, But; I still don’t see why you never came to me or why you didn’t seek out help from Rarity. I am sure with one of us by your side you could have become a much better person.” Applejack said as she stopped stroking Rainbows hair and moved her hands to the back of Rainbows neck.

Rainbow noticed this and said to Applejack.

“Hey I thought we were suppose to be having a talk here not for playing to have sex. Although I wouldn’t mind…tearing your clothing off and doing you till you passed out.” Rainbow said with a slight grin on her face as she continued to lay on Applejack's chest.

Applejack just grinned at the thought of ripping off Rainbow’s clothing. And completely having her way with her girlfriend until they both completely passed out in each other's arms. But, this was neither the time nor the place for sex. As Applejack wanted to know what had caused her girlfriend to attack her in the stable and what was really going on with Rainbow that day. Softly laying her hand back onto Rainbow’s shoulder Applejack said to her while Rainbow still laid on her chest.

“I understand honey that you can at times be ah’might stubborn and at times you can be a bit foolish. But was pride really the reason you didn’t want to come see me or Rarity that day that you got kicked out of Sunset's and Twilight's home?”

“No it wasn’t the only reason honey, but, you are not going to like my actual reason for not showing up at your door with my uh tail between my legs begging for help.”

Applejack thought for a moment then looked down at her girlfriend who was now gently rubbing her fingers on Applejack's stomach. As Applejack looked at her girlfriend she said to her.

“What was the actual reason sweetie cube?”

“I….I was already in….love with you. I didn’t want to become a burden to you like I was with Sunset and Twilight.”

Applejack's eyes nearly popped out of her skull when she heard that. She couldn’t believe not for one mere moment that her girlfriend of the past five months would be so foolish not to accept help from her. Especially over of all things love. Exclaiming out as she pulled Rainbow into a tight embrace nearly choking the life out of the young athlete as she sat up right in the bed.

“RAINBOW DASH YOU ARE TELLING ME THAT, THAT THE REAL REASON YOU DIDN’T COME TO ME IS BECAUSE YOU WERE ALREADY IN LOVE WITH ME!”  Applejack exclaimed as she pulled her girlfriend up into a sitting position.

Although Applejack was happy to hear that Rainbow Dash was already in love with her before all this took place. It still didn’t excuse the fact that Rainbow let pride get in the way of her asking for help. Rainbow almost choked on the tight embrace as Applejack sat up on the bed. Rainbow tried to push away from her girlfriend so that she didn’t have to feel the loving embrace she was getting from her. As tears slowly began to leak from her eyes and trickle down her cheeks she shot back with a sharp.

Yes damn-it I was already in love with you Applejack I couldn’t bring myself to come here and expect you to take me in. Not after what I said during my fight with Sunset and Twilight.”

Looking at Applejack as more tears fell from her face Rainbow lost it and screamed out at her girlfriend.

“YOU SEE I AM ALREADY A DAMN BURDEN TO YOU! HOW CAN YOU EVEN STAND TO LOOK AT ME? I AM NOTHING BUT TRASH THAT WAS GOOD FOR NOTHING OTHER THAN BEING RAPED!!!” Rainbow screamed out as the tears began to flow down her blue cheeks.

Applejack sat there for a moment not sure what to do. She reached out grabbed her girlfriend by the shoulders and pulled her into a loving embrace saying sternly to her.

“Rainbow Dash! You listen and you listen good to me you hear.This talk of you being trash is ah’going to stop right now! You are NOT I fully repeat ARE. NOT. TRASH. Do you fully understand me. I swear to you IF I ever hear you talk that way about yourself again I’LL…..I'LL….I don’t know what I would do. But I can ah’tell you that you won’t like it. So stop it right now! You are not trash and you didn’t deserve to be raped!” Applejack said as pulled Rainbow fully into a tight embrace holding on to her by her back and waist.

Rainbow didn’t fight when her body fell against her girlfriend's body and let herself be tightly hugged saying to Applejack as she held her against her body. Saying to Applejack as she held her in her arms.

“I was so jealous of their love for each other. I NEVER thought it would lead to so many fights with them. Or with me calling Twilight of all people a whore.” Rainbow said as she grabbed onto Applejack’s waist and buried her face into her shoulder fully sobbing.

Applejack said to her as she held her girlfriend in her arms slowly beginning to rock her back and forth in an attempt to calm her down.

“Honey I want you to know that I can stand looking at you because….because I love you damn-it. I want you to know as well that I don’t just want to be with but that I need to be with you. I will never kick you out no matter how bad things get between us.” Applejack said while running her fingers through Rainbows hair and rubbing her back trying to calm her down.

Rainbow hearing this coming from her girlfriend hugged her tightly as she said to her.

“I can still recall the stench of alcohol on his breath as he pushed me into the ground. Placing a knife into my stomach while he rapped me all the while laughing as he did it.” Rainbow said through sobs.

“There, there honey. He can’t hurt you like that anymore. Shh I am here, shhh.” Applejack said as she rubbed Rainbow’s back with her hands.

“I can still feel his hands on me as he spread my legs open and put that knife to my throat telling me to be a good girl. Not to scream or he would slice me up if I didn’t do as instructed.” Rainbow said while trying to control her sobbing.

Applejack held her against her shoulder and said while listening to Rainbow cry out her pain.

“Honey you go ahead and cry, no need to hold it back any longer. You just let it out and I will be here to hold you while you do so honey.” Applejack said as she held onto Rainbow Dash letting her cry into her shoulder.

Hearing this Rainbow couldn’t take it any more and fully let herself loose into Applejack's shoulder. As she cried out in pain Rainbow said the one thing that Applejack never thought her girl friend would actually want to do.

“I want to kill myself for what he did to me.” Rainbow cried out in anger and pain as her body began to shake while being held by Applejack’s powerful arms.

Applejack couldn’t take hearing that her girlfriend wanted to actually kill herself over this. She knew that things had been bad for the Rainbow haired girl crying on her shoulder. Yet she had no idea whatsoever that her girlfriend had wanted to actually die from what was done to her.Without thinking about it she pushed Rainbow up so that her face was facing hers. Raised her hand and slapped Rainbow across the mouth. The blow was hard enough to knock her over and off the bed. As Rainbow got up and ran to the door. Applejack being much closer to the bedroom door was able to get off the bed quicker. Applejack got to the door first and slammed her hand against the bedroom door effectively stopping her girlfriend from leaving the room. Rainbow said nothing as she was lead back to the bed in utter defeat with her head hanging low she heard Applejack yell at her.

“HOW DARE YOU SAY YOU WANT TO KILL YOURSELF RAINBOW DASH! I FUCKING LOVE YOU! FOR CHRIST SAKE WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME ABOUT WANTING TO DO THIS SOONER? I COULD HAVE HELPED YOU!”

Rainbow sat on the bed and sniffed while saying as she held herself by the sides of her waist and front of her stomach.

“I don’t like going to people with my problems! I am nothing but a burden to you! Nothing less! Nothing more…... I hate….. myself for what I allowed to happen to me.” Rainbow is both disgust and anger towards what happened to herself.

Applejack climbed back onto the bed placing both hands over Rainbow’s shoulders. Gently letting the Rainbow haired girl fall into her as she started to cry again. Saying softly to her while she held her in her arms.

“I am so sorry that I slapped you Rainbow Dash. However you don’t go to just people with your problems you go to your friends with your problems and you work together to fix your problems.”

Rainbow held onto the Applejack as she let herself cry again saying softly through sniffing and falling tears.

“You don’t always remember that Applejack. And you don’t understand. I didn’t just want to kill myself over this. I wanted to kill him for this. I went back after I was able to get away from him and found the knife that he used on me. I had wanted so badly to kill myself right then and there but, I also wanted him to pay for this. I have not been able to get past this not while I know he is still out there doing the same to someone else.”

“Wait are you telling me the knife I took away from you when we were in the stables together was actually the same one used on you that day he did this to you?” Asked Applejack as relaxation began to set in from Rainbow’s statement.

“Yes it is the same one. How else do you think someone living on the streets could buy a knife like that?” Rainbow said as she tightly hugged Applejack around the waist.

Applejack didn’t say anything at this. She held onto Rainbow hoping that if she didn’t let go of her it would somehow simply get rid of all of Rainbows pain and anger. Even though in her heart she knew that it wouldn’t. As the two of them sat on the bed holding each other while Rainbow cried into Applejack's shoulder. Rainbow said while crying.

“I wanted to make him suffer for what he did too me. So I started looking for him but I never found him. I ate out of trash cans and dumpsters, slept in either cardboard boxes or abandoned buildings that I was able to break into. All while I was hoping so very much hoping to find him and end him for what he did to me.”

“And how do you feel now that you are with me and you know I will not let this happen to you again?” Asked Applejack who was secretly praying that Rainbow would just give up this quest for revenge against her attacker.

Rainbow at first said nothing she held onto Applejack and prayed silently she could give her the answer that her girlfriend wanted to hear and would be able to fully accept.

“I still want him to pay for this, But; as long as I have you in my corner and I know you love me and won’t ever leave me I don’t want to kill him or myself for that matter.” Rainbow said as she pulled out of the embrace she and Applejack had been sharing.

Looking right into Rainbows eyes Applejack said to her.

“Good I am very glad to hear this. However I do fully feel that some therapy with someone who can help you work out your feelings can do you a world of good.”

Rainbow thought about this for a second then looked down at the floor before almost whispering.

“Only if you are there to walk into that room with me and you stay there with me during the whole process. If you do that for me I will go get actual therapy including anger management.” Rainbow said as she slowly stood off the bed and began to walk over to the bedroom door.

“Honey I will sit in hell for you now and always. Don’t you ever forget that. Now as for that knife of yours. Which is more than likely back in the stables on the floor some were. I feel that you shouldn’t be carrying that thing around with you any more. So I will go and get it While you wait in the living room with Celestia.” Applejack said as she too slowly got off the bed and walked over to where Rainbow Dash was standing.

Rainbow said nothing as she reached for the door handle to walk back out into the living room. As her hand took a hold of the door handle a ringing could be heard coming from the living room. Rainbow recognized it as Applejack's ring tone and looked at her then back at the door before opening the door to walk into the living room. Applejack following Rainbow into the hallway said to Rainbow as they walked out of the bedroom together.

“I gave Celestia my phone in case one of the others called and I think they just did.”

“I hope it is good news that they are calling about we could sure use some right about now.” Rainbow said as the pair made their way to the living room where Celestia was waiting for them.

Celestia looked at them after she slid her finger over the green button and held the phone to her ear. Then handing it to Applejack who took the phone looked at it then hung it up and stuffed it into her pocket. Rainbow looked from one to the other before saying to both of them.

“Was it them? Did they find Twilight? Is she O.K.?

“We need to go to the school and no Rainbow I do not know if your worlds Twilight is alright or not. Only that they need us at the school right away.” Princess Celestia stated as she looked at both of them.

“Alright then let’s go and save our friend from this nightmare.” Rainbow said she she headed for the door.

Rainbow was outside in a matter of seconds while Applejack and Celestia both looked at each. Each hoping that this nightmare would end with victory instead of defeat. Celestia and Applejack made their way to the front and as they got outside Celestia looked at the two of her friends before asking both of them.

“I have a question for you both.” Celestia asked as she looked at both Applejack and Rainbow dash.

“Yes princess what can we answer for you?” Applejack replied as she stared at Princess Celestia wondering what was about to happen.

Looking from Rainbow Dash to Applejack and back again Celestia grinned before asking both of them.

“Have either of you two ever been teleported before?” Princess Celestia said with a bit of a grin on her face.
