Tome of the Searching Flame Act 3 New Power
Previous ChapterNext ChapterLeara went back in the TARDIS to rest. She laid her head on a bed her horn felt odd but she blew it off. The feeling got worse till finally she opened her eyes and when she did she was in another dimension, but there was a feeling of welcome she felt like she belonged there. She examined herself. Her horn had a slight glow to it and her cutie mark was glowing. She started to relax and before she knew it she was back in the TARDIS with Dakota looking worried.
“Leara, where’d you go? I was worried!” He said his voice was filled with worry.
“I was in another dimension I don’t know how though.” Leara responded just as worried. Dakota thought for a moment. He grabbed Leara and took her to the med bay. She was confused by the reaction.
“Nothing but there is another way to figure this out, but you need to trust me first.” Dakota said with a serious tone.
“Well what do you need?” She asked. Dakota sighed.
“I need your stem cells.” He said. Leara thought. She lay down in a dissecting position and smiled weakly.
“I trust you. I gave your life after all.” Leara said still holding the weak smile. Dakota smiled and held a syringe.
“Everything will be fine.” He said with a weak smile. Leara began to slip away until she saw black. She woke up and Dakota was inspecting her stem cell. She smiled and attempted to get up. Pain shot all throughout her body. She collapsed on the table with a loud thud. Dakota galloped to her side.
“Leara, are you okay?” He asked trying to help Leara.
“Ah…Oh…Ow, I’ve been better.” She said quivering. Dakota flew her to her to her room to rest. Leara cringed. Dakota was as delicate with her as if she were a snowflake.
“Stay here and rest, your wounds haven’t healed completely healed yet.” He explained. Leara nodded.
“I did find out what it was though. You have the power to travel and create dimensions.” Dakota added.
“G…Good to know. Thanks D…Dakota.” Leara said her voice quivering. Dakota tucked her in and kissing her on the forehead.
“Thank you for giving me life…Mom.” Dakota said tenderly. Leara smiled.
“You’re welcome my son.” She said. Dakota stroked her mane as Leara drifted off to sleep.
