“How did this all happen?” Leara asked.

“Well the princesses disappeared. It’s been a long year.” Sweetie said.

“You’ve been like this for a year!?” Leara asked in shock.

“Yep Princess Twilight Sparkle tries, but she’s still young. My family has to be careful not to eat too much so we can feed the others.” Sweetie responded.

“Where are you from? Your accent sounds more city than country.” Leara probed.

“Yeah I had a feeling you’d notice. I’m from Manehatten. I came here to offer some extra hooves. My cutie mark is in gardening, so I thought I’d help.” Sweetie explained.

“What is the war?” Leara asked.

“I don’t know nor do I care to know. I just want to help the people affected by it. Go ask Twilight if you want that kind of info.” Sweetie said.

“I want to help too.” Leara said.

“It’s strange to see a Timelord wanting to help.” Sweetie said with a smile.

“How did you know…?” Leara was cut off.

“Your name and your cutie mark gave it away.” Sweetie responded.

“Oh okay.” Leara said. Dakota stepped forward.

“Thank you for your time Sweetie we’ll be on our way.” He said. Sweetie smiled.

“You’re welcome glad to help.” Sweetie smiled. Dakota started to walk off.

“Hey, where did you get all that mech?” Sweetie yelled. Dakota stopped then turned around.

“Why do you want to know?” He asked.

“I’m just curious.” Sweetie responded. Dakota smiled.

“Leara made them.” He answered. Sweetie’s eyes grew large as she stared at Leara. Leara gave a shy look back. Dakota showed Sweetie all his mech equipment and explained how they worked. Sweetie grew more and more impressed.

“How did she manage to achieve this?” Sweetie asked about to burst. Leara and Dakota’s smile disappeared. If they told her or anyone they might be looked at like Dr. Frankenstein and his monster. Leara and Dakota shrugged.

“It’s a secret.” Leara said. Sweetie looked like a pouty child. Dakota put his mech hoof over Sweetie’s shoulder.

“Some things need to be a secret.” Dakota explained. Sweetie smiled and nodded.

“You know you can come with us if you want to.” Leara suggested. Sweetie’s smile grew.

“R…Really you mean it?” She asked. Dakota smiled.

“Yeah why not come with us?” Dakota said. Sweetie gave Leara a hug. Sweetie ran off to gather her things, and the adventure continues.
