I see nothing but darkness, but that is far from what I fear I may deserve. I have to tell my story, even if I am alone. I need to make sure I never forget what I have done. I thought I was fixing the problem, but it seems I lost. Did I really destroy everything, or am I just a lost shadow in a sea of darkness? I have to tell my story, but where do I begin? Starting from the beginning will take too long, and I may forget the lives I destroyed. Starting from the end will leave so many questions. I know where to start. I should start with them. Those six ponies that led me to end everything, even though it is not their fault. If I never met them this probably wouldn't have happened though. I'm getting off track. I can feel myself forgetting. I must start now. I am Shadow, and this is what I have done.

Side note: I do occasionally go back and edit chapters.
