Lightning Dust's Ascent into Alicornhood

Lightning Dust sat down on her bed, opened Wings to the Sky, and then she realized it was an autobiography. Useless book was useless. She opened up another book, Analysis of Unicornia, by somepony whose name she couldn't pronounce. It was a spellbook. Also useless.  Soon enough, Lightning found out that most of her books were useless. She was left with three books: Grace of the Horn, Sound of Magic, and a book called Magicae Studiis. She opened up Grace of the Horn, which turned out to be a unicorn history book, and Sound of Magic was a fiction book. So, this left Magicae Studiis. Of course, Lightning Dust thought, this must be the magical Book-Guffin I was waiting for! She was wrong. It was all in a different language she couldn't read. "I'll find out myself! THIS must be my MacGuffin!".  Gosh, I hope she's right.
