Lightning Dust's Ascent into Alicornhood

Meanwhile, at Canterlot Castle.......

       Celestia opened up her bag of non-friendship-letter letters. At the top was a scroll in a small flower vase. "Dear Princesses, I have a horn and pegasi aren't supposed to have horns but I have one and I don't know why please help. ~Lightning Dust"   Celestia was confused. "That's right, pegasi aren't supposed to have unicorn horns." she said, ignoring Lightning's run-on sentence. "Magic book summon!" she semi-quietly yelled, casting a magic-book summoning spell. The magical book crashed into the room at that moment, landing neatly on Celestia's throne-side table (which had cupholders). "Magic book...Open!" said the princess, and the book opened. "Magic book, away." she said, and the book did so. "LUNA!" Celestia yelled, "What is 'Spontaneous Alicorn Phenomenon'?" Luna walked in. "Spontaneous Alicorn Phenomenon," said the dark blue alicorn princess, "Is when a non-alicorn pony randomly turns into an alicorn." "I already knew that, Luna." Celestia said to her sister. "I wanted to know what the lasting effects are." "Oh." replied Luna. "Well, I don't know all of it at the moment, but I think it eventually turns the phenomenonee into a proper alicorn. Oh, yes, now I remember! It grants the phenomenonee full alicorn ability. Sister, why are you frowning like that? Were the cupholders a bad idea?" Celestia looked up from her throne-table and said, "No, the cupholders are really great. It's just that I got a letter from Lightning Dust of Cloudsdale, and I believe she experienced the phenomenon you just explained."  "I will contact her at once." said Luna, who made an ink quill, and paper appear by her side. "Great idea." replied Celestia. 'I will look more into this Spontaneous Alicorn Phenomenon."  As soon as Luna got into the royal library, she set to work writing a letter to Lightning Dust.
