Six had managed to avoid the conversation the three immortals were having, it wasn’t easy to do as the conversation continued three days later. He had however, and now sat on a cliff looking into the night sky, and thinking on his past life as Jacen Reed. His first notable memory was his parents telling him he was adopted. His parents had made his life miserable after they found out he was trans-bi. Just thinking of them made him wince at the painful memories. Six was brought out of his train of thought by a card striking him in the back of the head hard enough to embed itself in his exoskeleton, but not go deep enough to draw forth his acidic blood. He pulled it out and looked at it, it had a pink ranger, with black lines all over the face, and big green eyes, a message played in his mind when he grabbed it.
“I am the passing through Kamen Rider. If you ever need a helping hand, just hold this card up, and call for Decade.”
'A token' Six thought to himself 'alright Decade, just let me prepare for your arrival'. With that he went off to his room in the castle, grabbing poster board paper he had collected for just this occasion. He scarfed down some food in the castle kitchen to turn into goo, for writing, and took off for the old castle. He was faster than the train by a large margin, getting to Ponyville only took a few minutes, around 10, plus another 20 to get to the castle of the two sisters, but most of that was finding it, they were never clear on location in the show.
He wrote up a few signs with basic bits of conversation peices. Then held up the card and in the “native” language of xenomorphs hissed “Decade”. Causing a large hole to rip itself in the multiverse and for a portal to appear before six.
Six stared at the human that came through the portal. It stared back, it’s eyes bugging out of its head. ‘Don't do it’ he thought ‘look at the signs’.
“Holy shit!” the human cried as he stepped through the portal, his eyes bugging out in fear. “It’s a xenomorph! And I’m without a power loader!”
‘Fucking of course, the signs jackass,’ Six thought hissing in annoyance. ‘Also, that joke was bad and you should feel bad’.
“Oh no, I am not becoming xenomorph chow,” the human replied, a strange device that resembled a belt buckle appearing in his hand. “I may not have a power loader, but I’ve got the next best thing.” Placing the device to his waist, a belt formed around him.
‘Oh shitty fuck, ok what do I do? Oh I know,’ Six thought, attempting a friendly screech, just sounding like an alien noise. ‘I foresee this ending in pain.’
Another device appeared at the human’s side and he pulled something out of it. “Henshin!” Inserting a card into the belt buckle, he pushed the handles on its side together.
“Kamen Ride: Decade!” A disembodied voice called out, and the human was surrounded by grey silhouettes before armor formed around him. Fuschia was the main color of the armor with black at the center of the chest. A white “X” went from the left shoulder and down to the side of his waist. The helmet had no mouth portion, but it had black ridges along it that stuck up and were only interrupted by two large green eyes.
‘OH FUCK A POWER RANGER, THIS IS GONNA HURT,’ Six thought baking up in surprise. “Please don’t kill me, I like life, true death is temporary, but I don’t like it,’ he thought, letting out a threatening hiss that merged into a shriek, hoping to scare him off.
Instead of letting out a girly scream and running away like Six had wanted, he pulled the card case off his side and unfolded it into a gun.
‘OH SHIT BRACE FOR IMPACT!’ bracing himself the best he could. Putting his tail in front of him and summoning a shield from his newly acquired magic. ‘Thank you necromancer unicorn.’
“What the?” the human questioned, firing a few shots that the shield withstood. “A xenomorph with magic?” Pausing for a moment, he seemed to come to a realization. “You must’ve been born from a pony host!”
‘The horn like spikes along my head didn’t give that away’ shield faltering from his concentration breaking. ‘Fuck. Mental note: have Tia give me magic lessons’.
The armored human opened his card case again and pulled out another card. “Alright, maybe I should fight fire with fire.”
‘Please don’t,’ Six thought, ‘fire makes xenomorphs explode.’
“Displaced Ride: Magic Eyes Mage!” The human’s armor changed as greyed out silhouettes converged on him.
‘Now is my chance,’ Six thought, fleeing deeper into the crumbling castle. He wanted this human to follow him to the darkest room of the castle, so he didn’t go full speed. He found a pitch black room with a ceiling and no windows, and crawled up into a corner on the ceiling to wait. The human came into the room, taking note of the lack of light. Instead of walking further into the room, he pulled a card from his case and inserted it into his belt.
“Attack Ride: Magelight!” An orb of light appeared at the tip of a staff that Six finally noticed the human was holding and it floated into the center of the room. Six tried getting closer to the corner he was in hoping to avoid the light, it did not help in the least. Six had a thought and took off for the door at top speed, dodging past the human and slowing down so he would follow, leading him back to the main room. As he reached his destination he quickly put up the first sign he had made which read “I’m a displaced”.
The human ran after Six, coming into the main room with his staff in hand before pausing at the sight of the sign. “Wait a second, so you’re the Displaced that summoned me?” Lowering his staff, he looked over Six.
Six held up a sign that said, “Yes” still ready for a fight should the human not believe the words of a highly intelligent xenomorph, which was highly unlikely.
The human pulled the handles apart on his belt, his armor disappearing in a flash of gray silhouettes. “Alright, it does make sense. I haven’t seen any signs of a dead body while running around the castle. Sorry for attacking you.”
Six puked up some of the black stuff used to make hives, and used it to write, “I’m a six foot lizard bug thing, genetically built by a robot to kill everything. I expected you to attack, the names Jacen but I go by Six now”.
The human groaned rubbing the side of his head. “I don’t know what’s grosser, the way you made that message, or the fact that Prometheus is canon in this universe.” Shaking his head, he added. “Anyway, my name’s Wyatt, I got displaced as Kamen Rider Decade. Nice to meet you, Six.”
Six wrote another message on the back of a “no” sign, turning the new message to Wyatt. “Same, you called yourself a Kaimin Rider, is your zord a Kaimin, cause that would be cool, I always wanted to see a ranger with a modern day reptile zord.”
Wyatt facepalmed, a small groan passing through his lips. “No, not Kaimin, Ka-men. Kamen Rider is older than Power Rangers and even predates the Super Sentai franchise that Power Rangers get its footage from. I’m Kamen Rider Decade, named after the fact that it was the tenth Rider series in the Heisei era. I have the abilities of the nine other riders of the era that I call upon through cards.” He summoned his belt buckle and card case and put them on his waist. “And that’s not all, I have an added ability from the original Decade. I’m able to turn into a Rider version of any Displaced that I meet.” Opening his case he looked through it until he found a particular card. “And that includes you now, Six.” He quickly donned the original armor he had worn before inserting the new card.
“Displaced Ride: Six!” Silhouettes converged on him once more and jet black armor appeared on him. There were no eyes on the helmet, leaving Wyatt blind. Various ridges were on the armor, creating odd segments in it that centered around the joints. The chest had a disturbing rib cage design that matched that of a xenomorph and a pointed tail was wrapped around his waist above his belt. The final touch on the armor were four tube-like protrusions on the back that seemed to serve no real offensive or defensive purpose.
“Awesome,” Six hissed going to grab a sign but (somehow) getting a weird look form Wyatt.
“Seems I’ve discovered an ability of this form already,” Wyatt commented. “I can understand xenomorphs.”
“FINALLY!” Six Screeched, “I can actually talk to someone, you have no idea how refreshing that is. The only others who understand me are the princesses, and that’s only because of a mental link that my quee… Celestia, put into place.”
Wyatt chuckled, rubbing the side of his head. “Glad you mentioned the mental link thing, I had this image of xenomorph versions of Celestia, Luna and Cadance for a second there. It wasn’t pretty.”
“Bad Wyatt” Six remarked. “Anyway I haven’t met Cadance yet, but what are Celestia and Luna like where you come from? Here they are very regal in public, but in fact the guard doesn’t follow them to keep them safe, Its to prevent the royal perverts from traumatizing their citizens.”
“Wait a minute, Celestia and Luna are closet perverts in this universe?” Wyatt asked, blinking owlishly beneath his helmet. “They’re not like that in my world as far as I know. They do show regality in public, but they’re more relaxed when among friends. I uh, don’t have to worry about them hitting on me, do I?” he continued, rubbing the back of his head.
“That is entirely dependent on if you meet them, they hit on me, and I’m a bug lizard thing,” Six responded, shuddering a little at some memories of what they had said over the years.
“Hey, some people are into xenomorphs,” Wyatt replied, chuckling. “I don’t get it, but hey, everyone’s got their thing. So uh, can we leave the broken castle or is this where you call home?”
“I’m here because ponies in Canterlot are speciesist, and in Ponyville they scare easily, so I decided that opening a portal to another universe and pulling a random creature though would be best done in the Everfree. We can head to Ponyville now though, I was only worried about how they would react to the portal,” He said gesturing out the door, “lets see if you can keep up in that suit.”
“You wanna race?” Wyatt questioned, using his memory to look toward the door. “That hardly seems fa- 3,2,1, go!” he shouted, bolting for the door.
“You cheating shit,” Six hissed back, taking off after him at top speed gaining on him steadily, “finish line is the edge of the forest.”
“Got it, slowpoke!” Wyatt called back, barely managing to avoid the rubble on the floor of the desecrated castle as he ran to the exit. Despite not being able to see, his other senses had been given a boost, allowing him to get an idea of his surroundings through smell and sound.
“Slow?” Six asked, passing Wyatt as they sped through the ruins and out into the trees of the forest. “Who just passed who?”.
Smirking beneath his helmet, Wyatt unwrapped the tail from his waist and snaked it out to grab Six’s ankle. As the Xenomorph fell, Wyatt pulled his tail back and passed the alien. “That’d be me you phallic freak.”
“So that's how you wanna play this?!” Six shrieked, taking off after the human. He used his tail to cut a large chunk of wood from a tree as he ran past, throwing it at the back of Wyatt’s legs to trip him up. “And I may look like a dildo, but at least I’m not stuck as something that got outdone by a ripoff!” Six said, he and Wyatt now neck and neck.
Picking himself up, Wyatt chased after the alien and dodged tree roots. “That’s a low blow. And it was only outdone in the states, the franchise is going on strong in Japan.” Grabbing a thick branch, he pulled it and let it spring into Six’s back.
Six got up as fast as he fell, running at top speed, he got close to Wyatt and jumped over him, continuing his mad dash as he hit the ground, now in the lead, letting out a sound not entirely unlike a laugh, “I’m winning again,” he called back, “eat my dust.”
Wyatt found the energy to put on a burst of speed and pulled up alongside the Xenomorph. “Nah, I’m allergic to that stuff.”
“Oh really, well that's unfortunate, well, for you at least,” Six said, using his tail to strike the ground in front of Wyatt with all the strength he could, kicking up a cloud of dust and dirt.
Wyatt’s sense of smell was thrown off, nearly causing him to topple over. With a sneeze, he continued to run blind, brushing against branches every now and then. Six took notice of Wyatt’s seeming impairment and started bumping into him in an attempt to move him over. The pair approached the edge of the forest light filtering between the trees at the end. The race seemed it would end in a tie, only for Wyatt to crash into a tree meer feet from the edge, allowing Six to win.
“Ugh, you got lucky,” Wyatt said, his head spinning slightly as he pulled himself to his feet.
“Oh definitely, you are clearly matching me in speed, If that holds true with strength as well, then you can tear down a pressurized reinforced steel door” Six said as he started walking towards Ponyville, “just a heads up, the ponies are pretty much human aside from the horns and wings and skin color, cutie marks too I think.”
“Huh, that’s a bit different from my world. The ponies of my world are bipedal too, but they have fur, hooves, tails and all that stuff. Might be interesting to see what Twilight looks like here.”
“Oh, does someone have a crush, also you’d need to convince her to take that mage’s robe off, no clue why she would wear it, looks so impractical.”
“Crush?” Wyatt repeated with a chuckle. “Nope, I’m dating Twilight in my world. As for the mage robe thing, probably has something to do with her obsession with Starswirl.”
“Probably, also, lucky you, love is pretty much out of the question for me, at least until The Canterlot Wedding Events. If I die, then a facehugger spawns from my body and infects something, then I wake up inside someone's chest, that's how I got the magic.”
“Wait, putting aside how gross that sequence of events is aside, how do you know about the wedding invasion if it hasn’t happened yet?” Wyatt questioned, regarding Six with utter confusion beneath his helmet.
“HOLY SHIT YOU DON’T KNOW!” Six took a breath, “Ok so in most earth universes, the worlds we wound up in is a T.V. show about magic talking pastel ponies. It was called My Little Pony; Friendship is Magic and it was my favorite cartoon”.
Wyatt scratched the side of his head, trying to digest the information. “That’s really weird. But I guess it isn’t totally out of the question seeing as I have powers from a fictional TV show.”
“There was also a fanfiction website called Fimfiction, that's how I know about the displaced, despite you being the first I’ve met.”
“Okay, that’s really weird,” Wyatt replied, crossing his arms over his chest. “And that’s saying something. After being in Equestria so long and fighting Starfish Hitler, it takes a lot to set off my weird-dar.”
“Starfish Hitler… The. Actual. Fuck.”
“Yeah, that’s an enemy from the original Kamen Rider,” Wyatt explained. “1970’s Japan was a weird place.”
“Now Japan is a weird place, have you used Google Earth, there is a street in Japan where people in pigeon masks are watching the camera,” Six said, mentally cringing at when he stumbled across it.
“Fair enough,” Wyatt relented. “Anyway, shall we head into town? I kinda wanna see these human ponies.”
“Alright, just don’t expect me to give you a tour, I don’t come here often,” Six said as they walked in town. “Part of that is being bound to Tia, the other is wanting to avoid Twilight and Pinkie.”
“Why would you want to avoid Twilight and Pinkie?” Wyatt questioned, removing his armor in a flash of gray silhouettes, for a moment to take a look at the town. It looked just like his version of Ponyville, except it was populated by multicolored humans. He almost considered a five-year-old went crazy with the crayons in this world until he saw his first pair of wings and horn. “Those two are great,” he said as he put his armor on again.
“I know, but Pinkie’s fuckery with reality concerns me and I don’t want to answer a million questions about Xenomorphs and my earth for Twilight, I know I’ll have to do it eventually, but I’m not excited about it,” Six said, neither him nor Wyatt aware of a pink mare tailing them slowly through town.
“Sounds like you need to suck it up and take your lumps,” Wyatt offered, patting Six on the back. “Sure, you might lose a night’s sleep over the barrage of questions and the random tests that pop into Twilight’s head. But once she gets that out of her system, she’ll find other things to nerdgasm over.”
“The real problem is when she asks my gender, or about my parents. I haven’t checked the first for fear of being an IT, and I never met my real parents. My adopted family was absolutely terrible, and stinking rich as fuck so I couldn’t go to the cops. They owned the cops.”
“Wow, sorry you had to deal with something like that before coming to Equestria,” Wyatt offered. “My home life was normal so I can’t say I relate exactly, but I sympathize. As for the gender thing, I’m no expert on that topic. However, I think that despite whatever changes your physical body has gone through, you’re still you within your mind.”
“You’re right on that mark, I don’t feel different, and I don’t care what gender I am, as long as I am one. If I’m male I just need to get the surgery finally, I was trans at home but rich, famous family means that getting a gender switch is a no go.”
“Again, not my area of expertise,” Wyatt said, chuckling weakly and rubbing the back of his head. “But surgery might not be your only option here. Equestrian magic can do some impressive stuff. There might be some way to make you the gender you want; with all the ups and downs that come with it.”
“Sorry, I’m telling you all the creepy shit about me, what was your life like, before you came here?”
“Hey, there was nothing creepy about what you told me,” Wyatt dismissed, waving Six off. “As for me, I wasn’t anyone that impressive. I lived in a small town that was just outside a Navajo reservation. I had a few friends and a photography hobby. Aside from that, I had only just graduated high school before getting Displaced.”
“Sounds pretty boring, but nice, did you get to keep your camera, or get a new one at least, tech is up to date here if not,” Six said looking over at a shop that sold cameras. “You could buy one if you don’t have one, I get a royal stipend so no need to worry about price or accessories.”
“That’s very kind of you,” Wyatt started, grinning beneath his helmet. “But I was displaced with a couple cameras so it’s all good. I actually landed a job as a photographer/reporter for a newspaper back in my Equestria. I sorta cheated seeing as I nabbed exclusive photos of myself as a Kamen Rider to get the job.”
“GET ME PICTURES OF SPIDER-MAN!!!” Six screeched, doubling over in what could almost be considered a fit of laughter.
Wyatt doubled over as well, a giant smile on his face. “The Celestia of my world made the exact same joke. Two guys that got displaced to that world before me showed her Spiderman.”
“Lucky,” Six said, calming down after a minute, “the only one who gets my reference humor here is Pinkie, and again, she scares me.”
“Well, I don’t spend a lot of time around Celestia so most of the time it’s only Pinkie that gets my humor too,” Wyatt explained.
Six opened his mouth to say something, only for the pink mare herself to pop up between them. “Hey Six, Hey… Wyatt? Sorry its been a while since I read your fic” Pinkie said.
“Read my fic?” Wyatt repeated, tilting his head and blinking owlishly.
“Yeah ” she said grinning, “by looking past the fourth wall I can go on Fimfiction and read about other versions of Equestria. You and Six have both joined the ranks of displaced stories on there.”
“Oh god no,” Six said, though only Wyatt could understand.
“Hold on,” Wyatt said, putting a hand up to stop a rant from Six and focused on Pinkie. “So your innate Pinkieness lets you access at least one site on the internet. Have you ever tried to go onto other ones?”
“I have access to every website in the universe this story is written online is,” she said with a mischievous grin. “Naughty ones included.”
Wyatt had to hold back a snicker as he asked, “So what’s your opinion on hentai?”
“Well depends on what kind, joking, I like it all,” she said with a strange giggle.
“Bible Black?” Wyatt pressed, snickering with her.
“I said all of it didn’t I? I’ve probably seen things you haven’t as I don’t need to pay for anything, not actually being on the site in technicality.” Six at this point was looking at Pinkie like she was the biggest perv on the planet.
“Now if only I could hook you up to a TV screen,” Wyatt said with a chuckle. “I’ve missed the internet since coming to Equestria. Hey, maybe Twilight could figure out a way to do it?!”
“You would require Multiversal Internet. If you meet a sys admin you could ask, but my power is limited to breaking the fourth wall. If Twi tried she might break both universes”.
“Not the multiverse!” Wyatt cried, giving an exaggerated gasp. “I keep my stuff there!”
“Is that a reference, I don’t get it,” Six said looking between Pinkie and Wyatt. “Morphy One, explain!” he cried pointing at Wyatt.
“It’s a modified Bender quote,” Wyatt answered, ignoring the nickname. “When he’s told the universe will be destroyed he says basically the same thing.”
“Ah, it’s been over a thousand years since I watched Futurama so I’ve forgotten some of the less memorable things” Six replied
“IJUSTREALISEDNEITHEROFYOUHADAWELCOMETOPONYVILLEPARTY!” And with that, Pinkie was gone.
“Yup, that’s about what I expected from running into Pinkie,” Wyatt said, nodding to himself.
“So fucking random, and where the hell did she go… Her reality warping makes less sense now than it did in the show,” Six said groaning.
“It helps to not question what she does,” Wyatt admitted. “So, shall we continue moving forward?”
“Yeah, where to? I remember a place from the show called Sugarcube Corner, and if what just happened is anything to go by, it’s Pinky’s day off.” Six questioned.
“Hold on, I can find it if I undo this transformation,” Wyatt said, putting his hands on the handles of his belt. “Just means that we won’t be able to talk for a little while.” Pulling the handles apart, the armor around him disappeared and left him standing in his street clothes once again. He took a moment to look at their surroundings before leading Six down a street to their left.
‘Mental note, ask why they keep this building,’ Six thought, hissing at the building made to look like it was made of gingerbread. ‘It looks like a more decorated blowjob drink from the Deadpool movie.’
“Alright, we made it,” Wyatt commented, completely oblivious to Six’s complaints. “Now I can give up my sight again.” In a couple flashes of light, Wyatt was in his Xenomorph armor once more.
“Let's head in, It’s been over a thousand years since I had a donut,” Six said, ignoring the poor design of the building… until they got inside. “Really, the inside too, why does the pastry place need to look like a pastry?”
“It might not be the most conventionally designed building,” Wyatt replied carefully, approaching the counter manned by Mrs. Cake, “but I’ll be damned if I’ve ever eaten better baked goods than from here.”
Mrs. Cake responded faster than Six could. “Why thank you dear, but I don’t remember seeing you before. I saw the dragon thing help save the town, but he… she… it didn’t come in.”
“She has no idea about you,” Six giggled, which sounded like a very quick repetition of short hisses.
Wyatt ignored Six, focusing on Mrs. Cake. “I’d answer your question, Mrs. Cake, but it’d probably be confusing. Suffice it to say, I have been here before. Anyway, I’d like a couple jelly donuts and,” he turned back to Six, “what would you like?”
“Order me two chocolate donuts please,” Six said, barely holding back his excitement.
Nodding, Wyatt turned back to the mare at the counter. “And two chocolate donuts, please.”
“Thank you,” Six said to Wyatt, pulling out the required bits from the wallet spell Celestia had cast on him.
Mrs. Cake thanked them and quickly gave them their treats. Once the donuts were in hand, Wyatt found a seat by the door. Frowning, he realized that he’d need to undo his transformation to eat.
“You going to take your helmet off? Maybe there’s a headphone translator thing in there. Or maybe it’s a mental thing from having the suit on, either way you kind of need to to eat” Six said, taking a bite of a donut with his inner mouth.
“Umm, I can see if I can take the helmet off,” Wyatt said, searching for a means to do so. “Unlike Power Rangers or Sentai, I can’t remember any instance of a Rider taking their helmet off while keeping the rest on.” After some fumbling, he found a switch at the base of his neck and the helmet collapsed into his armor.
“Can you understand me?” Six hissed at Wyatt, hoping he would.
“Coming in loud and clear,” Wyatt assured, giving the xenomorph a thumbs up.
“Ok, so a neat mental thing, though I don’t know how that ability will be useful later on, I can’t imagine you’ll run into many more xenomorphs, much less need to talk to them, still cool though,” Six said, starting on his second donut.
“It helps if I summon you so we can work together better,” Wyatt pointed, taking a bite of his donut. “I can’t tell your various hisses apart otherwise.”
“True, that reminds me, I have to make a token, I was sent here with a necklace that would do the trick, but I don’t know where it went after Discord killed me, he still hasn’t apologised for that,” Six said, gesturing around his neck only to feel a necklace dangling there. “That just appeared right, I’m not going completely insane?”
“Me thinks a certain Spirit of Chaos is responsible for that,” Wyatt commented, continuing to eat his donut.
“Well then, he is forgiven,” Six said, taking the necklace off. He focused on it and said “This is Six, Drone to the princesses and first of the xenomorphs. Summon me, and I will show your enemies what it means to truly fear the dark.”
Wyatt watched Six throw the token towards the wall before it disappeared into the void. “Huh, you do know your stuff about Displaced.” A moment late, they each caught their version of it.
“Did I mention I had no life, I read a lot of fan fiction. It started with the Teen Titans, and moved to My Little Pony when I discovered it.” Six chuckled, remembering his life before, he shook his head at the thought of his parents.
“I don’t have that much experience with fan fiction,” Wyatt admitted, moving on to his second donut. “Except for some videos where people made jokes about some of the less literate creators.”
“Hey, we all have our own interests, mine was fandoms, yours was photography. how did you get into that of all things by the way?” Six asked.
“Easy, my mom was a journalist so I was raised around someone that had a passion for it. I borrowed her camera one day and couldn’t get enough of it. We even had our own dark room in our house that we used all the time.”
“That's really cool. I never got anything like that from my adopted parents. Maybe I would’ve from my real ones, but I never met them. What was your dad like, if you don’t mind me asking,” Six asked, trying to not sound like a douche.
“A total dork to put it simply,” Wyatt answered with a chuckle. “He designed costumes for the local theater and actually got me into some of the nerdier stuff that I am. Hell, he DMed my first D&D campaign with my friends.”
“He made costumes, so did he make yours? The one you went to the con in. I’m assuming that’s how The Merchant got you. Also, the fuck is D&D?” Six asked, instinctually tilting his head.
“Dungeons and Dragons,” Wyatt replied with a chuckle. “The game designed by basement dwelling neckbeards for basement dwelling neckbeards.”
“Sounds like my kind of game. You said DM, so I’m assuming RPG,” SIx said in a questioning tone.
“Only the granddaddy of just about every modern RPG that exists. The system, races and classes have changed since it first came about in the 70’s, but the spirit of the game remains. A group of friends make characters and throw them into a world to explore to their heart’s content with the DM guiding them through scenarios.”
If Six’s eyes were visible they would have bugged out of his head. “Oh. My. God. We’re the characters, The Merchant is DMing,” Six said, in awe.
Scratching the side of his head, Wyatt looked up in thought. “I guess that’s one way of looking at it. Not exactly the analogy I’d make.”
“Oh, and what analogy would you use?” Six asked, slightly surprised that he had failed so spectacularly at comedy.
“It seems like a ‘deal with the devil’ scenario to me,” Wyatt started, looking back down at Six. “The Merchant finds someone, offers them something they want, and when the person buys it, it comes with unforeseen consequences.”
“The devil is now facepalming at the fact that he never had the idea to become a displacer. Or at least the devils that never had the idea are. Multiverse equals fuck logic have some drugs,” Six said. “Because that is what you would need to actually understand the multiverse.”
“Either that or a PHD in Theoretical Physics,” Wyatt offered. “But the drugs would be cheaper.”
Six opened his mouth to say something but stopped when he saw a familiar triangle of red dots appear on Wyatt’s chest. He tackled his new friend to the ground just in time as a blast of blue plasma shot past and exploded on contact with the ground. “Holy shit! You know how to fight a predator right? Cause my experience is limited to movies and video games,”Six said, quickly helping Wyatt off the ground.
“I’ve never fought one myself,” Wyatt admitted, returning his helmet to its proper resting place. “But I can grab some mud and guns and wing it.”
“Well,” Six pulled Wyatt back as the air wavered slightly and blades sliced where they had stood just a moment before, “shit, time to learn.”
“We need to get out of here,” Wyatt said, dashing for the door. “Too many people that can get hurt and property to be destroyed.”
The door exploded as a shot of blue plasma hit it right before Wyatt grabbed the handle. “No fucking way. Wyatt, it’s after you”.
“Okay, so how the hell can it be after me? How did it even know I was here?” Wyatt unwrapped the tail from his waist and whipped it around in an attempt to hit the invisible assailant.
There was the sound of a machine breaking as Wyatt’s tail sliced the armband of the Yautja, revealing it. “Maybe it followed you from your world?” Six offered.
“There’s a lot of weird things in my world, but never have I seen any evidence of predators,” Wyatt replied, turning and tackling at the newly revealed assassin. He lashed out wildly with the claws on his gauntlet.
Six punched the creature with as much strength as he could, sending it flying out of Wyatt’s grasp and out the now missing door. Right before he made contact he saw something odd on the predator. “Since when do these things carry walkie talkies?” he asked out loud.
“I’ve never heard of a predator with one of those,” Wyatt agreed, heading for the door. “Come on, let’s make sure he can’t get away to fix his cloaking device.”
“Agreed, we should at least try to get ahold of the walkie. They exist here and there’s an easy spell to see who’s on the other end,” Six said, blasting the predator with a shot of magic so he wouldn’t get up.
“Convenient,” Wyatt noted, charging at the predator and slashing at its chest with his claws.
“Very, but I can’t cast it. I imagine Twilight can though,” Six hissed, cringing at her name as he ran at the Yautja now struggling against the other displaced’s onslaught. He got there in time to be sent flying as a plasma blast he hadn’t seen being charged hit him. The offending creature finally got its legs in place and kicked the rider off of it.
Wyatt rolled for a bit before correcting himself into a crouching position. He zigzagged at the hunter, feigning an uppercut before slamming his tail into its stomach. Six pulled himself out of the bush he landed in and ran top speed into the back of the predator. It rolled forward, stopping in a crouch and chucking a disk at Six before jumping back at Wyatt, both rolling to avoid the attacks.
Wyatt crouched down, throwing the predator off him before it could finish its charge. As the hunter flew through the air Six used his tail to slash at its waist, making a short deep cut and knocking the walkie talkie off.
“Very nice,” Wyatt commented, pulling himself to his feet. Pulling a card out of his belt he asked, “Hey, Six, wanna try something out to finish this guy off?”
“What do you have in mind?” Six asked, fending off attacks from the now hobbled creature.
“This little beauty right here is actually a power up for you. It’ll make you change your form for a little bit. Care to find out what it does?”
“Definitely, augh”, Six said taking a left hook from the predator. “Ow.”
“Alright then, but it’s gonna tickle.” With a flick of his wrist, Wyatt tossed the card into his belt and walked up behind Six.
“Final Form Ride: S-S-S-Six!” Wyatt put his hands on the xenomorph’s back and spread them apart. Six immediately began growing into a Queen, to Wyatt’s surprise however, he continued to grow. The smaller queen arms growing to match the top two, tail splitting into three, demonic wings sprouted from his back. He now stood as tall as the town hall, and everything sharp on him had become serrated.
“I am so glad that I can’t really see right now,” Wyatt commented, pulling away from Six. “Otherwise you might be the scariest thing I’ve ever born witness to. Now, go kick this wimp’s ass!”
Six just giggled maliciously, his previously ambiguous voice now sounding distinctly feminine. He, possibly she, picked up the predator who had frozen in pure terror and sliced it to ribbons with his/her tails, eating what remained. “This is freaking amazing!” Six cheered.
“Judging by those disturbing sounds, I’d say that’s a wrap,” Wyatt said, a green hue to his face beneath his helmet. “And I think we’ve cleared up what your gender is now. Congratulations, you’re a girl.”
“Awesome!” Six said as she shrank back to normal. “Now let’s get this to Twilight,” she said, picking up the radio the yautja had dropped, her voice still feminine for some reason, though now sounding a bit higher pitched. “Umm, where do we go? As I said, I don’t spend much time here.”
Wyatt chuckled, waving for Six to follow him. “Lucky for you, I’m very aware of how to find Golden Oaks. Just follow me and we’ll be fine.” Walking forward, he started to lead the newly revealed alien girl down the streets towards the literal tree house.
“I watch the show and it still bothers me the tree is alive, and bigger on the inside. You’re going to have to talk to her, all she’ll get from me is hiss.” Six knocked on the door, not wanting to be rude.
“I kinda figured I’d have to play translator,” Wyatt replied, smiling. A moment later his eyes lit up in realization. “Oh! What if we asked her to work on something you can wear that’ll translate your hisses to Equish?”
“Good ideaaaaaaaa-” Six’s brain pretty much shut down as a purple humanoid dragon with a six pack and no shirt answered the door. She was staring at his baby face however, she shook her head and said nothing, just looked at Wyatt.
Wyatt had to force himself to hold back a snicker, picking up on certain hints that Six had inadvertently put out. “Hey, Spike,” he greeted. “We were hoping we could talk to Twilight.”
“How do you know my name? She’s in the back, but how do you know her?” Spike responded, slightly confused.
“I’m from another universe!” Wyatt proclaimed, striking a pose. “One where you are descended from the very first dragonlord and take up the mantle of a superhero known as Kamen Rider OOO!” He pointed at the drake, pausing for a moment before quickly adding. “Oh, and I date the Twilight in that universe.”
“Oh, multiverse, you lucked out. In this world Twi insisted I get accompanied with the theory. Cool to see it’s fact,” Spike said, shrugging before letting the two in and closing the door behind them. “She’s in the back, as I said. Yo Twi, someone wants to talk to you! Code M by the way!” he called out.
Wyatt deflated at Spike’s reaction and slumped forward slightly as he trudged deeper into the library. “It’s no fun if you react like that. You’re not even gonna ask how I know about your counterpart’s ancestry?”
“Why would I? We may be the same person, but we’re also not. Also, I could use common sense to figure he’s a friend, and you were thus, likely, there when he found out.” As Spike said this what sounded like crashing came from a door as a purple human with a horn ran out in shorts and a tank top.
“Huh, no robe”, Six muttered under her breath.
Wyatt pressed the button on the base of his neck so he could flash Twilight a smile. “Hi there, I’m the reason for the code M. My name’s Wyatt.”
“Hello, how did you get here? Did you use magic? Or perhaps a machine? If so, do you know the mechanics?” Twilight asked, summoning a pen and pad.
“I suppose magic is the best answer to that question,” Wyatt replied, scratching the chin. “But I can’t give you the magical formulas or anything. I just made a token, said a message onto it and sent it out into the void so I could be summoned.”
“Mental note, devote more time to study of the Multiverse,” Twilight said writing in the notepad. “Now, Spike said you wanted to talk to me?”
“That’s correct, Six and I were attacked by another alien commonly known as a Predator. We managed to grab this off them.” Wyatt held out the broken walkie talkie to Twilight. “We were hoping you could do something with this.”
“I think I know the spell you want. Just a second, aaaaaand there,” the purple unicorn said as and Image of someone Wyatt knew all too well floated in the air surrounded by a magenta glow.
“Somber,” Wyatt spat, glaring at the image. “Looks like you were right, Six.”
“He looks kinda like Shining, doesn’t he Twi?” Spike asked, looking only mildly off put.
“Yeah, but much more equine, like ancient ponies,” she responded, looking at the image with curiosity.
“Wish we’d made a bet,” Six commented. “So who is this guy, and why does he look like her brother?”
“That’s Somber Shield, he leads the group known as Dai-Shocker. The reason he looks like Shining Armor is because he’s a version of Sombra that possessed Shining Armor.”
“Ok, now how did he do any of the multiversal shit required for what just happened?” Six asked. Twilight and Spike settled on looking at the the image with more confusion and a bit of sadness.
“Dai-Shocker developed a way to cross into other universes. Usually they settle on recruiting allies from Kamen Rider worlds. Guess they made an exception this time,” Wyatt explained, tearing his eyes away from the image.
“Who says it was an exception? You said they recruit from Kamen worlds, meaning that you would have only seen them there. They could easily have been recruiting from every conceivable universe at the same time, which would be a problem for you,” Six pointed out as the image dissipated.
“Hope we never meet him. I don’t think any of us would be able to fight him,” Spike said as Twilight just nodded somberly.
“You should be fine,” Wyatt assured, turning to look at Spike and Twilight. “He’s got his sights set on the Equestria I’m in at the moment.”
“Sounds delightful I could swear I’ve heard that Dai Shocker name before though. I think my adopted father mentioned it, he was a huge nerd, hence why my original name is from a sith lord,” Six said. “Judging from your reaction, I’d guess you and him have history. You want to talk about it?”
“He impersonated Shining Armor for his wedding to Cadance. Luckily, we were able to figure out the deception before the ceremony concluded. We ended up fighting him and some of his forces. He tossed me out of a window and walked through OOO, W, G1 and a Displaced that had helped us. We only made it through the day because he retreated once the Elements of Harmony were brought out.”
“Shit, sounds bad. If you meet him again and need some help, just shoot me a call.”
“I’ll keep that in mind,” Wyatt assured, taking a deep breath in an attempt to calm himself down. “The fact that he makes my Twilight upset just by the virtue of turning another version of her brother into a meat puppet doesn’t help my irritation with him.”
“The elements pushed Nightmare out of Luna, perhaps they can be used to save Shiny?” Twilight cut in, her hair smoldering and her skin several shades lighter.
“As expected, our Twilights match in at least some values,” Six commented. “That said, I feel like she has a valid point there; you said he ran at the sight of them”.
“I think they might be able to get Sombra out of Shining’s body, but he might be beyond saving,” Wyatt said, his head slumping down. “Somber said that Shining was already dead when he possessed the body. Then again, I trust the bastard about as far as I can throw him.”
“Try to find the universe he came from. You can figure out if possession works by the Supernatural rules there. If not, he probably is”, Six suggested.
“The universe he came from is likely where Dai-Shocker’s base is established,” Wyatt replied. “Unless I just feel like dying, I’d need to prepare myself thoroughly before making a trip like that.”
“You could try to find one of the godlike good displaced, I’ve read of a few. Auric Fulcrum or Gilgamesh could likely be a huge help with just one of them,” Six said, thinking back to their stories, what she could remember at least.
“If I figure out a way to find other Displaced aside from just waiting for their tokens to randomly show up, I’ll be sure to do that,” Wyatt agreed, picking his head up.
“And of course you could bring me as well; I’d love the chance to beat down these universe hopping dicks,” Six said.
“Hello, hello? Creature come in, over,” Shining Armor’s voice chirped from the radio, making all four jump.
Wyatt grinned, taking the radio from Twilight’s grip and pressed the button. “Hey there, Somber. If you’re looking for the Predator you sent after me then I’m sure you can talk to what’s left of him once he exits my new friend’s large intestine.” Six let out a hiss to accentuate the rider’s point.
“That is rather unfortunate, I’ll take possible Displaced into account in the future,” the body snatching villain replied.
“You do that,” Wyatt replied, pacing around the room. “It’ll be good training so I can be ready to kick your ass.”
“I look forward to it, Rider,” the maniac said.
Wyatt chuckled, crushing the radio in his hand and tossed it back to Twilight. “You might wanna check that for some sorta tracking device. Last thing you want is that guy knowing where you are.”
Spike began searching the pieces, while Twilight paced in a rage, Six looked to her friend, “Are you ok?”
“I’m fine,” Wyatt said, turning to face Six. “I always feel a bit better after making one of his schemes fall apart.”
“That's good, so, anyone else you want to meet, or thing you want to do?”
“Oh, there is one more thing I need to do,” Wyatt said, his eyes widening in realization. “Twilight?” he started, turning to the odd purple girl.
“Yes?” she asked, her eyes instantly much kinder. “What is it?”
“Can you make a device that translates Six’s hisses into Equish? She’s getting tired of constantly communicating through signs.” Six nodded vigorously, as well as shooting quick glance at Spike which Twilight missed.
“Maybe, I’ll need a D.N.A. sample from her and something to bind the spell to, which I can make. The problem is the D.N.A.; her blood eats through everything I’ve seen it touch.”
Six put a thinking face on before going over to Spike, poking him to get his attention, then pointing at a scale. He just stared at her in confusion. “Hey Wyatt, can you ask if he has any discarded scales?”
“Hey Spike, do you have any scales lying around?” Wyatt translated. “Six seems to have gotten the idea that those might be able to contain her blood.”
“Yes I do actually,” he said walking to the bedroom and coming back with a small bag.
“Alright, now you just need to find a way to bind them together, Twi,” Wyatt noted, staring at the bag.
“Simple spell,” Twi said powering up her horn. “Basic connection, just remove the spaces in between.”
“Yeah, messing with the laws of physics sounds super simple,” Wyatt replied, rolling his eyes beneath his helmet as Twilight turned the scales into a makeshift beaker.
“Shush, or I’ll remove the hole that is your mouth,” she shot back.
“If you got rid of my Twilight’s favorite kissing target, she’d come here herself and breathe fire on you,” Wyatt warned, leaning on a nearby bookshelf.
“Your Twi is a dovahkiin!?” Six cut in
“Unicorns don’t breathe fire,” Twi responded, giving the big hissing creature an odd look.
“They do when they’ve taken part in an ancient dragon ritual that binds their family to that of a dragon’s,” Wyatt replied, reaching beneath his armor and producing a camera. Taking a moment to scroll through some pictures, he displayed the screen to Twilight. “Behold, my Twilight after binding herself to my Spike’s family.”
“But Kirins can only be earth ponies,” Twi said looking and the camera, her eye beginning to twitch. “She breaks the very laws of genetics I...I...I want her here, I need to test her.”
“Shit… you broke her,” Six said, Spike just started giggling at her.
Wyatt just snickered, putting the camera away and flicking Twilight’s horn. “I think it’s safe to say that you’re still a virgin in this reality. Because you just opened yourself up to all sorts of “experimentation” jokes right there. As for your comment; my Twilight didn’t become a Kirin, she just has manifestations of dragon blood because of the ritual Spike’s grandfather performed.” Twi looked like she was about to say something, but settled on just going wide eyed in embarrassment.
“Someone call me a hammer because I just hit the nail on the head!” he called out, looking between Six and Spike with a shit eating grin. Six and Spike were laughing their asses off, in Six’s case even rolling around on the floor. “Aww, but don’t worry, Twi,” he said, his expression softening and patted the horned girl on the head. “I’m sure a lovely lady like you will find a nice boy or girl to give your V card to. There’s no need to rush.”
Twi stood there for a second more before snapping back to reality. “Hmpf, whether or not I’m a virgin is none of your concern.”
“It’s my concern regarding an alternate version of you,” Wyatt pointed out. “But, I’m pretty surprised you haven’t asked me more questions.”
“Oh don’t worry, I have plenty. We’re just busy at the moment, and I have questions for her,” she stated pointing to Six. “I’m going to wait until the translator is finished; then you two get to sit here and answer my questions.”
“This is why I was trying to avoid her. It's going to take forever, I just know it,” Six said stomping her foot in a way that would be adorable… if she weren't a six foot pile of death.
“You can stand to wait seeing as she’s making you this for free,” Wyatt scolded, socking Six in the arm. “Plus, I bet I could get her to give you the girl voice of your dreams if we hurry.”
“Yes please, I want to sound like a female Neil Patrick Harris, or at least Penny from Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog,” Six replied not missing a beat.
“You’re not making this easy to communicate to Twilight, Six.” Suddenly, a lightbulb went off in Wyatt’s head. “Pinkie? Are you free to pop in for a sec?”
“Sure.” Said pink pony popped into existence, holding Six’s mouth shut and causing Twilight to fall over with a scream. Spike who had been slowly coming down from the laughing fit, wound up on the floor, laughing fit renewed. “Fair warning though, I’m not contacting Pear Butter or anyone else on that side of the veil for you.”
“I have no idea who Pear Butter is so I’ll just ignore that,” Wyatt commented, unfazed by her sudden appearance. “I just wanted to ask you to do a perfect imitation of Felicia Day so Twi here can make Six’s new voice.”
“Be careful talking to the Apples,” she warned, looking at Twi and saying, “this voice Twi, ok? ”sounding exactly like the aforementioned star, and then vanishing.
“I can do that, where in Tartarus does she come from?” Twilight asked, bopping Spike on the head to stop his laughing.
“Ow, c’mon that was funny!” he argued, Six was just moving her jaw about weirdly, removing tightness.
“And with that, my work is done,” Wyatt stated, flopping onto a nearby couch. “You go ahead and do your weird science while I relax.” Six bit her finger bleeding into the dragon scale test tube, handing it and her necklace to Twi, who went downstairs to her lab. She then laid down on the floor next to the couch Wyatt was on.
Stretching his arms out, he turned to look at Spike. “So, what’s been up with you in this universe, Spike? Did Twi still hatch you out of an egg?”
“Yeah, why wouldn’t she have?” Spike asked confused. “And nothing much, the most notable thing since Luna’s return was Discord.”
“Forgive me if I seem rude, but I ask because those nips you’re sporting betray your mammalian nature,” Wyatt questioned, pointing at the still shirtless young man. “I can only think of two mammals that lay eggs, the platypus and the echidna.”
“I’m a reptile actually, I honestly have no idea why I look like this, I’ve seen another dragon before, it looked nothing like me.”
“Sounds like you haven’t taken part in the dragon migration yet,” Wyatt commented, looking up at the ceiling in thought. “Maybe all dragons look humanoid at your age? Or maybe Twilight’s magic had some side effects on you?”
“I hope not. I like how I look, but with what is known about dragons I imagine looking like a pony would be bad. As for the migration that's still a few months away,” he pointed out.
“Did you see what happened on his birthday?” Six asked, having heard the conversation. “Because that hasn’t happened yet.”
“No, I got sent to Equestria after that incident,” Wyatt whispered, leaning off the couch slightly. “But I heard what a mess that was.”
“That should give you rough idea of timeline though, no spoilers, most of what happens to him is integral to his growth as a person.”
“My lips are sealed.” Wyatt made a zipping motion over his mouth before pulling himself back up the couch. “So, Spike, do you play a game called Ogres and Oubliettes?”
“Me and Big Mac started a campaign not too long ago, why?” Spike inquired.
“Because Six here commented earlier that tabletops might be something she’d be into when I brought them up,” Wyatt answered, waving a hand to the xenomorph. “Maybe you can show her the ropes once she has her translator?”
“I don’t see why not, we’re not too far into the game, so it won’t be too hard for her to catch up.” Wyatt glanced over at Six only to see her looking at him and somehow, blushing even through her black as night skin.
“I don’t know if I should thank you or smack you, on one hand I have an excuse to hang out with him, on the other I have to hang out with him,” Six said.
“You have to be a big girl and take a chance,” Wyatt whispered, nodding sagely at her. “The worst thing he can do is say no if you ask him out. Rejection sucks, but never knowing what they’ll say is worse.”
“Sounds like you speak from experience,” Six said. “And I’m not afraid of rejection, I’m afraid of him noticing something he shouldn’t since he apparently has no qualms being shirtless.”
“You’ll be fine,” Wyatt dismissed, patting her head. “And if you’re really worried about that, then finding some transformation magic shouldn’t be too hard to find.”
“And that would be helpful how?” She asked looking at him strangely.
“Uh, what exactly are you afraid of him noticing?” Wyatt questioned, scratching the back of his neck.
Six’s blush intensified to that of a dark tomato. “The smell,” she all but whispered. “If you have my senses you can smell something akin to salt but not.”
Wyatt’s nostrils twitched, finally noticing the scent. His expression blanked, looking down at the alien. “And what exactly does this smell mean?”
“Fuck off, too awkward,” she shot back. “Either way he’s a dragon, better senses than most animals, plus he lives with a mare who never gets any, he knows the smell.”
Rolling his eyes, Wyatt adjusted himself on the couch. “You’re being way too dramatic. I half expected you to grab Rarity’s fainting couch there.”
“I was raised by rich people, would it actually be all that surprising if I did?” she retorted.
Wyatt chuckled, putting his hands behind his head. “Good point.”
“What's a good point?” Spike asked, giving Wyatt a look.
“Oh, Six just suggested you could get Twilight to run some tests on you to figure out what’s going on with you being humanoid. If magic’s involved, then she’s sure to find something,” Wyatt lied.
“That is a good idea!” He beamed, suddenly excited. “I’ll suggest it to-”
As if on cue there was an explosion noise in the basement, the scientist’s voice ringing out at the same second, “SPIIIKE!”.
“-Twilight,” Spike finished after, all enthuthiasm gone from his voice as walked down the stairs.
“Thank you so much for the cover up there,” Six said once he was gone.
Wyatt just shrugged and grinned. “Hey, I keep a secret identity back home; you think I can’t lie when I need to?”
“Either way, you didn’t have to. Don’t know if he would have believed you, but the point stands.”
He waved her off. “Hey, that’s what friends are for.” Before Six could respond, a familiar purple drake slowly walked up the stairs and to the room, scorch marks darkening the scales in a few areas. A moment later the violet mare walked up the stairs, necklace in her hand and a smile on her face.
“Here you go,” she said, handing it to Six, who fastened it around her own neck.
“Thanks,” the necklace chirped in the voice of the underrated actress as Six hissed.
Wyatt sighed in relief, pulling the handles on his belt to let his armor disappear. “Good work, Twi. Now I can finally take off my suit and stop playing Xenomorph Whisperer,” he stated, putting on an odd spanish accent on the title.
“No problem,” she responded, “but I have about a million questions for each of you. Six’s necklace immediately let out a groan in response. They finally left over an hour later, both mentally tired from the near endless barrage of questions.
“Oh my god that took forever,” Six complained as she and Wyatt left the library, the sun beginning to move from its place in the sky.
“Some things never change,” Wyatt commented, letting his head hang. “At least you had answers for her xenomorph questions. She kept hounding me about how the belt works. How is it my fault that the shows gloss over the specifics on these things?!”
“I think she was just mad you never tested it. I’m not saying let her, it’s no doubt covered in void energy.”
“Probably, would explain why I can do this.” Wyatt held up his hand and let his buckle appear and disappear a few times in demonstration.
“I would have so much fun with that. It exists, it doesn’t, it exists, it doesn’t, I’m easy to entertain,” she added with a sigh.
“You say that, but it gets old after doing it for a couple minutes straight,” Wyatt replied, putting his hands behind his head. “Still, Purple Smart’s questioning wasn’t so bad. At least she let me take a picture of her that I can show to my Twilight.”
“How do you know the Purple Smart joke if My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic didn’t exist in your world?” Six asked, confused.
“Huh? What are you talking about? I made up that nickname. It’s a joke among pony fans?”
“Among others, yes. Though that one was the most memorable,” she replied.
“Weird,” Wyatt commented, looking around the town. “But not the strangest thing I’ve heard.”
“Just so long as you avoid Twilightlicious, so much cringe,” she said, failing, with impressive effort, to make a cringe face.
“Onto more pressing matters,” Wyatt said, a certain topic on his mind. “It seems like you have a thing for a certain purple dragon,” he commented, a knowing grin on his face.
“Shutty,” Six responded, “it's not a thing, he’s just… incredibly hot, and has a great personality, and I’m not helping my argument am I?”
“Not even in the slightest,” he told her with a chuckle, patting her shoulder. “But hey, there’s nothing wrong with liking Spike. And now, you’re going to be playing a game with him so you’ve got a way to get closer with him.” He grinned and added, “You’re welcome for that by the way.”
“Yeah, yeah, thanks alright,” she said a bit reluctantly. “There, ya happy?
“Very,” he answered, putting his hands behind his head. “So, is there anything else you want to do? I’m up for messing with ponies by telling them about their counterparts in my universe.”
“I say we leave Rainbow Dash for last, she’s the least intelligent and most likely to break,” Six responded, an evil tone in her voice, as she rubbed her hands together like a B movie villain.
“And we obviously skip Pinkie since she already knows all about it,” Wyatt added, matching her posture.
“So who do we start with?” Six asked, never breaking posture “I vote Rarity, we should be careful of her gun though, ever seen Hellsing Ultimate?”
“Which gun, the twin pistols or the anti-tank rifle?”
“Anti-tank rifle,” Six said, “because why wouldn’t the fashionista have military weaponry? Still don’t know how she can lift it. Also, bad nerd, it’s called the Harkonnen”.
“Do you expect me to remember the name of every weapon in anime?” Wyatt inquired, eyeing her skeptically. “Because that’s a little much to ask.”
“No,” she said with mock hurt, “only the awesome ones. And what’s not awesome about anti-tank rifles, they go boom, and then there's no more anything.”
“Because there’s more impressive weapons in anime. I don’t start remembering names until it fires miniature black holes or can destroy a city in one attack,” Wyatt answered plainly.
“So what is the name of Vash’s right arm,” she said smugly, thinking she’d won due to it’s less than memorable name.
“It’s the Angel Arm,” he replied instantly.
“Damn,” she said, thinking for a second. “You win, also I’m a bad nerd. I can’t think of any other city busters; hell I only heard of Trigun because I read a displaced story with Vash.”
“Huh, so someone gets to run around as Vash the Stampede,” he said, scratching his cheek. “Hope that Equestria has good insurance.”
“Last I checked he vanished after shooting Sombra with the Angel Arm,” Six replied, “and popped up again in the present Equestria with no memory. Which must have sucked for Celestia and Luna because they were a herd, with another member aside from those two. You’d have to read it, or meet him.”
“If he’s half as fun as the real Vash, then I’d probably have a good time hanging out with him,” he commented, nodding to himself. “As for Rarity, I bet I could defuse the situation by turning on the Matthews Charm and offer to model for her.” Putting on a winning smile, he pulled up on his shirt to show a bit of his muscles. “No way she can stay mad at me.”
“So was that a way of getting back at me for only saying Spike was hot earlier?” Six asked. “And I don’t know, I feel like I would be the better model,” She continued, lying down on the grass in the draw-me-like-one-of-your-french-girls position.
“You are covered in sharp horns, you’d tear any outfit she put on you to shreds,” he pointed out, letting his shirt drop. “And no, that wasn’t because you only called Spike hot. Being with a mare like Twi is the only self confidence boost I need.”
“Ever heard of a joke?” Six asked flatly. “Because both of those were jokes.”
“Jokes?” Wyatt repeated, tilting his head at her. “I’m afraid I’m unfamiliar with those. Can you please explain the concept?” Six’s only response was to stare at him, if her eyes were visible it would have been a blank stare. “Y’know, I think you lack the necessary facial features to pull off a blank stare.”
“And I can make you lack the necessary organs to bone Twilight, or anyone else for that matter,” Six retorted holding up her claws.
“Wow, that’s needlessly cruel,” he commented, offering a hand to help her up. “I make one joke and you threaten to castrate me.”
“You were being a smartass,” Six said, accepting the hand up. “Now let’s go break a fashionista…. Oh god that sounded so wrong”.
“At least I was the only one that heard you,” he said, chuckling and heading towards the boutique. “Wonder how she’d react to a picture of my version of her?”
“Is she a kirin too?” Six asked. “Or do you just mean the whole equine thing?”
“No, Rarity didn’t take part in the ritual,” Wyatt answered, pulling out his camera. “Only Twilight’s immediate family did. That’s why you don’t see me rocking the slitted pupils. Oh, and Diamond Tiara and her dad did too,” he hastily added. “But that’s because they found out they’re descendants of Spike’s aunt. Huh, saying this all out loud, this is a weirder situation than I realized.”
“What was your first clue?” Six agreed. “Was it the dragon ponies, because mine was getting dragged to a new universe as a murder toaster.”
“Excellent point,” he relented, dashing ahead. “But enough of that! Onward to the boutique!”
“And Fun!” Six added, following the mischievous human. As they neared the door of the boutique Six looked to Wyatt. “So should we scare her too?”
“You said she has a giant rifle, I ain’t risking getting blown away due to her acting on reflex,” Wyatt deadpanned, giving her a flat look.
“Fine,” Six groaned, adding “chicken shit” under her breath before knocking on the door. “Hey Rarity, It’s the creature who helped beat Discord, I got a translator, and a new friend.”
“Hey, without my armor, I’m not bulletproof,” Wyatt snapped, crossing his arms over his chest.
“Ah, just a minute,” Rarity called from inside, opening the door wearing a light blue dress that dipped just low enough to show some cleavage. She continued, “Six was it? So good to be able to speak to you, and who is your handsome friend? I haven’t seen you before,” she said looking to Wyatt.
“I’m Wyatt Matthews,” he answered, giving a small bow. “A pleasure to meet you. I’m new to town.”
“Oh, and such a gentleman,” she said smiling. “And where are you from Mr. Matthews?” Six immediately suppressed a giggle.
“Nowhere interesting,” he dismissed, putting on an easy smile. “Just a small town out in the desert.”
“The desert you say?” Rarity responded. “Then I assume you mean Appleoosa, or perhaps Dodge Junction?” she asked, Six still holding back laughter.
“Not quite,” Wyatt said, chuckling. “May we come in?”
“Why of course,” she said. “Six is a friend to the princesses after all, and you are such a gentleman. Come in, come in.” Moving away from the door to allow her guests to come inside, she slipped into the fitting area. “Please you two, take a seat. I’ll be back in a moment with some tea.” As soon as she left the room Six let out the laughter she was holding in.
“This is going to be great,” she said after looking at Wyatt.
Reclining in his seat, Wyatt nodded at her. “It’s not that big of a deal.” Chuckling, he leaned in close to whisper. “I was so close to throwing on an accent and pretending to be a foreign prince.”
“That would have been great. Though I imagine she would have tried to shoot you when she learned the truth. Though it could be true; your Twilight have wings?” Six whispered back.
“Uh, no,” Wyatt replied, looking at her with a puzzled expression. “She’s a unicorn, not a pegasus.”
“Ok, but after we’re done here I need to tell you something important. It enrages me no other displaced has warned you when they heard about or saw you and Twilight.” Before Wyatt could press her for more, Rarity walked in with a tray of tea and cups.
“So where exactly are you from Mr. Matthews?” she inquired, taking a seat across from the two displaced.
“You can just call me Wyatt, Ms. Rarity,” he assured her, taking a steaming cup and adding two sugarcubes. “And I’m from Taos. It’s much like Ponyville, but replace all the trees with cacti and tumbleweeds.”
“Taos,” Rarity repeated, taking a sip from her cup “I can’t say I’ve ever heard of it; is it in another country?” she finished.
Wyatt suppressed a chuckle of his own by taking a careful sip of his tea. “Yes, I’m fresh off the boat as one of my country’s sayings would put it. Equestria has been very welcoming so far.”
“Oh, well I’m delighted to hear it,” she replied. “So what country did you come from? If you don’t mind my asking,” she continued. Six was holding in laughter of her own, while trying to figure out how to drink from the cup.
“Actually, my town and country share the same name,” Wyatt lied, taking another sip. “The town’s founder was very patriotic as it so happened.”
“Oh really now?” Rarity inquired, her tone only betraying a hint of suspicion “I can’t say I’ve ever heard of Taos, could you point it out on a map? Perhaps I could visit there one day.” Six glanced at Wyatt, a sinking feeling in her stomach.
Wyatt sighed, letting his head hang. “That’s going to be impossible. Ms. Rarity, I’m afraid you’ve caught me in a white lie. I was telling you the truth about my hometown, but my country’s real name is the United States of America. And it would be impossible to point it out on any map.”
“And why can’t you point it out?” she asked, shooting a quick glance at a nearby closet, her tone distinctly less friendly, Six just looked away now trying to avoid eye contact with the mare.
“Because it’s in another universe,” he answered, running a hand through his hair. “I only lied because I wanted to avoid a long line of questions. Six and I were just at Twilight’s and we already received a lot of those,” he concluded, pointing at Six’s necklace.
“I’m sorry, but I must have misheard you. I thought you said you were from another universe, but that's not possible,” the fashionista said.
“The multiverse is real honey,” Six said, doing her best opera voice, or rather, someone else’s best opera voice.
“I can offer proof,” Wyatt said, reaching into his pocket and producing his camera. After a few seconds, he turned it around to show the fashionista the screen. On it was someone that resembled her, if only more… equine.
The aforementioned mare stared blankly at the screen for a moment before grumbling something about cup sizes and the fur being tacky.
Wyatt chuckled softly, changing the screen to show another photo of her. “Pardon me if I’m being rude, but I don’t think you have much to worry about in the cup size department.”
“That’s an uncouth statement,” she said a bit shocked “but I’ll let it slide, so why do say that?”
“Because I could hear you grumbling to yourself and thought I’d ease your worries,” he told her with a smile. “And I was pretty aware that it was uncouth.”
“Fair,” she said with a smile. “So will you be in Equestria long, or do you plan to return home soon?” she asked innocently.
“I’ll be here for a little while longer,” he answered, finishing the last of his tea. “But I do have my responsibilities back in my Equestria.”
“Oh, well perhaps before you leave you could tell me a bit about the fashions you have there,” she asked almost sadly.
“The fashions there aren’t all that different from the ones here I’d imagine,” Wyatt replied, tapping his foot. “Except for shoes. Can’t exactly put sneakers on a hoof after all. But, the Rarity from my Equestria did make ten outfits for me. In fact, this is one of them,” he concluded, displaying his black jacket and fuschia undershirt.
“You know, now that you point it out, is that based on your armor?” Six asked, finally contributing to the conversation. Rarity just looked between the two confused.
“Armor?” she asked, “I can hardly believe you're wearing armor under that.”
“That’s because I’m not,” Wyatt replied, summoning his buckle to his hand. “But I can change into it pretty quickly.” In a flash, he was sitting in his Decade form, picking up his tea cup and miming a casual sip.
“That is an interesting form of magic,” Rarity said, “and clearly the basis for what you were wearing. Tell me, would you mind if I based a design of my own on it?”
“Are you kidding me?” Wyatt questioned, opening his card case and displaying a group of cards to her displaying other suits of armor. “You can design outfits based on these as well if you like.”
Her eyes lit up as she grabbed the rider in a hug. “Thank you so much! You wouldn’t be opposed to me taking pictures, would you? That way I can refer back to them after you leave. And of course if you give me your measurements I would be happy to make you some for free to be picked up next time you come by our neck of the multiverse.”
“Luckily, I do know my measurements,” Wyatt said, returning her hug and listing off a series of numbers. “The Rarity of my world beat those into my head. Oh, and here’s a card that wasn’t part of my first ten forms that I think you’ll like.” Reaching into his case, he pulled out a card displaying the image of a red, crystalline helmet divided into eye, forehead and mouth portions by silver bracketing.
“Thank you, can you allow me a moment to grab my camera?” she asked, walking away from the two and up some stairs.
“So which Displaced is that one?” Six asked, pointing at the aforementioned Wizard card.
“That’s not a Displaced, it’s Kamen Rider Wizard,” Wyatt told her, putting his cards away. “Normally I’d tell you their identity is Souma Haruto, but in my Equestria, Twilight wears the mantle.”
“Wow, so are her friends riders as well, or just her?” Six asked, surprised at the reclusive mare being a superhero.
“Spike, AJ, Pinkie and Maud are riders too,” Wyatt told her. “That’s what I was trying to tell the other Spike before but he had no reaction to it.”
“Meh, he knows Pinkie Pie, he likely gets stuff like that all the time.”
“Fair point,” Wyatt relented. “Oh well, at least we were able to confuse Rares here with the multiverse talk.”
“Which was amazing, by the way,” Six replied.
“Yeah, and we made up for it by inspiring some new outfits for her. We literally dodged a bullet here.”
“Hell yeah, did you see her look at the closet, I’d bet my life her Harkonnen is in there.”
“And I wouldn’t take that bet,” Wyatt told her, letting out a quick laugh. “I don’t take losing bets.”
“Damn, could have used my own personal Rider,” Six joked as Rarity came back with her camera. After a quick photo shoot of Wyatt’s eleven forms and Six when Rarity had dragged her into it, the two displaced bid the mare goodbye and started towards their next ‘victim’.
“Those should be some cool clothes that she makes,” Wyatt commented, back in his street clothes. “Kinda wondering what she’ll do with the insect inspired ones.”
“Whatever it is it will look good for sure,” Six responded. “The funny bit is she doesn’t know she’s technically making twelve rider based suits with me and the form I...gave you? Inspired?” she questioned. “Meh, not important, now remember I wanted to tell you something. Would you rather I tell you now or after we hit the others?”
“Tell me now, I’ll forget to ask later,” Wyatt told her, turning his head to glance at the alien.
“Ok look,” Six said, “this is going to affect your entire life if you choose to marry, or even just stay with Twilight. About a year from Discord’s defeat by the elements, Twilight will get an unfinished spell by Starswirl from Princess Celestia, and be asked to finish it. She will cast it unfinished and her friends’ cutie marks will get switched. She will fix it, and finish the spell. In doing so, she will earn wings and the title of princess.”
Wyatt blinked owlishly, trying to process what he had just heard. “Hold up, you can just become a princess?”
“Yes, when a pony truly masters their talent and a princess deems them worthy, they will get the defining traits from the other two pony races and princesshood. immortality maybe, we don’t know for sure yet. That’s how Cadence got her horn, showed love to an evil witch if I remember correctly.”
“Then how did Luna and Celestia become princesses?” Wyatt questioned. “Were they already talented with solar and lunar magic, or did that become their talent when they became princesses. And who were the ones that recognized their talents if a preexisting princess is needed?”
“No, they are the last of their tribe, the only two living natural born alicorns, at least from what I could gather from the show, comics, and books. Maybe It’s different in your universe, you’d have to ask them. Just be aware that I could be wrong, and even if I’m not, it could put a huge strain on your friendship.”
“Pretty sure Twi and I went past being friends a while ago,” he said with a chuckle. “But, I’ll keep that in mind. If Twi gets as much of a workload as Celestia does, then she’d probably have a nerdgasm due to making schedules to maximize productivity and our personal time.”
“Good to see you still plan to stay with her; was kinda afraid you’d choose to leave her. Just felt that it’s something you should be warned of either way. Also, if I don’t get at least told about the wedding, I’m going to geld you.”
Wyatt coughed, a blush spreading across his face. “Well, wedding bells might be a distant thing. Not that Twi isn’t great because she is. It’s just we’re young and this is the first serious relationship for both of us.”
“If your time is anywhere near mine then I kinda figured, I’m just warning you. That being said don’t rush; you’ll know when the time is right, or she will. I don’t know, one of you will. Likely in a few years, maybe longer maybe sooner. It’s not like you have a kid yet”.
Wyatt chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his head. “Yeah, about that. We sorta adopted a foal. Long story short, Sombra got turned into a colt after his defeat and sorta latched onto Twi and me.”
Six stood there for a second, tail twitching slightly, before facepalming. “I really hope for his and Equestria’s sake you don’t let him be an angsty teenager. Also in the comics it’s revealed near his teen years that the Crystal Heart physically hurts him because he is a shadow pony. Don’t know if that holds true in your world, you’ll know if he get horribly sick around the time of the Crystal Fair. If he does, keep him far away from any talking red crystals. That would be his birth mother and queen of the shadows. She’ll corrupt him so he can free her and her subjects.”
“Well, the heart didn’t seem to hurt him when we were going around the fair,” Wyatt noted, putting a hand to his chin. “Then again, we didn’t exactly get all that close to it. Still, I don’t think we have to worry about him going angsty.”
“Hopefully that’s true, in most Displaced universes this happens in he’s a regular old unicorn from the stories I’ve read, pattern holds you’re fine. Now, enough heavy shit, who do we get next?”
“Hmm, Applejack might be the easiest to mess with,” Wyatt stated, turning down a street that led to the orchard. “I can just tell her that her counterpart’s favorite fruit is bananas or something.”
“I feel like that could end either awesome, or really bad,” Six said.
“Do you know if AJ owns a gun?” Wyatt asked, picturing the farmhand wielding a shotgun.
“You’d expect that, right. But in fact she uses a battleaxe,” Six said, “but it’s just a big axe. Nothing special but the apple decal.”
“Oh, then we have nothing to worry about,” Wyatt dismissed, quickening his pace. “I can armor up and disarm her before she has a chance to lop my head off.”
“She’s an earth pony, she can probably swing it faster than most ponies. But from what I saw she is the least dangerous. Just gotta watch out for Dash’s tonfas, she had them moving so fast I couldn’t see the blades.”
“See, nothing to worry about,” Wyatt assured, putting his hands behind his head. “And messing with Dash could be easy. If she hears that a nerd like me saved her life my first day in Equestria from a monster, that should wound her pride.”
“If we get that far with her, I’ll bet you twenty bits she breaks at multiverse is real,” Six said a bit cockily.
“And where do you keep money?” Wyatt questioned, looking her over. “I don’t see any pockets on you.”
“Pocket spell, it’s where I grabbed the bits I paid for the donuts with too,” she said demonstrating by grabbing a few bits from nowhere, then putting them back.
“Huh, that’s pretty useful,” Wyatt replied, nodding. “Anyway, we’ve got a farmgirl to harass.”
“Lead the way my good sir,” with that they went to Sweet Apple Acres. Six knocked on the door, it was answered by a stallion even taller than Six at seven feet tall, with a blank expression on his red face, Six could only imagine this was Big Mac. He wore a plaid red shirt and some overalls .“Holy shit, I mean we’re here to see Applejack, is she in?”
“Eeyup” he said, before walking off, presumably to get his sister.
“I did not expect him to be that big,” Six said looking at Wyatt.
“He is called Big Mac after all,” Wyatt replied, not looking bothered by the giant of a man. “Did you expect him to be five foot six?”
“No, but I didn’t expect him to seven feet tall!” she said quickly.
Wyatt grinned, sniffing at the air. “Does someone have another crush already?” he teased.
“No, it’s just his height and name called for an obvious joke, and it made me think of something, that's all.”
“Oh,” Wyatt said, realization dawning on him. “You were hoping that a certain part of him was big.”
“How did you not think of that joke?” Six asked. “Or was it just too obvious?”
“Might’ve been that it was low hanging apples,” he relented, leaning against the farmhouse.
“It’s not funny if I point it out beforehand,” she replied. “Well, not as funny.” Applejack stepped into the doorway, luckily having not heard the brief conversation about her brother, she wore a standard daisy duke outfit.
“Mac said y’all wanted ta talk ta me,” she said.
“Yeah, I’m new to the area so I’ve been making the rounds and saying hello to prominent figures in the town,” Wyatt said, waving at her. “Plus, Six here wanted to say hello.”
“Hello” Six said waving, “the dumbass who left out his name is Wyatt.”
Applejack looked at Six for a moment, surprise and clear sadness in her eyes before she shook her head and looked at Wyatt. “Um, yeah, howdy.” she waved at Six half heartedly, “So Wyatt, what brings y’all ta Ponyville?” she said sounding more like her usual self.
“Well, I’m actually just visiting from another Ponyville thanks to Six calling me over,” he answered, looking down and picking grime from his nails. “Gotta say, the place looks a lot like home. Of course, the Twilight back home is prettier, but that might just be my personal bias.” Applejack froze for a good thirty seconds before shaking her head again.
“Ah’m just gonna pretend that made even a lick o’ sense,” she replied. “Now if’n ya follow me we can keep chattin’, but ah got work ah gotta get to.”
“Oh, I can help you with that,” Wyatt said, following her to the orchard. After a moment, an impish grin found itself etched onto his face. “In fact, why don’t we make this interesting? Whoever can harvest the most apples will win.”
“Yer on,” Applejack said, “that is, if’n ya think ya can keep up.”
“Um, win what exactly?” Six asked, getting the two’s attention.
Wyatt chuckled, rubbing his hands together. “How about the loser has to get dolled up and put into a ball gown by Rarity?”
“Yeah, not taking that bet. You two do that all you want, I’ll go get Rarity to agree.” With that Six took off, before Wyatt could think of something to blackmail her with.
“Ah ain’t backin’ down so let’s get to it,” Applejack said looking to Wyatt.
“Alright,” Wyatt said, approaching a tree. “Care to do the honors of starting the countdown?”
“On three then, one, two,” she paused in her countdown for effect, “three!” She started round housing trees as fast as she could, grinning when she looked back to see Wyatt standing there.
Yawning, Wyatt calmly watched her kick at the trees. Stretching, he said, “Alright, guess I can get started. Summoning his belt around his waist, he pulled a trio of cards out of his case. “Henshin!”
After he appeared in his Decade armor, he slipped in a second card. “Kamen Ride: Kabuto!” His form shifted, his armor turning crimson and silver. The helmet had a large crest like that of a rhinoceros beetle that separated two blue eyes. Slipping in the final card his belt called out, “Attack Ride: Clock Up!”
Applejack appeared to freeze in place, letting Wyatt know that his card had done its job. Humming to himself, he began to arrange buckets around several rows of trees, giving each one a gentle kick. Satisfied, he pulled on the handles of his belt, cancelling his transformation.
Applejack looked around at what Wyatt had accomplished, then looked back at him. “Now tha’ ain’t fair,” she said, “y’all used some sorta magic.”
Wyatt chuckled, flashing her his belt buckle. “This ain’t magic, it’s tech. Think of it like a plow. Except this kicks way more ass than a plow. Plus, you never established in the rules I couldn’t use a tool to help me.”
“Ah…that’s…grrr,” she growled. Crossing her arms over her chest, she pouted. “Ah hope Rarity don’ agree to do nothing.” As if in response to her statement Six came back at that very moment, said fashionista riding on her back holding onto a frilly, poofy red dress, and a William Shakespeare style suit, complete with neck frilly.
“So,” she said looking between Applejack and Wyatt, “who am I dressing up?”
“That would be our fair Applejack my good lady,” Wyatt answered, pointing to the farmer with a flourish. “Lucky for me, I don’t think I’d look as good in a dress.”
“My,” Rarity gasped, “I’d never have thought you would lose an apple bucking contest Applejack. Now please, put this on,” she said handing her the red dress. “I’ll lace it up when you come out.”
Applejack grabbed the dress and walked away grumbling to herself. She came back a moment later, her red plaid shirt and jean shorts replaced with the red dress. Rarity tightened the straps and used her magic to put Applejack’s hair up in a beehive hairdo.
“Hmm,” Wyatt said, snapping a picture of Applejack. “I dunno, Rarity; I think something with curls might be better for her hair.”
“Hmm, yes, yes, I could see that,” Rarity said activating her magic and styling the scowling mare’s hair into something similar to what it was, but now made of curling loops. “How’s that Wyatt?” she asked, taking no mind from her friend’s scowl or Six’s attempts to hold in laughter.
Wyatt circled around Applejack, snapping another photo. “That’s perfect. Casual enough to work the field, elegant enough to take the breath away of gala goers.”
Applejack grumbled as Rarity started gushing over the dress and Six burst out laughing. “Oh gohohod, she’s so angr-.” She didn’t get to finish as the farm mare, in an extraordinary act of agility considering her current outfit, drop kicked her.
It was Wyatt’s turn to laugh, taking a few pictures of Six trying to fend off the angry farmer. Grinning, he turned to Rarity. “You do good work, Rarity. Way to not diminish her range of motion.”
“It’s made of a super elastic material,” the unicorn said. “It stretches up to 8 feet, with very little effort.”
“Why do you hate me!?” Six yelled to Rarity, barely able to defend herself from the orange mare. Actually defend is a bit of an overstatement as what she was actually doing was more of a fast paced fumbling Applejack was too busy trying to kill Six to respond. Rarity just shrugged in response.
“She doesn’t hate you, she’s just enjoying some schadenfreude,” Wyatt assured, taking another picture.
“And I enjoy not having to respawn using a pony incubator!” Six yelled back. “I have no control of the facehugger so I try to avoid death.” She screamed out as Applejack used her powerful legs to kick her in the side of the horns.
“Alright, AJ, you had your fun.” In a few quick motions, Wyatt donned his Decade armor and easily pulled Applejack off the xenomorph.
“C’mon, just a few more licks,” she said to the rider, “that varmint is hard ta hit because oh ‘er speed.”
“This is also for your safety,” Wyatt said, continuing to restrain her. “If you managed to crack or even break her exoskeleton then you’d be at risk of getting burned by her acidic blood. And for reference, it can eat through metal in seconds.”
“Honestly Applejack,” Rarity added, “we saw her blood eat a hole through the castle floor and into the caverns beneath Canterlot, do you actually want it to touch you?”
“No,” the restrained mare replied, “ah wasn’t gonna break nothin’. I was aimin’ fer ‘er ‘orns.”
“Applejack,” Six said blankly, “horns contain a massive amount of blood vessels and nerves. You break one and I’d likely start thrashing, sending blood everywhere; hurting Rarity and Wyatt too.”
Applejack paled at that news and looked to Rarity for confirmation. Rarity gave a quick nod and added, “It’s true darling.” Applejack paled even more.
“Sorry y’all, Ah was under the assumption tha’ ‘orns were jus’ bone,” she said.
“Actually,” Wyatt started, letting go of the southern belle and returning to normal. “Unicorn horns are similar to that of the rhinoceros and are made of tightly woven keratin.”
“Explain it simple like ya varmint.” Applejack said, “keep yer fancy schoolin’ words outta’ it.”
“It’s the same stuff that hair and fingernails are made out of, just structured differently,” Wyatt elaborated, chuckling. “Kinda like how diamonds and coal are both technically just carbon.” Rubbing the back of his head he quickly added. “My Twilight taught me all of that.”
“Okay, Ah git it”, Applejack said, “ah’m sorry again, not fer hittin’ you though”, she said pointing at Six. “Now can ah change otta’ this, fersakin’ dress”.
“Yeah, I’ve had my fun,” Wyatt told her, chuckling. “Go ahead and return to the Daisy Duke look.”
“Ah don’ get the Daisy Duke thing” the farm mare said, “bu’ if’n ya don’ mind ah’d like ta talk ta Rarity alone. Y’all are free ta wander the orchard if’n ya still wanna talk ta me after.”
Wyatt gasped, an excited look on his face. “Is this gonna be a confession of love? I always thought you two would make an interesting couple.”
“No, ya varmint, Ah don’ roll tha’ way,” Applejack all but yelled. Rarity just grunted awkwardly in response. “Besides tha’ even if it was, it ain’t none oh yer business.”
Wyatt snickered, waving her off. “Sorry, couldn’t resist that one. You two go have your talk, Six and I will find something else to do.”
“Bye you two,” Six said.
“Bye darling.”
“Bye.”
With that Six and Wyatt left the two walking for the exit. “So,” Six said, “who do you think we should go for next?”
“Fluttershy should probably be saved for last,” Wyatt stated, putting a hand to his chin. “She’s the easiest to upset to an uncomfortable level.”
“That’s a good point, but tell me, can you fly?” Six asked. “Because otherwise we may want to grab some rocks on the way Rainbow’s.”
“Watch this,” Wyatt told her with a smirk, summoning his belt. After a moment, he was in his Decade form before pulling another card out of his belt.
“Displaced Ride: Cassie!” Silhouettes converged on his form, changing his armor to a deep blue. Several tesla coils rose out of his back, sparking to life and creating wings of electricity.
“This raises questions,” Six said, “like how the hell do those catch air?”
“Seeing as this form is based on a displaced from a mobile game, logic and physics can get bent over the proverbial table,” Wyatt replied, hovering a few feet off the ground to demonstrate.
“Ah, neat,” Six replied, “what game?”
“Brave Frontier,” Wyatt answered, glancing up at the sky.
“Never heard of it,” Six said, looking up like Wyatt. “What are you looking at up there?”
“Just seeing if I can find where Rainbow’s place drifted to real quick,” he answered, continuing to stare upward. “Looks like we’ll need to stroll around town to find it. It’s usually on the outskirts of town.”
“In that case you should probably de-morph. Unless you want the entire town to stare at you. You may have helped fight the predator, but the super suits are still fairly uncommon here.”
“Fine, but I bet I’d be super popular with the kids,” he said, pulling the handles on his belt and letting himself drop to the ground.
“I don’t doubt it.” Six snickered, as they continued on their way. They chatted about this and that as they walked. Wyatt noted that much of Ponyville looked the same, aside from a few buildings here and there, but one building however caught his eye, it’s logo making him stop dead in his tracks. The logo was a gold, two headed eagle, with WY carved into the chest. “Oh, that’s Weyland Yutani. They’ll probably be trouble for me later on,” Six said, but her rider friend didn’t hear her over his own brain.
Wyatt summoned his driver, putting it to his waist. “I’m sorry, did you say something?” Before she could answer, he transformed and ran inside the building.
“What are you doing, come back here!” she called out after him. “What the hell is he doing?” She walked to the entrance of the building, deciding the best course of action was to wait for him to come out.
A few moments later and Wyatt emerged without his armor, a deep expression of shame etched onto his features. “Turns out that was the wrong kind of evil. Big Business.”
“Wrong kind of evil?” Six asked. “What did you think it was? I know the logo is different, but not everything could be the same from universe to universe.”
“Dai-Shocker, the organization I fight has a similar logo. I uh, kinda jumped the gun there,” he explained, rubbing his neck.
“Really, you sure you don’t want to go back in there, threaten the secretary’s life, see if she knows any of the companies nefarious plots?” Six asked sarcastically.
“And do you wanna get reduced to a facehugger?” he shot back, flashing her his belt.
“No please, I’m sorry,” she said quickly, backing away just as fast. “I didn’t mean to offend you that bad, just making a joke.”
“Yeah well, I take being a hero seriously,” he said, letting his belt fade away. “And I nearly threatened the lives of civilians.”
“It’s okay to make mistakes, even as a hero. As long as you don’t hurt anyone it’s fine,” she told him, stepping closer and putting a hand on his back.
“Thanks. And trust me, I already have made mistakes.” Wyatt chuckled and shook his head. “Anyway, we’ve gotten sidetracked here.”
“Yeah, and if it makes you feel any better, if Weyland Yutani turns out to be a cover company for Dai-Shocker. I’ll call you in and you can shout ‘I was right’ to the heavens”.
“I doubt it, but thanks.” Wyatt shoved his hands in his pockets and continued down the street. They continued their walk in relative silence after that. The few times Six tried to start a conversation didn’t take.
Looking up Six stopped Wyatt with, “I found it.”
Wyatt turned his head skyward, seeing the familiar shape of Rainbow’s house. “Ah, there’s the lair of rule sixty-three Sonic turned pony,” he commented, his belt appearing around his waist. “Time to prank her.” In a few moments, he was in his electric armor, summoning his wings. With a flap, he took to the air and flew to the prismatic mare’s doorstep. Knocking on the door he waited for her to open it. She answered in a sports bra and underwear, if they could be called that, he gestured down, flying down and demorphing as Rainbow Dash landed in front of the two.
Wyatt coughed into his hand, making sure to keep his gaze from the woman’s neck up. “Don’t you want to throw something on besides what you sleep in?”
“Odd way to say hello. If I had been awake I’d have answered naked so no. The name’s Rainbow Dash, but just call me Rainbow, or Dash. I’ve met the freak of nature,” she responded, pointing at Six, who put her hand on her chest in mock offense. “But who in the hay are you?”
“I’m Wyatt Matthews, but I also go by Kamen Rider Decade,” he answered, putting on a grin. “I travel Equestria and fight monsters.”
“Awesome!” Dash replied, near instantly in her ‘awesome pose’, bent over hands squishing her face, feet in the air behind her, flapping wings and breasts crushed between her elbows, possibly on purpose.
Wyatt turned his head away but managed to keep his grin up. “Yeah, I’ve fought all kinds of nasty creeps. There’s this one breed of monster, Worm, that can move at the speed of sound.” Muttering under his he added, “But that's up for debate.”
“Really, only Mach one, that’s barely even a warm up for me,” she said, feet back on the ground.
“They can also tank hits with tons of force behind them,” Wyatt added, chuckling. “And you might as well try tickling them with a feather before using a normal blade on them.”
“How do you fight that, even with the cool ass disappearing armor?” she asked, “and how have I not heard of them?”
“Did you hear of parasprites before they attacked your town?” Wyatt retorted, summoning his case and pulling out a card. “And as for your first question; my armor lets me hit them hard enough so they can feel it.”
“How did you hear about the parasprites? No pony in town talks about that, especially not with newcomers,” she said crossing her arms, Six just sat there staring at the mare.
“That’s because I’m not a newcomer, I live in an alternate universe version of Ponyville,” Wyatt explained calmly.
“Prove it,” she said, her eyes becoming steely.
Wyatt pulled out his camera, showing her several pictures of his friends. Her response to this was to freeze for a full five minutes, before coming to with a jump that nearly knocked Wyatt over. Six, who had doubled over in laughter the second Dash broke, started rolling on the ground when Wyatt almost fell. “How did you get here then?” Dash asked.
“Six summoned me here,” he replied, brushing himself off. “There’s a few of us out there in other Equestrias. We can summon each other through objects we send out called tokens.”
“We’re called the displaced, ripped from our lives and thrown into another universe with the form and powers of a fictional character. At least most of the time,” Six added.
“Wow,” Dash said, “sounds like this happens a lot.”
“More than we’d like,” Wyatt replied, running a hand through his hair. “But uh, best not to dwell on that depressing stuff right now.”
“Okay then,” she said, mildly confused. “Mental note, the multiverse is bucking fucked up.”
“That’s a pretty good note to keep tucked away.” Wyatt closed his eyes and nodded. “Some of my own troubles involve the multiverse. I’m currently fighting a group that conquers universes.”
“How do you fight something like that?” Dash questioned. “If they conquer universes, shouldn’t they have the skills to win by now?”
“Well, they still have to maintain their empire for one thing,” Wyatt answered, scratching his chin. “Plus, my version of Celestia hid something that’s very important to one of their members. So that’s hindered them.”
“Good,” Six said, “also do you know what happened to the last morphing superhero who said empire?”
“Uh, are you talking about Power Rangers Zeo?” he questioned, tilting his head at her.
“Most times a ranger says empire, at least in the American version of the show and comics, it’s only a short time before running into Lord Drakkon, and with your claimed bad luck, you screwed yourself, and I will laugh at you when you summon every single displaced you know in order to fight him,” Six ranted in one long sentence.
Wyatt chuckled weakly. “We've uh, met already. He attacked Sweet Apple Acres.”
“If you want I can give you a brief synopsis of Drakkon,” Six offered.
“Sure, can’t hurt to know.” Wyatt nodded and leaned against a nearby wall.
“Tommy Oliver never went good, killed Jason, stole white ranger morpher, conquered universe, used other morphers to make more, made ranger army,” Six said. “He also learned everything Rita knew about magic, then killed her before taking over. Now he hops universes taking over, killing rangers, and using their morphers to build up his ranger army.”
“Then my universe wouldn’t be on his sights organically,” Wyatt stated, looking down at the ground. “But it sounds like the Rangers have their own version of Dai-Shocker.” Six just stared at Wyatt blankly, waiting for him to figure it out. It was Dash who got annoyed of the silence first.
“Couldn't they meet?” she asked.
“That’s why I said organically,” he replied, looking up at the mare. “Power Ranger abilities work by tapping into something called the Morphing Grid. My, and the powers of other Kamen Riders don’t. Drakkon wouldn’t come after us unless Dai-Shocker made a deal with him.”
“How exactly do Rider powers work?” Six questioned. “And don’t say technology, because technology can’t create something from nothing.”
“Every Rider is different,” Wyatt started. “The best I can give you is that some are magical like Wizard, Kuuga and so on. OOO worked by tapping into Core Medals which came from beings called Greed. And there’s the more tech based variety like Drive, Kabuto and my Decade powers. The specifics are usually kept in the dark.”
“Story designers never think minute details would be important, go figure it would be very important for us,” Six said, lowering her head. “Their fiction is our fact, I don’t even know how my body functions outside of fan speculation.”
“I prefer to leave that sorta thing to Twilight and the egghead crew at the G-Project,” Wyatt replied with a shrug. “I just make monsters go boom.”
“That’s my kind of thinking,” Dash said with a yawn, “I’m going back to bed; too much weird between the two of you. Night.”
“It’s the middle of the day,” Wyatt stated flatly.
“Perfect time for a nap,” Dash countered, getting into his face.
“Okay, whatever you say,” he said, quirking a brow at her.
“Too bad,” Six cut in. “Me and Wyatt were going to race to Fluttershy’s.” She discreetly made the hand roll gesture of ‘play along’ to Wyatt.
“Yeah,” he said, smiling. “But if you’re too tired to keep up with mach one then you can hit the hay.”
Before Wyatt could blink, Dash was right next to him. “So are we running, flying, both, each their own, what?” she said.
“Well, Six can’t fly so I think we should stick to running,” Wyatt told her, winking at Six.
“Just be prepared, I can run pretty fast” Six said
“Yeah, yeah, ya phallic freak, let's do this” Dash said, the insult making Six and Wyatt hold back a chuckle at the fact it had been used once before.
“Alright,” Wyatt said, putting his hands behind his back and summoning his belt. “Who wants to do the countdown?”
“I got it”, Dash said, “3….2…...1…...GO!” on go she chucked what little she had been wearing into the air, neither Wyatt nor Six noticed her stripping a moment before. Six took off after her, surprised, but mostly unphased.
Wyatt hummed to himself, casually picking up Dash’s discarded clothing. Once he saw the tip of Six’s tail disappear from view, he placed his belt at his waist. In a matter of seconds, he was in the crimson armor from before and the world around him seemed to freeze. He walked the familiar streets of Ponyville, the citizens unmoving like a living snapshot. It didn’t take him long to catch up to the pair, slipping Dash’s clothes back onto her frame. Once he reached Fluttershy’s doorstep, he pulled the handles of his belt and reverted to normal. Six got there second, after the red streak had passed her she went up to full speed and followed Wyatt’s scent. Dash got there a minute or so later utterly confused, and mildly miffed.
“How the hay did you get here?” she asked, “better yet how in tartarus are my clothes on”.
“Well, we only banned flying from our contest,” he pointed out, a smirk on his face. “So I used one of my rider forms to get here and made sure you didn’t flash foals along the way.”
“You’re so overpowered it’s not even funny,” Dash replied. “Also public nudity is allowed just not common. They’ve seen worse, I can guarantee it. The entire town needed new clothes after the Parasprite incident.”
Wyatt stared at the woman in stunned silence for a while. “This universe is like a European beach.” Shaking his head he chuckled and asked, “So, were you ogling the guys or all the girls during that incident?”
“Both,” Dash answered with a shrug, while Six knocked on Fluttershy’s door.
“So which guy in town is the biggest?” Wyatt questioned, chuckling. “Big Mac is way too obvious.”
“Mac is just above average honestly. Filthy Rich wins by a landslide,” Dash responded. Six just kept facing the door, hoping the awkwardness behind her would end, or Fluttershy would just open the door.
“Huh, that’s pretty surprising,” Wyatt said, nodding to himself. “Good for him.”
“If Pinky’s right though, Spike tops even him. I’ve never seen it, though generally Pinky is right, so I’m taking her word for it.”
“Guess something on him has to be dragon sized,” Wyatt joked, nudging the woman with his elbow.
Before Dash could respond a small “Eeep” came from behind the three. Turning around, they saw a yellow pegasus wearing a light pink dress that just covered her knees, and didn’t show off anything up top.
“Hey Shy,” Dash said, grabbing some of the bags the other mare was carrying. “This is Wyatt, and you’ve met Six.”
“Hi “ She whispered, avoiding eye contact.
“Hi Fluttershy,” Wyatt greeted, waving at her. “Would you like to see a picture of my foal? Dash mentioned you like small and cute things.”
She just nodded in response carefully walking closer to Wyatt as he pulled out his camera. Tapping the screen, he showed her a picture of Sombra on his first day of school, wearing a grey shirt and a red pair of shorts. The colt gave a timid smile to the camera while waving and shrinking in on himself.
“He’s so cute,” she said already a bit more comfortable. “But why does he look so equine, is he sick?” she said with a look of concern. “I-if you don’t mind me asking”.
“Oh no, he’s perfectly healthy,” Wyatt assured, showing her a photo of him and his Twilight playing a game at the Crystal Faire. “I’m just from another universe. Everyone looks like that there.”
“Oh, h-how did you get here?” she asked. “Do you have a way back?”
“Yeah, I can get back,” Wyatt replied, putting his camera away. “And I’m part of a group that can get summoned to other universes by sending out objects called tokens. Six can send me back anytime she likes.”
“He could summon me too,” Six said, surprising Fluttershy, “This necklace acts as a translator, and is my object.”
“Isn’t t-that dangerous, traveling to other universes? What if an evil person summons you?”
“That hasn’t happened yet,” he assured her, rubbing the side of his head. “But if I was then I’d probably tell them to send me back or else I’d kick their ass. I don’t work for evil jerks.”
“I’d do the same, after I verified what kind of evil they are. A lot of displaced have been labeled evil by princesses that won’t listen,” Six said.
“Well yeah,” Wyatt started, waving his hand in a small circle. “Making sure they’re actually evil was kinda implied.”
“Before I got displaced, I thought it was all just fiction, one universe, no merchant, a stupidly good show meant for kids,” Six said somberly. “I took for granted how it felt to be trusted; never thought about the displaced labeled as evil, their plight. Now I can’t help but feel lucky, I’m friends with the princesses, not running from them.” Fluttershy was crying and hugging Six, which was unsurprising as it didn't take much to get to the mare.
“I never had a time where I wasn’t trusted,” Wyatt said, crossing his arms over his chest. “My version of Twilight and you girls welcomed me in pretty quickly. Probably helped that I beat a monster and carried my Dash to the hospital my first day. Don’t get me wrong, there are people that give me a hard time; some don’t appreciate Twi and I being in a relationship. But I was still taken away from my family.”
Fluttershy grabbed both of them in a group hug still crying, “I-If either of you ever need to talk, I am here” she said tears flowing down her face.
“That’s nice of you but I for one am fine, my parents died before I was sent here,” Six said to the mare. “And even if they hadn't I wouldn’t have missed them with how they treated me.”
“And I’ve got my Twilight to talk things out with,” Wyatt assured, patting Fluttershy’s back in an attempt to console her. “And even though I miss my family back home, I’ve made a new one in Equestria.”
“C’mon Shy,” Dash said after taking the last of the bags into the cabin. “You're gonna choke them out.” Fluttershy reluctantly let go of the two, wiping tears from her eyes.
Wyatt rubbed his neck, chuckling. “I dunno, if I died I might come back as Kamen Rider Ghost,” he joked, looking down at his waist.
“My facehugger form would just jump the nearest warm body, I think, maybe it seeks out evil? I don’t have control of it though,” Six said, not joking.
“Let’s not test that,” Wyatt stated, pointing at the alien. “Pretty sure you’d hate it if your host was an innocent person.”
“Very much,” Six said with a quick nod. “If I kill anyone there has to be a reason, and a good one at that. If they’re not trying to kill anyone, I won’t try to kill them.”
“Makes sense,” he replied, putting his hands in his pocket. “Well, I think we should head out. We did the opposite of what we wanted and made Shy cry.”
“It’s fine, I know you didn’t do it on purpose,” Shy said. “Bye.”
“See ya guys,” Dash said, taking off in the direction of her cloud home.
“See ya,” Six said, waving at the two pegasi and beginning to walk back to Ponyville with an ominous feeling in her stomach.
Wyatt started to walk down the path back to town, humming to himself. “I guess that takes care of everyone.”
“Yeah but something feels off,” Six said, her head blindly scanning the town. “Twilight has by now sent a letter to the princesses, but we haven’t seen them or even gotten notice of their arrival. They’re up to something.”
“Do you really think they’d take time out of their busy day just to see a schlub like me?” he questioned, waving a hand over himself.
“The schedule would have gone out the window the second Tia read ‘from another universe’,” Six said, “and god forbid she mentioned you had a gender.”
“Pretty sure using he would be unavoidable when talking about me,” he pointed out. “And I doubt Twi would’ve complimented my looks after teasing her like I did.”
“Doesn’t matter, they’ll sleep with anyone.” She stopped, her face showing fear the best it could. “They definitely know I’m a girl by now, shitty fuck balls!”
“Wouldn’t they respect your feelings if you told them you don’t swing that way?”
“Just because I’m trans, doesn’t mean I don’t swing both ways. I may feel like a girl, but I’m Bi,” Six said, most likely trying to glare at him. “And they know that, I told them centuries ago while I was still trapped in stone.”
“And have you told them you’re not interested?” he pressed, rubbing the side of his head.
“Well, no, but there is a reason for that,” Six said. “Plus if they ever asked, my xenomorph instincts, having taken them as my queens, would make me say yes.”
“And this is why I’m glad I went as something human,” Wyatt said, pointing at her. “No weird biology quirks.”
“Hey, I thought the multiverse was bull and that The Merchant was just a fellow fan of the Displaced,” Six responded. “Had I known otherwise I wouldn’t have bought anything from him.”
“There’s no changing the past,” he offered, looking around the streets. “Hey uh, is it just me or is the town emptier than it had been just a second ago?”
Six looked around and sure enough, where ponies had been not five minutes ago when they got to town, was now empty. She gave the air a sniff and focused on her hearing. She got a few whiffs of pony from Sugarcube Corner, but all was deathly quiet. “I think they’re in the bakery, but I’m not sure, how did they fix the door so fast?”
“Sounds like a Pinkie party,” Wyatt noted, turning towards the bakery. “I suggest we go there or else she’s liable to kidnap us.”
“Alright,” Six said, as she and Wyatt walked up to the door. She gave it a knock, getting no response she opened the door, and the two walked in.
Before the new door could even close, the lights came on and the whole town jumped up with a cry of, “SURPRISE!”
“Ahh!” Six shrieked, despite expecting it, only barely avoiding lashing out with her tail as it noticeably twitched.
“Why did you scream?” Wyatt questioned, quirking a brow at her as he headed towards the punch bowl. “You knew this was coming.”
“I startle easily, okay?” Six responded, slightly embarrassed. “I have since I was little.”
Dipping himself a cup of punch, Wyatt nodded. “Can’t fault you too much there. But I’ve sorta built up my nerves thanks to fighting monsters.”
“It’ll probably come in time for me. The gods of any universe know that the multiverse has a general hate for all displaced,” Six answered, looking over at an incoming psychotic pink mare.
“So,” Pinkie asked, “were you surprised, were ya, were ya, were ya?”
“I was” Six responded, “but Wyatt has nerves of steel.”
“Yeah, empty streets plus a Pinkie that disappeared,” Wyatt chimed in, grabbing a cupcake. “Doesn’t take a genius to put two and two together there.”
“Awwwww, you’re no fun,” she complained good naturedly, poking Wyatt in the nose with a smile. “Also, somepony is looking for you two. They’re in back so they can talk to you alone.” Six nodded and started walking towards the back room of the restaurant.
Wyatt took a bite of his cupcake and followed after the alien. “Why do I have a bad feeling about this?”
“Because you have a brain” Six answered as they walked into a room with a couch. Sitting on the couch were the princesses. Celestia wore an ornate white dress with a sun emblazoned on the chest and a golden necklace to match nestled between her barely covered breasts. Luna wore a similar ensemble, except the dress was blue with a moon and only the chain of her silver necklace was visible between her much larger, and just as on display breasts.
“Six, and the visitor from another universe,” Celestia said, sounding completely innocent. “Please take a seat, we have something to ask,” she continued, gesturing to the two open spots on the couch.
“I don’t think there’s enough room on that couch,” Wyatt said, a sense of unease forming in his stomach. “Six’s tail alone would eat up all the space.” He pointed at the xenomorph for emphasis.
“Very well,” Celestia responded, her horn glowing as two reclining chairs popped into existence across from the sisters. As soon as they sat down, Luna leaned forward and leveled a glare at Wyatt.
“We have only one question,” she started, her voice serious, “do we have anything to fear from this Dai-Shocker Twilight informed us of?”
“I don’t think so,” he replied, tentatively taking a seat across from Celestia. “They seem to focus on worlds with Kamen Riders or other transforming heroes.”
Both sisters noticeably relaxed at this. After a second they eyed each other and a lecherous grin spread across both their faces. A blue glow surrounded Wyatt and before he could react he was floated into a tight squeeze between the two alicorns. “That is quite good news to hear,” Celestia said.
“Especially from one so handsome,” Luna whispered into his ear, punctuating her lustful tone by licking his ear.
“Oh god no,” Six muttered, facepalming.
“Oh yes,” Celestia said in a sultry tone, still facing the human, her hand moving to his groin and giving it a squeeze.
Wyatt jumped in his seat, attempting to get away from the sisters. “Whoa there! Sorry princesses, but I’m in a happy relationship!” A crimson blush had overtaken his face.
“Are you sure we can’t have at least a little fun?” they purred in unison, each tightly hugging an arm between their breasts. Six just kept shaking her head in her hand.
“Very!” Wyatt squeaked, struggling in vain. “My Twilight and I have never discussed having an open relationship!”
“Fiiine,” they pouted together, letting go of his arms.
“But if you ever do discuss it, the offer stands provided she agrees,” Celestia said.
“Verily,” Luna added.
“You two have no shame” Six said, finally bringing her head away from her hand.
“I’ll keep that in mind,” he grumbled, returning to his seat. “Is there anything else you wanted from us?”
“No,” Celestia said, “that was it.”
“We hope you can forgive our quirks, we tend to THINK WITH OUR VAGINAS!” Six said in a voice somewhere between mocking and anger. “You two need to apologize to my friend.”
“We art sorry,” Luna said offhandedly.
“I’m very sorry Wyatt,” Celestia said, sounding genuine but for some reason Wyatt doubted it.
“Don’t worry about it,” he replied, relaxing in his seat. “I’ve dealt with worse things than aggressive flirting.”
“From Twilight’s letter, I’d say you’ve dealt with worse just earlier today, what was this creature?”
“It’s called a Yautja” Six responded, “more often referred to as the Predator. They are a race of hunters, specialized in killing. They don’t stop hunting a target till one or the other are dead. It seems one was sent to kill him by the leader of Dai-Shocker, Somber Shield. I have offered him my aid should he ever face him.”
“We shall aid as well should thee need it,” Luna said as Celestia nodded.
“Thanks you two,” Wyatt said, looking between the sisters. “I really appreciate it.”
“Think nothing of it” Celestia said. “A friend of Six is a friend of ours, and we make a point to help our friends”.
“Hopefully I won’t need the help,” he said, grinning. “If I can find something called the K-Touch, I’ll be able to use my final form.”
“Have you tried tracking void energy? When a universe is selected by a displacer, they alter it, merging aspects of the displaced person’s costume universe. As such, it should be radiating void energy like Chernobyl radiates… radiation,” Six chimed in.
“Well, here’s the thing,” he started, putting his fingers together. “I’ve got an idea where it is. We found a journal of Starswirl’s that showed the old guy using it to seal away… uh… some centaur guy. I forget his name. Point being, it’s most likely in Tartarus.”
“His name is Tirek,” Six said, “and why don’t you just go in and grab it?”
“Because the air of that place is poison to those that aren’t demonic or filled with dark magic,” Wyatt answered, frowning. “So if it’s down there, grabbing it won’t be simple.”
Six sat in thought for a moment, “What if you didn’t need to breathe?” She asked, grinning at the now confused human.
“Knowing magic, that shit probably seeps into the skin,” Wyatt grumbled. “Magic proves to throw just as many curveballs as it does conveniences.”
“Can it seep into Rider Armor, because xenomorphs don’t need to breathe, so if it doesn’t, you could likely just use the armor based on me”.
“It does,” Wyatt said, rubbing his temple. “Kuuga and Agito tried that a thousand years ago and nearly died.”
“Crap”, Six said, “do you have a friend without pores you’re willing to let borrow the driver?” she asked with the awkward smile that comes with knowing the answer is no.
“The belt only works for me,” he answered, summoning the pair of items and tossing them to Six. “Go ahead, knock yourself out.”
Six decided to humor him and tried to put the belt on, only for it to refuse to latch. “Well there goes that idea,” she muttered, tossing them back to the man. “Best I got is wear a latex bodysuit beneath xenomorph armor and run in screaming yolo. Run out if you start dying.”
“That probably wouldn’t address issue number two: the scores of monsters and demons that call the place home,” he stated, resting his elbows on his knees. “Some of which are Kaiju sized.”
“Ummm, yeah, just hope it’s in a bush outside the door then. I don’t care how many planets you can end, at our size Godzilla wins,” Six added, the sisters seemed content to just sit and listen to the two ramble nonsense.
Sighing, he ran a hand through his hair. “Yeah, here’s hoping. I might wind up becoming useless if I can’t go Decade Complete.”
“Maybe you can find a way to make a K-Touch, someone had to make the first one,” Six said.
“If it was anyone, it would’ve been Dai-Shocker,” Wyatt informed, summoning his buckle. “In the show, Decade lost his memory that he was the original leader of the group. But, I get the feeling the K-Touch exists because of me. It’s linked to my powers after all. It just didn’t come with me from the start because that’s not the tradition with riders.”
“So riders get stuck Metroiding?” Six asked as a joke.
“Sorta,” he replied, letting the buckle disappear. “Riders never start with their final form. Sometimes we earn it or find a way to develop it.”
“So you can’t just Final Form Ride yourself like you did me, suddenly being a xenomorph sounds pretty good huh?” She asked.
“Nope, and even if I could, the final form card for Decade does something different than the K-Touch transformation.”
“You can have two final forms?!” Six asked incredulously. “That’s not even the least bit fair, sorry I can’t help out with the K-Touch. Unless we want to go to your world and see if magic demon fart can kill me”.
“I’d rather not put you at risk like that,” he dismissed, sitting up. “But thanks for the offer.”
“I’m pretty durable, though I’m glad you’re not in the game of betting with other people’s lives.”
“Yes, that is quite a relief,” Celestia chimed in. “I’m not fond of the idea of Six dying in another universe. I don’t want to risk the facehugger starting a multiversal war.”
“Nah, I never gamble with other people’s lives,” he assured, waving his hand in a small circle. “I save that for my own.”
“A good philosophy for a hero,” Luna added, “so long as one knows when it is best to make a tactical retreat.”
“That’s why I have my Twilight,” Wyatt told her with a grin. “I let her do the tactics, I just punch bad guys.”
“How often do you wind up in the hospital?” Six asked, looking at him.
Chuckling nervously, he rubbed the back of his head. “Oh you know… not too often.”
“Not only is there the fact that you are a terrible liar”, Six said. “ I can also smell the pheromones produced when people lie.”
“Okay, so I go quite a bit,” he relented, slumping in his seat. “But a couple of my visits had nothing to do with my rider duties.”
“You need to stop rushing in without a plan, because one day you may not come out the other side with something the hospital can fix”, Six said. “Unless you want to take a chance and see if you also respawn.”
“I already had my wakeup call,” he told her, his expression turning serious. “Dai-Shocker has a Rider named Lupin; he put Spike, a displaced Link and me in the hospital. He could’ve killed us but chose not to. That’s why I’ve been training.”
“Good,” Six said, “next time you see him, use the xenomorph armor on him, in a dark environment, he’ll never sleep again.”
“Oh, we’ve seen him again since then,” Wyatt told her, his grin returning. “Spike fought him to a stalemate by using a combo.”
“You said Spike was OOO, but I’m a Kamen Rider noob. What are his powers and what’s a combo?” she asked.
“OOO’s thing was utilizing three coins called Core Medals. Each one has its own power. And by using medals from the same set, a combo, it unleashes their full power,” Wyatt explained, gesturing with his hands.
“That’s really cool, any side effects of using a combo?”
“They’re physically taxing and can drain you if you’re not careful,” he added.
“Damn, guess it’s fair that that kind of power should come with a price,” she said.
“Perhaps we should interrupt this conversation with a party, else we may spend the rest of it in here,” Luna chimed in, rising from her seat across from Six.
“Sounds like a plan to me,” Wyatt agreed, hopping out of his seat. “I could grab some more cupcakes before I leave.”
“Yeah, I suppose we should get you home soon, we have no idea how long it’s been in your world”.
“It hasn’t been long here, I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about,” he dismissed, heading for the door to the party proper.
Six followed him out into the party, which was still in full swing, silently hoping to herself that she wouldn’t be blamed if he was wrong. They mingled with the rest of the party, having fun and eating sweets til the party started winding down. Wyatt said it was about time he headed home whilst stuffing a paper bag full of cupcakes. So he and Six bid everybody goodbye as the walked out to a secluded part of town near the everfree were nobody would see the portal.
“Well, guess I’ll see ya later, I wish you luck with the K-touch,” Six said, trying to smile, which as a xenomorph is pretty difficult.
“Yeah, thanks for that,” he replied, giving her a two finger salute. “If you ever need me again, don’t hesitate to call.”
“Same to you,” she said returning the salute with a chuckle. “Or if you just want to talk to the most intelligent xenomorph alive,” she added before saying. “Wyatt our contract is complete”.
The portal appeared in front of the young man. With a wave, he walked through, disappearing from sight.

A Dragons Questions
Spike looked himself over in the body length mirror in the bathroom. His scales were purple aside from his front, ear fins and spikes, which were all various shades of green. And as Wyatt had said he had nipples, yet as far as he knew, dragons were reptilian. Twilights books had proven useless on the subject, as ponies apparently knew next to nothing about dragons. His birthday had raised even more questions as stories and pictures proved that in his colossal state, his nipples were gone.
His musings were cut short when twilight called, “Spiike! C’mon we gotta go.” Spike picked up his clothes and got dressed, once again forgoing the shirt. Leaving the bathroom he made his way to the front where Twilight was waiting for him with the cart of food he had prepared the day before.
“Chill,” he said, “we have plenty of time.” Pointing at a checklist he produced and then the clock to show they were ahead of schedule. They had been invited by Rainbow to watch the dragon migration passing over Ponyville. She had asked Spike to make snacks for everyone, in return she had allowed Spike to invite Big Mac and Six. Though inviting Six had been her idea. While Spike was unaware, Rainbow had been told by Twilight that Six seemed interested in the young drake, at least from her behavior at the few O&O games Twilight had walked in on.
“We still need to meet Six at the train station,” Twilight countered. Spike, checked the list, sure enough, he had accidentally checked the box that said pick up Six. Without another word he was out the door, Rainbow standing there waiting and looking grouchy.
“What’s up with you?” He asked as all three ran for the station.
“Fluttershy bailed on us,” Rainbow said with a shout.
“Hah,” he replied with a smile, “you owe me 50 bits.” She slapped them into his hand with a grunt just as they made it to the station. Six already stood on the platform, her hideous features brought a smile to spikes face, as they had become fast friends. “Hey Six, how are things up in Canterlot.”
Six looked at him, giving what was probably a smile. “Going good, Also Tia told me to tell you “mommy loves you””
“I still refuse to be her heir,” he said with snort.
“Once again, she was joking,” Six replied. She leaned over and waved at the two behind Spike, saying, “hi Rainbow, hey Twilight.”
“Hey Six,” they said in unison, “come on, let’s get going,” Rainbow finished. They made it there with no trouble, though they did get there later than even Rarity, just in time to see the dragons. They were off in the distance so spike put on his heart apron and started handing out snacks. Putting said apron on made Six’s brain go fuzzy as it hugged his six pack abs tightly. Making what little was visible, and the thought of seeing him topless, all the sexier. If it weren't for the fact that she was a monster, and to her eternal dismay had solid carapace covering her vagina, she would have made a move.
Spike looked up at the Dragons as they began to pass, prompting his freinds to look up as well. The sight was truly breathtaking, there were so many. Some had noticed they had an audience and had started doing tricks, basking in the ego boosting attention. One Dragoness took it too far and almost roasted the group of ponies, one dragon and one abomination.
Spike looked back down as Rainbow made a snort sound as she finally looked at him, her face singed. “Damn spike, apron may be girly but holy shit that chest.”
“Ohhh yes, Pinkie Like.” Pinkie added, looking away from the dragons as well, at Spike.
He looked at them with a slight blush, "you've all seen me without a shirt, why is the apron more appealing?"
"Well which is hotter to you, a naked mare, or a mare in only an appron?" Dash asked back, smiling at his look that said touché. She glanced at the sky, then back at spike, "mmmm, so much better than all those other dragons." He blushed slightly, but his face held a look of hurt, only Six seemed to take note.
“I-I knew I was different from most dragons,” he said hesitantly, “but am I really that different?”
Rarity went to say something but Six interrupted, “ponies know next to nothing about dragons, so unless you go with for the migration, we wouldn’t know for sure.”
“There’s no need for that!” Twilight cut in quickly, almost yelling. “We can check the library, we may not have much, as six already said, but I’m sure we have something.” This seemed to appease spike, perhaps he had missed something, and Six didn’t like the idea of crushing his hope. They continued to munch and watch the dragons pass overhead for a few hours before the migration passed. Twilight and Rarity used their magic to fill up the hole and everyone went on their way.
Rather than go back to the train station, Six stealthily followed Spike and Twilight, telling Celestia her plan through mental link. She waited till they went inside, then snuck up into the leaves, watching the front door. She waited for morning watching as Dash and rarity walked in, then jumped down a few minutes later as Spike walked out with a hobo bag.
“Ahh!” He shouted as he jumped back, “S-six didn’t you head back to Canterlot?”
“No, after I relayed the events of last night to Celestia, she asked I stay and accompany you if you chose to join the migration.”
“Not happening,” he said.
“You honestly think I’m gonna let one of the crowned princes of Equestria go alone..... or that you could somehow stop me?” She asked. He stepped forward and popped up into front flip over six, planning to run when he hit the ground. However his foot had just made contact with the ground when Six’s tail grabbed his legs and hoisted him upside down in front of her.
“.... I’m stuck with you aren’t I?” He asked.
“Yes,” she replied dropping him unceremoniously onto the dirt. Before backpedaling with a yelp as she realized that he was completely naked. “W-w-why are you naked?!” She asked loudly, covering her face.
“Dragons don’t typically wear clothes according to what I saw yesterday,” he said. “And my scales cover everything up.” Six hesitantly removed her hand, indeed his scale did cover everything, giving him only the ken bump, that did nothing to assuage Six’s blush. He normally would have left her reaction well enough alone, but she had called him weak and dropped him on his head, revenge was in order. “Don’t worry Six, with how you look, you probably won’t see anything,” he said with a shit eating smirk.
It took less than a second for him to regret those words, as he looked up at Six, who stood over him. “Got a problem with how I look?” She said adding a hiss on to the end for good measure and sticking her smaller mouth out. She was so close that spike could smell her breath. It didn’t really smell like anything unless he focused on it, then he could get the barest whiff of the coppery sent belonging to blood.
“W-what, no, you look awesome, no problem here,” he said quick with an awkward laugh. “Please don’t hurt me,” he added after a brief pause.
“That’s what I thought,” she said, before surprising him by sweeping him up into a hug. After a second the other three joined in on the hug and said goodbye to Spike and Six. They returned the gesture and started off after breaking the hug, Spike giving Six an annoyed glance. He soon found himself glad for her company though, it was nice to have someone to talk to, and since she didn’t need sleep she allowed him to do so on her back during the nights as they traveled, using her tail to hold him in place. They made it to the migration spot in just three days, and what they saw was amazing.
Everywhere they looked there were massive adult dragons, some so big that Six was a mere ant to them. Spike noticed a group of teenage looking dragons near the center of the crater. Six got an uneasy feeling, she knew she had watched this episode, but all she remembered was that as jacen she had cried himself to sleep the night it was released.
She shook the feeling off and looked at spike “so are we gonna head in or what?”
“Yeah, but, do you think you could stay here and just come out if I need you to? I’d still like to do this alone,” spike said,
“If I sense even a slight threat I’m coming out, no one hurts my friends if I can help it.”
Spike sighed in defeat, he knew from O&O that there was no arguing with something like that, “ok, fine.”
He began walking out to the group, they were all around the same height as Six, with wings, and not a one of them had nipples. They were wrestling with each other when he got down there. “Hello there, my name is Spike.”
A purple one with yellow spines that drooped over his eyes came up and said, “you sure it’s not shrimp!” Causing the rest to laugh.
“Dude c’mon, you’ve only got like a foot on me, and probably weigh less than half what I do,” spike retorted.
The red one, who appeared to be the leader, laughed harder as the rest stopped. “He’s got you there!” He said between laughed, pointing at the purple one. After he calmed down a bit he said, “hey Spike, my name’s Garble, the twig is Fume and the giant here is Clump but we call him Tiny,” he pointed towards the purple one and then a decidedly not tiny brown dragon. “Haven’t seen you around before, where you from?”
“I’m from Equestria.”
All the dragons burst out laughing, “so that’s why you look so pony-ish,” Garble mocked. “You probably don’t even know how to shape shift.”
Spike blushed a bit in embarrassment and said, “no, but I would love to learn.”
“Why would we share dragon knowledge with a pony, if you want us to teach you, you’ll have to prove your a dragon!” Garble said still laughing.
“W-what do I have to do.”
“Hmm,” Garble said putting a thinking face on. “I got it, test one, fire belching.” Several dragons belched out bursts of flame, ending with Tiny, who released by far the largest gust of flames. “Think you can top that?”
Spike concentrated on forcing a belch, but at that exact moment... Celestia sent a letter. Back at the palace she and Luna giggled at how they probably just made him the single coolest dragon. If fact the dragons had just tossed the letter into a lava
flow, laughing at Spike for being pen-pals with a “namby-pamby pony princess”.
Back up on the ridge Six looked on, silently waiting for Spike to require her help.... and perhaps taking note of the figures of a few dragons and dragoness’s. Her thoughts on how hot some of the dragons who took a more pony form were, was interrupted by a voice from behind. “Greetings creature.”
Six looked back to see a green dragon with a sky blue underbelly, in a form similar to Spike, but larger and with wings. He was muscular, but not overly so. He had a face more beautiful than a sunrise, and a spike adorned the tip of his tail. His spikes formed long golden locks that framed his face perfectly, Six had to hold her tongue as she saw this draconic god. “Hello,” she said nervously, trying desperately not to stare at his perfectly chiseled chest. “C-can I help you?”
“In a way,” he said, his voice was elegant and deep. “You see, it’s not everyday one sees a female so exotic, and so beautiful.”
“Beautiful? No offense to your taste, but I look like an insectoid demon from the pits of Tartarus.”
“None taken,” he chuckled. “Though you speak the truth, your form tells of danger, a barely contained proclivity for death. To a dragon like myself, there is little more alluring. That’s the beauty of, well, beauty, it’s in the eye of the beholder.”
“Thanks, but flattery will get you nowhere, it takes more than good looks and honeyed words to get me in bed. Not that you would want to anyway, my fun bits are covered in a layer of chiton.” She said in a more comfortable tone, though she did her best interpretation of a grimace, she was VERY unhappy about that fact of her anatomy.
“I’m sure we can find a way around the later part, as for the first,” his smile turned cruel. “You act as if you have a choice.” Six flinched at that as her mind was consumed by her mother’s sultry voice you act as if you have choice.
She shook her head, freeing herself from the unwanted memory. Seeing the dragon approaching her, she instantly had her tail at his throat. “Back off,” she growled with a shriek. “Or we’ll figure out just how tough your scales are.” As if the world wanted her out of that situation she heard Spike screaming and dashed off towards him, leaving a still smiling dragon.
“Oh, play hard to get all you like, you will belong to me, no one refuses Magnus.”
Six arrived near Spike’s scream, next to a lava pool, just in time to see him finish the mother of all belly flops with a wet slap. Six cringed as best a xenomorph could. The dragons however were now staring at Six, in a mixture of confusion and surprise. Fume leaned over to Garble and whispered, “dude what the fuck is that.”
Before Garble could respond Six did with, “first off I’m a she not a that, and secondly I’m Six, bodyguard for the Equestrian Royal family.
“So what are you doing here?” Fume asked.
Spike answered first, “Princess Celestia adopted me,” he said sheepishly. “She found me abandoned as an egg, and started taking care of me.” He looked at them expectantly for a minute, “you guys gonna laugh, I’m the son of a pony princess and completely failed to prove I’m a dragon with that jump.”
“What?” Garble asked. “No way man, no pony could survive that bellyflop. For a pony prince you’re definitely no pony.” They pulled spike off and performed some stupid initiation rite involving walking under their tails. Then they all started partying. After a while Garble pulled spike aside, “so, you wanna learn to shape shift?”
“Absolutely,” Spike enthused, smiling widely at Garble.
“Ok dude chill, don’t be going all pony on me.”
“Yeah,” Spike said, taking on a neutral expression. “I mean, yeah, whatever I’m here so, might as well.”
“Alright,” Garble responded. “That’s better, though cockiness would’ve been more draconic. Now, the first thing ya gotta do picture the race you want to be, we can’t choose how we look as it. DO. NOT. TRY. It’ll hurt....A LOT. Now just will yourself to become it, it’s really easy actually, my sis accidentally did it as a whelp.”
Spike did as he was told, and while it was slow, he steadily shed the pony aspect. The nipples dissolved into scale, and he grew an extra inch. His already toned body became just noticeably more so, and his rounded claws, teeth, spikes and tail end, became violently sharp. Looking himself up and down he said “I did it,” barely keeping his excitement from showing. “That was incredibly easy, perhaps my time around ponies caused me to subconsciously choose a more equine shape.” He noted to himself, flinching as he looked at Garble.
“Uuuuh, I understood most of those words.” They returned to the party, where six was, at the behest of the dragons, giving an impressive display of strength. Horrifying if you ask spike, as she crushed a diamond to smithereens, with seemingly no effort. It wasn’t long after that the party died down, and then Six heard the suggestion she’d been dreading, a dragon raid.
“Spike, I think it time we head back to Ponyville,” she said grabbing his arm.
“What why, what’s wrong?”
“You shouldn’t associate with people like them, their a bad influence.” For some reason, anger flared in spike, he had planned on saying no, but now. He was here to learn about dragons, and had made friends, and now she had a problem with them.
“Really, and where was that before, they invite me to have fun and now there’s a problem!?”
Six flinched slightly, “t-that’s not what I meant I just think...”
“No! I finally have friends who are dragons, you were fine with them till they suggested going out! Now their a bad influence!?
“Don’t raise your voice at me! It’s my job to keep you safe, and this doesn’t sound safe!”
“Im going! I’m a dragon, nothing out there is a threat! It’s just a Forrest!”
“I said no!”
Spike growled, “fine, as prince of Equestria I order you to let me go!”
Six looked taken aback, and perhaps hurt, “of course.... your majesty,” she said with blatant disdain.
“Yo tiny, can I get a lift?” Spike called.
“Not a problem,” Tiny said as he grabbed Spike and took off. They took no notice of her as they flew, even as she gave chase over the craters edge and through the trees. She quickly lost sight of them, she was fast, but she still had to maneuver around trees. At this point she was following their scents, which was difficult because of them flying.
“Spiiiiiike,” she called “where are you guys, c’mon the flying makes it hard to track you!” She kept following their scent, but after five minutes, all she’d accomplished was losing the scent and getting lost. “Crap, where am I?” She looked around, trying to find any sort of land mark, listening intently for the sound of wing beats. After another minute she heard something... something close by... too, close by. It smelled like a dragon at least, but it was familiar, and made her uncomfortable.
She realized why a second later as Magnus stepped out from behind a tree. “Oh good...” she sneered as her mother’s voice once again echoed in her skull, “it’s a dragon with a death wish.”
“Is that any way to speak to your future mate?” He asked In a condescending tone.
“Yeah, still not fucking you, willingly or otherwise.” He strut forwards, clearly not afraid of her, she got into a fighting stance. He continued his strut undeterred, making his way directly towards her. She held her stance, she had to hold there, if she ran now she wouldn’t stop, she didn’t show it, but she was terrified. As he came within a foot of her she lashed out with her tail, intending to cut his scales from his ribs, she didn’t even see his hand move as he caught it.
He smiled smugly and laughed, “if I was a normal dragon.” He paused and yanked her forward, punching her hard in the chest and she felt he chiton shatter there, bits of it shotgunning around his arm. “That would have killed me,” he finished never ceasing his smile. Six struggled to breath, she could see countless bits of chiton around her, and she could her the sizzle of her blood beginning to eat a hole in the ground.
She tried to tell him to fuck off, but as she did she coughed, and her blood lightly sprayed the ground in front of her. “As the last living child of Tiamat,” he said, slamming his foot into her arm, instantly breaking it as she screamed in agony. “I ALWAYS, get what I want.”
A little ways away a group of dragons and three ponies stopped glaring at each other as they all heard a scream. “The heck was that?” Rainbow asked looking towards the sound.
“That sounded like a scream to me,” Tiny said. A bad feeling had been growing in spike for some time, at first he thought it was the dragon raid. But as he heard that scream, it suddenly felt realized.
“Hey Garble,” Spike asked, “I know we’re not seeing eye to eye at the moment, but what do male dragons typically see as attractive?”
Sensing the seriousness and not wanting to meet the business end of Twilight’s scythe, Garble decided it best to comply. “Most guys look for power and strength in a saura, as well as independence. Twilight, seeing where this was going, asked, “and what happens if the saura says no.”
“Nine times out of ten, a show of force, basically he’ll try to beat her into submission and claim her, while she tries to kill him.” Spike took off in the direction of the scream, Rainbow, Twilight, Rarity and the dragons close behind.
Six was not doing well, her chiton was cracked and shattered in various places, and her arm hung painfully at her side. Magnus was bruised, and bleeding from several deep gashes that would definitely require treatment, but he was still much better off. She outclassed him in speed, but that was it, limiting her to mostly evasion.
To put it lightly spike did not like what he was seeing. “Hey, get away from her!” Spike yelled, charging forward, intent on putting his fist in Magnus’ face. He never made it as he bounced off an invisible barrier with a sound not unlike tapping on a window. “What the hell!?” He seethed, getting up and beginning to beat on the wall. Magnus took no mind and continued his advance on Six.
“It’s a show of force dude” Tiny said.
“No one’s getting in or out unless they intend to claim her.” Garble finished. Looking back to the scene before him Spike’s blood ran cold. Six had been knocked to the ground ten feet away from Magnus, a fresh shattering on her back.
“How do I claim someone?”
“Spike no!” Twilight said stepping forward.
“If I don’t he will, he’ll take her against her will, he’ll rape her... I can’t let that happen, so again. Garble, how do I claim someone!?”
Six made another deep gash on Magnus’ side, his blood wasn’t the typical red, but was instead a dull gold. Proof of his deific bloodline, confirming him as a demigod. He was about to deliver another chiton cracking punch when he heard a voice from his left. “I wish to challenge the claim.”
Magnus glared at the purple welp, he was more muscular than Magnus, despite being younger. Magnus rushed forward, intent on launching him into a tree with his deific strength. However spike took the punch, stumbling back slightly he composed himself quickly and kicked Magnus back hard enough to make him stumble.
“How?” Magnus asked dumbfounded, “I’m the last of the first born, how are you able to take a hit like that?”
“Don’t know what the first born are, but I do work out a lot.” Spike shot his eyes towards Six, she was up against a tree, breathing, and using her chitinous vomit to secure her arm. Magnus leveled a glare at Spike.
Taking in a breath he let out a mighty yell of “it’s no matter, I’ll simply have to actually fight. FUS RO DA”. Spike was sent flying and with another shout of “WULD NAH KEST”, Magnus ran to where he would land in the blink of an eye. He caught Spike and slammed him into to ground, before leaping at Six.
Six however, was prepared for his attack, and ducked under him, scraping her claws against his ribs and through the flesh and scales of his chest. He landed in a roll that brought him to his feet, clutching the five new gauges, through which his ribs could be seen.
Outside the shield, the three ponies pushed futilely against, Twilight’s standard purple was now a light pink, and her mane and tail flickered with flames. Rainbow continuously shouted a mix of colorful swears and her desire to challenge the claim. The dragons were trying to explain to her that it only works for dragons.
Spike had gotten back up, and he and Six were pressing the advantage his failed tackle had given them. He had taken enough to know that even a demigod like him would need to take a week or two to rest and heal. Finally he managed to catch Spike’s hand, acting fast he slammed Spike into Six with enough force the rend scale and shatter chiton, they landed ten feet away in a heap and didn’t move.
Twilight had had enough, two of her friends were in danger. And she. Was. Done. Her mane and tail burst into raging infernos, and her skin was now a searing white. She renewed her arcane bombardment on the shield, no longer using spells. Just unleashing a torrent of raw, unchecked mana upon it. Everyone around her stopped to stare as the shield began to bend. Then it began splintering, cracks spidering out over most of the shield.
Magnus stopped his limping advance on the two heaps as it happened. “What could do this?” He asked in astonishment “to break a spell woven into our very biology...” Fallowing the cracks he saw the source, just as the shield shattered, gold shards of mana falling and dissipating.
Stepping forward Twilight left flaming footprints in her wake. Three bright flashes went off, when they faded, the three ponies were holding their respective weapons. “Aw yeah,” Rainbow said, “time to end this fool.”
“I agree,” Rarity added, “it’s high time this ruffian learned not to hurt others. Especially not our friends”
Magnus was now facing the ponies, focusing on the one currently leaving a trail of flames. He did not like this situation, he was staring down what looked like a fire elemental. On top of that he recognized the scythe she held and the blue bladed tonfas the rainbow mare had. Then, of course, just to top it all off, the white one held the biggest fucking gun he’d ever seen.
Six rose to her feat with the aid of spike, she hurt all over. She was in the middle of a fight and quickly realizing that she didn’t really know how to fight. Magnus had his back to the pair, currently looking at the three ponies. Six used the moment to charge forward and plunge her tail through his side. He let out a grunt of pain, and quickly reached back to grab her tail, pulling it from his form. Twilight used this distraction and rushed forward slicing for his neck, purple flames dancing along her scythe. The blade cut through his scales, but only slightly, the flames, magically burning hotter than pheonix fire, searing his scales.
He swung Six around using her to beat Twilight aside. He didn’t get a moment to relax as a bullet the size of a fist tore a hole in his arm with a loud bang. “Ladies love cannons,” Rarity said with a smirk.
He hissed and clutched the area of his arm now missing, thankfully it missed the bone. Not one to let an opportunity pass, Rainbow stepped forward, a cyan glow coating her wings. “Of course she’s a spell wing” he grunted to himself.
“Eat wind dickhead,” Rainbow said swinging her tonfa blades and wings one after the other. Each sending a blade of compressed air into him, she kept up the onslaught walking forward a cocky grin on her face. He took the blows, silently waiting for her to step too close. As she did he quickly stood going for a kick to her chest. He lost balance and missed due to a purple scaled fist hitting him in the side of the head.
He quickly corrected punching Rainbow in the face before grabbing her arm and throwing her into spike. By now Twilight was going for him again, Six about to gash him with her claws and Rarity was pulling the trigger. Before any could land he shouted “TIID KLO UL.”
Time slowed and Magnus made his move, with his deific speed, and time at a snails pace, he moved like lightning. He used Twilight to take the massive bullet, blowing a hole in her shoulder, slowing it enough for him to dodge. He then rammed a clawed foot into Rarity’s gun, sending it on a path into her chin. With 20 seconds left he ran back and grabbed Six and Spike. The latter still in the air, and slammed them threw a tree. Finally he ran a punch that could shatter a boulder into Rainbows face, bouncing her off the ground where she left a small crater.
Time sped back up, Rarity and Rainbow were both immediately knocked unconscious, and Twilight let out a scream. She reverted to normal as she did, wrath replaced with agony, dropping her to her knees. Picking her up by her hair caused her to scream louder, she had proven herself strong, and would make a nice addition to his hoard. “You and the monster shall make strong children,” he leered. He turned pulling her towards Six, who was now unconscious.
Then he dropped her as rage coursed through him. Spike had his jaws around Six’s right collarbone, green fire issuing from the side of his mouth, and a tear of guilt falling down his shamed face. As he pulled away, no wounds were left from his teeth or flames, only a mark. Two rings intwined with each other, one a bright green, and the other purple. The purple one looked like a serpent dragon laying its head on its tail, and the green one looked almost identical to Six’s necklace.
“You marked her so I could not, clever,” Magnus no longer seemed angry, looking only as if he had lost a game, and he was not a sore loser. “Too bad, she would have birthed strong young.” He turned back to Twilight, she once again stood, good arm clutching her scythe. “Frankly, while I would love to claim you as consolation. I don’t believe I can risk you discovering that scythe’s secrets as I am now, definitely not with those two waking soon. I shall take my leave, but know that I will one day have you lavender one, whether you like it or not.” With that he flew off, proven correct a moment later as Rarity and Rainbow regained consciousness.
They said their goodbyes to the dragons, who promised to keep in touch with the three not so namby pamby ponies and one dragon. Twilight then teleported them home, a lot needed to be relayed to the princesses, and they all needed to go to the hospital.

Six gazed up at the castle, she’d been launched a ways away, but was mostly unharmed by some miracle, and still in the city by another. However where she had landed was quite interesting, as she hadn’t seen this place before, it was a small public park wholly unimportant. If it weren’t for the howling stone from Twilight Princess off in a corner, half obscured by a bush. That had to be a token, a rather large token yes, but a token nonetheless. In all likelihood she probably didn’t have long before part of the swarm saw her. Then again the tree cover in this park was rather dense, almost like a ceiling of leaves.
Hoping she was correct in her assumption, she placed her hand on the stone. Oddly enough a tune began to play, she recognized it as the shadow temple theme from Ocarina of Time. In the game you copied the tune by howling, so she began to hiss it as best she could.
All was eerily silent in the hidden brush, until a howl broke through the silence. The center of the ‘eye’ within the howling started to swirl with wind, until suddenly, a red, grey, and grey ghostly looking wolf leaped out from the ‘eye’ over Six, landing with its back turned toward the Xenomorph. Slowly turning its head, it looked at Six, only to suddenly go into a hostile stance when its eyes met Six’s.
Six brought her tail up into a ready stance and hissed on instinct. An absolutely horrible idea, though she had little control over her instincts, so not entirely on her. There was a series of growls in a set pattern, almost as if words were being formed and yet none were understood. The wolf slowly circled Six; its glowing blue eyes studying her form.
She studied him back, taking in his scent as well, not human but similar, mixed with wolf. “So,” she hissed, “gonna let me explain or are you gonna try to kill me first?”
The wolf paused in mid-step, looking in surprise and curiosity of Six’s intelligence. The wolf slowly sat down, allowing its body to relax. Waiting for Six to explain herself.
“I’m the displaced of this world,” Six explained, “I’m the one who summoned you. My name is Six, and by your wolfen form and token, I’m guessing yours is Link.”
Wolf Link nodded to Six before using his claw to write in the ground. “I don’t mean to alarm you, but as part of my token’s functionality, I need to leap into your head to create a mindscape so we may talk privately. Time will be slower there than here.” Wolf link wrote in the dirt.
She nodded her head, “not a problem, but, just so you know, the princesses may overhear, they are connected to my mind.”
Wolf Link writes in the dirt. “Good, better for them to know I’m here than to keep them in the dark.” he wrote before taking a step back. With a mighty leap, Wolf Link leaped toward Six’s mind, causing her vision to white out.
As the light clears, Six found herself face first in what looked to be a floor of clouds. As Six got up, she noticed she was high above Equestria, she was able to see everything, even the mountains where the Crystal Empire is. As Six turned to look ahead, she noticed a figure cloaked in the famous green tunic, however he was also wearing what appeared to be a cape of red feathers and a hood hiding his face.The figure lowered its hood, revealing the face of Link, although with some noticeable differences such as facial hair of a blonde goatee and a mustache, especially the claw marks that went over his face and right ear.
“Hello there,” Six said, “what do we need to cover, because Changelings are invading and I need all the help I can get.”
“Just a small reassurance I can trust you. Also, don’t worry about time as mentioned before, it flows slower here than it does in the real world. You can spend a day here and only an hour would pass in the real world. As you’ve already guessed, I’m Link, or rather a mix of different versions as one but I didn’t have any of their skills upon being Displaced. I had to learn a lot of that the hard way.” Link explained to Six.
“That I get,” she said, “I wound up with a whole new appendage,” she lifted her tail a bit.
“And the body, and the head, and the ability to make more Xenos and among other things..” Link said before coughing in minor nervousness. “I hope you’ve got all that under control? I’d rather not see a facehugger leap out at me..” he said with a frown.
“No need to worry,” she hissed out, with a series of screeches that sounded almost like chuckling. “I’m not a queen, that being said I do have the instincts but I can control those… mostly.”
“Just keep in mind, I will defend myself if I need to.” Link said with a warning.
“Not to worry, I really just end up calling my qu….” She stopped and sighed, before continuing, “the princesses, my queens.”
“Speaking of princesses.. I’d assume they have some questions for me to answer?” Link asked curiously knowing they’d be listening in.
“Well one is in the middle of fighting Chrysalis, but I imagine Luna has some questions,” Six said.
“Indeed we do,” Luna said as she manifested mid stride towards the two. “We assume thou are a displaced, like that handsome Wyatt boy that passed through. Is it possible any of thy enemies followed you here, as his did?”
“None can follow me. Me and the Twili are the only ones who know this magic that allows me to travel the void without harm, thus the reason why I was in wolf form when I arrived here.” Link explained to Luna as he turned to look at her. “..Huh, an anthro Luna. The first time seeing one.” he said.
She eyed him up and down, licked her lips, then shook her head. “Then perhaps thy can provide assistance against the changelings.”
“That I can. I have the magic and the tools to handle any situation as long as it's not some planet-ending threat, otherwise I’d be exhausted by the end of it trying to cast large spells.” Link explained to Luna.
“Just a changeling invasion force,” Luna smirked.
“I’m aware, I’m just not going to guess how strong they are compared to the ones in my world.” Link explained.
“I’m not sure,” Six said, “but alicorns here are gods, lowercase g, and Chrysalis was going toe to toe with Celestia when her daughter booted me out a window.”
“My world also has Goddesses, however three of them have taken on a half mortal form so they may exist on Equestria without their original powerful presence destroying the planet.” Link explained.
“We do much the same,” Luna nodded, “our sister and I are unable to use our full might, lest we level the mountain.”
“This changeling invasion might be quite a threat if you’re having trouble with them..” Link said with a nod.
“Indeed, Chrysalis has been consuming the love Shining Armor has for Princess Cadenza,” Luna said.
“I need to get to the throne room, I need to help Tia,” Six said.
“Then let's get there fast. You have passed the test.” Link said, and with those words the mindscape brightened, and Six once again found herself face down in the ground, but not of clouds this time. Looking up, Link wasn’t a wolf anymore, now standing in his true, hylian, form.
“How fast can you run?” Six asked quickly.
“Freely fast depending on the form. How urgent do we need to get there?” Link asked as he pushed the front of his red feathered cloak to allow his arms to be out and free.
“Well in the show, Chrysalis was able to overpower My queen rather quickly, so ASAP!” Sis shrieked.
Link held his arms out, causing his cape to suddenly sprout red angelic wings. “This will be for just a split moment.” Link said as he walked up close to Six, wrapping his wings around both himself and Six. There was a brief flash of crimson, and the moment he opened those wings, Six noticed they were now in the Throne Room. All around them were bits of scattered red feathers caused by Link’s spell. The red angelic wings shrank down back to their original cape form.
Changelings stood all around them watching in rapt attention as Chrysalis and her daughter battled with Celestia. They relied heavily on dodging, Chrysalis’s swords and her daughter's iron knuckles, doing little to stop Celestia’s morningstar. Even so, they were clearly winning this fight, Six wasted no time. Rushing up behind the princess of the changelings she stabbed her in the side with her tail. Hooking it around where it exited her and yanking her from the fight as the girl screamed. “Remember me bitch!” Six growled.
“Oh look,” the girl responded in barely concealed pain, “the dildo monster is back, and she brought a friend.”
Link reached down at the sheath at his hip, soon pulling out what appeared to be a silvery sword decorated with red, blue, and green gems as Link made his way over to Celestia to assist her. Celestia swung at Chrysalis putting a hole in a wall as the changeling dodged. Using the motion to flow flawlessly into an attack on Link, attempting to gash him with her left hand, sword. Link swung his sword to deflect Chrysalis’s sword, she bounced off his sword using it to alter her momentum. Swinging around she plunged her right sword into Celestia’s side. Celestia growled at the pain, lifting her leg she kicked Chrysalis away. Link stretched his arm out, firing off a Din’s fireball straight at Chrysalis. She tried to spin away but it caught her side, the explosion launching her away a few feet. Celestia nodded to Link in appreciation, launched forward with a flap of her wings, she slammed her morningstar into Chrysalis stomach.
A few feet away her daughter collapsed with a shout, falling unconscious, as Six punched her in the jaw hard enough to shatter Diamond.
Chrysalis grunted as she kicked Celestia back into Link, before standing. “I grow tired of this,” she said, charging her horn with enough magic that the room shook, and firing a lethal bolt of magic at Celestia and Link. It hit her hard in the stomach but only singed her dress, as specks of green liquid burned their skin. Link was taken out of surprise by the attack and wasn't prepared. Taking note of this,he reached into his back to pull out a reflection mirror shield.
Six had jumped in front of the spell and brought up a shield spell of her own. The spell had blown through her shield and ripped a whole the size of a dinner plate in her chest, which absorbed enough to make the bolt a mere hindrance to Celestia. Just as that occurred, a group of changelings carted in the element bearers, and a still struggling Spike.
“H-ha, not, on m-my watch, bitch,” Six said before collapsing, “hey L-Link, keep Celestia safe, till I-I g-get back.” A hiss escaped her as she died, her corpse beginning to dissolve. Link with his mirror shield raise stepped infront of Celestia in prepared, Link’s sword takes on a gentle glow of blue.
“Warrior,” Celestia said, clutching her bleeding side, “I’m in no shape to continue fighting.” Finally taking a good look, it was true, she was bleeding and bruised all over, and her horn was burnt. She was shaking, clearly struggling to remain standing.
“Save your strength.” Link said as he held his shield in front while his sword aimed at her. The glow floated off his sword and rushed towards Celestia, slowly healing her wounds. Link had just cast Nayru’s Care on her.
A shout off the side signaled Spike breaking free from his captors, immolating the changelings that had been holding him, caught in a torrent of green flames issued from his mouth. A few changelings seemingly had enough and went to aid their queen, only for Chrysalis to snap their neck with a flick of magic, “I will be the one to end these fools, do you all doubt my strength!?” She growled.
“I don’t know who you are,” Spike said as he jogged up to Link. “But if you’re a friend of Six you're a friend of mine.” He took up a fighting stance next to Link.
“Not a friend quite yet, but it may lead to that with time.” Link said as he continued to concentrate on his Nayru’s Care spell in healing Celestia the best he could without rushing her body. Chrysalis noticed this, and lunged forward swinging for Link with her swords, while launching her leg at Spike in a powerful kick. Seeing this forced Link to halt his spell, quickly bringing up his mirror shield to block the incoming attack, while Spike used his forearms to block the kick, though it did push him back. He winced at the remaining pain from his fight with Magnus.
He ignored the pain, swinging a punch at Chrysalis as she recovered her stance, knocking her towards Link. The hylian swung his shield, bashing it into Chrysalis’s face. She staggered back, turning as Spike attempted to kick her. She blocked it with one arm, and used the hilt of the sword in her other to bash him in the sternum. This earned her a pained grunt, to which she smirked, while lifting a leg to kick back at Link. Link lowered himself down to catch Chrysalis’s leg using his sword arm. Before Chrysalis could react next, a burst of wind known as Farore’s Rush exploded from his sword, sending her backwards. She corrected herself with a buzz of her wings, grabbing Spike in her magic and slamming him into Link, before landing on Spike's chest as he hit the ground, and swinging a sword at Link.
“Shellblade!” Link cursed as he wrapped his arm around Spike with, shield raised to prevent the sword strike. Spike was clearly lagging behind in the fight, he needed to catch up, like he did with Magnus. That thought gave Spike an idea, he took a moment to remember the words and shouted, praying that it worked. “FUS RO DA!” His voice echoed like thunder, and threw Chrysalis into a wall, cracking it.
“A dragonborn, ha.” Link said in a mixture of surprise and relief as he got up onto his feet to place Spike down.
Spike shouted again “WULD NAH KEST!” he rushed forward in a blink and grabbed Chrysalis, throwing her towards Link. With sword sheath and hand held back, Link quickly gathered up magic in his hand and the second Chrysalis got close enough, he firmly thrust his hand into her chest, causing a dome shaped explosion to erupt, known as Din’s Fire. The fire threw her a few feet away, and to the ground. She huffed, as she stood, her legs shaking with the effort.
“F-fine if I can’t beat you in a fight, I’ll simply beat you with magic,” she growled darkly. With a grunt of exertion, she bagan casting, the gravity increased on the two quickly. Forcing them to the ground as Chrysalis grew visibly skinnier. The floor began to crack beneath them before, suddenly, it stopped. Link slowly looked up in confusion, however that confusion changed to horror quickly due to what he saw. Chrysalis was simply lying on the ground, a facehugger strapped to her head. A few changelings were trying to pry it off while others looked on in concern, muttering about what to do.
“..Well, this went south really quickly..” Link said as he got up from the ground.
“Could have gone worse,” Spike said, “we should probably get some repression rings before these idiots decide on revenge, or the royals wake up.”
Link sheathed his sword and shield “Is anyone, or rather anypony hurt?” Link asked as he looked around.
“Not many ponies were hurt physically,” Spike said and guards began filtering into the room, with the royals out of commission, the changelings had just sort of given up. “But mentally, everyone is going to be afraid for a long time, I’d wager.”
“They’ll also be a little on edge as they think there’s a changeling among them.” Link said as he turned around to check on Celestia’s conditions.
“Technically there will be,” Spike said, throwing a thumb back at Chrysalis. “Once Six wakes up.” Turning to check on Celestia as well he leaned down to help her up. “You ok mom?”
“I’ll be fine Spike, thank you,” Celestia said. Her wounds had stopped bleeding, except for where she got stabbed, though she was still really banged up. With both hands available, Link held them over her stab wound, recasting Nayru’s Care to try and heal it up. She looked to Link, “and thank you, if not for you I highly doubt we would have been victorious.” She let out a small sigh after speaking, as her wounds closed.
“Thank your friend Six. Things could have gotten very ugly if she hadn’t summoned me.” Link said as he got up.
“I will, when she wakes up,” Celestia affirmed, looking over at Chrysalis. Chrysalis had a repression ring on her horn and her hands had been cuffed. “If you’re not used to gore then you might want to step out when she wakes up. She’ll have around half an hour after she does.”
“I’ve had my fair share of it back in my world when monsters double or triple your size wanting to take a bite out of you.” Link explained as he went to lean against the nearest wall. It wasn’t long before the facehugger fell away, and the queen woke up.
“Release me this instant! How dare you cuff me!? Where is my daughter?!” She demanded, squirming in her place on the ground.
“I’d remain quiet if I were you.” Link said with a firm glare. The hylian had yet to meet one sane changeling.
“And why the hell should I?!” She all but screamed.
“You attacked canterlot, you put pony’s lives in danger, attempted murder on the princess.” Link said as he paused to cross his arms. “By not remaining quiet and resisting, you might be making your fate worse,” he explained.
“My fate!?” She spat in confusion, “the only reason you’re not dead, is because of that strange beast, and this ring! So don’t talk to me about fate!”
“Even if Six didn’t help, the outcome would still be the same with you cuffed, kicking and screaming. You’re lucky I held myself back, otherwise you’d have been in a much worse state.” Link warned.
“Please!” She retorted with a sneer, “just get a bit closer, I’ll kill you without magic.”
“Cocky lil deku scrub, aren’t you?” Link said in amusement with a shake of his head.
She scoffed at him, turning to Celestia “release me and my daughter this instant! You’ve won, we’ll leave you alone.”
“I'm afraid that’s not an option anymore,” Celestia said solemnly.
“Oh please, like you’ll kill a downed opponent,” she glared.
“No,” Spike added, “she won’t, but you’re fucked anyway.”
“What do you mean by that?” Chrysalis asked, all cruelty gone from her voice, replaced with an angry curiosity.
“That thing that jumped you,” Spike said, pointing to the facehugger. “It injected a tumor into you, one that will develop inside you, until the friend of ours you killed, pops out. She’ll be back, at the cost of your life.
Chrysalis looked between the three frantically, looking for signs of deception. “YOU LIE!” She yelled when she found none.
“No,” Celestia said calmly, “you’re hungry right? Hungrier than ever before? And not just for love, but physical food too, right?” The queen’s eyes widened in panic, “that’s her. Growing inside you and incorporating your DNA into her new form.”
“NO!” Chrysalis looked at them angrily before looking down, a few tears rolling down her face, “no.” Chrysalis remained quiet for almost ten minutes. “C-can you please have them bring my daughter here, it is customary that a princess watch her mother die. If it’s not in battle.”
Celestia nodded before exchanging words with a guard at the door, he left, and when he returned the changeling princess was with him. “What’s wrong Chrysalis,” the teen said with ice in her voice, “finally do something dumb enough to get you executed.”
“In a way, Formica,” Chrysalis said calmly before explaining the situation. Formica looked confused, on one hand her bitch of a mother was going to bite it, on the other it was still her mother. After several more minutes, there was a cracking sound, and Chrysalis screamed in agony. The sounds and screams carried on for about ten seconds, before a white snake-like being burst from her chest and her screaming stopped. It looked around before coughing up a black goo, and covering itself like a cacoon.
“Jeez, that’s a lot more gruesome than in the movies.” Link said in minor disgust.
“Those honestly sound awesome,” Spike said, “Six said she’ll show them to me if we ever manage to get our hands on copies of them.”
“Oh Spike, if we had the means to find more than just that movie, you’d be bingeng for a year or two” Link said, knowing the history of the real world. It would double or triple the available choice of movies in Equestria.
“Yeah,” he nodded, “she mentioned quite a few movies she wanted to show me, including a series of around nine called Tremors.”
“She has mentioned the same to me” Celestia said, looking Link up and down. “Perhaps we should move to a more comfortable area while we wait for her to molt.”
“I do wonder how she’ll show or even get them.” Link said curiously as he tapped his chin in thought. “..Agreed, and perhaps not let anypony in here to interrupt the progress.” he said with a nod.
“Probably for the best,” she agreed, “I’d hate to find out what would happen if someone broke her shell.” Celestia led them to a small sitting room with tea already prepared. They drank and chatted for about an hour, till Six walked in looking exactly the same as before.
“I checked myself over,” she said, “nothings different.” She sighed, “I was hoping not to kill anyone, but she was a psycho so she had it coming.”
“Does your rebirth only take the body, not the memories? Perhaps there is a reason why she did what she did?” Link asked curiously.
“Not according to her daughter,” She said, “took a second to talk to Formica on the way here, the girl didn’t even want to be here, Chrysalis told her to help, or she’d make a new daughter.”
“Then perhaps peace is possible with Formica,” Celestia said with a smile
“..She has no hatred toward you for what you did?” Link asked with surprise.
“She’s unsure, hated her, but she was her mother,” she said with a shake of her head.
“Well, in a way, you’re now her mother, and of course the changelings will need a new leader. Much like a Zerg, there being no hive mind, the other members will be confused.” Link explained.
“That’s actually it, she’s too young to be queen,” Six said. “According to her, as I have queen DNA, I’m the new queen. But I still don’t know what that DNA gave me.”
“..No shapshifting? No absorbing love? No wings?” Link took some guesses.
“Haven’t tried the love, don’t even know where to begin with shifting, and do you see any wings,” Six shrugged. She went to sip some tea but it splashed over her chiton. She sniffed, then released a noise not dissimilar to a choking hiss. As she did her body was engulfed in green flames. Which died down to reveal an all jet black changeling queen, with a 6 burned onto her forehead and a xenomorph tail. Even her eyes were jet black, no white whatsoever. She was also completely naked, and had a supermodel's body.
She looked down, then up at the three people now staring at her. Before quickly covering herself as best she could, “don’t just stare, help me find a blanket or something!” She said quickly, eyes widened in surprise.
“Right!” Link quickly said as he removed his red feathered cloak to wrap around Six.
“Thank you” She said with a small embarrassed chuckle, “so guess we found what I got from Chrissy.”
“..Chrissy? She’s dead and you gave her a nickname?” Link asked with a raised eyebrow.
“It’s a common one in the fandom, typically used as an insult.” She said, “she did technically kill me, I feel entitled.”
“..Ah, usually adding a y at the end of their name is a form of playfullines or affection, or at least it is in the worlds i’ve visited.” Link said with a shrug.
“Same everywhere I think, but I read a lot of fan fictions where they call her that to antagonize her,” She explained.
“Huh, I guess it's a new thing that’s been going on since my Displacement.” Link said with a nod before getting comfortable in his seat. Six shrugged her shoulders, while Celestia asked a guard to get some spare clothes.
“Thanks,” Six said, as a guard arrived with a change of clothes. She stepped out for a second, when she came back she was fully clothed, and offered Link his cape back. “Thanks for that,” she said as he took it, “and for the help with the invasion, though I’m guessing you probably want to get back to your world.”
“Exactly. Sure, time flows differently in every world, but I’d rather not stay too long in case it's faster. Before I head back, I’d like to offer to unlock an elemental spell or give you one or two magical rings. I’d offer transformation masks but that changeling DNA will do much of that, not including the powers and abilities of that race. This will make your life a little easier as I know how rough life can be when you’ve been Displaced against your will.” Link explained as he reached into his pouch to take out a written scroll of what he can make.
Going over the list she saw two rings that she thought would be awesome. The Maple’s ring, which allows the wearer to meet their universe's version of Maple the Witch, even if it’s not from the Zelda verse. And the Pegasus ring which increases the wearer’s run speed. “You said I could do two rings, right?”
“Exactly.” Link said with a nod.
“Maple’s ring and the Pegasus ring, please,” she said with a smile. “Also how advanced is tech in your world, because it’s up to date here, so if you want a laptop, a phone…. A gun.”
“My world is an odd mix, think of it if Equestria started off the same way as Hyrule, but not all of the events and history follow the same way.” Link said as he held his hands out, soon rotating them as if he was squeezing a ball. A dark purple ball of energy started to form between his hands, slowly spreading them apart as energy shifted and swirled, soon gathering in two concentrated points. With a brief, small, flash, two magical rings manifested into being. The first one was a golden ring with an emerald in the shape of a green feather while the second golden ring had a ruby in the shape of a bowtie.
“Thank you,” Six said, putting the rings on, taking a second to think, “ooh, I know.” She said something to a guard, who walked off, and came back with an odd rectangular device with a handle and a screen. “Sadly I don’t have much you either don’t have or need or want, but I feel like this will be useful.” She said turning it on and handing it to him. “This is a motion tracker, from the AVP game, but magically enhanced, it won’t show you non-aggressive entities. If you go into settings,” she showed him how to work it as she explained. “You can choose between two different screens, the blue one has less range but a larger cone for showing direct positioning, and the green one has a small cone but farther range. Also no need to worry about holding it,” she said as she pressed a small green button, causing the screen to show up in the top right of his vision. “That button is used to toggle the HUD vision on and off, so you just have to have it with you.”
“Could it possibly be controlled from a range? I don’t want to keep bringing it out of my inventory just to use it, it’ll hinder me from holding my sword or shield..” Link asked.
“The guards all use theirs from inside a pocket spell, so I don’t see why you couldn’t use it from your inventory,” Six explained. “Though changing the settings will require you to pull it out, but I can’t imagine you’ll be changing the settings mid combat.”
Link reached out to take the motion tracker as he moved it over to one of his pouches, causing it to shrink down in size to fit in.
“With that it will be much harder for anyone to get the jump on you.” Six Said.
“Thank you, Six, or should I call you by your human name?” Link asked.
“Six is fine,” she said, “I’d much rather forget my human life.”
“But don’t forget all of it. Some of those memories are what helped shape you into what you are today. They are the drive that’s kept you going.” Link said as he clinched his leather gauntlet covered fist.
“My old name only reminds me of those who gave it, and that’s not something I like to think about,” she said solemnly.
“..Oh, bad parents then…” Link said in minor embarrassment. “Perhaps not that one then.” he said as he reached over to pat Six on the shoulder.
“Yeah, perhaps not,” she said with a sad chuckle. “I guess it's about time we got you back.”
“I’m sad to see you go but Six is probably right,” Celestia said walking up. “Though next time you’re here,” she said in a more seductive tone, “we should… get to know each other better.”
“Tia, brain, not vagina,” Six said pointedly.
Link let out a groan. “Not the first time I’ve visited a world that had horny ponies or the two sisters being frisky..” he said in minor annoyance. “I mean you no disrespect but I must decline.” Link said.
“Hmm, too bad,” Celestia said, “could’ve gotten Luna and Six in on the fun, made it a party.”
“NOPE!” Six covered Celestia’s mouth, “I’m sorry about her, she really only thinks about one thing. Ignore her.”
Link’s arms slumped as he stared at Celestia in disbelief. “You’re playing with fire there, Celestia..” he said with a sigh and a shake of his head. “Right, anyways.” he said before looking over at Six. “Just say the words and I'll be on my way.”
“Bye” Spike said, throwing Link a peace sign.
“Keep up your training, dragonborn. There are A LOT of words for you to learn,” Link said as he shook his head at the memory of when he used to play Skyrim. “Actually, let me give you three. I mean, I'm not a dovahkiin but I used to have interest in the language. Vokrii Shun Vahraan. I don’t know if it’d translate into a word of power for ya, but it wouldn’t hurt to try.” Link said before looking over at Six.
“Thanks!” Spike said surprised.
“Wait! Before I forget,” Six jumped, removing a necklace from her neck and casting a quick duplication spell. Putting the original back on and handing him the other one. “That's my token, in case you need some help or just a displaced to talk to,” she said as he nodded in understanding. “Alright then, goodbye,” Six said before giving a small wave. “Link, our contact is complete.”
With those words spoken, a blue diamond shaped barrier appeared around him, soon spinning around him rapidly, before Link blinked out of Six’s world.
