"Alright lets get a move on!" yelled Kessler, as he waved his arm at the moving squad.

As the loud hum of the engines and loud footsteps of the Monitor filled the night sky, the royal fields became a hub of energy as the various machines did their own things. As Kessler's pod started rising into the air, he saw the second one start to rise too and watched a it gracefully hovered at 1,00ft. He looked down and saw the Monitor walking slowly but surely towards its destination. As Kessler stepped back and watched the door close in front of him, h turned around and sat down in his specific seat.

"Quite the life we go here sir" complemented Bobby.

"I honestly didn't think we would be heading out too battle this early" remarked Hans.

"Well I just wanna shoot some more chickens!" exclaimed Erwin.

"Not if I land first" replied John, who got a deathly stare from Erwin.

"Alright enough yapping you two!" barked Kessler as the two quieted down.

"Its going to be a long trip from here on out so get some shut eye. We're going to need all the strength we can get to fight these griffons, even though they may seem inexperienced their numbers will overwhelm us no matter what. And ammo is going to be a problem soon if we just keep on shooting wildly" informed Kessler.

"So what do we do? Shoot until the Monitor arrives? Or go to the front lines and join the ponies in this bloodshed" asked Victor.

"Well....I haven't thought of that yet. I guess we hold them off and provide support for the ponies until the big guns arrive" replied Kessler.

"Uhuh....seems doable" commented Victor.

"Well as long as we're stopping this war, I can sleep better" informed Hans.

"Well, I didn't think griffons were much of a threat to you" remarked Bobby.

"Its not that, every moment they breath means that they are one dangerous enemy to every living being on this planet. And I'm not comfortable with those types of enemies roaming this earth, especially ones that can wield guns" replied Hans.

"Ooook...." replied Bobby.

"Alright get some shut eye you dolts, I don't want you sleeping on the battlefield when the shooting begins" ordered Kessler.

"Yes sir" replied Victor lazily as he closed his eyes.

As the rest of the squad dozed off to sleep. Kessler wen't into deep thought as he wondered what the future would hold for him and his squad. He prayed that there would be no casualties for his men, for he would rain hell on those that would dare attack his friends.

5 hours later.

"5 minutes until landing" boomed the P.A

Kessler woke up slowly with a dizzy head, as he tried to bring back his vision, the pod shook wildly as he tried to sit up.

"Ah fuck! Dammit!" groaned Kessler as he got back up.

"What the hell was that?" asked Hans as he picked up his helmet off the floor.

"Probably turbulence" mused Erwin.

"Are all weapons good to go?" asked Kessler as he looked at the rest of his team, which only replied with a series of nods.

"Good" replied Kessler.

"5 seconds until landing. 4,3,2,1 GO!" barked the P.A.

As soon as the door opened, the squad filed out in an orderly fashion and scanned the area. They found themselves to be in the middle of some sort of open field as they looked at their surroundings and found stallions of all sorts running here and there and camps were set up in almost all directions. There were many stallions holding guns and running towards the wall. Kessler could hear what seemed to be gunfire in the distance, which meant that the fighting has already begun.

"Shit! They've started" said Kessler grimly.

"Well then? Lets start shooting!" exclaimed Erwin.

"Not yet, we need to speak to the pony in charge of this place. I wan't to know the best position for us to use" began Kessler as he looked around. Just then a pony galloped up to him and said.

"Are you Kessler?"

"Uhh yeah? Why?" he asked.

"I am captain Longsword. I heard about you from Canterlot and heard about your ferocious fighting skills. Is it true you liberated Las Pegasus by yourself?" Longsword asked.

"Yep, thats us" replied Kessler.

"Oh thank goodness" said Longsword relieved.

"Where can we deploy so we can start shooting?" asked Erwin.

"Follow me" motioned Longsword.

As the group started following Longsword, they soon found themselves on the wall and saw the battlefield. The lands were charred and bodies were everywhere, both ponies an griffon alike. There were guns and heaps of ammunition lying around but no one would use them. There seemed to be a trench line dug out in the middle which was manned by at least a hundred ponies who were holding the line back against the oncoming griffons and tanks.

"Geez, thats one hell of a fight you got here" complimented Hans.

"Heh, we're never going to hold this front anyway not with this sort of ponypower" replied Longsword.

"Well its a good thing we came when we did" beamed Erwin.

"Alright, get yourselves into those trenches, Bobby, you stay here and provide sniper support. The rest of you get your assess down there now!" ordered Kessler.

As the squad started moving out, Kessler jogged over to the pods and began inputing orders. The pods will fly over to the trenches and deploy the Guard Robots and Panzerhunds, in turn, these machines will lay down cover support and advance on the enemy positions which will force the enemy forces back.

"Lets hope this works" thought Kessler as the pod started taking off. He broke into a sprint and ran out of the walls gates. He ran and tried to avoid machine gun fire as he got closer to the trench. As he jumped in, he was greeted by the rest of his team, who were already unloading their mags into the enemy.

"Took you long enough!" yelled Hans as he fired his assault rifle.

"Eh I had to bring in some friends" began Kessler as he started firing at a group of griffons behind cover.

As the pod hovered overhead the troops, it opened up its deployment hatches and launched the Guard Robots an Panzerhunds. The Panzerhunds were to first to come out and they wasted no time in heading straight for the nearest target. Kessler watched in amusement as he watched the dogs cause chaos amongst the griffon ranks and tore everything apart.

He spun around as heard heavy thuds behind him and saw the Guard Robots taking up a defensive line. He watched as they all prepped their Heavy Laser Blasters and EMP cannons. As soon as the line was finished, the Guard Robots began firing their Laser Blasters and started mowing down the lines of infantry men and tanks alike. The Griffons had air support but were currently engaged by the pegasi who kept them very busy. Kessler returned to the task at hand and began firing his assault rifle at every target he could find. After using up one mag he replaced it with another in one swift motion and began firing again. He wasted no time in killing every griffon he saw.

As Kessler watched as the oncoming forces dwindled he started to relax more, but it wasn't enough as the enemy just kept on coming and coming like they were just throwing their lives away.

"Geez! These guys are like the bloody russians!" exclaimed John who unloaded his missiles into multiple groups of infantry.

"They just keep on coming! Arrghhhh" yelled Victor as he sprayed his assault rifle everywhere, sending bullets in multiple directions causing griffons to break formation and dive for cover.

"How long has it been already?!" asked Erwin.

"I don't know!" yelled Hans through the thick gunfire.

"Look out TANK" pointed Victor at an oncoming Tank.

The moment Victor said that, a Guard Robot turned its arms and faced its blaster towards the oncoming vehicle and opened fire. Which in turn resulted in the Laser cutting through the machine and killing everything inside.

"Another one to the right!" shouted Hans.

This time John aimed his rockets at the tank and unloaded his whole drum barrel into the machine before it exploded into a fiery heap.

"When will they stop?!" asked John angrily.

"I don't know!" replied Kessler.

"Look out!" exclaimed Erwin who tried to shoot at a charging griffon. But was stopped as a whizzing sound popped the griffons head clean off and the body fell.

"Whew" sighed Erwin.

"Fuck I'm nearly out!" Informed Victor.

"Your not the only one" commented Hans.

"Guys we got incoming!" yelled John as a large column of enemies began rushing over the hill.

"Fuck me!" yelled Kessler a he started shooting.

As the trench line erupted in gunfire the sky seemed to glow red which was followed by a red streak which seemed to head straight for the oncoming griffon assault. Time seemed to slow down as the red beam made its way towards the enemy, all around ponies and griffons were screaming battle cries. But none could prepare them for what happened next.

As the red beam hit the oncoming griffon force, time wen't back into its normal mode and the column of griffons were vaporised as a huge explosion erupted where they once stood.

"HOLY SHIT!" exclaimed Hans as he tried to keep his balance from the shockwave.

Kessler watched in awe as the hill that the griffons used to charge over was completely gone an that a huge crater was left in its wake. He looked around saw dirt falling from the sky and everything was quiet. The once noisy battlefield had become silent as a graveyard after witnessing that immense power.

Kessler knew what sort of machine could unleash that sort of thing and he turned around only to he greeted by a familiar robot.

"Well look who decided to show up late" he thought.
