FlutterDash - Beating Hearts

Rainbow Dash looked at the colt in shock. She felt sweat beginning to fall down her forehead and along her snout. She looked over at Fluttershy's house, which was only a couple of blocks from where they were standing but she felt a eery feelong. She didn't know what to say.

"C-can I think about it?"

She asked shakily. Soarin nodded sadly since he knew what was going to happen. But he kept his head held high as he flew away frim her. She sighed and plopped onto the ground, her cyan hooves leaving a indented in the dirt. She had a crush on a certain pony, but she didn't know if they liked her back.

"Dashie!"

A pink party pony called as she hopped into her view. Rainbow Dash looked up and saw the pink earth pony bouncing around. She sighed sadly and held her head high.

"Yes Pinkie Pie?"

She asked , trying to hide the  fact that she was hurting inside. Pinkie Pie looked over at Fluttershy's cottage with a small smile. She turned back to the cyan pegasus.

"Fluttershy is a little upset, maybe you could go and see if she is alright, she's not listening to me"

Pinkie Pie sort of lied. She knew why Fluttershy was upset, but Pinkie had seen that Rainbow Dash was unsure about Soarins proposal. Rainbow Dash looked up at Pinkie Pie and nodded.

"Thanks Dashie!"

Pinkie Pie said cheerfully before bouncing off in the other direction. Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes and then stood up. She shuffle her wings and then flew  down to Fluttershy's cottage. She knocked on the door with a hoof.

"W-who is it"

A fragile voice said from the other side of the door. Dash was hurt that her friend sounded sad.

"It's only Rainbow Dash Fluttershy, now let me"

Rainbow Dash said softly. Her pink pastel maned friend opened the door to find the one and only pegasus she didn't want to see. She sighed and opened the door further, since it would be rude to shut her out. And Fluttershy didn't like being rude to her friends, or her best friend.

"Why are you here?"

"Pinkie Pie told me.."

Fluttershy meeped and hide behind her door. As a blush appeared on her cheeks. No, Pinkie Pie couldn't of told Dashie that I had a crush on her could she??

"Flutters what's wrong?"

Rainbow Dash asked as she walked into Fluttershy's cottage. The cyan mare found Fluttershy in more tears as a red blush was on her cheeks. Rainbow Dash was confused by this and sat down on Fluttershy's lounge, patting the seat next to her. Fluttershy stood up and trotted over to the seat. Then sat down next to her.

"I understand if you don't wanna be friends anymore Rainbow Dash"

Fluttershy said not meeting her friends gaze. Rainbow Dash rose a eyebrow in confusion.

"What ever do you mean, why would I hate you?"

"Because you know I have a crush on you and you don't have a crush on me!!"

Fluttershy snapped . Rainbow Dashes eyes widened. Fluttershy thought that Pinkie Pie told me that... Wait Pinkie Pie knew that Fluttershy had a crush on me?? Since when does Fluttershy have a crush on me, I'm so stubborn and cocky.

"Um Flutters, Pinkie Pie didn't tell me that.."

Rainbow Dash said awkwardly. Fluttershys eyes widened as she made a squee sound and her beetroot face with her mane. Oh my Celestia I am so stupid, I should of know Pinkie Pie would never tell her.

"W-what, then what did she tell you?"

"She told me that you were sad, nothing more... And um Fluttershy, is what you said true. You know, about you having a crush on me?" Fluttershy looked down at her hooves and sighed softly.

"Yes!! Ok there I said it!!"

She snapped again. Rainbow Dash jumped and looked back at her yellow pegasus friend. Rainbow Dash formed a small smile on her lips. She was about to speak but Fluttershy beat her to the chase.

"I have liked you for a long time Rainbow, I just didn't know how to say it to you!!" Fluttershy sighed again as she began to pool out her feelings.

"I think I first started feeling for you when you stood up for me at flight camp. You know, the day when me and you both got our cutie marks. Then you coming down and living in Pony Ville with me just made my feelings get bigger"

Rainbow Dash just stared at her friend. She never knew Fluttershy had a crush on her, let alone when they were little. Rainbow Dash smiled turned soft and comforting as she began to lean closer.

"I'm so sorry!! I was trying to get over you, but I just couldn't d-"

She was cut short when a pair of lips connected with hers. Her eyes dilated as she saw the cyan pegasus with her lips on her own. Her boush had begun to be more visable.

The kiss was short but it was all Fluttershy needed.

"Well you see Flutters, I sort of have a crush on you too.."

A deep red crimson was now visable on Rainbow Dashes cheeks. Fluttershy's mouth dropped open as she looked out her window. Where she saw a smiling Pinkie Pie. Fluttershy squeeked and squeezed RD hard, while pointing her hoof out of the window.

"Ah,  I should of know Pinkie Pie would set this up"

Dash said with a small smile. The pink party  pony jumped through the window and landed in front of them. They looked at her with confused glances.

"Awww , that kiss was so adorable!"

Pinkie Pie chimmed, which caused the two pegasus mares to blush like crazy. Then she turned and looked at Rainbow Dash with soft eyes. They were more confused now.

"Now I need your help with this certain pony I have a crush one!!"

The two pegasus mares exchanged glances before staring at her. Then they nodded with a smile.

"Sure, who is it Pinkie Pie?"

Rianbow Dash said with a small, confused smile. She blushed like crazy before scratching the front of her left hoof with her right hoof. She had worried eyes.

"Well, she's a pegasus.." Pinkie Pie didn't have to finish

"Shadow Hunter!!!"
