Three young ponies, one orange, one yellow, and one white, who were usually crusading around Ponyville despite having their new cutie marks, were headed to princess Twilights castle. It had been there for a while, but it still took everyponies breath away. Including Twilight's. The fillies reached the foyer, and... "Princess Celestia!" said Sweetie Belle. "Hello, my little ponies. I'm sorry, but princess Twilight will be very busy for a while. Would you like me to tell her you were here?" "O-oh," said Scootaloo. "No... we'll come back later." "Mah sister will be expectin' us soon, we better start headin' on back." The three fillies trudged away. Meanwhile the princess started to knock on the door. Twilight opened the door. "Oh! Princess!" "I'm sorry for the unannounced visit, but I was rummaging through Star Swirl's library, and I came across an interesting spell. Could you try it out?" Twilight took the scroll containing the spell and thanked the princess. The airshow was to start soon, so Twilight started to leave. But just as she was about to leave her castle, she heard a voice outside the window...or three voices, for that matter. "Sheesh, Scootaloo, could you be a little louder? I'm sure there are ponies about a mile away who didn't hear you." "Sorry Sweetie Belle, but not everyone is as graceful as you." "Hey. Y'all be quiet. Twili' will hear us!" Twilight was amused by this. "Now why wouldn't you want me to hear you?" The fillies yelped. "Ah told ya to be quiet!" "Umm... sorry, Twilight. We'll just... go now," said the other two crusaders in unison. The fillies were running away, in fear that they were in trouble because they had overheard a conversation between two princesses. Twilight watched them run away until they were lost in the distance. She remembered when she was that young...She made a mental note to visit her family later that week. she was still thinking about her childhood as she flew up to the Cloudaseum. She was early, so she got to watch the Wonderbolts warm up. "Hiya' Princess Twilight!" "Oh...Hello Spitfire. Good lu... uh, break a le... wing? She felt stupid. She was a princess. She looked, but she didn't see Rainbow Dash. Or...was that her underneath that mountain of Wonderbolts stuff? She flew over and removed the top few layers. Twilight saw Rainbow Dash asleep holding a Soarin' plushie. Twilight woke Rainbow up. She looked Rainbow sternly in the eye and spoke, "Rainbow Dash, as the Princess of Friendship, I have the right to ban you from the merchandise stands!" The two ponies looked each other in the eyes, then without warning, they burst into a fit of giggles. "Oh! Its almost time for me to announce the opening of the airshow! Bye, Rainbow!" "Bye, Twi." Twilight flew and took her place in the throne. Using her magically enhanced voice, she shouted: "FILLIES AND GENTLE COLTS, ITS MY HONOR TO WELCOME... THE WONDERBOLTS!" The crowd roared as the Wonderbolts entered the arena. "AND EVERYPONY, PLEASE ENJOY!"

Growing smaller and smaller. When the bright light subsided, what Sunset saw was enough to make anypony's jaw drop. Sunset started to pace. What was in front of her was...was...well, she certainly didn't know what to make of it. I-it wasn't possible. Twilight had just mispronounced ONE WORD! And the result? The result was disastrous! If she could get a letter to Princess Celestia... Sunset thought that would be the best choice...But how? I don't think Twilight's dog... er, dragon is around Sunset thought. She cantered over to the library. She skimmed the shelves. "No, no, NO! There must be a book here!" She was now frantically searching every room in the castle, including one that consisted of mirrors. Why Twilight would need so many mirrors, she had no clue. After getting lost a million times, she decided to go back. Maybe when I get back, it will be back to normal and I can go back to school. When she got to the doors, she took a deep breath, and pushed open the doors. She looked at what had become of the rest of the group. They were the same ponies as when she left. She took a slow shaky breath. She was looking at six small fillies.

Pinkie Pie...I don't know...she would ask around, see if anypony knew. I know Applejack's family lives around here. She made her way over to Sweet Apple Acres. Once she got to the gate, a little yellow filly greeted her. "Hello! You new in town?" "Uh...Yes. Now please excuse me Applebloom, I need to see your brother." As Sunset walked on, two more fillies joined a confused Applebloom. "Do you know her? How did she know your name? How did she know big mac?" Asked Scootaloo "Ah don' know..." Said Applebloom Sunset walked around to the back of the barn. A red stallion was pushing barrels onto a wagon. "Big mac?" "Eeyup." "I'm Sunset Shimmer, a friend of Twilight's. There was a little Incident with a spell she was casting. Applejack was there too-" "Is Applejack alright?" "Umm... Health wise, yes... it's best you come with me. But first I need you to help me get some ponies. Do you by any chance know anyone related to Pinkie Pie?" At this Big Mac's face went completely pink. "Eeyup" "Could you go retrieve one of her sisters? I need to go get Shining Armor." They walked to and boarded the Ponyville Express. When the train stopped at Canterlot, Sunset got off. "Remember, one of the Pie's" The train started to move. Sunset started to walk towards the center of the city.

They made their way back to the train. On the train she saw Big Mac sitting next to TWO mares. One had a grey coat and lavender mane (she seemed to be the older of the two), the other had a lighter grey coat and a long dark grey mane. "Hello" Sunset said, introducing herself "My name is Sunset Shimmer. There-" She stopped herself. Did she really want the same conversation three times in a row? "-There was an accident in Princess Twilights castle, Pinkie Pie was there-" The younger one gasped "-She is okay, but...Its difficult to explain" She said, avoiding a long drawn-out conversation. "My name is Maud" Said the older one in a bland, monotone voice "Her name is Marble, and this is Boulder." She held up a small grey pebble. An awkward silence overtook the group. When they pulled up, Rarity, Rainbow and Fluttershy... Sunset thought... Rainbow never speaks of her family, so all she could go off of was Scootaloo. Rarity's parents are never really in town, so Sweetie Belle. She found herself right underneath Cloudsdale. She used a spell that Princess Celestia had taught her so long ago. Slowly, she lifted herself off the ground, and up to Cloudsdale. Twenty minutes later, She was floating down with a rather tall Pegasus. As promised the rest of the group was at Sugarcube Corner, including Big Mac and the Cutie Mark Crusaders. "Everypony, Meet Fluttershy's brother, Zephyr breeze." Announced Sunset Shimmer. There were a couple greetings mumbled before Zephyr said "He-llo every-ponay! Anypony care to tell me what's going on?" "As most of you know..." Sunset began. The group was walking back to the castle, having been filled in on the situation. Sunset opened the door to the castle, and then to the library. When she looked into the room, they were gone. Gone. Not there. she turned to the group. "Do any of you know where six fillies who don't even know each other would go if they escaped a room they were locked in?"

"Sorry, but I need to talk with the pony Twilight" Sunset Shimmer made her way to the portal, took a deep breath (she was still kind of new to the whole interdimensional-traveling thing), and ran into the portal.

I'm in the library." The 6 mares made there way to their favorite spot, in front of the portal mirror. It was currently slowly swirling a purplish color. "So girls, I know you are probably wondering why I called you here-" Twilight started. " Yeah, what could possibly be SOOO important that we HAD to be here?" complained Rainbow. "Princess Celestia gave me a scroll to study and try. I skimmed it, and it appears to be a different sort of time spell." "I was in the middl-" Before Rarity could finish, the portal started quickly shifting shades of pink. "Twili', Ah don't think that's supposed to be doin' tha'..." Everypony but Twilight was confused. "Everypony back up" She said, "give her some space" She looked up to find the confused stares of her friends' "There is nopon-" Started Pinkie, but before she could finish a jet of scarlet and gold came shooting out of the mirror. The ponies recognized those colors. All but Twilight and the new pony took up fighting stances, though they lowered them as the pony sat up. Instantly Twilight sprang foreword and wrapped her hooves around the pony on the ground. "Sunset!" "Oof- Ouch, Twilight, too tight." Wheezed Sunset. Twilight broke free, blushing. "Sorry... I guess you kinda know my friends... er..." She said "Sunset, my friends. Friends, Sunset. You've heard about her" "Yeah... the THEIF" Rainbow huffed. At the sound of this Sunset shrank back. "Rainbow! I've told you! She has changed! Now, Sunset. Why are you here? Is there something wrong at CHS?" 'No, everything's fine... too fine. And BORING! No excitement what so ever. So I came here." Sunset used magic to teleport herself up. She walked around the library examining book and making small comments like, "Is this new?" or, "I need to read this one!" Once she finished she went back to the group. "Did I interrupt anything?" She questioned. "No... Twilight was about to do some egghead stuff. Quite boring." Said Rainbow, yawning. "That is NOT true, Rainbow, I was going to try something Celestia gave me." Said Twilight glaring at Rainbow. "Now... I think we should get to it." Twilight brought the scroll over and began to read it.
