My Little Splatoon: Turf War is Magic
"Hey, hey, you okay"? "Come on, wake up, wake up..."
"This is NOT going to work". "There probably not even alive".
"Shut up, Bigfin". "We can save her. Or him. Not sure."
I start to come-to, my eyelids slowly opening as I make out a figure. It's tall, skinny, and stands on what i could see to be two legs. Almost like someone from Canterlot High. I close my eyes again, don't have enough energy to do so. Untill I see a pony, or what looks like a pony, walk up to them. I immediately sit up in shock. The two species weren't ever supposed to meet! I look around frantically, thinking it was just some crazy illusion. But I'm not in my bed in my castle...
"Oh GOD that scared me. Next time, Humboldt, DON'T bring me on your life saving missons."
I look over to where I hear that voice, and I'm caught looking at two people, a human, and a pony. I'm almost hyperventilating from 1, waking up in some crazy alleyway, and 2, A HUMAN AND A PONY RIGHT NEXT TO EACHOTHER! At the time, I thought that trying to fly away was justified. But as I got about 5 feet in the air, I feel a great pain in my wing. I fall to the ground and try to soothe it with my two front hooves. I look back over at the two, my face saying, "Get me to a hospital right now, I'm dying". Naturally, they have a expected disturbed look on my face. But it looks more like confusion to me. One of them whispers, "did their wing... just break"?
"Oh god I think it did". "We need to get them to a hospital".
"We cant do that"! "Wings dont break here."
"Oh..... yeah, right." "Forgot about that".
The pony sighs., Walks over to me, and tries to heave me on their back.
"Dude, I think these wings are real." "Like, not metal".
I'm looking towards the sky. Except the crazy pain in my wing, It's a pretty calming moment. I look over at my left, I see some sort of capsule, protector thing. I remember building it. After some scuffling between the the human and horse, I go from 0 to 60 pretty fast. One minute, I'm looking lazily towards the sky. The next, I'm being carried by somepony I dont know, down a maze of alleyways I don't recognize. This is a pretty eventfull day. I hear some more bickering, then I hear the question.
"Hey, what's you're name"? The pony asked.
"Twilight, Twilight Sparkle". I replied, still on their back.
"I'm Bigfin, Nice to meet you in this time of chaos and peril." I'm guessing you have alot of questions".
"Yeah", I admit. "ALOT of questions for you, and the human".
Bigfin goes silent for awhile.
She breaks the silence. "Whats a... human"?
Im confused. Surely, she knows the species name of what I can only assume is her freind.
"Uh... the person who was right next to you"?
Again, more silence. We finally reach the place that Bigfin brought me to. It looks like the same alleyway I woke up in. She looks around, expecting someone to be there. Thats when the human caught up to us, holding the capsule that I apparently woke up in. it looks extremely heavy. No wonder he was behind.
"Humboldt, I think shes a NATURAL alicorn". Bigfin said
"And"? (I guess their name is) Humboldt replied.
"AND"? Bigfin exclaimed in surprise. "AND we should tell the historians in the city! We'll be rich, popular, FAMOUS"!
Humboldt gave her a "No, were not doing that thing, youre crazy look."
Guess I'll be here a while.
My Little Splatoon: Turf War is Magic
I've never really looked at how Bigfin actually looked. Well, most of the time I was in shock, confusion, and pain, but I can say she has a very... perculiar hairstyle. Her coat is a nice, bright yellowish-orange color that fits her mane colors very nicely. Her mane is orange at the top, and gets darker as it does downward. small, black ovals accompany the tip. It doesnt look very...hairlike though. It looks like, squid tentacles. I blush just at the very thought. UGH! Stupid sci-fi loving, horny Twilight! After a long slience from Humboldt's stare of total disagreement, Bigfin finally, FINALLY says something.
"Well, what DO you want to do with her"? "Leave her left for dead"?
Humboldt sighs. Its a very long and emotional sigh. I can tell that they have been practicing.
"Go get Arowana". "SHE can make a good disguise for her".
Bigfin stares in disbelief at Humboldt. I guessed she's trying to get on Humboldt's "stare-communication" level. Realizing that it isnt working, she runs off in a different direction, looking for "Arowana". Humboldt comes over to me.
"Uh, hi". They say in a kind of dorky, awkward tone. "I'm Humboldt".
I chuckle politely. "Ive figured that out already from Bigfin". "I'm Twilight".
"Bigfin already told you, huh"? They say, joking. "Bigfin is super social". "I knew that she'd warm up to you eventually".
I chuckle a bit, thinking about what I will say next. I know, but I dont know how to word it.
"What exactly, are you"? I ask, turning my head away in embarrassment. I feel like it has a obvious answer, and they are just about to drop a giant bombshell.
"No, what are you"? "I mean, your a pony, but"...
They get interupted by Bigfin running back with what I can only assume is Arowana, carrying a bag around her neck. Arowana also has the same black ovals near the end of her mane. I guess it's just a popular mane-style. Her coat is a light pink, almost like Cadence, and her mane is a lightish purple. Not exactly my coat color, but pretty close. They pull out a couple of what looks like hair products and starts to walk toward me.
"You're Twilight, right"?
She has a bit of a Canterlot acent, very smooth and classy, but with a little pinch of playfullness in it. A very attractive combonation. She could very well pick up a stallion just with her voice.
"Uh... yeah". I stutter. "That's me"!
"Good". She beams. "I'm just going to have to fix your'e mane and tail a bit". "Nobody has this kind of hair".
I wasnt sure if that last comment was a good or bad thing. She starts moving my mane around first. I dont need to sit or lay down, she has super long legs, and she can reach the top of my head just fine. That's when she discovered my horn. I guess she didnt notice it before. She gasps in surprise before she speaks.
"A natural alicorn"? She states, looking over at Bigfin. "You should have told me this on the way here".
Bigfin just shrugs. She keeps on working around with my mane, not really making it fancy or professional, its more function over from at this time. She eventually moves down to my tail. After she is done with that, she gives me a mirror. My mane is now very simmilar to what theirs is, but the top of it stays the same. I realize that she could add the little black oval things at the end, and so quickly too.
"There, you ahould be covered". She says, in a proud tone, admiring her work. "All we'll have to do is get some body gear with wing coverings that fit you, and you'll be set"!
"Why"? I ask. Surely "wing coverings" shouldnt be necessary.
All three of the look at eachother. They all have the same expression that reads, "Should we tell her"?
