The Shootout and The Pre-Arrival

Connor continued to hide behind the smoke wall his gun had produced. It slowly started to get less effective as he narrowly dodged bullets that were aimed at his general area. The bullets bristled with heat and steam as they skidded across the ground.

He quickly ran behind the beechwood table again, and waited for the smoke wall his gun had produced to fade away.
The said table had quite a few bullet-holes in it.

Once it did, he started his routine of firing out the table, then hiding behind it again.
This included him coming slightly out from over, or from a side of the table, and firing, then coming back in if he thought he was gonna get shot.

He thought to himself of a rough estimate by looking that there was about 20 left. He could do this. He could do this. He could do this. He repeated this to himself several times.
His will to pull this off, kept him from surrendering to the Italian Mafia Gang members.

He made a shot from above the beechwood table, and managed to get a head shot on one of the Mafia Gang members.
This was responded to with deep anger to what he had just done.

The said member fell to the floor, a pool of blood surrounding him, the Mafia Gang members looking at the beechwood table with disgust, one yelling in fury.
"We will kill you HERE and-a NOW!" cries of "Yeah!" were shouted loudly by the other members.

They started firing recklessly, all of the bullets missing Connor through the beechwood table.
This was extremely lucky for Connor, as likely he wouldn't have had the strength to keep going.
Even if he did, he would need to get home quick.

Connor used this to his advantage and put a lighter to his gun, and setting it alight. It was now sparking, about to blow, he then threw it like a grenade at the Mafia Gang members.
It quickly detonated with a large explosion, scorching and setting the table alight.

It killed most of the Mafia Gang that was attacking him, the car park he was in was now bloody, as the Mafia Gang ran off, well, what was left of them anyway.
In the background, there was police sirens ringing out loudly.
The table was burning away

Connor got up, then sighed and grumbled to himself "Welp... Better get outta here." He legged it to his house.
He was wearing a brown shirt, a black with white stripes jacket and blue jeans, with white sneakers.
As he ran away it burnt away, the ashes on the ground, smoke rising into the air, fire-ambulance sirens audible too.

EQUESTRIA POV
________________

Twilight had woken up and taken a shower, the crystal clear shiny water had been rolling down her fur, as she washed herself.
Then she dried herself with a brown towel, which had to be washed afterwards as it stunk of Twilight-ness.
Twilight chucked it into the washing basket with her magic.

She went downstairs after combing her hair in the usual way she did, making her hair look casual as usual.
She called, curious if Spike was still awake, unaware that it hadn't been that long since she fell asleep. "Spiiiike?"
Her call was answered by Spike's shout. "Coming!"

Spike ran up to her "Your awake! Uh... Listen, I found a spell in a book that might be what you're looking for, while you were asleep. I... Uh.. will lead ya there!" He smiles as he led her to the book, titled '100 strange but useful spells'. The book was in a brown leather casing, the pages normal white sheets with black writing on each page, with page numbers on each page, marking each page.

Twilight smiled back, her teeth shiny and white. She then responded "Thanks, Spike, You're the number 1 assistant."
She followed Spike eagerly, her cartoony purple hooves moving across the wooden floor easily.

Spike responded with an arrogant remark. "That I am, That I am." He grinned widely at the frequently used compliment.
His arrogance was ignored by Twilight effectively.

Twilight asked next, curiously "So... where's the spell?"
Her question was also impatient. She wanted to get this out-of-the-way, ASAP.

Spike responded, his smile lessening to a normal one. "It's here, RIGHT here." He pointed at the page and paragraph, which Twilight trotted towards.
It was an average page, but it contained the important spell of summoning an alien from another world.

Once she was there, she said with a smile. "I'm gonna cast it then."
Then she started chanting the spell, her horn glowing slowly brighter and brighter.
Her mouth and teeth clenched as she struggled to do the spell.

To be continued...
