When I got into town I got stares, I knew that was gonna happen. What I didn't expect was a hand slapping me square in the face. "What WAS THAT!!??" Twilight yelled. "WHAT WAS IT ABOUT, WHY-"

"Please Twilight, don't bother me about it right now. I'll explain to everypony tomorrow. A lot happened in the forest." I said, she nodded but was clearly still VERY mad at me. "Look I know me not saying what happened probably doesn't make you happy, but let's calm down and get some sleep." I said as I took her hand and started walking to the library.

I saw Faust again tonight and she looked a little too excited. "What's going on, why are you so happy?" I asked, slightly worried.

"The Grand Galloping Gala is coming up soon, here is your ticket!" Faust said holding up a ticket.

I took it and said, "Isn't that the party with all those nobles, no thanks. I don't need more stuck up ponies mocking me, got enough of that with Blueblood" I said.

"Just go. It is important." Faust said.

"Important how? Will there be a pony I need to 'take care of'?" I asked, slightly excited.

"No but I DO have my reasons." She said.

"Whatever, I'll go. When is it?" I asked.

"In three days." Faust said.

"Ok, I'll see you again." I said as I woke up.

I walked downstairs and saw the girls (The main 6) sitting and looking at me "Hey you all, what brings you all here?" I asked expecting to get yelled at for yesterday.

"Fluttershy and Rainbow explained what happened with Gilda while we waited for you." Twilight said. That was all it took for me to stop in my tracks.

"....My behavior was inexcusable, I was rude to a- I.........." Was all I could say as I started to sob. "I was rude, I shou-" Was all I could say before I was slapped by Twilight

"Sh- She was rude if not cruel to Fluttershy, SO SHUT UP." Twilight said, crying.

"We are so so so sorry, we believed what Gilda said, Rainbow....was not the only one who assumed without listening to your side of the story." Pinkey said, her hair flatter than a board. "That was no way to treat a friend!" Pinkey said, erupting into tears.

"Look, its okay, it happened, I'll always have next year to have a good birthday." CRAP I said that out LOUD!

That sent Pinkey over the edge. "That was your BIRTHDAY, I'M SO SORRY NICK!!! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!" Pinkey wailed in sorrow.

"Shhhhhhhhhh. It's ok, Pinkey I didn't say anything until now, I'm sorry." I said. "Now let's all calm down, the Gala's in three days and it wouldn't be a good idea to show up soon after crying like this."

After the girls all calmed down I turned to Rarity "Hey Rarity, can you make me a suit for the Gala?" I asked, holding out the ticket.

"O-of Course." Rarity said, excited.

"Okay, I'll come by the boutique in about an hour, to give you some time." I said, "Is that Okay?"

"That's just fine darling." Rarity said, her composure returning.

"Then I'll see you then." I said. "Everypony else all calmed down?" I asked.

"Yeah we are alright." Twilight said, a false smile on her face.

"....Okay, I'm going for a walk to try to forget that yesterday happened, I'll see you later." I said

(You can end the music about now.)

As I was walking I noticed two colts, one a few shades darker than Rainbow, one an orange-yellow color. "Hellow there, what are you two doing?" I asked

"Were going to see the Great and Powerful Trixie, she's vanquished an Ursa major!!" They both said.

"Well alright, goo-" I said

"Wait, you should come too!" The blue one said.

"Alright, why now?" I asked my self quietly. "Sure, I'll see her." I told the two.

"Come one, Come all and see the Great and Powerful...TRIXIE!!" I heard a light blue mare on a mobile stage bellowed as some pyrotechnics went off at confetti shot out.

I saw and heard many ponies clapping and cheering. During the commotion, the girls got up to me. "Hey Nick, have you come to see her too?" AJ asked, annoyed.

"Yeah, she's not all that she is saying. But I also know that she needs to make herself sound amazing to get a crowd." I said.

"Who said that!?" Trixie asked.

"I did Trixie." I said calmly.

"What ARE you!?" She asked. "And what makes you think I am not as impressive as I say?"

"As to you first question, I'm the one who fought with the elements of harmony against Night Mare Moon, Nick Fitzgerald. The answer to you second question is simple, I know for a fact that you haven't slain and can't slay an Ursa major." I said.

"OH and what proof do you have?" She asked smugly.

"That's easy, I know you don't have enough power to." I said, "and I can prove THAT too, I've felt the kind of power an Ursa has, and it is more than what you have." I said. "And unless you want to fight me and prove it, you can't prove me wrong." I said, a challenging tone in my voice.

"Sorry, but the Great and Powerful Trixie doesn't stoop that low." Trixie said, somewhat smugly.

"Aww come on, not even gonna hit me with one spell? Is the Great and POWERFUL Trixie backing down from that much?" I asked

"That's is. You wanted it, here it is!" Trixie yelled as she hurled magic at me, but I made a purple field and the magic she threw dissipated into nothing. "W-what was that!?" Trixie demanded

"Nick...was that n-null. magic!?" Twilight asked.

"Yes, it was nullification magic, it creates a field that is determined by the user and just about any spell that hits the field is canceled on contact, and the only spells that null. magic DOESN'T cancel were made to combat it, however those spells are all forbidden by royal decree." I explained. "So the only real downside to null. magic is that it takes a LOT of magic power to use, most normal unicorns would run out of magic power making the smallest field of it." I explained.

As soon as I stopped talking Trixie threw more magic at me but I just made another null. field. "The only other drawback null. magic is that it requires a little more concentration than most combat spells." I finished.

"H-how did you use it twice, you yourself said any normal unicorn wo-" Trixie started.

"First of all I'm not a unicorn, and as you can tell now, I have much more magical energy than one." I said smugly. "Now unless you have proof of your bold claims I would like to ask you to leave, your yelling is giving me a headache." I said, annoyed.

"This isn't over." Trixie said as she made smoke appear and "disappeared".

"That's what I'm worried about." I said quietly as I walked away.

"How could you do that!!?" Twilight asked.

"What, show up a complete fraud or null. magic?" I asked

"NULL. MAGIC!" Twilight bellowed.

"Calm down Twilight, it's because....I was taught by Faust." I finished quiet enough for only Twilight could hear.

"WHA-"

"Calm down Twilight, I'll explain to you six later." I told her. "Hey Rarity, let's go get the measurementsover with now since I no longer have anything to do." I said

"Sure, let's go darling." Rarity replied, a little too quickly.

Ignoring the speed of Rarity's response I went with her to the boutique. "Alright just try to make this quick."

"Then I will need you to remove all but you undergarments, to get the most accurate measurements possible." Rarity said, quickly.

"Alright, let's get over with." I sighed as I disrobed. I noticed Rarity staring at my scars, "Hey do you like something you see or something?" I asked.

Rarity's face turned redder than a tomato at that. "O-o- no, not particularly - I mea-"

"Clam down, I'm just playing around." I said.

I stood and waited, only moving when Rarity told me to. "alright darling, that should be all I need, you can come back in about an hour or even tomorrow to pick the suit up." Rarity said.

"Thank you Rarity." I said. I then walked out of the boutique and noticed that the sun was starting to set. "Guess I'll pick the suit up first thing tomorrow, then I'll go to Canterlot." I said to myself as I walked back to the library.

When I got to the library I saw Twilight. "Hey Twilight, you wanted to know how I can use the spells I do right?" I asked her.

"YE-I mean, yes I would like to." Twilight said, barely able to control her excitement.

"Now Twilight, I just want you to know this, regular humans can't do magic. So what I am about to say now is NOT true about other humans. Now that you know that I will tell you (I then told her about my first encounter with Faust, leaving out the part about her boobs, and then when Faust gave me knowledge of magic.) There, that is all I know about me being able to use magic." I explained. Then I heard a loud roar coming from outside.

We ran outside and I saw a blue bear that looked like it was made out of stars that was about 1.5 times the size of a house. "An Ursa minor!?" Twilight said shocked.

Ignoring MY shock on how that is only a minor, I started hearing loud crashes and then I saw a bear that was almost twice the size of the minor and was purple. "Let me guess, THAT is a major?" I asked, after receiving a shaky nod from nod from Twilight I said, "Well, I don't know about anypony else but MY say just got a whole lot better." I said sarcasm filling my voice.

Author's Note

Now, you might have noticed that this chapter is a bit longer than the previous ones, I will be trying to make chapters after this one about this long from now on. However I will be going on personal rules (that if asked about I will share) that I will NOT break just for length.
I got this out a little rushed, if there is anything big let me know please.
