Chapter 1: New in TownView OnlinePower Ponies and WillpowerChapter 1: New in TownThe city of Maretropolis, home to the Power Ponies, the superhero team who defend it from villainy. It's a pleasant afternoon in HQ, the Power Ponies are enjoying themselves to kill time. "Awfully quiet, too quiet." Zapp said feeling uneasy. "I suppose it is but it gives me plenty of time for more magazine shoots and personal beauty management." Radiance said in her usual tone. "By the way, where is our fearless leader?" she asked. "I believe she left to the city library." Zapp answered. "Maybe she'll bump into a nice stallion and fall in love, the egghead could use some love in her life." Radiance said. Meanwhile in the city, the Masked Matter-horn was walking down the street in her civilian identity Trot Summers. "I swear if a villain suddenly attacks after all of the quiet, ill be completely powerless since I left my costume at HQ." she thought. She continues walking until she notices a café close by. "I'll get some iced tea before I head to the library." she thought. She approaches the entrance and at the same time a white coated stallion approaches as well and they nearly bump into each other. "Oh! Sorry, you first." she said. "No it was my bad, you first." he said. "No its ok, you first." she said. "I insist, mares first." he said calmly. She blushes a little and goes in first, she sees its packed and there's only one table left. "Oh dang it! Only one table." she said feeling frustrated. "I can share, I know we don't know each other but I don't mind." he said to her. "Well... I... I guess we can do that." she said sounding shy. She looks at the menu and the price of the drink she wants. "Let's see." she mumbled as she checks her balance. "Ok I have enough." she mumbled. "She's cuter in person." he thought to himself. They both reach the counter and made their purchases and sat together. "If my friends saw me here they'd think I was on a date." he said as he drank his water. She blushes and hides her face with her book, suddenly they hear the news on a TV. "This just in, the super villain High Heel has broken into a nearby store and stolen several pounds of money and footwear." the reporter said. "Oh no, i was afraid of this." she thought. "That's nearby." he said as he stared at the screen. She looks at him. "What's on his mind?" she wondered. "I uh got to go, it was nice meeting you, um." he said as he stood up from the table. "Trot, Trot Summers." she introduced herself. "Muyo, bye." he said as he leaves. She raised an eyebrow and found his behavior suspicious. "I wonder what got into him?" she wondered. "I should follow him to make sure he doesn't get hurt." she thought. She stood up and started to walkout of the café, she runs to where High Heel was last seen, she hurried and ran as fast as she could, when she finally reached the area she found a big surprise. "What the?" she reacted. She saw that High Heel was defeated and her teammates weren't being interviewed by the reporters, Fili-Second sees her and quickly dresses her up in her costume to avoid suspicion. "What's going on? Did you stop High Heel?" she asked. "Nope, not us." Fili-Second answered her. "Looks like there is a new guy in town." Mistress Mare-velous said. Masked Matter-horn approaches the group of reporters and sees somepony wearing a black and gold suit and a mask. "Tells us your name!" a reporter said to him. "My name is Willpower, Maretropolis's newest superhero." he introduced himself humbly. Masked Matter-horn quickly recognized his voice. "He's the stallion from earlier!" she thought. Zapp nudges her. "You ok Matter-horn?" Zapp asked her. "Is our leader infatuated? He is rather handsome in that outfit." Radiance said. Masked Matter-horn approached him. "Um, hello there Willpower, i am Masked Matter-horn, leader of the Power Ponies, we welcome you to our city." she said. "It's a pleasure to meet you." he said. "For the second time." he mumbled. The reporters start asking questions. "Are you going to team up?" one asked. "Are you going to join their team?" another asked. "Do you have the hots for any of them?" yet another asked. The six heroines blushed at that last one. "Now now let's not make any assumptions, I've only just met them." he said to them. "I ship him with Masked Matter-horn!" a colt said out loud. Masked Matter-horn felt more embarrassed than she has ever felt. "I can see that happening." Radiance whispered to her teasing. Masked Matter-horn tries to keep her composure. "Willpower, if you could please come to our HQ, as fellow heroes we should be better acquainted." she said. "And to get away from anymore embarrassing questions." she whispered. He nods and goes with them to their HQ, once there, Willpower looked around. "Could you leave us alone for a minute?" she asked her teammates. They nod and leave them be, after which she stood in front of him. "Ok Willpower, who are you?" she asked. "You sure i can reveal my identity?" he asked. "I know its you, Muyo." she said bluntly. He dematerializes his mask. "Perceptive, how did you figure it out?" he asked. "Well for one you left after seeing High Heel's crime being in-progress, something i would've done if i had brought my costume, second i recognized your voice." she explained. He grins. "My voice huh? Oddly specific." he said. "We just met, but that's besides the point, if you're a hero like us, how come you didn't appear till now?" she asked. "I moved in this city last night." he explained. "That's it?" she asked. "Yep, as for my powers, i used to work at an energy research lab till they picked me to test out a new type of energy, after the test i didn't show any change so they laid me off and as i searched for a new job i developed the ability to fly, increased strength, durability, and energy blasts." he explained. "I see." she responded. "I'm still fertile so i can still make babies." he said. "That was rather random." she said. "Sorry, i want to be a dad some day but no mare has wanted to even give me a chance, that's kind of why i moved, that and a new job i got." he explained. She looks at him and notices he's tearing a little. "Anyway, I'm not gonna bore you with my sob stories." he said. "It's ok, we're all fellow heroes here, you can share as much as you need too." she said. He smiled. "Let's go talk to the others, we've been keeping them waiting long enough." she said. They approach the others. "Willpower these are Mistress Mare-velous, Zapp real name Aurora, Fili-Second real name Marey Allen, Saddle Rager real name Spruce Spanner, Radiance real name Green Gardener, and our sidekick Hum Drum." she introduced. "And i am Masked Matter-horn, real name Trot Summers." she introduced herself. "Also known as the pretty one of the group." he said. She blushes but Radiance isn't amused. "I am the pretty one fyi." Radiance said. "I think he's into Trot." Saddle Rager whispered to her. "I can tell, miss obvious." Radiance whispered back sounding irritated. "Anyway let's show him around HQ." Masked Matter-horn said. They show him around the HQ, every room and so on, as he was shown around he couldn't help but feel nostalgic. "This reminds me of them, if only a bit much." he thought. At the end of the day they all gather at the living room. "I got to say you have a great HQ." he said to them. "Does this mean that you'll be part of the team?" Hum Drum asked. "Not yet, he has to earn it, Muyo we want you to work with us, if you prove yourself by the end of the month then you're in." Masked Matter-horn explained. "Of course, i understand." he said. "I guess ill head home then." he said. "You could stay here, makes it easier to call for you." Masked Matter-horn said. "I won't be a burden." he said. "I doubt you will be." she said. "Well i think its time we all hit the hay, good night team." she said as she heads to her room. They all say good night to each other and head to their rooms, Muyo looks out the window. "They remind me of them, i wonder how they are doing?" he wonders. He lays on the couch and drifts into sleep.
Chapter 2: Willpower vs High Heel Part 1View OnlinePower Ponies and WillpowerChapter 2: Willpower vs High Heel Part 1At Maretropolis' Balkham Asylum, the villainess High Heel is watching the news regarding the new hero Willpower, she felt angry at him for stopping her and frustration at the fact that there's yet another superhero in the city. "As if the Power Ponies weren't bad enough on their own, now they have another member, fantastic." she said. "I am getting my revenge as soon as I get out." she said as she shook her hoof. An inmate suddenly speaks to her, High Heel turns around and faces the cream coated, black and orange maned mare. "I don't think you'll beat him." she said. High Heel glared at her. "Oh? What makes you think I can't?" High Heel asked her. "Well for one you have no powers, two he does and three you don't know his weaknesses." she explained. "And you do?" High Heel asked. "Certainly, for example, he is easy to seduce, he can't say no to a pretty face." she answered. "He happens to have a feelings for Masked Matter-horn as well." she explained. "And promising to have kids with him will always work." she added. High Heel thinks for a moment. "I see, well I do have charm." High Heel said feeling good about her looks. "Who are you anyway?" she asked her. "I am Anastasia, or Ana for short." she introduced herself. "How soon do you want to enact her revenge?" she asked. "For now I want to bide my time and plan this out." High Heel answered. "I want to wait until he and Masked Matter-horn get closer and closer, that way when I drive them apart, it'll be more effective." High Heel explained. "Just don't go falling for him, don't want to ruin the plan with a sudden crush." Anastasia said to her. "I won't, no matter how handsome he might be or how sweet." High Heel said. Anastasia gets close and whispers in her ear. "That's a lie, your heart tells a different story." she whispered. High Heel glares. "I'm not lying, I know what I want, you don't know me." High Heel said. Anastasia grins. "I think I do." she said mentally. "Tell me, how was your first fight against him?" she asked. "Well it started when I robed that shoe store, I was hoping the quiet would slow down the Power Ponies so I acted fast, but then he came." High Heel explained. Flashback to yesterday when Willpower first appeared, she was robbing the store and made her exit until Willpower appeared. "Halt villain." he commanded. High Heel looked at him. "Another superhero?! Can I ever catch a break?!" she asked frustratingly. She tries to make a break for it after throwing her high heels at him, he deflects them and goes after her, she tries to outrun him but she's easily captured, she struggles to get free. "Let me go!" she shouted. He ties her up and holds her. "Let's wait for the cops." he said. "Damn it!" she shouted. "You know you have a pretty face, why do you bother with crime?" he asked. "Don't patronize me! You don't know where I've been!" she shouted. "Want to talk about it?" he asked. She rolls her eyes. "You superheroes are all the same, what makes you think you can help me?" she asked. "Would you give me a chance?" he asked. In the present. "That's when the cops arrived." High Heel explained. Anastasia gave a smug grin. "What's with that smug look?" High Heel asked. "Oh nothing, so you see what I mean? He's a sucker for a pretty face and he probably is wondering about your past, I bet he's thinking about reforming you right now." Ana said. "Probably thinks you are a lonely lady who just wants somepony to love her so she takes it out on the world by doing crime." Ana said. She notices High Heel is quiet. "High Heel?" she calls her. High Heel is staring at nothing and is lost in her thoughts. "High Heel, yoo-hoo." she called again. High Heel snaps out of it. "Huh? What?" she asked as she comes too. Anastasia grins. "I knew it, what I saw in her heart is true." she thought to herself. "Sorry I got lost in my thoughts." High Heel said. "What were you talking about? Oh right his weakness." she asked. "I... Need to lie down." she said as she sits. Meanwhile in the city, Willpower and Zapp are patrolling the city, she notices he's distracted and tries to make him focus by blasting him with a lightning bolt but he dodges. "What was that for?" he asked. "You were distracted, we're on patrol and must remain focused and vigilant." she explained. "I was just thinking about somepony." he said. "Who Matter-horn?" she asked grinning. "I think about her all the time." he answered. "Ah so you have a crush then?" she asked teasing him. He blushed. "I didn't say that, though I wasn't kidding when I said she was cute and has a nice butt too." he said. "You've been hitting on her?" she asked again teasing. "No! I'm just very observant." he answered hiding his embarrassment. Zapp chuckles while he looks the other way, they are contacted by Masked Matter-horn to return to HQ after they finish their patrols. "All clear, let's head back." he said. They fly back to HQ. "I'm serious when I say that you and her would look cute together, if you develop feelings know that I got your back." Zapp said to him. "Thanks, I appreciate it." he said. They return to HQ and report to Masked Matter-horn, afterward Willpower decides to ask her something. "Hey Matter-horn, do you have any info on High Heel?" he asked. "Well yeah but it's not complete, there's a lot that's missing, why?" she answered. "Just curious, curious at why they commit crimes." he answered. "I see, well you can check our library if you want, I'm going there myself." she said. "Let's go." he said. She smiles and walks to the library with him, once there he uses the computer to look up info on High Heel while Masked Matter-horn checked an unknown book, after doing a bit of digging he finds something of interest. "Hey Matter-horn have you seen this?" he asked her as he turns his gaze towards her. "Matter!" he called her. She still doesn't respond, he looks at her butt then grins. "Those tights really compliment your plump butt." he said out loud. She snaps out of it. "What?" she asked. "Did you say something?" she asked. "I wanted to show you something interesting about High Heel." he said. "Sorry I didn't hear you, I tend to block out everything when I get focused." she said. "You were still like a statue." he said. She feels embarrassed. "So what did you find?" she asked. She approached him and looked at the screen. "Huh, I don't recall ever seeing this info on High Heel." she said. "Seems she's deliberately tried to erase certain things from her past, I wonder why?" he asked. "Hmm, perhaps she's hiding past crimes." she wondered. "Maybe." he mumbles. "Anyway that's all I got, I don't have anything better to do so, want to hang out?" he asked her. She blushes slightly. "I suppose we can hang out, your new so I suppose some team bonding is a good idea." she answered. "It's a date." he said smiling. She blushes more. "N-No its just team bonding, lets uh... Um." she said. "Anything you'd like to do?" he asked. "Well *sees the time* oh my favorite show is almost on, want to come?" she asked. He nods and goes with her to the tv room. "You reminded me of someone when you were reading." he said. "Really? Who? A friend?" she asked. "Yeah." he answered. "Former friend." he mumbled.
Chapter 3: Willpower vs High Heel Part 2View OnlinePower Ponies and WillpowerChapter 3: Willpower vs High Heel Part 2A week later, High Heel is bailed out of prison thanks to Anastasia's connections, she's invited to a fancy shoe auction in a high society event which she intends to rob blind, hearing about this, the Power Ponies come up with a plan. "Ok so we have to go undercover and stop High Heel from stealing from the rich in this auction." Masked Matter-horn briefed. "We should pick two of us to attend it, so who's going?" she asked. The others give an uncertain look on their faces, except Willpower. "I'll go, I'm good at undercover missions." he said. "It's not my thing." Mistress Mare-velous said. Zapp, Saddle Rager and Fili-Second nodded in agreement. "Normally I would but for strategic purposes, our leader should go with Willpower." Radiance said. They all look at her. "What?" she asked. "Well if you're not going then I guess it's up to me and him." Masked Matter-horn said. Radiance smiles wide and goes over to her. "Great! With that let's go shopping for a dress." Radiance said to her. Masked Matter-horn blushed. "D-Dress?!" she asked surprised. "It's undercover remember? Come on let's go!" she said as she grabbed Masked Matter-horn and left. The others looked on and chuckled. "She really ships them huh?" Hum Drum asked. "Ship?" Willpower asked. "Are you saying that Radiance is trying to get us together?" he asked. "Pretty much, do you like her?" Filli-Second asked. He blushes. "Well... Yeah, I do like her, I'm hoping to ask her out someday." he said. "Think she feels the same way?" he asked. "Oh she does but she'll never openly admit it." Mistress Mare-velous answered. "Really? You're not pulling my leg are you?" he asked. "None whatsoever, I know because I read her diary." Filli-Second revealed. "You did?" he asked looking surprised. "Super speed makes it easy to get away with things like that, I told everyone including Radiance." she answered. "It was unnecessary on her part but we're happy to know that she has feelings for someone." Zapp said. Willpower is tempted to ask a certain question but resists. "What's the matter? Have something in mind?" she asked him. "I was going to ask something but maybe I shouldn't." he said. "Tell us, we're a team and friends, you can speak your mind." Zapp said to him. "Do you think Masked Matter-horn... Would want kids?" he asked reluctantly. "Someone is getting ahead of himself, I love it!" Filli-Second said giggling. "That's for you and her to discuss when you get there." Mistress Mare-velous said sternly. "Right, right." he said nodding slightly. "You know you could knock all six of us up if you really want too." Filli-Second said flirting. Zapp, Mistress and Saddle Rager blush. "D-Don't give him ideas like that!" Zapp said looking embarrassed. "W-We couldn't do that to our leader." Mistress Mare-velous said looking embarrassed as well. "He only likes her that way, we're just friends to him." Saddle Rager said. Filli-Second rolls her eyes. "You are no fun." she said. "I'll only do it if they want too and Trot gives the go ahead, which is unlikely." Willpower said. Filli-Second gets close. "Uh-huh." she said. "I feel like deep down you do want to make an army of super powered foals with us, all six of us." she whispered. "One day you will, and we'll like it." she whispered further. Willpower felt nervous as deep down, he did, but he had to resist, he couldn't let the orange and pink lights emerge. Meanwhile in the city mall, Radiance and Masked Matter-horn were shopping in their civilian identities: Green Gardener and Trot Summers. "Let's see, what would look good on you?" Green asked herself. "This isn't a date Green." Trot said looking annoyed. "It may as well be, I know this isn't for a date but after that you could wear it for a date with Muyo." Green answered. Trot blushes. "D-Date?" she asked. "Why would we go out? It's not like he likes me that way." she asked. Green Gardener sighed. "You are so oblivious, anyway let's try these." she said as she pulled Trot to the dressing rooms. Once inside Green had her try several dresses, as they do, Trot starts thinking about Muyo. "Green... Do you think he likes me?" she asked. Green gave an eager expression as she turned to her. "Of course, did you think I haven't noticed?" she answered. "Noticed?" Trot asked. "The way you look at him, the way you lighten up when he's around, sharing interests, it's obvious to me that you like him." Green answered. Trot blushed. "He's just approachable that's all." Trot said with a shy expression. "His kind earthly eyes, his soft white coat, his pleasant smile." Green quoted. Trot looked at her suspiciously, Green gave her a confused look. "What?" she asked. "Nothing... So which dress?" Trot asked. Green takes a look. "I say we should get Muyo's opinion, oh wait he's back at home, drat." Green said. "Well I think it looks perfect." Green said. "Yeah it does match me I guess, we'll get this one." Trot said. They pay for it and return to HQ, then later that day. "Oh you two look like the perfect couple, it makes me envious." Radiance said. "It makes you forget this is for undercover reasons." Zapp said smiling. "If you're done let's begin the mission, I'll drive." Trot said. "Actually I'm driving, we've got to play the part, plus it's polite." Muyo said. "Fine." Trot replied. They head out to begin their mission, on their way. "You know you really do look pretty in that dress." Muyo said. Trot blushes. "Thanks." she said. "Hey I've been meaning to ask, do you have sympathy for High Heel? I've seen you look up info of her." she asked. "I have, I'm not in love or anything, I just want to know if there's any goodness in her." he explained. "I'm sorry to disappoint you but there's no helping them, they'll commit crime until they are physically unable too." she explained. "Have you tried?" he asked. "When we first started our superhero careers yeah, we tried and tried but our naïveté ran out and we concluded that they'll never change, I know you have a heart so I'll let you try, just don't feel too bad when she doesn't change." she said. They approach the auction house. "We're here." she said. They park and head inside, once inside they look for any sign of High Heel, Muyo spots her. "There she is." he said looking at her. "Wow, she could not be more obvious." she said rolling her eyes. "Let's chat with her, act natural." she said. They both approach her, High Heel turns to both and looks at Muyo. "Hello there, you must be Muyo, pleasure to meet you." High Heel greeted. "How does she know your name?" she whispered to him. Muyo shrugs. "Oh I just heard it from the grape vine, say may I speak with you in private?" High Heels asked. "No." Trot responded defensively. "Now now, I'm not stealing your boyfriend or anything, just something more business oriented." she said to her. "It's ok, I'll handle this, follow discreetly." he whispered. "Ok, lead the way." he said. High Heel leads him to a private room, Trot follows and listens in once they enter, until suddenly somepony knocks her out. "So what's the deal?" he asked. "I know you're the power pony Willpower, a little friend told me in jail." she answered. "Now you've fallen for my trap." she added. Muyo prepares himself for an ambush but nothing happens. "I said trap!" she repeated. She looks around. "What in the hay? Anastasia! Spring the trap!" she shouts. No answer. "Oh for." she says. She looks for her equipment but finds everything missing, she panics and looks everywhere. "What is the meaning of this?!" she shouted. She finds a note from Anastasia, after reading it she has a fit and starts trashing the room, Muyo tries to calm her down but she is too angry to talk down so he grabs her and holds her. "Stop, stop! Calm down." he said. "No! Let me go! Let me go!" she shouted. "Fiona Flip-flops stop!" Muyo said raising his voice. She looked at him with shock. "H-How do you know my name?" she asked. "I looked you up, I know your past, born to rich parents, lost them to competitors, lost your fortune and suitors, you tried to find purpose so you chose revenge. I can help you, if you'd just let me." he explained. She started to tear up and looked him in the eyes. "I can help you." he repeats. "You can help me by being my husband but I can already see that you love her and not me." she said. "Forget the stupid cash and shoes... I'm not feeling like being a villain tonight." she said sounding defeated. Muyo lifts her chin up. "I can still give you love and affection, I have my heart set on Masked Matter-horn but if you stop committing crimes I'll give you a new life, a new home and the affection you want." he said. "I don't care if I'm a hero and you're a villain, if you don't want to be either then that's fine." he said. She smiles. "You'll do all that for me?" she asked. Muyo kisses her lips. "Yes." he answered. "You're a beautiful mare." he added. She smiles and kisses him, they begin to make out until they lay on the floor and start making love, a pink aura started faintly emanating from his body, Fiona feels a certain something poke her. "Oh my, am I exciting you?" she asked. "Why don't you go in? I'm still a virgin." she asked seductively. "Well, if you let me knock you up." he said seductively as the pink energy starts to affect him. "I suppose a foal would be the ultimate excuse to retire." she said smiling. "Go ahead, make my night." she said. Muyo smiles and has his way with her. Later, Trot regains consciousness after being knocked out. "Huh? What? What happened?" she asked as she woke up. She gasps. "High Heel!! Muyo what happened?" she asked. She looks at Muyo and notices he's messy. "What happened? Did you apprehend High Heel?" she asked. Muyo didn't even look at her, she felt worried. "Muyo? What's wrong?" she asked. "High Heel gave up on the plan, seems her associate bailed on her so she dropped it and went home." he explained. "And my powers... I'll need a few days off to train again." he added. "Your powers? Did something happen?" she asked. "Let's just say that green isn't my only color, there are things I haven't mentioned about my powers, mostly because I don't fully understand them." he answered. "Anything I can do to help? If you want to research your powers to see what else you can do just say the word." she said to him. She puts her hoof on his shoulder. "I'm here for you." she said. "I know... Thanks." he said. They drive back to HQ, meanwhile in his old residence, High Heel a.k.a Fiona Flip-Flops enters his home after Muyo gave her the keys to the place. "Hm, it's quite nice like he said." she said to herself. She lays on the couch and relaxes. "I can get used to this." she thought.
Chapter 4: The Power WithinView OnlinePower Ponies and WillpowerChapter 4: The Power WithinMuyo hasn't been the same since that night, he learned that there is more to his powers than he knew, now he's focused on testing his powers to figure out the mysteries of it. "Ok, I'm usually green, my energy is that color, but last night my color changed to indigo then pink, why?" he thought to himself. "Was it a reaction of some kind? Chemical? Hormonal? Emotional?" he continued to think. Masked Matter-horn entered. "Hey Willpower." she greeted as she approached. "You're not in costume?" she asked. "Oh I was just about too." he answered. He focuses his energy to materialize his costume. "That is useful." she said. "I think there's more to my powers then I thought, when I was with High Heel my energy changed to indigo for a moment then dissipated." he said. "I've been meaning to ask about that, what did you do exactly?" she asked. "She was going to spring a trap but her ally was a no show so she had a fit out of frustration, I calmed her down and we had a talk, after that she gave up on crime and left." he explained. "No romantic kiss?" she joked. "Nah." he said rolling his eyes. "I have my heart set on somepony else, and she's not a villain, you could say she's got cute eyewear." he said. Masked Matter-horn froze in place. "Eyewear?! Is it me? It's got to be me! W-Who else has cute eyewear in this team? Not cute though, functional, unless he thinks it's cute! Does he think I'm cute?! Oh my gosh!" she thought to herself. Muyo stares. "Masked? Masked!" he called. "Matter-horn!!" he shouted. Masked Matter-horn snaps out of it. "Huh? What?" she asked as she woke up from her daydream. "Sorry about that." she said. "Why did?-" he asked. "Nothing." she interrupted. "So when did the energy change color?" she asked. "Well I gave her a hug as she cried on my shoulder and that's when it changed." he explained. "Hmm, I wonder if it's because of an emotion you were feeling at the time." she wondered. "But what emotion could indigo represent?" she wondered again. "Compassion? That's what I felt at the time." he asked. "She turned to crime after she lost her parents, her fortune and suitors, she was lashing out to fill the void, hopefully I helped her enough." he said. Masked stared as she saw him glow indigo then blue, he looks at her. "What?" he asked. "You glowed indigo and then blue when you said hope." she said. "Quick think about compassion." she said. He does so by thinking about the compassion in his heart, his suit changes color to indigo. "Whoa." he responded. "Think about hope." she said. He nods and does so and again he changes color to blue. "That's it, emotions, your colors change based on emotion." she concluded. "But what would green be?" she asked. "Willpower." he said. He changes color to green upon saying that. "How do you know?" she asked. "Remember what I told you about how I got my powers? The type of energy they were researching was based on emotion, green was willpower according to them but that's all I remember." he explained. "Indigo is compassion and blue is hope, that we now know." he added. "I wonder what the other colors are." she wondered. "I'm hoping for white or black." he said. "What emotion could those possibly represent?" she asked. "Life and death?" he asked. "Those aren't emotions." she said. "Fair enough." he said. "I don't think my powers are any different whether I'm blue or green." he said. "You should try it." she said. Willpower tries all of his known powers while blue and indigo, flight, energy blasts, barriers, no difference. "Nothing different, although I sense something." he said. "Sense?" she asked. Meanwhile in another part of the base, Mistress is trying to fix a chair. "Come on, come on you blasted thing." Mistress Mare-velous mumbled. She fails and starts feeling rage. Willpower's body changes color to red. "I sense rage from mistress." he said. "Red." Masked said. Meanwhile Filli-Second is raiding the fridge, his body changes to orange upon sensing it. "Orange?" she asked. "Greed, avarice." he said. He starts to feel tired. "I'm feeling drained." he said. "Ok let's stop, it seems you can sense emotions which brings out the other colored energies, why don't we go to the living room so you can relax?" she said to him. He nods and walks with her to the living room, once there he sits down. "Where were you two?" Zapp asked them. "Testing my powers, I'm drained." he answered. "I always thought the only time I'd be drained is after marriage." he added. "So what did you find?" Zapp asked. "My colors change based on emotion." he answered. "That's all?" she asked. "That and he can sense emotions, though he can turn it on and off." Masked explained. "It drains me when used too much but I doubt I'll use it often." he added. "There's one emotion I'm wondering if it has a color or not, but I have no idea how to test it." he said. "What is it?" Masked asked. Willpower has a reluctant expression. "I rather test it out myself, in private." he said. They look at each other then him. "You can tell us, we're a team." Masked Matter-horn said to him. He stays quiet. "Let us help you." she added. He sighs. "Fine, but I won't tell you the emotion until the color changes." he said. Masked nods as agreement. "You asked for it." he said in his mind. "I'll read your emotions, in this case the emotion I have in mind, let me know when I change color." he said to her. "I'm ready." she said. Willpower focuses his energy and tries to sense a specific emotion, after a few seconds he finds the emotion he's looking for, he focuses on it and finds Masked Matter-horn's true feelings, as this happens his body changes color to pink. "Pink? What emotion could that be?" she asked. After a few seconds she realizes what pink could represent and blushes, Zapp grins. "Willpower what was the emotion you wanted to see if it had a color?" she asked. She sees that he's blushing and smiling but avoiding eye contact. "It was love wasn't it?" Zapp asked. Willpower nods lightly. "I didn't want to say what it was because I didn't want to invade your thoughts." he explained. Masked gives him a half smile. "So... You know how I feel?" she asked. "Yeah... I guess we both feel that way about each other." he said. "Then I guess it's appropriate if I do this?" she asked as she got closer. "Do what?" he asked. Masked Matter-horn kisses him in the lips, his aura glows brighter. "Whoa." he responded. "So... now that we know each other's feelings, want to go out on a date?" he asked. "Absolutely." she answered. She looks to her left and sees the rest of the team staring and smiling. "We have our first superhero couple guys." Radiance said smiling. "When's your first date?" she asked. "Tomorrow night, restaurant and fair?" he asked. "Sounds like a good start." she answered. "I'll be in the library." she says. She kisses his cheek then goes. "Yes!" he shouted. He flies around happily. "I finally have a date with the mare of my dreams!" he said in his mind. "Now if only we could find dates." Saddle Rager said. "Nah, we have Willpower, he can bang us with our leader's permission." Filli-Second said. "You still think that?" Mistress Mare-velous asked. "A mare can have her fantasies." she replied. They roll their eyes. Meanwhile on the other side, unicorn pony knocks on somepony's door. "Hey Muyo, how is the writing going?" the pony asked. No answer. "He's starting to worry me, at least the comics are going well, strange how Willpower looks eerily similar to him." he said. Inside the room, there's a comic that continues endlessly.
