Floating in darkness...
"What the...?" a voice said.
"Why the heck is there a... pony in my pool?" the voice said again.
The voice came from a person, who ran to the pool and took it out. They set the silver, cartoon pony on the concrete. Setting their ear on the pony, they heard a heart beat and steady breathing.
"Thank god you're alive... Come on! Wake up!" the voice said.
The pony started coughing a bit, and its eyes slowly and steadily opened.
----My POV----
I started coughing because I had gotten a little bit of water in my throat.
Wait, what? Water?
I slowly opened my eyes, and I saw a half-terrified and half-relieved person looking over me.
"Great, you woke up." said a familiar voice.
"Brett? Is that you..?" I said, still coughing a bit.
"AHH god! HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?" Brett screamed, terrified.
"Dude Brett it's me!"
He rolled his eyes. "Me doesn't help you know! I still don't know why you know my name!" he said still frightened and yelling.
"Brett it's Jack! Stop your hollering and I have no idea why you're so terrified." I was still recovering.
"J- Jack? What happened?"
"What do you mean? I'm perfectly fine except for the fact that I'm soaking wet and in your backyard."
"No no no... You... Uh.." he said nervously, trying to come up with a way to say something to me.
"I'm what? If you're trying to screw with me please stop."
"Jack... You're a pony."
"Sure. And you're an astronaut."
"No... uh... really. You may want to... look in the water."
I went to get up, and fell over immediately.
"The heck?"
I kept trying to walk, but kept felling over.
"Why can't I walk?" I said frustrated.
"Because you're a pony."
"Shut up."
I made it to the water, and looked back at Brett.
"I'M NOT A PONY! SEE?"
Then I looked into the water. A cartoon-looking silver pegasus with black and gray hair looked at me in the reflection.
"Oh. I'm..."
"A pony."
"B- But how?"
"I don't know. What I also don't know is how you're supposed to go to school."
"Oh crap. That would be awkward. I would attract so much attention."
"Too much attention. Anyway, lets get inside and dry you off. How are you supposed to deal with your... parents?"
"I.. I don't know. They are on vacation right now, and will be back in 4 weeks."
"Well that's good." he said, opening the door to his warm house. On the "Journey" to his door, I managed to slightly get the hang of walking, tripping every so often. Before I stepped in I shook off most of the water.
We walked inside, and he grabbed a towel and sat down. I was dried off, then we sat there at the couch.
"So... this whole pony thing. What's it like?"
"What's it like?"
"Being a pony."
"I dunno. Everything is a lot bigger, and I have an extra feeling on my back. Probably these." I said extending my wings then pulling them back in. He stared at me in awe.
"What?"
"Uh, nothing. Except for the fact that you're a silver pony with wings, standing in my house!"
"Oh. Right."
"Am I dreaming?" Brett said, pinching himself.
"Am I dreaming?" I asked him.
"I don't think so, because I wouldn't be able to do this," he said, then he reached over and slapped me in my face.
"Hey!" I shot up and was flying in the air in front of him. I reached my arm out in front of his face, and slapped him right
back.
"Hey! That hurts more because you have a hoof! No fair!"
I fell down to the ground, laughing on my back. I got up still laughing, and flapped my wings and started floating in the air
in front of him again. I then started to circle him, testing out my new wings.
"What are you doing?" he asked, a little confused.
"I dunno, i'm just testing out my new wings. They are really fun. I'm never gonna get tired of this!" I said soaring around his room.
"Watch out or you'll hit something" he said a bit nervous about what was in his room.
"No worries man! I got this all under contro-"
SMACK
I hit the wall and fell onto the floor, my eyes rolling.
"That was ironic." Brett said laughing.
"Not funny!"
"To me it was. Anyway, you wanna play some xbox or something while your here?"
"I guess." I said.
He started up his xbox, still not taking his eyes off of me.
He handed me a controller, and sat down. I put my "hands" on the controller and smashed the buttons and sticks around.
"Crap. This sucks..." I said, saddened.
"What happened?"
"I don't have hands! How am I supposed to hold or use the controller?" I said, shaking my hooves in the air.
"How are you doing that?" said Brett confused.
"Doing what?
"That." he said, pointing to the controller in front of me.
"What the?" I looked at the controller, and it was floating right there in front of me in a silver aura. I tried moving it, and to my surprise it moved where I wanted it to.
"The heck? I shouldn't be able to do this." I said confused.
"Yeah.. At least you can play now." said Brett.
"Hmm. I guess so."
"Wait- When do your parents get home?"
"A few hours, why?"
I gave him this look that said "seriously" on my face.
"Oh. Duh."
"Yeah, I think I may need to head home soon, otherwise they may... find me."
He looked up and down at me then nodded in agreement.
"We need to make sure to keep track of time."
We started to play, and then we heard the sound of a car. His parents were home.
I looked at him with a nervous and scared face with my ears down, and I dropped the controller out of my magical grip. He opened the door for me (i'm not tall enough) and I flew out.
"Seeya. Thanks for helping me."
"I guess so... seeya..."
I flew onto his roof, and waited until his parents were inside.
That was close.
Rewrote this chapter slightly, will be fixing it up better later on.
Please look at the next few chapters! I promise they are better.

Once they were inside, I opened up my wings and lifted myself into the sky. I flew up high so nobody would be able to see me from the ground. I looked around at my surroundings, and quickly figured out my location. Brett's place was somewhere I went often, so when I was in the air I could easily find my way home.
It felt great to have the wind on my face, and I was easily managing to find my way around. I decided to be a bit daring, and swooped down a bit low to the ground, soaring right past a person. I quickly went up in the air as high as I could, and I looked down at them. They were looking frantically around themselves, trying to find what just went by them. They finally gave up and shook their heads, most likely dismissing it as a hallucination or an illusion. I laughed at this, and waited a bit until they crossed the street. When they reached the other side, and dove down even faster and swooped by them again. It was really fun, I can't lie about that. They freaked out again, and started walking faster. Really fast. I had the urge to do it again.
'It won't hurt to do it just one more time...' I thought.
I got ready to dive-bomb towards them, until they turned around and spotted me. There I was floating there in the sky what was once behind them, staring at him with a frightened look on my face. The teenager stood there with a look of surprise on his face. We stared into each others eyes for what seemed like hours. I was scared stiff.
'I new this was a big mistake.' I thought to myself.
He dropped his bag of groceries, and said in confusion:
"A-Am I seeing ponies?"
I still floated there, now in front of him and finally said:
"Uh... Yeah?"
Then I turned the other direction and flew as hard and as fast as I could away from him.
''Stupid, stupid, stupid idea!'' I thought out loud in anger.
"Wait... What the heck? Uh... Hey! Come back!" The teenager yelled.
"I won't tell anyone! Promise!" he screamed at me.
"I sure hope I'm not seeing things. Then I'd look like a lunatic." he said to himself.
Hey. Maybe he can help me.
I turned around and looked at him nervously, and he motioned his arm to come. I made my decision, and slowly flew over to him.
I landed on the ground in front of him, and looked up. Normally this guy would be a few feet taller than me, but now he was way more than a few feet. I stepped back a little bit, and tried to make myself as small as possible.
"Are you real..? You're not like some weird part of my mind, just here to drive me insane and make me look stupid?"
he said, picking me up to confirm whether I was real or not.
Unlike most ponies, or any other animals, I was really light. One, I was a pegasus. I was light enough to walk on clouds! That's still on my to-do list. On the show they always say how soft clouds are. I really need to feel it for myself! Two, I was already underweight and below height average as a human. Everybody made fun of me, saying I was weak, short and skinny. I was short and skinny, but definitely not weak. If I had ever gotten angry enough, I could've killed somebody. That's just wrong though. I would never kill or hurt anyone. I'm not that... type of person. Anyway, back to what's happening now.
It felt odd, being picked up by someone. I was really small compared to the teenager. He was still unaware of the fact that I wasn't actually a pony. Well, I am a pony, but I didn't used to be.
He put me down, and picked up his fallen back of groceries on the ground. He grumbled a bit.
"Follow me, I want to ask you a few things."
After a short walk of about 5 minutes, we arrived at his house.
He walked inside and nobody was home. I hopped on his bed, and grabbed a chair for himself. He sat there looking at me. He didn't talk for little while, and I decided to sleep on his bed in the meantime. I started to fall asleep, the he quickly woke me up and asked a question.
"Hey, uh, pony. What's your name?" he asked me.
"Mine's Richard, but you can call me Rick" he said.
"My name's Jack. Jack Sovner. Nice to meet you Rick." I said a bit tired, yawning, and reaching my right foreleg out to shake hands. I had a sudden realization of what I was doing, then took my hoof back and looked at it sighing.
"No point in shaking hands if I don't have hands. That's a shame..."
"That's an odd name for a... pony, much less a hallucination." he said, looking me up and down again.
"Because I'm not a pony. Nor a hallucination! That's the problem!" I said sighing, laying flat out on his covers.
"What do you mean not a pony? As in human? You must be crazy little dude."
I looked at him with a sad look on my face, attempting to make him believe me more.
"I'm not a pony, nor was I ever. I went to bed last night after watching a movie, then woke up this morning in my friend's pool drowning." I said to him.
He thought about it, then his face turned to a one of question.
"I have to go now. I have to say hidden, and it was bad enough that you found me. I don't know how or why this happened, and I want to stay away from everybody, especially media. I don't want to attract creepy people either." I said.
"...maybe if you didn't try to scare me I wouldn't have seen you..." he mumbled.
'What?
"Nothing."
"Anyway, please don't tell anyone you saw a flying silver pony." I pleaded.
"Fine," he said. "I won't tell anybody about you, and you can go on living your life back in Equestria, okay?"
"Look, I'm going to go home, and figure out what to do with everything."
I opened up the window, and flew outside. I looked back at his house, and it was fairly small, probably a rental house.
It took me a while to figure out my location, but after going over a few stores and streets, I found my way home.
"I should probably sleep on a cloud. I can cross that off my to-do list." I said to myself, looking for a nice one near my home. I lowered myself onto a cloud, and as soon as my hooves touched the fluffy mass, I didn't fall through to my surprise. I laid down, and experienced the softest 'bed' ever.
"No wonder Rainbow Dash likes to sleep on these, they are SO soft." I yawned.
I slowly drifted off to sleep...
---Meanwhile at Rick's house---
"So glad I took those photos." he said to himself proudly. He had secretly taken a few pictures of the sleeping cartoon pegasus while he was on his bed.
"Don't worry, Jack, I'm not telling anyone. Physically..."
He typed out a detailed report and selected the photos and clicked upload.

I woke up, yawning.
'What time is it?'
I looked around, and it was evening, probably around 6-7:00.
'That's not too long,' I thought. 'Not much could have happened.'
I peeked over the side of my cloud (which was over my house by the way) and saw an uncountable number of cars parked all along the streets, in driveways, everywhere that someone could possibly fit. Some people even walked to whatever event was happening. Camera crews were set up as well, camera's pointing at my cloud. People had their cell phones and video camera's out to take photos.
"Dangit Rick, I KNEW I couldn't trust you." I said to myself in disgust and regret. Should've never gone with him.
I lowered my cloud a little bit, and stuck my head over the edge.
"There it is!"
"It's awake!"
"Turn on the cameras!"
SERIOUSLY? HOW was I going to get away from all of this. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid. I flopped back down on my cloud to try and fall asleep, but all the ruckus kept me awake.
This is bad. This is really bad. Even worse for the fact that I'm at my house. They probably figured it was just a random area though. If anyone did find out, then we would be bombarded with reporters all the time. Probably have to move houses, but even then media does find it's way to figure out your location. Reporters were standing outside my house, with the camera crew focused on them. One started talking, and I could hear her well enough because she was fairly loud.
"...Several reports of seeing this creature have been issued, but only one of them has been real so far. Here's the photo that an anonymous user took." Photo? Great. He just didn't tell somebody, but he TOOK A PHOTO ! He even gave it directly to the news crew. I could tell because they said "Anonymous User". I waited a little longer, and the reporters were just talking more and more about the situation. I could predict what was happening, because I've seen the news before. They were probably conversing with the anchorman about if the photo was actually real. It was real, and I was about to show them.
I 'wheeled' my cloud over to where it was closer to the news crew, and I was about to do something I would both regret and be thankful for. Talk to them.
The reporter was shocked to see the cloud slowly move over to them. They were actually scared of me. Haha, that's just silly. A little pony isn't going to hurt you. Unless you hurt him. Then he will set you on fire and spray you in lighter fluid. Hehehehe.
She started to talk a little bit faster and with a little nervousness.
"...A-as you can see, the cloud is slowly moving towards us. I can't expect what it will do, if it can talk our language, or it will *blahblahblah*..."
It's my time to strike. Not literally though.
I hopped of the cloud and landed right in front of the lady. She just stood there, mouth hanging open like she was trying to catch bugs in her mouth. Ew, that's just a nasty thought. I stared back at the lady, and she didn't say anything. I started to back up a little bit, and then everybody's cameras were flashing, cell-phones taking photos and videos, and everybody was pushing and shoving to get a better view. Some people were in some of the trees that leaned over the street.
'Why is everybody so desperate to see me?' I thought in desperate confusion.
'Oh wait, never mind. Duh.'
A fight broke out in the crowd, and I was starting to be circled. I closed my eyes, everybody was pushing and shoving around me, lights were flashing, everybody was yelling, shouting and talking. I started to shake, and I wished I was dead. This was the worst day of my life. The day I became everyone's center of attention. I didn't want anything but to be dead, and I wished it never happened. But then again I'm happy that it happened, but I wish THIS never happened. But it was going to eventually.
'Better to get it over with now.' I thought.
"ENOUGH! ALL OF YOU!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
Everybody fell silent, staring at me, eyes wide open. They all backed up slowly, not sure of what was going to happen. I didn't know what to do now either, so I did what anybody would do in peril.
Cry.
I cried like never before, hoping that I would be left alone. I would be left on this street to die a lonely death, as a pony. Not a human as originally planned, but a flying and magic-using pony. I cried as I thought about my family. I cried when I thought about my future. I would no longer go to college, and be successful. My whole life is ruined. I will be followed by social media forever, or turned into a lab-rat by scientists and doctors. I was just a normal, average kid, who had already been put through enough bullying, betrayal, stress, worry, and death.
"It's not over yet, Jack ." said a voice in my head.
"It's not over yet."
"There's a reason for things that happen in this universe, Jack Sovner, and this is one of them. " the voice said.
It was very calming, and heartwarming. It made me feel greater than before, feel happy, and no longer upset.
"You will make a great difference in this world, Jack. You have your whole life ahead of you to fulfill."
"It's not over yet..."
"It's not over."
I stopped crying at this, and lifted up my head. My eyes were bloodshot, my mouth shut, and tears streaming out of my eyes.
'It's not over yet.' I thought to myself.
All the reporters, camera crew, people gathered around, and children too, had a look of sadness on their faces. A look of regret.
'It's not over yet.'
I lifted up into the air, very slowly, and turned around away from them.
"Wait!" someone called out.
"What's your name?" they asked.
I turned around again, this time my eyes weren't bloodshot, my face wasn't red, my tears were gone, and I had a small smile on my face.
"My name..." I said looking at the crowd.
"Is Jack..."
"...Jack Sovner..." I said dramatically.
I spun around as fast as I could, doing a 180 and disappeared in a small flash of light.
'It's not over yet.'

"God, What happened?" I yawned, waking up again. I was in my bed, back in my room like nothing ever happened.
I got out of my bed and fell to the floor.
"Oof. Oh yeah." I chuckled to myself.
I got up off the floor and walked to my bathroom. I hovered in front of my mirror, and got a good look at myself. I had the same brown eyes as I did before I changed, and my hair was a mess. I looked to see if I somehow was a unicorn, but I was still just a pegasus. When I as at Brett's place, I could use magic even though I don't have a horn. Can I still do that now? Or was that a one-time kinda thing... I also managed to teleport when I had the urge to get away from everyone.
I went out of the bathroom in curiosity, and looked around for an object that I could possibly use for testing. I went downstairs, and after a minute, I decided to use my TV remote. I stared at the remote, and wanted it to move, but nothing happened. I focused and concentrated as hard as possible, but it didn't budge or anything. I finally sat down and imagined picking it up in my hands. To my surprise, it lifted. I imagined pressing the on button with my thumb, and the TV turned on.
'This is great!' I thought. Maybe it wasn't so bad after all.
I turned to see what was on the TV and I froze solid.
BREAKING NEWS: UNKNOWN ANIMAL FOUND
It was showing a video of me, caught on a cell phone camera of somebody from the large group of people. I was curled up in a small ball, my face hidden. I was shaking from stress, and you couldn't hear anything but yelling and talking. I was clutching my head.
'My god I looked terrible...'
It played another video. This time it was when the person asked for my name. It was from another person's cell phone too, but it had higher-quality video.
"What's your name?" the person asked. The video showed the face of the girl that had asked me. She was my age, tall, and had light brown hair.
The video turned back to me, and I was hovering there in front of them all.
"My name is Jack."
"Jack Sovner."
Then I spun around and disappeared in a flash of light that blinded everybody. There were screams playing on the video, and the screen turned white, and there was a bunch of static, then it turned off.
It went back to showing the news crew, and two pictures showed on the screen. One that was different from the others.
It was the human me. It was from the last school photo that had been taken of me which was at the beginning of the year, side by side to the one of me first standing there in front of the reporter.
"Apparently they had said that their name was Jack Sovner, correct?" spoke a woman.
"Yes indeed, and we did a search on that name and received several matches, one which was in the area of the sighting." said a man.
"Do you think this could be linked somehow?" she asked him.
"Possibly, but then again it could have given itself a name."
"More information coming up, we will be back again soon."
I turned off the tv.
"Great, now even MORE people know! It's all over the news!"
I flew back up to my room, and made my way to the window. The blinds were shut, so nobody could see inside. I opened one of them and looked through. People were still outside, thankfully not as many as before. Nobody seemed to notice, and I flopped back down on my bed.
'How am I supposed to deal with this...'
I went about my house, trying to find something to occupy me. Then, it hit me.
My laptop! Maybe I could do something on there.
I turned it on, and went to log in. I began typing, but then I realized I don't have fingers. I thought about having my set of hands on the keyboard, and began typing. Thankfully this worked, I still don't understand how either. I'm a pegasus! I can't do magic. Unless it was a result of being a human, and I had special access to magic. That's probably the reason. To move the mouse, I imagined grabbing it in my hands and moving it around. After than, I didn't even have to think about moving it and the mouse went wherever I wanted. I opened up the internet (NOT Internet Explorer.) and saw my homepage. I went onto youtube to look for something interesting to watch, and this didn't help AT ALL. In the featured box was a video of me titled
REAL FOOTAGE OF STRANGE ANIMAL
It had over 2 million views. Great. Now I wasn't just regional, but national. That's just great. I guess I was considered an alien, but not really. I decided to watch it, and one of the top comments was
"I want it as my pet :)"
Great . Now I wasn't just an alien, but a pet now too. Probably just a brony obsessing over the fact that ponies are ACTUALLY real. Well they aren't real, but judging from whats happened... I guess they are now.
I swear, if anybody finds me and kidnaps me, maybe I will just have to light them on fire. No, I wouldn't light them on fire first. I would probably cover them in glue, then cover them in feathers. Then I would light them on fire. No lighter fluid though, the feathers would be enough. Never would expect that the little harmless pony that you KIDNAPPED would set you on fire now would you? Yeah, that's right. Run away, hot chick...
Anyway, the voice said to me that I will make a great difference in "this world". Was it telling the truth? Am I the only person out there? Are there other people too?
I really do hope I'm not the only one out there...
Same Place, Same Time, Different Body
After a few more minutes of being frustrated, I went downstairs to get dinner.
"Man I'm so hungry. Probably because I skipped every meal today."
I looked around at what I could make. There were tortillas, bread, cereal, and a bunch of other things that you would normally have in a kitchen. I decided I would make a hot tortilla on the stove, just because it was easy and it took a minute.
I got out pans by flying up to the cupboards which were really high, so this helped. I put it down, and heated it up on the stove. I put on a tortilla, and in less than a minute I had dinner. I admit, it's not the best thing to have, but hey: if you want to survive the night, and someone finds you, you're gonna be glad you had that tortilla.
Anyway, after eating I went to bed because there isn't much to do when you're trapped in your own house. I settled down, and fell asleep immediately.

---Morning---
I got up, and yawned loudly. My wings had gone numb from sleeping on them last night.
"I need to make sure that doesn't happen again..." I grumbled.
All of my doors and windows were shut, locked, and covered.
"I really need to get out. Badly. I can't trap myself in here forever!" I groaned to myself.
"But I need to avoid them . What if they find me? I'll probably just teleport somewhere safe, I guess."
I closed my eyes, and thought about my backyard. I thought about the feeling of the ground. I thought about the few trees around me. I thought of the direct location I would be.
Then I jumped.
In a flash of light, I appeared outside my house, in the backyard, exactly where I imagined.
'Cool.'
'That was easier than I thought.'
I decided I would take a walk through my area, and see everybody's reactions.
First I walked down a street near mine, and somebody was hosing off their car after they had washed it. It was a nice, hot and sunny weekend. It was the perfect day to get out.
The man saw me out of the corner of his eye, and turned around. He just stood there and stared at me, hose in his hands. I waved to him, and he dropped the hose on the ground, and the water splashed in his face when he dropped it. How it did that, I don't know, but it was hilarious!
I kept walking, and I got further into the more populated areas. Cars were going by, a few people were on the streets, and a few shops lines the sides. When I was walking down the sidewalk, all the traffic that went by me slowed down. I thought it was pretty funny.
I had some money kept under my wing just in case I was hungry, so I went into the 7-11 close by to have some fun. I went in, and the guy behind the counter stared at me in disbelief. I casually grabbed a doughnut and I gave him a dollar and left saying:
"Keep the change."
I was walking around, minding my own business, eating the sugary maple doughnut I had just purchased. I was no longer in the busy area of town, and was just taking a stroll through a couple neighborhoods. Nobody was outside, so I thankfully wasn't being bombarded by anyone. I kept walking, and decided to try and eat it using my magic instead of my hands- well, hooves actually. I looked at it and imagined holding it and eating it like I was a human. To my surprise, it was surrounded in a silver aura that came over to me. I took a bite, and it was just like normal. It startled me a bit though, I have to admit.
I went to take another bite of my doughnut when I was walking, and heard a rustling in the area near me.
"Hey! Who's there?" I said, backing away.
There was more rustling in the bushes and trees. I backed away even more.
"Show yourself!" I yelled.
'Maybe this is my chance to have a brony barbeque. ' I thought.
"I- I'd prefer... not to. I might be seen." said a small voice, obviously coming from a girl who sounded maybe my age, I'm not sure.
"What do you mean...?" I asked curiously, slowly making my way back to the bushes.
A small mint-colored unicorn with long, seafoam green and white hair stuck her head out from the bushes, frantically looking around to see if there was anybody there.
"Hurry! Hide before anyone sees us!"
"What? Uh, ok." I said, dashing inside the small foresty area off of the street.
I sat down, then she ran over and sat down too. She looked at me, with a huge smile on her face and a look of relief.
"You have NO idea how relieved I am to find out that I'm not the only one!" she said, extremely excited.
"Me too! I thought I was the only one out there who has this problem." I said, also slightly relieved.
'I Guess there's no brony barbeque anymore...'
"What's your name?" I asked her.
"My name's Alicia. Alicia Halsey. Nice to meet you Jack!"
"Nice to meet you to Alicia. Now how do you know my name exactly...?"
"You're all over the news silly! That's what I wanted to avoid."
"Don't worry about it though, it's ok to be on the news and stuff. I just act casual while people sit there wide-eyed and stare at me. Like how I got this doughnut. I just bought it and left. A few people started freaking out though. I don't let it bother me, I actually find it funny." I explained to her.
"Hm."
"I think it's fine, except for yesterday when I had 300 people outside my house when I was sleeping on a cloud. I mean, is it that fascinating?"
"To them it is, considering we are mythological animals AND we look 2-Dimensional."
I lifted up my hoof and tried to examine it, but never really saw any depth or 3-dimensions.
"Weird, I guess your right. Anyway, you wanna go out there? We will probably be left alone people see that there are more than one of us." I suggested.
"Only problem is that I'm really shy, and I hate talking to people."
I looked at her with an "Oh really?" face.
"Excluding you."
"Haha. Okay, then in that case, I'll handle the talking if it requires it. Otherwise, we should probably keep a low profile. If we are crowded with people we can just teleport away. You know how to do that, right?" I asked. "You are a unicorn, so you would be more skilled in magic than me."
"Um, no."
I sighed, and gave her the quick overview.
"Basically, just think where you want to go, in the most descriptive detail as possible. Think of the area around you, and the EXACT location you will 'land'."
"Mhmm, I'm ready!"
"Now jump!"
I watched her leap into the air, and in a flash of light she was sitting on a tree stump. She slowly opened here eyes, and looked around, then at me.
"Did it work?" I asked.
"Yeah, I guess!" she said, hopping off.
"Now lets get out from the shadows."
Same Place, Same Time, Different Body
It was nearing lunchtime, probably around 11:30 or so, and we were just leaving the area. Alicia was tagging behind me, and I was thinking of a possible place to go. We could go to my place, make something there, maybe another survival tortilla, or we could go to somewhere nearby.
"Are you sure we'll be fine? Because, I really don't want to deal with anyone- especially reporters. They would ask so many questions, and I hate answering questions." she said in a slightly-happy tone.
"As far as I'm concerned, people would most likely leave us alone. What happened to me was bad, and there's not a chance they will do it again."
'I hope...'
We made our way through a couple neighborhoods, and she told me about her life, friends, and other stuff, which I didn't pay too much attention too.
Although, she went to my school, had the same lunch break as me but wasn't in any of my classes.
"... And then they suggested oatmeal for breakfast, and then my friends and I were like 'Oatmeal, are you crazy ?!' because we think oatmeal is way too hot and boring, and cereal is a lot better..."
"I guess so. It's nearing lunchtime, you want anything?" I asked, looking back at her.
She stopped silent, and a look of disappointment came on her face.
"I.. I can't go out there. There's people!"
I rolled my eyes a little at this.
"I've dealt with many people in my life. Likeable people, dislikable people, bullies, and some people who are just plain creepy. I'm sure we can get through a little walk in public"
"This is different, Jack! Your a silver pony with wings, and I'm a green-"
"Mint." I corrected.
"- unicorn. It's not like being a human! People haven't seen this before! Especially since we can talk and think."
"and fly!" I said, grinning. Everyone practically afraid of things that fly.
"Exactly."
I started walking again, and looked back at her again putting my hoof on her shoulder.
"Come on, please! I promise you nothing bad will happen." I said reassuringly.
"Fine! I'm going to come with you in... public, and eat lunch only because I'm really hungry."
I cheered enthusiastically. She chuckled at this.
We began making our way into the more populated areas of town, except today it was way busier than usual.
"I wonder why there are so many people out here today." I said.
"Probably because when everybody saw you earlier, they expected you to come back for lunch as well." she answered.
"I guess your right."
"Except this time, he brought a friend." she said.
"And his friend has changed her mind about going into public because she doesn't want to be the center of attention!"
She started to run off, but I chased after her.
"Hey! Wait! Come back please!" I yelled.
She stopped, turned around, and looked at me.
"Why should I, Jack."
"Because what if we are not the only ones? If we go out there, and there is someone else too with the same... problem, maybe they will come out."
"But everyone is going to think I'm a freak!"
I looked at her, and thought for a second.
"Well, I guess you can say tha-"
"Hey!" she said playfully punching me.
"Not what I wanted to hear!"
I started laughing, then she shot a glare at me you would never want to get.
"Okay, okay. Sorry."
"I guess I'll come out, but dont expect me to say anything." she said.
We continued on down a few roads and streets, when we finally made it to where everybody was gathered. Stores lined the streets, and a large amount of people were walking around doing their own thing. I slowly walked out cautiously into the open. I eyed my surroundings, looking for somewhere to go. We hadn't been noticed yet thankfully.
I turned back to her and asked,
"Anywhere you want to go?"
"Do you have any money, Jack?" she asked.
I lifted up my wing, revealing my small wallet.
"Right here. I'm prepared for any situation."
"Is that so?" She said pointing at me with her hoof.
"That doesn't count. Anyway like I said before, is there anywhere you want to go?" I said looking back while walking in the same direction as before. I was heading for a group of people and didn't realise it.
"Jack, turn around!" she said as soon as I bumped into the large group of people, which were near even more people.
She quickly hid behind a pillar nearby, and left me where I was.
I looked at what I had bumped into, and there were several people there talking to each other. Most likely a group of friends hanging out for the day. The guy I had bumped into turned around to see what bumped into him, but he didn't see me.
"What the heck?" he said.
He looked around more, even looked up, but never once looked down at the ground. He turned to his friend and looked at him in the eye.
"I'm getting tired of your tricks Clifford..."
"Tricks? Allen, what are you talking about?"
"You just hit my leg!"
"When?"
"Just now!"
"Wasn't me dude, must've been something else..." he said, trailing off his speech and looking directly at me.
I looked back at him nervously.
'Better not try anything funny.' I thought.
I slowly stepped back nervously then quickly left.
I hid behind a pillar near me, and looked around for Alicia. She was nowhere in sight.
"Did... Did you just see that?"
"Not funny."
"But, it was right there!"
"Okay, it's really annoying now. Just stop it."
He grumbled, then I heard a lot of footsteps leaving the area. I poked my head around the corner.
"Thank Celestia they are gone..."
Wait... What? Why did I just say that? I was going to say 'Thank God'.
But it seemed much more natural to say that instead... But Equestria isn't real! This whole pony thing is really getting to me.
There was a rustling in the greenery next to me and she popped her head out and panicked.
"Are you insane? You were almost seen!"
"I *was seen." I corrected.*
"Great! That's just perfect!" she said annoyed.
I rolled my eyes.
"It doesn't matter that much!"
She sighed, and climbed out of the greenery. How did she blend in so well? Oh well.
I started walking off, and she stood still, still slightly panicked, but less than before.
"Where are you going?!" she said.
"Food ring a bell?" I said tauntingly.
She facehoofed (I think that's what it's called, it seems about right) and followed after me. She was walking a bit low, like she was expecting someone to pop out from nowhere and try to kill us. That could happen, but it wasn't very likely.
"So... you wanna go grab a burger or something?" I said.
"Jack."
"What?"
"We can't eat meat!"
"Oh, right..." I said, a bit saddened.
But even then, meat sounded just sickening to me. Why? That's practically all I ever ate!
'Maybe I will just have to make some food at home...'
"Hey, uh, Alicia?" I asked.
"What, Jack."
"You wanna come over to my place? We might have a... better chance of getting food. I don't think I will get anything from fainting cashiers." I said.
She looked at me with her eyebrow raised, then asked
"What about your family? Won't they see us?" she asked.
"Nah, they're on vacation for 4 weeks, left me at home by myself thankfully." I said, relieved that they wouldn't have to deal with their own son physically changed for the rest of his life. Wait, what if I am stuck like this forever, what if I can never go to school again? What would my family think? Would they get rid of me? No they wouldn't. They couldn't do that to their own son. Trap him in a zoo for the rest of his life. Oh Celestia, why did I think of that? Wait, Celestia? The heck?
"Crap, it happened again..." I mumbled to myself quietly.
"Hm?" she asked.
"Nevermind, lets head to my place. Well, if you want to, that is."
"Yeah sure, its fine..." she said.
We started walking again, keeping clear of a few crowds and hiding, a couple people probably thought they saw us (which they did, by the way) then just shook their head and rubbed their eyes.
We were just leaving the busier part of town, when someone spotted us. We were turning a corner of a building, and there was somebody on the other side walking our way. We didn't see them, neither did they see us, until Alicia and I both bumped into him. I looked up and locked eyes with the person.
It was some guy, obviously in not much of a rush. He was most likely talking to a friend on his phone because of the way he was talking, and how he was laughing before he saw us. He stopped in the middle of his sentence, and talked into the phone.
"Hey, uh... I'll need to call you back." he said.
"Wait, why?" said a voice on the phone, it was very quiet and I could hardly hear it. He cut him off and ended the call and placed his phone in his pocket, still looking at us two.
I looked over at Alicia, who was shaking so much you would think she had been inside a freezer for an hour. Her eyes were full of worry and fright.
The man rubbed his eyes several times, then pointed at me with a shaky finger and said:
"You're... You're that thing from the..."
"News. Yeah." I said shrugging.
He moved his gaze and pointed at Alicia this time.
"How did..."
"What?" I said.
"Did you do this?" he asked me, frightened.
"What? Nonono!" I said frightened.
"Oh my god! You're going to turn everyone into a horse!"
"What the? No I won't!" I yelled at the man.
"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! AHHHHHH!!" he screamed, running away from us.
"The heck?" I said, confused.
"And I'm a pony, not a horse."
A ton of people were in the area now, I have no idea how they got there. When the man screamed and ran, everybody turned to him. They all looked in the direction of where he was running, and saw me.
"There it is!"
"Quick, go get everybody!"
"HES HERE!"
"There's another one!"
Great, they found us! Exactly what was not supposed to happen.
I turned back to Alicia, and she was on the ground, passed out from stress. She was breathing heavily. I turned back to the people looking at us, and they all had their phones out, recording video and taking pictures. I stood still and took it all in. I focused on what was happening. I thought on what to do to solve this situation.
Should I run? No, not the best idea. They will follow me.
Should I fly away? Probably not considering I haven't gotten the hang of it yet, and I'm going to be carrying somepony else. Somepony? Where did that come from? Dear Celestia I hope I'm not going insane. Celestia? The heck? Maybe I AM going insane.
Anyway, back to solutions. I have somebody passed out on the ground next to me, a large group is forming, and the amount of people and cameras are increasing by the minute. Come on, Jack. What did I say earlier? Yes!
I'll warp home!
I got out of my deep thought, and saw the large group again.
'My life is going to screwed up for a long time after all of this...'
The same man from before ran in front of the group and pointed at Alicia and I.
"QUICKLY! DON'T STAND THERE! HES GOING TO TURN YOU INTO A HORSE TOO! HE'S ALREADY DONE IT TO HER!" he said.
A few people ran away, but the rest of the group just came closer, ignoring the man.
I flew up into the air, cameras and eyes follow me as I did it, and I swooped down and picked her up. She was lighter than I thought, but a lot heavier than me. I looked at the crowd, winked, then disappeared in a flash of light.
I landed in my room, still holding Alicia, and set her on my bed. I fell to the floor extremely tired and light-headed, then passed out.
Hey everyone, just to clarify, he is NOT an alicorn. He can however do weak forms of magic, and there is a reason that I will explain later. I'm sorry I haven't uploaded a new chapter in a while, but to make up for it it is a LOT longer than normal and hopefully much more interesting. I won't be able to make another chapter for a week, so until then, enjoy. :)

Sorry to make this chapter short, its just something I quickly threw together.
"Jack, wake up..."
"Wha..."
"Jack! I know your in there! Wake up you sleepy head!"
"No mom, give me 5 more minutes... mehhhhhhh..."
"Jack, i'm not your mother. Now get up!"
"No." I said, covering my head and turning over.
"Do you want me to do it the hard way?"
"What do you mean hard wa- OUCH!" I said. She had hit me in the head with her hoof.
"It hurts a lot more than you think!" I rubbed my head moaning, trying to get the pain away.
"Well, sleepyhead, I did tell you to wake up now didn't I?" she said.
"Whatever..."
"So, Jack."
"Hm?"
"What happened to lunch, huh?"
"I think it flew away." I said sarcastically.
She lifted up her hoof, with a smug look on her face.
"Do you want me to hit you again?"
"What? Huh? No! Nononoono! Please."
"Okay."
"So, do you know what time it is?" I asked.
She walked over to me, and put a hoof on my shoulder.
"Do I look like a watch to you?"
"No, but you look like a clock." I said, laughing.
SMACK
"Ow! Stop hitting me!" I moaned.
"Maybe, if you stopped with your attitude, and improved your manners I wouldn't have to."
I sighed, but shrugged it off.
Wait, how do ponies shrug? That doesn't make much sense. It sort of does, but I can't really think of how it would. Meh. Oh well.
I lifted myself off of the ground, and went down the stairs. Alicia followed closely behind me. I made my way into the kitchen, and it was the next morning.
"Wow, we slept for a while." i said.
"You mean, that YOU slept for a while?" she said.
"You were already awake?" I asked.
"How do you think I hit you?" she said.
"Oh."
"So, do you going to make some breakfast?" she asked me.
"Me?" I asked.
"Yeah you. I don't know how to cook." she said sticking out her tongue.
"What about cereal?" I asked.
I looked to where she used to be standing, and she wasn't there anymore.
I flew into the living room, and the tv was on, showing the news.
The screen read:
ANOTHER FOUND
She turned back to me, pointing at the screen. She was sitting on the couch in a weird position.
That's odd, that way of sitting is very, very familiar. I swear i've seen that somewhere before.
I looked at the screen again, and it showed once again me, but she was there too, looking frightened. Then the insane guy ran out, the camera pointed at him, then he screamed and ran away again.
Again after a while, two flashes of light appeared, this time grey and bright green.
It looked pretty interesting, then again it messed up all the cameras again when it happened and made them static up.
The video went back to the news crew of flailing idiots that have NO idea what they are talking about.
"Why exactly are we watching this?" i asked.
She just kept staring at the screen, hoof still pointed out. It looked very suspicious.
"Hello, you there? Equestria to Alicia!" I said, waving my hoof in front of her face.
"Alicia, are you okay?" I asked, reaching out to poke her.
Surprisingly, my hoof went right through, and she dissolved into thin air.
"AH! What's happening?" I said, slowly walking backwards.
"Boo." she said, right behind me.
"Ack!" I shrieked, falling onto the floor, heart beating really fast.
She came into my vision, and started laughing her head off.
"Not funny." I said picking myself up, still shaking a bit.
Sorry for the really, really short chapter guys, wanted to get the message in the beginning out. This is just to see if anyone is still reading this. If you are reading this fic, PLEASE tell me that you still want me to update it. If I don't get anything back, I may as well just cancel it. You know, whats the point of writing something if nobody reads it? (Which has happened SEVERAL times before. "Write this long essay" they said. "We'll look over it in class" they said. They lied.) :P
So, please tell me if you want more of this, and maybe provide some suggestions or questions for the meantime. I have plans for later, but i'm not quite sure how I'm going to get there yet. This chapter is just a filler, keep in mind. Its not a work of art, just something I quickly threw together. :)

Hello, everyone! I re sparked my inspiration for this story, and I'm going to be giving it a HUGE change. Not going to turn it into a pony though. Then it would run/fly away! :P
However, expect more chapters soon!

'Breakfast' had been made, and the air was filled with the aroma of scrambled eggs and toast. A couple fans were on in the house, but I didn't open the windows yet. Still too risky. You never know when stalkers might be hanging around.
"Hey, thanks for the breakfast!" she called out from the living room. I smiled.
"Yeah, your welcome!" I yelled back.
'At least she has manners.' I thought.
I left the pan on the stove out of pure laziness, and the fact that it wasn't something I wanted to deal with right now. I threw away what scraps I had left, and grabbed the greasy plates and put them into the sink.
As I made my way back over to the living room again, I kept my guard up just in case. You never know, she might decide to mess with me again. I lightly flew over the ground and landed onto the couch, trying to figure out a proper way to sit on it.
Alicia kept her unusual way that she was sitting, which still vaguely reminded me of something, or somepony. Someone, I mean. Gah, pony senses are getting to my head. I would call a therapist, but then they would probably have to book an appointment with one themselves. I silently laughed to myself as the thought of a therapist visiting a therapist came and left my head.
Brief description of my head for you:
A scary place that holds too much random stuff and information, that somehow decides that a sub-sandwich is related to a burglar.
Don't ask.
Anyway, I snapped out of my 'amazing' journey from within my head and I focused on what was happening.
Alicia was watching the TV, while eating some popcorn.
Wait, what? Popcorn?
"Hey, uh, where did you get that popcorn?" I asked, curiously.
"I made it." she responded, shoving a hoof-full of popcorn into her mouth.
"How... did you make it...? I don't have any popcorn here..."
'At least I don't think I do.'
"Easy!" she said, popping another piece into her mouth with her magic. Haha. Popping.
"I just got some corn, and made popcorn!" she explained, like there was clearly NOTHING weird about it.
"And how did you get this said 'corn'?" I asked.
"I dunno, I just did!" she responded.
Pinkie Pie physics, maybe? We are ponies... But isn't only the party queen herself capable of doing such impossible feats? Meh, whatever. Being a living cartoon doesn't really help explain it either.
I shook my head flying away, only to be hit by a piece of popcorn which was followed by giggling. I turned around, and there were about 7 of Alicia standing in front of me, not moving at all.
"Okay...? Creepy... " I responded, trying to ignore the fact that were 7 of the same person standing right there.
'Better prepare for more of her tricks later on. '
I thought to myself. I went to go fly upstairs when it hit me.
"Where am I going?" I thought out loud.
I heard a "How am I supposed to know?" from downstairs.
Ok, I apparently said it MUCH louder than I thought. Meh, oh well.
I hovered in place, halfway up the stairs. Or would it be halfway down? Either way, I was debating exactly on what I was supposed to do.
My thoughts were interrupted by a knocking on the door.
I quickly flew down, and flicked every light off. I quickly told her to switch the TV off, which took some convincing. The house fell into a very dark and eerie state. Only the faint glow of light coming through the curtains illuminated the house.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
There it was again, the knocking at the door.
We turned our heads to each other, and I had no idea what to do.
"You're not the only one."
"They will find you before you find them..."
There it is again! The weird voices! Something was telling me on the inside to go open the door. I don't know what it was, but it was a constant drive. Before I knew it, I actually started to move without realizing it. My hoof was reaching the door handle before I caught myself. I sighed and decided to go with it.
"Here goes nothing... " I whispered to myself.
I took a deep breath, closed my eyes hovering in place when I gripped the door handle with my hooves (don't ask how I did it, not even I know.) and opened the door.
The sunlight blasted through the dark confinement of my home, and the dust in the air was floating past the beams of light.
I heard a large THUMP on the ground behind me, which I suspect would be Alicia.
Oh crap! Not good!
I opened my eyes and turned around, seeing Alicia lying on the floor fainted.
She had passed out on the ground behind me, hopefully NOT from a tranquilizer dart.
"Well, that's not good." said a male voice in the doorway.
I turned around, looking up suspecting it to be a person.
I was wrong.
A light brown earth pony stood in my doorway, a worried and confused look on his face.
My mouth was hanging open, and I was still managing to be hovering in the entryway of my house.
He reached his hoof out towards me to shake hooves.
"Name's David! For a while there, I thought I was the only one. Well, until you had your incident ."
My eye twitched, and I passed out on the ground, landing with a loud thump that echoed through the whole house.
"Well, that was unexpected."

DAVID'S POV

As soon as I reached out my hoof to shake, Jack twitched, then passed out in mid-flight and hit the ground with a loud thump. I winced at his pain.
"Well, that was unexpected." I said to myself.
I let myself in, carefully examining my surroundings. The house was a fair size. I saw a staircase, so I assume that it's two or more stories. The wood floor was loud underneath my hooves, and it then reached into a carpet-floored living room.
For some reason, this 'living room' was littered with popcorn.
'Odd.' I thought.
I didn't want to be seen, and I knew that they wouldn't want to either, so I shut the door and locked it. It closed with a loud BANG, which woke up the green unicorn. I don't know her name yet, but I will soon.
"Jack, what happened? I can't remember."
I gave no response. Duh, my name's not Jack.
"Jack?" she asked, picking herself up.
She turned around and she saw me standing there with an unconscious Jack laying to my right. She looked at me, then to Jack, then back to me. Her face turned red and got to one of ABSOLUTE anger, it almost looked like steam would come out of her ears any second.
She took a deep breath and yelled at the top of her lungs.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO JACK YOU IDIOT?!?!"
My ears went to the back of my head, and I was too afraid to say anything.
She slowly began walking over to me, head lowered, looking like she would kill me at ANY second.
I finally managed to talk and blurted out an incomprehensible set of words:
"Jackdibnomatthigla jdasulaoildbxialaoe out!"
She took a step back.
"What?" she said confused. I mean, who wouldn't be confused?
"Jack passed out!" I said to her.
She recollected her senses, and everything clicked in her mind.
"OOOHHhhhh!! Okaaaay..."
I sighed and laughed at the same time. She is one weird pony. Er, person. Yeah. That.
"So... Whats your name?"

Not very long, but I had a hard time writing it for some reason. I don't know why.

I didn't like the old one, so I just scrapped it and quickly made a new one.
If you want your own pony in a real life setting, PM me with a transparent picture of your pony and what you want the setting to be.
I experimented with a few POV's in this chapter, as requested and suggested by a few people. Please provide feedback on that, it's something new to me, and if it's no good, let me know and I'll get rid of it!

Due to the "poll" results, I got a pretty obvious answer...
This fic is going to be focused around choice D! :D
I know some of you don't like choice A and B (Therefore choice C).
So, because of this, I am choosing choice D but choice C will be the majority of it.
A and B will still happen, but not like you think.
When I said HiE, I meant the concept but definitely not the normal scenario.
As for choice B, it will play a little bit in this.
Also, I changed Alicia's color to green . I hope you don't mind. I edited the previous chapters to fix this issue :)
It will play a big role. You'll see later. *evil smile*
So again, it's going to be a combination of all of this! And it's not going to be normal, because what's the fun in that? Not knowing what's going to happen is better by far. And what's going to happen is not going to be awful. So don't run away, because that wouldn't be good and we'd have to put missing posters everywhere.

DAVID POV
"So... Whats your name?" he asked, curiously.
"My name?" She asked.
I looked at her and replied with absolute sarcasm,
"No, your age..."
"Ohhhhhh! My age? Why didn't you say so! My age would be 13 years, 4 months, 10 days, 7 hours, and 23 minutes!"
After trying to figure out how on earth she knew that, I facehoofed (I think it's the correct term. I would say facepalm, but at the moment I don't have any palms.)
"Can you please just tell me your name?" I asked.
"Oh yeah, it's Alicia. Alicia Halsey."
"So... who are you?" she asked.
"Oh, I'm David." I said plainly, and a bit nervously.
She looked at me, confused.
"David, as in, just David?"
"Does my actual name really matter?" I asked her, trying to change the subject.
She considered the thought.
"Hm. No, I guess it doesn't."
I was about to move when she blinked out of sight, and then right back in sight again, holding a bowl of popcorn.
"Want some?"
JACK POV
I woke up, my mind all foggy and my eyelids heavy. My mind isn't exactly empty right now, and I wasn't really focusing on what I was doing. I had managed to walk out and collapse on the couch in the living room before realizing that I was no longer unconscious.
Then I remembered there was someone else here.
I leaped up off the couch and zoomed over to where I heard 2 voices, one being Alicia's.
"...So then I was like, 'You want me to make the pasta? But I only have marshmallows!"
I mentally facepalmed (again) and landed down where they were. I walked over and decided to put an end to her weird topic.
"Uh, hi?" I said.
They turned around and then David, I think it was, spoke.
"Oh hey, you're awake. You passed out around half-an-hour ago."
I checked the time on the digital clock in the room, and it read 11:42 AM. I guess it still was morning, and there was still time for the rest of everything that would go on. Hopefully not much.
"Yeah! I was starting to get worried there for a while. But you're fine now!" She said happily.
"So..." I said. "What's on today's agenda?"
"I dunno. I was hoping for something along the lines of messing with some people, you know." she said.
"You sure? Aren't you a bit shy around people?" I asked. David seemed to take note of that, like he had a huge bullet list of 'Important Things I Need to Know' inside his head.
"Yeah, Duh. But not unless I'm PRANKING THEM!" she yelled out.
Uh oh. Unicorn + Pranks + Magic = Dangerous
David and I shared a worried glance, then my eyes darted back to Alicia.
"Yeah, sure... Okay. I think that would be fine..."
"YAY!" She screamed.
Then she proceeded to yell a bunch of random stuff about how she was going to prank people and what she was going to do while zipping around the kitchen near the speed of light grabbing a bunch of supplies and setting them on a table.
"CALM DOWN!" Yelled David.
Alicia got down from mid-air (I have NO idea how she was floating or why she was there in the first place) and sat still, completely quiet.
"Now hold on. Are you sure this is the best idea...?" he asked.
"We might be caught, or even followed by pesky news crews again!"
"Or that silly lunatic."
"Yeah him too. Now, again, are you sure this is the best idea?"
We all sat still to consider the thought, and I came up with my answer pretty fast.
"Yeah." Alicia and I said at the same time.
"Okay then... Not my fault if you end up in a net or something." he said.
Wait a second...
"HEY!" I yelled at him.
He thought for a second, and then casually replied.
"Well, technically we a-"
"It's fine. He didn't mean it like that." said Alicia, interrupting David's explanation. She was in her sort of serious mood right now.
"Fine." I said.
"Apology considered." he said with a stupid grin on his face.
SOMEWHERE ELSE
My, my, my, this plan is brilliant! It's unfoilable too!
Who would ever know such a place existed that is so FULL of chaos?
All I did was a simple snap of my fingers, change a few people into ponies, and vwhalla!
People literally just sit there and watch their world fall beneath them. They freak out, they cause fights, and everybody gets angry with one-another. There's so much chaotic energy here, I wish I could've found out sooner!
Hahahaha!
Maybe, just maybe, I CAN DO MORE!

Streets, 4 miles away from Jack's house.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" David asked again, for the hundredth time.
"YES!" I said.
"What could possibly go wrong?"
"That." He said, pointing towards a huge group of people standing outside of a store.
"Really? That's it? It's not like Alicia's gonna run over there and-"
I looked to my left. I looked to my right.
"Where'd she go...?" I asked.
I looked back over to the group, and she had already managed to set up some kind of prank for someone to run into. She had somehow stretched a bunch of clear plastic wrap (somehow obtained) around two of the rough columns that stood in front of the shop. Some guy was making his way past the large group in front of the store, obviously in a hurry. He started to dash past them, then ran into the wall of plastic wrap. He was dazed for a second, but then eventually ignored it and walked around the obstacle. A few people standing outside the store had noticed what he did and were silently laughing to themselves.
"Did you see that!?" Alicia half screamed/giggled right behind us both.
"Gah!" David yelped, leaping forward and getting in a defensive stance.
"Oh, its you. You really need to stop doing that to people, or we're all going to go insane!" he said.
"Oh well!" she sang.
She giggled again mischievously, and started to bounce off somewhere.
"Hey, wait! Come back!" I yelled to her.
She didn't listen, of course. She just bounced away, going to go get herself in more trouble. I sighed, turning towards David. He sighed too, and began running after her. I decided it would be best if I went after her too.

We eventually found her 2 minutes later, getting ready to pester some more people outside of a random coffee shop. Every time we went to go grab her, she deftly dashed out of our grabbing range.
By the time we were able to get hold of her, some guy on a bike saw us. He kept moving forward, eyes fixed on us, and not what's in front of him. He ended up running over one of those concrete bumper things in parking lots where parking spaces are. He yelped, and the front tire of his bike did a tight yank, propelling his head into the sidewalk.
Thankfully he had a helmet on.

A couple hours later, after playing cat and mouse with Alicia we got home. David and I were in an absolute mess, but she was just fine, bouncing through the front door like nothing ever happened. I was huffing and puffing, trying to catch my breath.
"We... are NEVER... EVER... doing THAT again..." David panted out between breaths.
I collapsed on the floor, still breathing heavily.
"Told you it was a bad idea." I said, not really thinking. No really. When i'm out of breath expect me to say stupid things.
"YOU?...Said...Bad idea?" he exclaimed,
"Nonononono. No. No you didn't. That would be me." He continued.
I looked at him with a surprised expression that lasted for only a moment. Then it changed to a bored one.
"Oh. Right." I said flatly.
Five minutes later, she bounced out of the kitchen and back to the carpet-floored living room that currently housed an aching me. On the floor. I don't know where David is, probably somewhere in my house.
She smiled, then scrunched her face up like she ate something sour.
"Where the heck are we supposed to sleep?" She asked.
Oh yeah. Right. I only have my own bed, and I have two additional people with me.
Sleeping bags don't necessarily work in this situation either.
"Uh, we could get some blankets or something and you could sleep on those. I guess."
"Oh! Ok!" She said, zipping off.
I got worried for a moment, not being able to predict a single thing she's done so far.
She ended up walking back with several pillows and blankets in her magical grip, floating above her in a cloud of light green. She set them down on the floor, and turned to look at me.
"Like these?" she asked.
I was completely confused. Instead of coming back with some random item of the color red, she just got some blankets. She REALLY makes no sense at all. One minute shes random, the other she's a normal person. Er- pony. Yeah.
She waved a hoof in front of my face.
"Helloooooooo?"
"Oh, yeah, what?"
"I said, 'Like these?'"
"Yeah, sure." I responded flatly.
It was evening now, and the glow of near-sunset was glowing through the back of the white curtains turning them orange. The windows on the other side of the house were dark, and most of the lights in my house were on. A few fans circulated the air in the rooms of the house as well.
David, seeming to come from nowhere, walked over to me holding something in his fore-hoof.
"Hey, I found this earlier." He said, making his way towards me of my location on a couch.
"Why do you have a sonic screwdriver?" he asked me, holding it in his hoof (defying the laws of physics, like any NORMAL PERSON/PONY DOES)
I responded,
"Because, I do." I mean, who doesn't. Oh. Right.
He gave me a face that said 'Seriously'
"Anyway, it doesn't really matter. It doesn't do anything." I said.
Alicia, sticking her head out from a mountain of pillows and blankets somewhat resembling a fort replied,
"Oh, that's EASY! I can fix that!"
I looked at David, a 'Holycrapnoway' expression plastered to his face. He looked like a kid in a candy store. Except no candy, no store, and not really a kid anymore. (Hey that rhymes. I'm a genius.)
Her horn began to glow, and it started to get really powerful. Like, I have no idea how on EARTH she was able to conjure that much up, not having an magic experience whatsoever. The screwdriver in David's hoof began to make noises, and was glowing a bright green that lit up the entire room.
The lights started to dim a little, and she had a REALLY concentrated look on her face. Like a straight-A student on the first 5 minutes of a test. Weird comparison, but whatever. I can't think of anything else. It started making more and more noises, and big clunking sounds like it was rearranging itself on the inside.
Though, just when it started getting intense, it just stopped. Like, just stopped. No boom or anything. Kinda upsetting, actually. I was really looking forward to something.
From what I'm assuming, is that the screwdriver was charged with magic energy. Because magic energy can effect all things, it is fully functional. But that's just me. I'm not exactly a unicorn you know.
So she dug her head back into the now deemed pillowfort, and a muffled "ITS DONE NOW" was heard coming from the inside. David nervously poked at it with his hoof after setting it down on a table.
"It's not going to shoot confetti or anything, right?" He called out towards the pillowfort.
He got another muffled response that sounded somewhat like "I DONT KNOW". He rolled his eyes and said,
"Well, that's reassuring."
He finally picked it up, and clicked it a few times at things, a smile creeping up on his face.
"Oh my god, it works!" he yelled.
"Yowza!" he said, tossing it from hoof to hoof. (AGAIN, defying physics. How on earth did he throw it, OR EVEN CATCH IT?)
He paused his catching, and looked at me smiling.
"Funny thing is, you see, I don't even know how I'm doing this!" he said, with a hint of an accent that I just now picked up. (I don't know. maybe hes from England or something.)
He started skipping around the room, zapping random things, and looking at the extended part.
Man, am I with a weirdly unusual crew.
A shy, hyperactive girl with practically split-personalities, who loves pranking, and can do magic. Man, is that weird.
Then theres the guy who acts oddly like The Doctor. No kidding. Maybe a bit too concerned about everything though, so he's not quite there yet. All he needs is a TARDIS and self-confidence.
Then there's me I guess. Not quite sure what I should say about myself though, I cant really describe it yet.
After disassembling Alicia's pillowfort (which she was VERY disappointed about, by the way) we organized a few makeshift beds on the floor of the living room. We had one extra empty one, like we were expecting someone. Or I was expecting someone. Or somepony. You know, same thing.
"You think we'll meet someone else tomorrow?" I asked them.
They turned to me and answered.
I got a "Yeah, I guess we might. I just don't want another day like this." from David, then a quiet
"Yes, maybe." from Alicia.
I thought about this myself.
Who would they be? What would they be?
I slowly put myself into sleep with these questions, then dreamed of nothingness.
Gee, how exciting.
Not.

Very (very) odd character set I have here right now, kinda waiting to come up with a new character next chapter.
(By the way, kinda hope you like David becoming some sort of version of The Doctor. A reviewer kinda gave me the idea [yes, you know who you are too.])

Same Place, Same Time, Different Body
Hello everyone!
I found a new word today, and it's really funny considering it matches exactly what I'm doing.
Here's the definition-

1. Temporarily inactive or disabled
And how that applies here?
Well, lets just say that I've decided to post fragments of the first chapter of the rewrite here for you guys.
That way, if you guys like it, then I will finish it as a brand new story!

On the same eventful Saturday, someone woke up in the afternoon.
Well, seeing how this story is, I guess it would have to be somepony now, wouldn't it?
Anyway, Jack woke up to nothing except his own snoring (which was fairly loud, by the way). Nobody was home, and nobody would be home for another week.
He also woke up due to the fact of his terrible bed placement, and the sun shining directly into his eyes. Anyway, he was just waking up, before springing out of bed.
Then falling.
He hit the floor, muzzle-first and scraping his face all over the carpet.
Now, with a carpet-burn on his face, he slowly got back up, moaning.
Until he fell again, then his face once again met the ground.
Struggling to push himself back up, he eventually gave up and just plopped back down on the floor, face in carpet.
About an hour later
Jack POV
I slowly opened my eyes, trying to gather my mind together. Or something.
Ugh, it's so bright in here. Stupid window thing. Why do I even have a window?
Why do windows even exist?
Man, this carpet is uncomfortable. Well, its not like I sleep on carpets anyway. Speaking of windows, why do houses have carpets? It's not like we walk or sleep on them or anything.
Wait, hold on. Why am I on the floor in the first place?
A quick look at my bed seeing the sheets spread everywhere, leading mostly towards my spot on this awful carpet, pretty much summed up what had happened.
I got up from the rugged and dirty old carpet, rubbing my face to subside the familiar stinging pain of carpet burn. Certainly wasn't the first time I've fallen out of bed.
I slightly swayed left and right, becoming dizzy from lifting my head up from my ackward position on the ground. Another look around to get my surroundings, suddenly confused me.
My head barely made it past the bed. Last time I checked, I was not a midget.
Well, at least I think I'm not a midget.
Either I've shrunk, or someone broke into my house and made everything taller than me.
The first one being less likely, of course.
I couldn't find myself to walk, still not bothering to figure out why. I just honestly wanted to get back onto my suddenly tall bed and go back to sleep. School had been a hassle all week, and sleep was calling my name.
"Jack..." "Jack..." "Jack..." "Jack..."
Oh hey look. It's actually calling me. I meant it as a figure of speech, but whatever.
I almost fell back down to the floor, before catching myself (weird phrase, if you think about it. I don't exactly know how one goes about catching themselves, if you think about Newton's Laws of physics and-).
I shook my head, and lightly trotted over to the bed's legs.
Observing it with my hoof, I had come to a conclusion.
My bed was in fact, not bigger!
The carpet was smaller!
Huh. I should celebrate with some sleep.
Sound good, me?
"Yeah."
Alright, good. I wasn't really counting on your opinion anyway.
Managing to find these weird looking square things in the corner of the room, I made a stack of them, almost resembling a staircase.
What are those things called again?
Oh well. They can come up with their own name, I guess.
I climbed back into my bed, trying to grab the covers with my incapable hooves. It really only just moved them around, I couldn't get any grip on it at all. My sleepiness reminded me of its presence, and I then just gave up and went back to sleep again.

'Oh my god. I'm a pony.'
I looked around, frozen in place from where I stood a few minutes ago. Frozen partially because the tile was very , very cold.
'More or less, a unicorn.'
I tried to process the thought, it just kept repeating over and over again.
It couldn't be happening! It just couldn't! It didn't even remotely make sense at all!
I took a few steps forward, then stopped again, sitting down on the cold tile floor.
Did I mention the tile was cold?
Nope, this is a dream. It can't be real!
'Although, that all seemed really detailed... I even feel awake.'
Haha! No! Come on [redacted] , you can't already be losing yourself over just a silly lucid dream.
I mean, there's several factors in lucid dreams- things don't make sense, and the distinct lack of fingers.
Both of which, were happening right now.
I lifted up my colored hoof, observing it a bit closer.
Well, I definately don't have fingers.
The hoof had really no depth or difference in color at all, besides the shadows projected from the natural lighting through the windows. Ugh, stupid big windows.
Speaking of which, she had noticed her hoof was light tan, maybe light-brown. Okay, I'm not her . That's always good!
'Well not entirely. I'm a pony, for crying out loud!'
Wait. I've been thinking for a while. Usually dreams pass by really fast, right?
So.
'Oh dear.'
I gasped.
"No!" I paced back and forth, at an incredible speed that could easily rival a cheetah.. Well, if I'm a pony, then is she real? Was everything real this entire time?
"Oh no, nononono!"
I quickly ran to the nearest bathroom, I was in need of a mirror and self confidence!

---Jack POV----
I eventually got off of my bed, not even bothering to make it because I'm dreaming (and physically incapable of doing so). I walked out my door, which was efficiently left open thanks to my laziness. I have no idea how I would open the doorknob with hooves.
I shuddered at the thought, and god have mercy on anypony who ever had to go through that.
But then again, I was dreaming. There was no way in anything at all this could be real.
It's just plain ridiculous thinking about it.
I laughed a bit to myself. How silly, I actually thought this was real!
I've been told lucid dreams were realistic, but dang.
This is pretty close, besides my distinctive lack of fingers and being a pony of some sort. And my room being slightly bigger.
I walked out to the living room of my empty house, until I stopped for a moment.
You know when you remember you're breathing automatically and then you have to breathe manually?
That's what happened when I realized I had no idea how I was walking.
Now here I was, stranded in the middle of a small, carpeted living room.
A small, ridiculous pony.
A ridiculous pony that is almost completely handicapped, and suffered major carpet burn.
You know how odd that sounds? Really odd.
Especially since I'm referring to myself.
Very odd if you ask me, but hey; that's natural for a dream right?
Because there was no way in the universe this could happen.
