Changing Time

It had been a week, my mom left to pose as Princess Cadence the day after I met Sunburst. Each and every day before the wedding, Sunburst came to meet me at the wastelands, or at least the edge of them. She couldn't get too close, so I made a time each day for us to meet. I told her EVERYTHING! How I wanted to be nice, my abilities, everything. Today was the wedding attack so Sunburst didn't meet me. She knew that the changelings would attack so I hoped when I showed up my mom would be in the dungeon! I was in charge of the changeling army so I knew I would have to look evil, and confident.

"ALRIGHT!" I  yelled at the army of changelings, "I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANY SCREW UPS THIS TIME, JUST FEED AND FOLLOW THE QUEEN'S ORDERS!" The changelings all saluted and followed me as we took off to get to Canterlot before the wedding finished up. I was a weak flier, so a changeling spy was helping me, and even carrying me when I was running out of steam.

We found the barrier like my mom said, and the changelings started to break it while I sneaked in as Scootaloo, one of the flower fillies. I ran to the castle and changed into Starburst, who was pretending to be sick for me. I sat next to Sunburst in the crowd. "Did you warn your mom about my mom?"

"I didn't say a word!" Sunburst said.

"WHAT?!" I whispered in a concerned voice, "You were supposed to warn some pony about the attack!"

"What! But I thought you wanted me to keep your secret!" My face went from shocked, to very upset with myself. I did tell her not to tell any pony about me, and warning about the attack meant she had to have a source. A source AND a witness of the plans. I was both of those, she couldn't say a word without revealing my secret to the world! I opened my mouth to whisper something, but it was too late.

We hadn't noticed the all commotion going on because we were so concerned about our conversation we somehow didn't notice my mom revealing herself. The thing that refocused our attention, was Sunburst glancing over and seeing her mom getting hurt by my mom! Twilight Sparkle and her friends went over to Celestia, and then left. It was most likely to get the elements of harmony, that wouldn't work, I knew it wouldn't. Sunburst ran over to Celestia right as the changeling army broke through the barrier!

"Hmph, good job Candy," my mom said with a smirk. Sunburst knew I would be acting now, so she just hugged her unconscious mother.

"All part of the plan!" I said with a fake grin on my face, "NOW can I feed?"

"Of course my darling, you've earned it." My mom smiled, and continued, "Before you go..." She walked over to Sunburst and Celestia. Sunburst looked up and shuddered.

"W-w-what are you going to do to us??" Sunburst cried, she was obviously terrified,hoping I would be able to stop this, or that some pony stronger would come in at that moment.

"I have an idea." My mom giggled hastily as she cast a spell, encasing Celestia in some slimy green goo that even I haven't learned about yet, along with Cadence and Shining armor's hooves, holding the two in place. She laughed, then turned to Sunburst, "As for you," my mom said, "if she wakes up, she can't have TOO much love in her life." My mom's voice lowered, I knew the spell she was about to use. I started to run over, and almost touched Sunburst.

I looked over at my mom, who stared at me as I hugged the dead Sunburst. I still had to act, so I braved up and said, "I wanted to do it! That's why I jumped in!"

"Oops, sorry my sweet heart," my mom said with a smile, "got carried away I suppose. Go now, feed!" My mom went back to the window and looked at the entire army, waiting for Twilight and her friends to return. I ran out of the room as quickly as possible.

I had found a shortcut out of the castle, and went to where the army was, awaiting orders. "Go attack Twilight Sparkle and her friends, NOW!" They followed my orders, and left me completely alone. I flew away as quickly as possible and made it to the outside of Canterlot, I ran the rest of the way out. My goal, was Ponyville.
