His mother always said “your destiny will reveal itself when you’re ready.” After years of waiting, Cicero was beginning to wonder how true that might be. Born a Protector, an alien race destined to safe-guard the lives of a planet’s dominant species, he had always felt at odds with the humans of the planet Earth. Always an outsider, and never quite belonging, Cicero spent his time drifting, waiting for his calling as his mother shielded the earthlings from themselves.
Until one day, Cicero is ripped from his earthly home and thrust into another world, one ruled by technicolored sapient ponies. With no way to return to earth, and no knowledge of what brings him to this planet known as Equis, Cicero must find a way to live amongst the ponies and learn their way of life. A powerful evil is taking shape in the dark corners of this world, and Cicero will need every ounce of strength to protect this world, discover powers he’s never dreamed of, and form bonds of friendship and love more powerful than the fibers that hold this universe together.

A.N. You don’t need to read this if you don’t want to. This section will provide more detail about the story and it’s tags. For all those interested though please continue. I haven’t submitted before so I’m not sure I did the tags 100% correct but I did what I felt I would like to see when picking a new story to read. I also like it when authors mention how much the more intense tags will be used. As such:
Gore: Slightly. When it logically fits into the story but it will be used sparingly.
Sex: I like romance in stories and thus sex is sure to follow. I will add sex when it fits in, and evolves, the story. Depending on its reception by readers of this story I might add more or less of it.
Dark: Not so much in total atmosphere but some parts of the story will probably get dark based on the plot I’m developing.
