“Sofia Labonte? Oh yes, she in Mr. Lafleur’s class,” The principal said and started walking leading Rarity down the hallway and then walked into her office. “I don’t wish to sound rude, but since we have never met before, do you have some ID and papers to prove she is your daughter,” She asked.

“Yes of course,” Rarity said expecting this. Her horn glowed and two pieces of ID floated to the desk with a sheet of paper.

“I spent my whole life believing that magic was not real, just an illusion or trick of the hand,” She said, grabbing the ID’s and paper that was floating in front of her.

“Where I come from it is as real as the air we breathe,” Rarity said with a smile.

“Equestria ambassador, permanent resident card, is it true you met the president?” She asked her and gave the ID’s back.

“Oh, he was such a gentleman, and his wife asked me to design a dress for her. It was an opportunity, I couldn’t pass up,” Rarity said as the ID cards were giving back to her.

She grabbed the cards with her right hoof and with a twist of her wrist, she put the ID’s back into her purse.

“How did you do that?” Miss Jenkins asked looking confused.

A few minutes later the door opened and Miss Jenkins walked out followed by Rarity.

“Like Velcro?” The principal said as Rarity hooves clopped on the floor as she walked next to her.

“In Equestria, ponies can grab lightweight objects, for everything else it is either push, pull or lift with magic,” Rarity explained.

“Hmm,” She said taking this in, trying to understand.

Sofia was back in class at her desk with her head between her arms hiding her face. Mr. Lafleur looked at Sofia and sighed as he continued with the math lesson.

“Now everyone please settle down, we are almost finished,” He said, grabbing a piece of white chalk and started to write out a math problem.

There was a knock on the classroom door so he put the chalk down and walked up to the door to open it.

“Hey everyone, it's our principal,” Mr. Lafleur said, stepping away from the door.

“Good afternoon, Miss Jenkins,” The class said together as she walked in the room.

Sofia lifted her head rubbing her runny wet noise and looked over at the principal.

“Thank you,” She said with a big smile, “We have a special guest this afternoon, she came all this way to see Sofia and to meet her friends,” Miss Jenkins winked at Sofia and walked over to the teacher’s desk.

The sound of clopping started to get louder as she approached the room. The children looking curiously at the door trying to guess what was coming.

“MOM!” Sofia quickly jumped out of her seat as Rarity walked into the classroom.

“It’s it’s a PONY!” Tommy yelled out and the rest of the class started screaming out in excitement.

Even Mr. Lafleur flinched back speechless as the magical pony walked into the room and started talking.

“Hello everyone I’m Sofia’s mother, it is so nice to meet all of you,” She said with a smile.

Sofia ran across the room and hugged Rarity who put her left front leg over her holding her in a hug. She rubbed her muzzle affectionately against Sofia’s red cheeks rubbing the tears away.

“Not so hard Sofia, your mother still needs to breathe,” Rarity said and then Sofia loosened her grip.

“Sofia, your mother is a Pony!” Tommy said frantically pointing.

“Oh mom, mom, I made you something today!” Sofia said, bouncing on the spot and quickly ran back to her desk and opened the top pulling out a wrinkled paper.

Rarity watched with a gentle smile as she returned showing her the drawing she made.

“That is so lovely dear, I see Dad, and Sofia, and who is that standing next to you. I can’t seem to remember,” Rarity said teasing her with a silly grin.

“That is you, mommy!” She said giggling back.

Alice in the back of the classed raised her right hand up waving it back and forth. Mr. Lafleur regained his composure and noticed Alice’s hand was up in the air.

“Mr. Lafleur, can I ask Sofia’s mom a question?” She asked, having a hard time keeping still.

He looked at Rarity who nodded with a smile. The Miss Jenkins quietly waved to the class as she left the room closing the door.

“Are you a unicorn?” Alice asked, looking up and then down at her hands nervously.

“Why yes I am, Thank you for asking,” Rarity answer with a smile.

“Are there different kinds of ponies?” Tommy said with his hand raised.

“That's a very good question,” She said and looked at the teacher. “Mr. Lafleur, may I use your chalkboard?” Rarity asked him.

“Yes you can,” He said, moving to the corner of the room.

Sofia sat back down at her desk watching. Rarity horn started glowing and the white piece of chalk floated in the air towards to the chalkboard. The kids oohed and awed as if they were watching a magic show for the first time.

“In Equestria, the world that I came from, there are four types of ponies,” She said as the chalk tapped against the blackboard and started drawing a pony. “First and most common is an earth pony, they are stronger, than any other pony on land,” The chalk then drew a pony with wings. “This is an air pony or also known as a Pegasus, they can fly in the air and move the clouds,” The children awed some more watching the chalk draw a pony with a horn. “Now this is a magic pony, known as a unicorn, with their horns they can use magic,” An eraser floated in the air and quickly rubbed the drawing away and then a larger pony was drawn with both wings and a horn. “Last and not least is a royal pony called an Alicorn they can have the abilities of all types of ponies, and Just like in your Spiderman movies. With great power comes great, reasonably. So most Alicorn’s become princesses or leaders over others, they are the rarest ponies in Equestria,” She finished her quick lesson and returned the chalk and eraser.

“Is Sofia a pony?” Charlie asked with his hand up waving and looking in Sofia’s direction.
