Chapters ESF: The Return of Comet Nebula
Chapter 1: Castiel's Arrival
Galaxy's disappearance happened about a week ago. Let me tell you, I was panicking like crazy. My hsband was lost somewhere with his psycho brother Comet off doing who knows what. Once I thought they were at the local Canterlot Club, which had some of the hottest mares in Canterlot. No, I know my Galaxy. He'd never do that, although with the way he is right now, anything was possible. I knew that deep down he still cared if I was hurt or not. Meanwhile, Comet and Galaxy were in fact at a bar, but only Comet was paying attention to the mares. He nudged his brother's shoulder. "Come on, Galaxy. Look at all the hot mares here!" Comet laughed as he gulped down his drink. "Some of these mares are just begging for attention." He added. Galaxy turned around to see a mare staring at him, licking her lips in anticipation. Galaxy turned back around to the table, facing his brother.
"I'm sorry, Comet, but I'm faithful to my wife and my daughter." He said. Comet chuckled.
"Same ol' Galaxy, faithful until the end. How's the Mark?" He asked. Galaxy shrugged.
"All I know is if I don't get a kill in every once in a while, I turn into a demon." He told his brother. Comet pondered.
"Well, looks like you'll have to kill soon, judging by the way you said that." He replied. Galaxy nodded. At Mocha's Cafe, I was going crazy, pacing up and down the walkway, with Mocha at the counter looking worried.
"Crystal?" She asked me. "You alright?" She wondered. I shook my head.
"If I could just call Galaxy, I'd be fine knowing he's OK." I admitted. Quillton sighed. Suddenly, we heard a high pitched whining sound, and we all covered our ears and averting our eyes as a bright light appeared. After it vanished, a pegasus was standing in front of us. He was white like Quillton with a black mane and tail, a tan trenchcoat with a white shirt, black pants and blue tie, blue eyes, and he looked around his thirties. Mocha, me, and Quillton stared at him.
"Hello." He said in a gruff voice. I gasped, as did Quillton and Mocha. He looked around. "Is this Vanilla Mocha's Cafe?" He asked. Mocha nodded. "Ah, good. Thought I made a wrong turn, but clearly I didn't." He said.
"And you are?" I asked him. He turned to me.
"My name is Castiel. I'm an Angel." He explained. I couldn't believe it. "I came because I heard about your husband, Ms. Harmony." Castiel told us. Soon we were sitting down, talking. "I recently got a message in Heaven saying that Galaxy Nebula has turned demon. Most of my kin wanted him destroyed. I told them I would handle it, I just never told them now." He added, smirking. "If any other angel had come, they would've murdered your husband on site. However, I believe that....we can save him." Cass told us. I leaned in. Castiel could clearly tell I was interested in saving my husband.
"Do you know how without hurting him?" I asked, worried. Castiel shook his head.
"No. I'm sorry to say that I don't." He replied. I sighed. "But..." He started, causing my ears to perk up. "There might be another way. It's dangerous, and possibly could get us all killed, but something tells me all of you have handled dangerous before." He guessed. Quillton nodded.
"Yes, dearie. We went to Dragon's Cove to retrieve the Thaumaturgy Gemstone, stopped an army of Changlings and saved our friend Joy, saved Galaxy from his inner demons, stopped his brother from taking Equestria, and just recently stopped Crowley." He said. Castiel's jaw dropped.
"I'm sorry, did you say Crowley? " He asked. Mocha nodded. "I'm guessing you used the First Blade and your friend is a demon because of the Mark of Cain." He said. We all nodded. That's when Valerium walked in, jaw dropping after seeing Castiel.
"Mocha? Guys? Who's this?" He asked. Mocha rubbed her neck nervously. Castiel stood up.
"I'm Castiel. I'll explain everything to you as quickly as I can. I'm afraid we don't have much time. Galaxy's brother may be planning something, and we need to stop him." He said to Mocha's husband. Val nodded and sat down, listening to Castiel's story. After an hour, Valerium whistled.
"So, you're an angel from Heaven and you've got a way to save Galaxy? Awesome. Just one question." He asked. "Why should we?" We all looked at him like he was crazy. "Hey, he's with that psychotic brother of his. That was his choice, not mine." He said. I snapped, and slapped Valerium, hard . Mocha gasped. Val looked at me like I was insane. "What the fuck was that for, Crystal?!" Val demanded. I was not happy right now.
"You listen to me, Valerium. We are going to find and save my husband, whether you want to or not. Got it?!" I yelled. He yelped and nodded. Mocha knew how protective of Galaxy I could be. Galaxy meant everything to me. I wasn't about to let that asshole brother of his convince Galaxy to join him. "Alright, guys. Since Galaxy's not here, I vote Quillton temporary leader." I said. Quill looked at me.
"Crys, while I admit your devotion to your husband is touching , I can't lead us!" He protested. Sunset looked at him, including Soul and Mocha.
"You lead us to the First Blade." Soul admitted. Quillton raised his hoof to protest, but realized what Soul said.
"Ohhh, I hate it when you are right, Soul Melody." He growled silently. Soul giggled. Sunset put a hoof around her husband, looking at me and Castiel.
"So what's the plan?" She asked us. Me and Cass looked at each other, and smirked like we both knew what to do next. I just hoped Galaxy was alright, hopefully not doing anything that could give him his black eyes. All I knew was, if Galaxy didn't kill, black eyes. It wasn't only that, buy the Mark was affecting him as well. We needed a way to cure Galaxy and get the fucking Mark of Cain off his foreleg. I just hoped we could find out how.
ESF: The Return of Comet Nebula
After everything had settled down, Mocha told me how angry I had just gotten. I gasped. "Oh my God. I didn't know I could get that angry." I admitted. Mocha wrapped her hoof around my shoulder. "I just....snapped when Val said that we might not be able to save Galaxy." I turned to the white unicorn. "Mocha, you'd do anything to save your husband, right?" I asked her. She sighed.
"Crystal, don't tell anypony this, but Val and I? We're not exactly having a good marriage right now." She told me. I gasped. Mocha nodded. "Yeah, Val and I have been fighting lately, and I think it's best for the both of us if we got a divorce. Oh, if he even thinks I'm letting have custody of Frosty, he is surely mistaken!" Mocha added. I patted her back.
"Easy there, Mocha. We've all been through a lot. I know you'll do what you think is best." I comforted her. Mocha nodded. Then she gasped.
"Hey, speaking of marriages, how's yours and Galaxy's?" She asked. I squeaked in surprise, causing Mocha to giggle.
"Mine and Galaxy's marriage?" I asked. She nodded. "Um, well, it's good. Melody just loves spending time with her father." I told her. Mocha looked at me like she wanted to know more, go deeper into the conversation. I stared at her, clearly not amused. "I am not telling you about our sex life." I told her bluntly. Mocha giggled.
"Figured you'd say that." She laughed. I laughed a bit too. I needed it after everything that's happened. "I wonder if Quillton's come up with a way to make Galaxy come to us." She wondered. Normally, with Galaxy by his side, Quillton and Galaxy could solve a problem in a matter of seconds. Without his partner to help him, Quillton was stumped, and he never got stumped! I walked over to the white earth pony.
"Quill?" I asked. He looked up. "How are you holding up?" I asked him. He sighed.
"Aside from the fact that my best friend and scientific partner is currently running around all of Equestria with that psychotic brother of his? I'm not doing too well, dearie." He admitted. I patted his shoulder.
"You'll find a way." I said. "I mean, normally, when you and Galaxy are together, you'd solve a problem in a matter of seconds! Besides, the only pony who would know how to make Galaxy and Comet come to us is.....Galaxy....." I realized, a light bulb going off in my head. Quillton gasped, grabbing my by my forelegs. I yelped in surprise as he spun me around.
"Crystal Harmony, you just gave me an idea!!!" He laughed. I chuckled nervously.
"What did I do, exactly?" I asked. Soon, Mocha, Soul, Sunset, myself, Quillton, Castiel, and Valerium were all huddled up.
"OK, guys. Crystal here just gave me an idea. The only pony that would know how to bring Galaxy to us would be Galaxy, right?" He asked. The rest of us nodded. "OK, so here's what I'm thinking. We need a way to bring Galaxy to us in a way only Galaxy would know. Crystal, any ideas?" He asked me. I nodded.
"Yeah. I have one, but I don't like it." I groaned. A few minutes later, I was being tied to a chair using iron chains. "Oh, I hate playing the damsel in distress!" I protested. Sunset giggled.
"Hey, it was your idea, not ours." She told me. I silently growled. I hated when Sunset was right. Suddenly, everypony gasped as a blue bubble surrounded me.
"Hey! What the hell is going on?!" I demanded. Mocha tried breaking the bubble, but it didn't break. "Guys, this is not funny!!!" I shouted before the bubble vanished, taking me with it.
"Crys!" Mocha exclaimed. I didn't know where I was. When I opened my eyes, there was a pony in front of me. I could tell I was on the ground on my stomach. I looked up, and saw Comet standing in front of me. I yelped and nearly crashed into a wall. Comet chuckled.
"Easy there, Harmony." He told me. I growled. "What's with the hostility? What, no 'Hello' to your brother-in-law?" He asked me. I sneered.
"Where is my husband, you bastard?" I demanded. Comet straightened.
"Well, straight to the point then. Galaxy? He's here, he's just getting ready for our journey. One he insisted bringing you along." Comet said with a look of distaste. When Galaxy walked into the room, my heart did a full leap, until I saw his eyes. They were indeed black, signaling that Galaxy was not himself. Comet chuckled. "All set, Galaxy?" Comet asked.
"Yup." My husband replied. "Just need a few more things and we're all set to go." He said. I was confused.
"What's going on?" I demanded. Comet looked directly at me, anger burning in his eyes.
"Simple, Crystal. Me and Galaxy are going on a mission to re-awaken Crowley's army of demons from Tartarus, and you're going to help us. Don't, well, you can guess the answer." Comet told me. I gulped. I didn't want Galaxy to get hurt, but I didn't want to help him either.
"I'd rather die than help a selfish, abusive asshole like you." I told him. Comet chuckled.
"Well, in that case...." He started. I gasped as a familiar vine shot out of the ground, wrapping around all four of my legs, lifting me into the air. One wrapped around my neck, but not too tightly where I could still breathe. "Plunder Vines." Comet chuckled. "I'm sure you've seen them before. You know, I hear the vines have an urge to please you, if you can guess where I'm going with this." He laughed. My tail unconsciously tucked between my hind legs, covering my most sensitive spot. "Help us, and they won't." Comet demanded. I couldn't, but I didn't want to be fucked by vines, either. I sighed.
"OK, you win. I'll help you." I told him. The vines unwrapped themselves from my legs, causing me to fall flat on my stomach. Comet chuckled.
"How very wise of you, Cryssy." He smirked. I looked at Galaxy, and sighed. I might have just doomed Equestria for good with my decision. I hoped I didn't, and that the others were finding a way to rescue both me and Galaxy from this predicament.

Chapter 3: Hell To Their Doorstep
As we trundled through the Everfree Forest, I kept glancing at Galaxy from time to time, thinking how I could reach him. If he could fight the demon inside him, maybe he could help me fight Comet. "Alright. Comet. Spill. What did Equestria do to you?" I asked. Comet stopped and turned. He looked seriously at me.
"What did Equestria do?" He repeated. "You mean, what did my family do? They cast me out, forcing me to live with my father. Galaxy stayed with our mother to help raise our baby sister, Crimson." He said with anger. "I'm glad she's gone!" Comet laughed. I gasped.
"That's your sister! How could you say such awful things about her! Galaxy was heartbroken when she died!" I protested. Comet's eyes glowed, and columns of fire roared out of the ground beside him. Galaxy and I watched. I gasped in surprise as Comet started a musical number.
The world is a place where the heroes wear a smile on their face
While they take what you can never replace
Stolen moments gone forever
Well, tables can turn as my enemies will soon enough learn
I will strike a match and then watch them burn
On the pyre of obsession
They'll run ’till they drop, chasing on advantage
They’ll pay any price if they think it’s free!
I will carry hell to their doorstep; I will make them pay!
They will reap the hate they’ve sown on my judgment day!
Sleepless nights and days of damnation, soon and evermore.
I will bring the Chateau D’If, knocking upon their door!
And love is a lie swearing that no matter what it won’t die
Disappearing like a star in the sky
In the hot light of morning
But what do I care?
There are women to be had everywhere
First there’s retribution I must prepare
Mighty vengeance is mine
I have a nice show that will tempt them onward
And just when they’re sure that the prize is theirs!
I’ll deliver hell to their doorstep dressed in rich facade!
Then, I’ll burn them to the ground like an angry god!
Once they’re in my shining cathedral heed the tolling bell
It’s the final sound they hear as they descend to Hell!
Fall down on your knees
Fall down and let me hear you pray
Fall down on your knees
’till I can hear you bargaining,
scheming, begging and screaming to pay!
I will carry hell to their doorstep; they will rue the day!
They will reap the hate they’ve sown no matter how hard they pray!
It’s a place without any mercy! - fashioned in cold blood
Stones of fear and stones of doubt
No forgiveness, no way out
Only justice, then, Ameeen!!!!
Comet cackled as the song concluded, the columns of fire dispersing. Galaxy clapped. "Excellent musical number bro." He chuckled. "That'll show Equestria not to mess with you." My husband said. I couldn't believe it. Galaxy was willingly working with Comet! I was in shock.
"You're insane , Comet!" I shouted. Comet chuckled.
"What's the matter, Cryssy?" He taunted. I backed up a little. "Afraid you'll lose Galaxy to me? Is it really that hard to accept that my brother chose me over you?" He asked me. I nodded.
"I know my Galaxy would rather die than spend his life with his psychopath of a brother!" I spluttered. Comet's eyes glowed red. I knew I'd done it now.
"I may be a psychopath, but I'm an insane psychopath!" He laughed. Meanwhile, Castiel was telling the others a way they could save Galaxy. Quillton was holding a vial of blood.
"So, lemme get this straight, Cass." He said, holding the vial. "One dose of this every hour for eight hours will cure Galaxy?" He asked, a little suspicious. The angel nodded.
"Yes, I helped a friend of mine once with this similar problem. His brother was also turned into a demon by the Mark." He explained. Mocha gasped.
"Castiel, you mean that you are the Castiel from the show 'Supernatural'?! The story about two brothers hunting things and saving lives?!" She asked, almost fangirling. Castiel nodded nervously. Mocha s'queed. "OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!" She squealed in delight, tackling him in a hug. Quillton and Soul looked at her funny. "Anyways, how do we do this?" She asked. Castiel grabbed a vial.
"As I said before, we many need to restrain Galaxy long enough to inject the purified blood in him." He said before Quillton's phone rang. His eyes narrowed at the number and he answered.
"You're supposed to be dead. " He told the caller. The caller's voice laughed.
"Quillton Brooks, same as ever. " The voice of Comet Nebula replied. Quillton growled.
"You listen, Comet. Whatever fucking demon you've got possessing my best friend..." He started. Comet's voice chuckled over the phone.
"Quillty, lighten up !" Comet laughed. "The only soul that's been demonized is Galaxy's and Galaxy's only. " Comet explained. Littl did he phone, but Castiel was waiting for Comet to give their location. I was listening to the whole conversation. "Besides, you're in Ponyville, and me and my brother here are having a grand ol' time in Canterlot at the Canterlot Hotel. " He said. "Room 209 is amazing! " He said. Quillton hung up before Comet could respond. Castiel nodded and vanished. Comet checked his phone. "Hmm, odd." He said, exclaiming in surprise when Castiel stood right in front of him. "How the! Who the!" He yelped. Comet soon fell unconscious as Castiel grabbed me and Galaxy and took us back to Mocha's cafe.
"Got him!" I told the others. They nodded and took Galaxy down to the cellar. Comet's eyes opened an hour later and he looked around.
"Galaxy?" He asked. "Galaxy?!" Comet gulped, his expression turning to anger. "Oh, they've done it now!!" He yelled as his eyes glowed a bright red, causing the windows shattering in the hotel room he was staying in. Comet was mad, and there was nothing that could stand in his way for world domination. Galaxy woke up and struggled against the chains.
"What the hell is going on here?!" My husband demanded. Melody stood behind me, scared. I pulled Mocha aside for a minute.
"Mocha, before when I went to go get Galaxy, Comet used the Plunder Vines to tie me up." I told her. She nodded, listening. "Do you even know what he was going to do if I didn't co-operate?!" I asked, raising my voice. Mocha shook her head. "He was going to send vines up my.....mare parts!" I exclaimed. Mocha's jaw dropped in shock.
"He was going to do what?! " Mocha exclaimed. I nodded. "Lemme guess, Galaxy just stood there and watched?" She asked. I nodded again. "I got it." She said, walking over to Galaxy. Quillton and Sunset moved aside with everypony else.
"Heya, Mochy." Galaxy smirked. Mocha snapped and slapped Galaxy, causing him to cry out in pain. "Ow! That smarts, you know!" He told her. Mocha rolled her eyes and brought out the needle with the first blood dose, plunging it in Galaxy's left foreleg. My husband let out a cry of pain again. "You really think you can cure me with that?" He asked us skeptically. To be honest, we didn't know if it would cure him or not. I just wanted my Galaxy back.
ESF: The Return of Comet Nebula
Chapter 4: Galaxy is Dead?!
Quillton injected the second dose an hour later, causing Galaxy to flinch. My husband chuckled. "Did you ever think Quill....that I didnt want to be cured?" My husband asked. Quillton stared at him. "Did you ever think maybe I like the way I am now?!" Galaxy demanded. Quillton didn't answer. It wasn't like him to ignore his best friend, but then again, his best friend currently was a demon at the moment. I cringed. I tried looking deep in Galaxy's eyes, but all I saw was blackness, an empty void where my husband used to be. Maybe we couldn't save him. Maybe my husband was cursed to be a demon forever. No. I told myself. It's not like you to give up. I said to myself. Mocha stood by me to keep me company.
"Do you think we can save him?" Mocha asked me. I shrugged, not knowing. All of us were outside conversing when we heard a smashing noise. My ears flicked up, causing me and Mocha to run inside the room we had Galaxy in. The chair was on the floor, with the chains broken. "Oh my God." Mocha gasped. "He escaped. The more blood we gave him, the less demonized he was." She told me. I gasped. Quillton ran in, his eyes narrow with fear.
"Son a of a bitch!" He cursed, stomping his hoof on the ground. Castiel looked at the chair grimly.
"He's still here, I can sense his presence." He told us. "Galaxy is hiding, waiting for Comet to arrive." He said. I looked around. I couldn't believe what I was doing. Before I could stop myself, I called Galaxy's name.
"Galaxy?" I called. "Galaxy, sweetie, please come out." I said softly. I told the others to stay in the room as I went searching for my husband in our cottage. "Honey, please. I'm worried about you. I know you're not a demon. The Mark made you that way." I explained. I heard a clattering in our bedroom and ran there. I saw Galaxy, his back pressed against the wall with nowhere to run. He looked scared, even with his eyes black, he looked very scared. "Galaxy." I called softly. He relaxed, and walked forward. For a second, his eyes turned brown.
"Crys?" My husband asked me. I nodded. He grabbed his right foreleg, right where the Mark was. I could tell it burned whenever he touched it. My husband looked at me like he was afraid. "Crystal, help me." Galaxy pleaded. "I don't know how much longer I can fight the Mark." He explained. I wrapped my front legs around him and held him comfortingly. Galaxy rested his head under my chin. "I'm scared, Crys." He told me.
"It's alright, sweetie, I'm here." I told my husband. Normally Galaxy did the comforting. Now, it was my turn to help my husband. I gently placed my hoof on the Mark. Galaxy winced. The others ran in, and saw me holding my husband. Mocha saw his eyes and gasped. I told them silently 'I got this'. They nodded and backed away. Galaxy looked up at me, and I looked back at him, our eyes gazing at each other. Galaxy shook his head as his eyes switched from brown to black. He escaped my grip and landed on the floor, shaking his head more. The others gasped. "Galaxy?" I asked. Galaxy stepped back as I walked forward.
"Crystal, don't!" Mocha warned me. I didn't listen. Galaxy calmed down as I put a hoof around his neck. I put my other hoof around his neck, and, gently but slowly, pressed my lips against Galaxy's. Galaxy's muscles relaxed as he leaned into the kiss, letting me comfort him. We broke suddenly as his foreleg burned, then, the Mark vanished. Galaxy's eyes reverted to brown, and he gasped. All of us were in shock, including me.
"Galaxy?" I asked. Galaxy looked around, took a deep breath, and smiled.
"Hey guys, what do you say we go kick my brother's psychotic ass?" He smirked. We all whooped in delight and I hugged my husband tight.
"I knew you were in there somewhere." I smiled. Galaxy smiled and kissed my forehead gently.
"No way am I losing the most beautiful pegasus in Equestria." He told me. I blushed. Melody hugged us both. Her father was back, and my husband was back. Meanwhile, at his castle, Comet growled.
"Damn it! My brother is good again and now they're going to be coming for me!" He growled. "This is not good. I wish that Galaxy never met his friends at all!" Comet yelled. Suddenly, a secret passage opened up. He was confused. "Hmm?" Comet asked himself, walking through the passage until he found a secret room filled with books and a portal. Comet smirked. "A portal...." He said. "I can use this to travel back in time and stop my brother from ever existing! Then Comet Nebula will be on top, baby!" Comet cackled, lightning striking through the sky. Meanwhile, Galaxy and I were sitting at Mocha's cafe.
"Crys, I'm sorry I just stood there when Comet tied you up in the vines." My husband apologized. "I just, couldn't move, even though I was trying." He told me. I put a hoof on his, smiling.
"I'm just glad to have my Galaxy back." I said. Galaxy smiled as well. Then his smile vanished.
"We still need to stop my brother. Who knows what Comet is up to?" He said. "He made us think he was building a demon army, but he's not. If I know my brother, he's got something more sinister planned than that." Galaxy told us. Quillton nodded.
"Galaxy's right. Comet may be alone, but he's strong. Remember when we fought him last time? How easily he knocked out Crystal?" He asked. I rubbed my head in the spot I got hit. It still hurt a little bit. Sunset nodded.
"Or the time he was Nightmare and almost killed Galaxy?" She asked. Galaxy's face turned white as bone from that statement. Sunset blushed nervously. "Sorry, Galaxy." She chuckled. Galaxy relaxed. Before we could all relax, lightning cracked in the sky. Me and my husband gasped as Comet appeared in the doorway, everypony in a fighting stance.
"Hello, ponies." Comet chuckled. I growled. "Easy, Cryssy. I only came bearing a message." Comet said. Quillton scoffed. Comet then turned to Galaxy. "Galaxy, you don't know it yet, but you're already gone, brother ." I shivered. The way Comet said brother made me think that Comet succeeded in something evil. Thunder clashed, and Comet was gone. Mocha was worried.
"What did he mean by 'You're already gone'?" Mocha asked. I shrugged, then, shrieked in horror. Galaxy...was vanishing. He gasped.
"Guys? What's going on? Crys? Crys!!!" Galaxy cried before he vanished before my eyes. I let out a cry of anguish.
"Galaxy?" I called, searching the whole cafe. "Galaxy?! Galaxy?!!!!" I exclaimed. I couldn't believe it. My husband.....was gone.
ESF: The Return of Comet Nebula
Chapter 5: Time Jumping
"Galaxy!!" I cried. My husband had vanished before my eyes, and all I knew was that Comet was responsible. Quillton walked over to Sunset outside in front of the counter. Galaxy had disappeared with us in the back room where we were helping him recover. Valerium and Soul were sitting in a booth like nothing had happened. In fact, everypony looked like nothing had happened. Joy, Breeze, and Paradise were serving customers as usual, and Sunset was sitting at the front counter.
"Sweetie, do you know what happened to Galaxy?" Quillton asked his wife. Sunset looked at him like he was crazy.
"Who, honey?" She asked. Quillton chuckled nervously. I was scared. I hoped she knew what her husband meant.
"Dearie, don't be ridiculous. Galaxy Nebula! You know, blue pegasus? Wears a tan stetson?" Quill asked. Sunset looked confused.
"I'm sorry, Quillton, but I've never known a Galaxy Nebula." Sunset said. Quillton gasped. Me and Mocha gasped too. Then, Quillton dragged me and Mocha aside.
"Quillton, what the fuck is going on? Why does everything look like it did three weeks ago, and where the hell is my husband?!" I demanded. The white earth pony pondered.
"Well Crystal, it could be possible that Comet has found a way to travel back in time. That must've been his plan all along. Go back in time to a specific point in Galaxy's timeline and undo whatever happened the day he traveled to." He said. He looked at his wife. "But for Sunny to forget Galaxy...." He sighed. "I'll bet everypony else forgot him as well." He added. Mocha was confused.
"Then how come we remember Galaxy? Are we immune to the effects or something?" She asked. Quillton shook his head.
"No, Mochy. I'm afraid not. We only remember Galaxy because we're going to be the last ponies to forget him, at least I think. I'm just guessing here, this has never happened before. We're at the center of the hurricane. Eye of the storm, if you will. Near as I can figure, we're going to forget Galaxy eventually, so until we do eventually forget him, let's find a way to get Galaxy back." Quillton theorized. I nodded, but sometimes I never understood all this science stuff. "In any case, since we technically never knew Galaxy, everything we did will soon become undone." He told us. Mocha gasped.
"You mean....I'll still be trapped in the Terror's mirror." Mocha gasped. Quillton nodded.
"Followed by Chrysalis's Changeling attack, followed by Nightmare Moon and Crowley, etc. Every villain we fought will soon reappear, and we'll be helpless to stop them this time. Unless we find Comet and stop him from doing.....whatever it was he's undone! Ugh! Time Travel! It's so confusing!" Quillton sighed.
"But you and Galaxy talk about Time Travel everyday." I said, confused. Quillton looked at me.
"Yes, dearie. That we do. However, this form of Time Travel is overly complicated. You see, the day Galaxy met all of us is a fixed point in time, meaning, my dear Crystal Harmony, it has to happen. Otherwise the strands will unravel, causing chaos and panic everywhere." He told me. Then, it hit him like a tsunami. "Fixed point......That's it!" Quillton whooped in delight. Me and Mocha were confused. "The reason we remember Galaxy. It's because we were already there!" He told us.
"So, that means it's already happened? That we save Galaxy and stopped Comet?" I asked. Quillton nodded.
"In our future, yes. However, you and Galaxy won't have a future if we don't go right now!" He said. Soon, the three of us were racing to Twilight's castle to see if she had any spells for Time Travelling. Fortunately she did, but it was tricky. However, in order to do it, we needed to collect a few ingredients. A thorn from the Plunder Vines, the Thaumaturgy Gemstone, which we still had, and the Terror's broken mirror, which we also still had. "OK, we've got the stone and the mirror. Somepony has to get the thorn." Quillton said. I cleared my throat and whistled innocently.
"I'm guessing it's not a good idea to send Crys." Mocha said. Quillton nodded. Then he sighed.
"I'll go. I know how to safely remove a Plunder Vine thorn without it touching my bare skin." Quillton said. Mocha seemed confused. The white earth pony groaned. "If you touch a Plunder Vine thorn with your bare hooves or any exposed skin, the effects are kind of crazy." He explained. "Let's see, there's hallucination, nausea, paranoia, and one last effect. Ah, yes! Madness." He explained. I gulped. Me and Mocha nodded, waiting for Quillton an hour later.
"Think he's OK?" Mocha asked me. I shrugged. Mocha sighed. "Quillton's taking the situation just as hard as you, Crys. Galaxy was his buddy, his partner in all scientific endeavors." She told me.
"Well, he is my husband. Mocha, I'm fucking worried. Like Quill said, soon the strands of time will unravel and we'll all forget my husband if we don't succeed. According to Quillton, the time jump spell he found will put us a few hours before Comet, long enough to stop him from undoing what he did. Then, me, Galaxy, and Melody will still have a future together." I explained. Mocha nodded.
"OK, and if it doesn't work? I'm just asking." The coffee mare asked me. I shook my head, not wanting to think about it. Suddenly the door jingled, and there stood Quillton, bruised and battered, with a small rip in his shoulder.
"Don't ask." He told us, noticing where we were staring. "Fighting Plunder Vines is a lot harder than you think. But!" Quillton spun the thorn. "Got the thorn. Now then, let's get to it, shall we girls?" He asked. We nodded and put the ingredients together. "OK, here we go." Quillton said. Then, Castiel appeared out of nowhere.
"I'm going with you." He told us. I looked at him.
"Castiel, this isn't....." I started before the angel cut me off.
"Yes, it is. Comet has unraveled time, and I must aid you to fix it. I can help you defend against him should you be attacked. Plus, I've been in Galaxy's memory, I can guide us to the day he met you all." He said. Couldn't say no to that.
"Alright, let's go then." Quillton said as the portal to the past opened up in front of us. Castiel walked in front, guiding us through to the day Galaxy met all of us. Hopefully, we arrived there before Comet did. I hoped my Galaxy was going to come back to me once we were finished fixing the time stream, as we plunged into unknown territory.

Chapter 6: Fixing The Past
As we emerged through the other end of the portal, the four of us came out in mid air. Quillton yelped as he started to fall, me and Castiel flapping our wings. Mocha use a teleport spell to safely get her to the ground. She used her magic to slow Quill's descent. Quillton looked up at us as me and Cass floated down. "Pegasai." He groaned. "I wish I was a pegasus like Galaxy." He complained. I giggled before I looked around.
"Where are we?" I asked. Quillton stood up, dusting himself off.
"When are we, Crystal dearie." He corrected. I rolled my eyes and shook my head. "Anyways, I believe this is the day all of us met Galaxy. According to our time of arrival, Comet's not here yet." He explained to us. I gasped.
"That means I can save Galaxy!" I exclaimed, starting to take off. Quillton grabbed my left hind-leg, causing me to yelp in surprise.
"Whoa! Whoa! Easy there, Crystal!" He told me as he pulled me down. "Listen to me, we're in Galaxy's past. That means Galaxy doesn't know any of us yet. If his past self so much as even sees us, we expose him to our future and risk altering our timeline." Quillont explained, Castiel agreed.
"Quillton is correct. In order for our timeline to revert back to how it was, we cannot affect Galaxy's past. All we have to do is stop Comet from altering today." The angel explained. Mocha and I were still confused.
"OK, let me simplify this for you, girls." Quillton groaned. "If we don't stop Comet, we're all doomed. OK?" He asked. Me and Mocha nodded. "Simple minds." Quillton muttered to himself as he paced in a line.
"So, how do we know when Comet arrives?" Mocha asked Quillton. He looked at Castiel.
"I should be able to sense Comet when he arrives. Due to his essence being corrupted, I should be able to pick up on him easier than one of you." Castiel explained, glancing around.
"Plus, change anything, change everything. " Quillton warned. Me and Mocha looked at him with confused looks. "Look, our world as we know is the result of past events that have already transpired. If, for whatever reason those events fail to happen, well, then our future could drastically change, and not in the good way. You all remember Back to the Future Parts I and II?" Quillton asked. Mocha nodded.
"Right! Marty altered the past and stopped his parents from meeting, and as a result, he began to not exist!" Mocha exclaimed. "Then, Biff or whatever that guy's name was changed Hill Valley with that sports almanac thingy and Marty's hometown was a living nightmare." Mocha added. Quillton nodded.
"Exactly. So, how did he fix that? He made sure his parents met at the dance that one night, then went back in time and stopped Biff from getting that almanac by burning it. Just, treat the past like Back top the Future, and we all should be fine." Quillton told us. Meanwhile, about an hour later, Galaxy's brother arrived, landing flat on his face. Comet got up and shook his head.
"Well, that could've been a better landing." He sighed as he fixed his stetson. "Now, if my calculations are right, this should be the day my brother meets those friends of his." Comet smirked. Then, he looked around town and groaned. "This could take awhile." He said as he set off, not knowing we were here. I poked my head out of a bush, yelping as Mocha pulled me back in by my tail.
"Mocha! Careful! It took two hours to get my tail looking good!" I warned. Mocha rolled her eyes. Castiel looked around grimly.
"We must tread carefully. Comet cannot yet discover that we are here." The angel said. We nodded and headed out. I flew by Mocha.
"Wonder where our Comet is." I wondered. Quillton raced up.
"Probably in his castle laughing it up that his plan succeeded. Ooh, when I get my hooves on Comet, he's going to wish he never messed with us. No pony, especially Galaxy's brother fucks with us like that and gets away with it." Quillton said. Suddenly, we all stopped cold in our tracks. A young pegasus with a black mane and tail and brown eyes was coming out of a cottage, heading to what seemed like a school.
"Ponyville Elementary!" I gasped, recognizing the young pegasus. "That's Galaxy! Ohh, he's about to never meet us! We have to stop Comet, now!" I shouted. The others nodded and darted after me, making sure Comet didn't screw up the timeline. Back in our time, Melody was worried. She was with Soul, who thankfully also remembered Galaxy. Soul decided to stay behind and watch my daughter. Just as me, Mocha, Castiel, and Quillton arrived at the school, Comet was chuckling to himself. Young Galaxy was walking around when he and I both noticed a shy, purple pegasus sitting alone on a bench. I gasped.
"Crystal, that's you. " Mocha gasped. She was right. The purple pegasus was in fact me, but younger. She was more shy, and barely spoke. We hid behind a bush and saw Comet advancing. I took a deep breath and flew out of the bush. "Crystal, no!" Mocha called. Too late. I stopped right in front of Comet, defending younger me and Galaxy. Comet shook his head in disbelief.
"Crystal?!" He yelped. I stood my ground, my face burning with anger. Comet growled. "So! You time-traveled to stop me from undoing this time-line, which means I already un-did it once before, huh?" He asked. I didn't reply. All I was focused on was defending me and Galaxy. That's when Mocha, Quillton, and Castiel piled on top of Comet, pinning him down. I turned to my younger self and Galaxy.
"What's going on?" Young Galaxy asked. I sighed and smiled.
"Hey, you see that purple pegasus on the bench there?" I asked. Young Galaxy turned and nodded. "She could really use a friend to be there for her." I whispered. Galaxy turned and smiled.
"It looks like she does." He said, walking over to her. Younger me turned to face him. Castiel had Comet chained while Mocha and Quillton watched the scene unfold.
"Hello." Younger me said in a shy voice. Galaxy smiled.
"Hi. I'm Galaxy." He said. Younger me shifted her mane out of her eyes.
"Crystal." She replied. Soon, the two of them were playing and giggling like they were best friends. The portal back to our time opened and we went through. I looked around, and to my surprise, there was no sign of my husband.

Chapter 7: The Final Confrontation/Epilogue
"Galaxy?" I called. "Galaxy?!" I called again. Comet chuckled. "What's so funny, you bastard?" I demanded. Comet looked up at me.
"You're too late, Cryssy. You didn't fix the past in time." He chuckled. I gulped. Just as Comet was about to laugh, a voice made his face turn white as bone.
"Comet!!!!" The voice sounded pissed. We all turned around, and gasped. Standing in the doorway of the back room was a pony I'd never thought I'd see again. Comet made a sound that sounded like he was scared.
"Galaxy!" I cried as I ran to my husband. He caught me and held me tight. "Oh God, I didn't think I'd see you again!" I admitted. Galaxy hugged me and kissed my forehead gently.
"I'm not going anywhere, Crys." He smiled, then smirked a little. "It was you, wasn't it? You were that mare I saw that told me to make friends with you." He asked. I gasped. My husband nodded. "Yes, I remember." He told me. I blushed. "Crys, thank you. Without your future self, I wouldn't have become great friends with you." Galaxy admitted. I smiled and kissed my husband. Comet made a sound of disgust. "Oh, don't you start!" Galaxy said, advancing towards his brother. Comet gulped.
"Galaxy." Comet chuckled nervously. "I didn't think you'd actually come back." He admitted. Galaxy stared at Comet.
"You tried to kill me." Galaxy said. Comet gulped again. "You selfish, obnoxious little bastard!" Galaxy exclaimed each time he whacked his brother into a wall. Comet got up and coughed, blood trickling from his mouth. Just as Comet was about to go for an attack, Valerium tackled him. Mocha gasped.
"Go! I've got him!" Val said before he felt dizzy. We all gasped, for we could see why. Comet had sunk his fangs in Val's neck, draining his blood and vampire essence. Val felt dizzy and collapsed.
"Val!" Mocha exclaimed, running to her husband. Joy, Paradise, Breeze, and Soul all gasped. "Val?" Mocha asked. Val had just enough strength left to whisper something to Mocha before he passed out, motionless and unmoving. Mocha wiped a tear from her face and growled.
"Alright, bitch, bring it on!" She shouted as she fired a blast at Comet, impacting him into a wall. Comet groaned and flew in for another attack. Before he could pin me to the ground, Galaxy tackled his brother and shattered the window outside. Galaxy faced his brother in the street, thunder clouds looming.
"Here we are again, Galaxy. Face to face one last time. Only last time, you could barely beat me." Comet chuckled. I wanted to help my husband, but we were all too scared to move. Galaxy adjusted his stetson.
"I'm not afraid anymore." Galaxy said. Comet was confused. "You heard me. I am tired of living in your shadow, Comet! Always scared of you! Now that I know what true fear's really like, I'm not afraid of you anymore." Galaxy admitted. Comet looked at his brother with a skeptical eye. He glanced and me and smirked.
"While that may be true, brother of mine, you still have one fatal flaw." Comet chuckled. Galaxy gasped, but too late. Comet darted for me inside the Cafe. I yelped as Comet grabbed me and put a blade to my neck. "Ah ah! One move, Crystal dies." He chuckled. Galaxy was pissed.
"Comet, take your hooves off my wife." He demanded. Comet took the blade and pointed it to Galaxy.
"Do I have to kill you too, brother?" He asked. Castiel threw a blade towards Galaxy and my husband caught it, spinning it like he knew how to fight. Comet chuckled. "Well then." He laughed, throwing me aside. Mocha caught me as Galaxy fought his brother. Galaxy slashed at Comet, causing Comet to bleed, but the wounds were healing quickly. "Vampire, remember?" Comet chuckled.
"You won't win!" Galaxy promised as he slashed upwards, cutting Comet's left eye. Comet let out a cry of pain and dropped his blade. Soul, Sunset, Joy, Paradise, and Breeze gasped. Comet opened his left eye, which had healed, but now, there was a huge gash over it. Comet spat blood. He picked up his blade and clashed it with Galaxy's disarming him. Galaxy fell back on his flank and gulped. Comet cackled.
"Farewell, brother." Comet said as he stabbed downward. We heard a plunging sound, but it wasn't Galaxy. Comet gasped, letting his grip give. Mocha stared at him hard, took the blade out, and pointed it back at Comet. "Oh, yes. Very clever, my dear." Comet chuckled. Mocha growled.
"Get....out.....of my Cafe." She demanded. Comet nodded.
"Oh, don't worry. I was just leaving." He told us. He grabbed a cup filled with a blue liquid. Castiel had put it there, knowing Comet would grab it. "Just tell me one thing, Mocha. Can a heart still break after it's stopped beating? Hmm?" He asked, chugging down the liquid. Just as he walked towards the door, Comet hacked and coughed, his fangs disappearing. He heard a thumping noise in his chest. "Is that....my heart?! I'm.....alive?!!!!" Comet gasped in horror, yelping when Quillton grabbed him. His face told us he was going to enjoy this.
"Not for much longer......" Quill said in a sing-song voice. Sunset cackled, grabbing Comet. Comet struggled as the pair took him down to the basement. Galaxy hugged me and Melody.
"I'm just glad you guys are alright." My husband said.
"Me too, honey." I smiled, kissing him gently. Melody hugged Galaxy tight, not wanting to let go. Weeks passed and Comet was now in the dungeons of Canterlot, under the heaviest guard. Quillton stood next to Galaxy, watching Comet pace around.
"You should be glad, buddy." The white pony said. "You didn't kill him." He added. Galaxy sighed.
"I wanted to, but me and Comet are two sides of the same coin, apparently. One of us dies, the balance upsets." Galaxy explained. "Castiel said thank you for helping him take down my brother. Quillton, you'll never guess what Cass offered me." He added. Quillton looked at Galaxy. "Castiel's going back to Heaven to bring Crimsy back." My husband smiled. "He said it wasn't her time to go yet, so she's getting another chance." He added.
"Well buddy, I'm happy for you. Plus, now that Comet's defeated, I can focus more on my work. Oh, and about Mocha, I checked her pulse earlier. Why she didn't die when Comet stabbed her? Thanks to Mochy being part vamp, she can't die, but, she doesn't have a pulse exactly." Quillton exlained. Galaxy sighed.
"Well, at least that's an advantage for Mochy." My husband smiled. Quillton smiled too. "Come on buddy, I'd say we could use a drink from the Cafe." Galaxy said. His best friend nodded as the two pals headed to Mocha's Cafe, where myself, Melody, Mocha, Soul, Joy, Breeze, Paradise, and Crimson were waiting for them. Crimson and Galaxy hugged one another, both of them happy. I giggled. I was happy my husband had his sister back. Galaxy sat next to me, wrapping a hoof around me. I leaned my head on his shoulder and smiled, looking up at Galaxy.
"I love you, Galaxy, so, so much." I told him. He smiled.
"I love you too, Crys." He said, kissing me gently. Equestria was at peace once again, for now anyways. However, our next adventure, let's just say it gets crazy...........
ESF: The Return of Comet Nebula
Prologue: The Road So Far
About time I got to narrate the concluding chapter of this story! Anyways, a little over a day ago, my husband, Galaxy Nebula, defeated the demon known as Crowley with the First Blade and the Mark of Cain. The Mark had unexpected side effects. My husband is now a demon, and, sadly, we may have to fight him. His brother, Comet, is also apparently back from the dead. How the fuck he managed that one, I don't know. I just hope no harm comes to my Galaxy and we're able to save him. I'm Crystal Harmony, his loving wife and mother to our daughter Melody Note, who is now 10 years old. This, everypony, is the concluding chapter of our story, or so we thought at least. Soon, me, Quillton, Mocha, and the others came to be known as Equestria's Fighters of the Supernatural.
