Author's Note

It's finally here, Poke Eques. Well, it is a different version of the one I was thinking about writing, but hey that's writing for you. So I hope to keep updates for this story whenever I'm having a slump with Solar Son and The Fabled Warrior. Now as many of you seen, this story is rated 'M'. I would like to repeat that the rating is only for the future sex senses. That is it. If anything the main story will be 'E' with a slight chance it might go 'T', but I never plan on doing anything full 'M'. So I do hope you enjoy as I don't think I found any real Pokemon mlp crossovers. Also, Pokemon is owned and copyrighted by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. I own nothing of Pokemon. A nice disclaimer to make sure every reader knows I own nothing of Pokemon!

Quick note, I'm working on the next chapter of The Fabled Warrior. I plan on getting at least a few more chapters done before heading back to Solar Son. Poke Eques is just a happy side quest for those people who need a break from only to heavily mature stories. As always, like, comment, follow, share and tell. Jake sat listening to his college lecture course. He ran his hand through his short red hair as he leaned back in his chair and listened to his professor's lecture on chemistry. Jake took notes every so often when the teacher brought something up that might be useful to remember. He blinked his sea green eyes as a yawn came out of his mouth. He continued to lean back and look at the clock on the wall. It was nearly time for class to end and the weekend to begin. He heard the professor stopping and said goodbye to the class. He packed up his backpack and threw it over his shoulder. He pulled his phone from his jeans and placed the headphones back into his ears. He walked out of the college of science and headed back to his dorm.

Jake was a second-year, twenty-year-old, college student working on getting a career in chemistry. He stood about 6', which was average for height in his family. He lived on campus, so with his last class down, he was walking back to his dorm. Jake kept his eyes on the sidewalk in front of him as a yawn escaped his mouth again. He stopped at the crosswalk and waited for the signal to turn to 'walk.' As Jake waited, he searched through his phone to which song to listen to next. He clicked one and saw the light turn. Jake walked across and made it back to his dorm. He went through the security doors and made his way up to his room. His hand reached in and pulled out a pair of keys. Jake moved his hands till he found the key he needed to open the door to his room. He slipped the key into the lock and turned it. His hand grabbed the handle as the other took the key from the lock. Once inside, Jack closed the door and set down his stuff. He sat on his desk chair as he pulled out his homework.

After he had finished it all with the best of his ability, he needed a break. He looked down at the GameCube he had brought from home with his Xbox One and PS4. He clicked it open and grabbed Pokemon XD. One thing that many people knew about Jake was his love for Pokemon. He had every game that the Pokemon company produced. He collected the cards when he got money from his divorced parents. He sold off cards he didn't need to get some more spare cash. He placed the small game disk in the machine and turned it on. He moved his seat over and clicked on his T.V. Jake smiled when the GameCube loading screen came on. He picked up the game where he left off. Jake played through it and let his imagination wander. Jake always wonder what it would be like to be a real Pokemon trainer, but also to be a hero. He laughed as he continued to play on.

After a while, the T.V. went black. Huh, that's weird. He got up and started to check to make sure nothing got pulled from it, but as looked around, every electronic was out. Nothing in his room was working. Ok this is strange, I wonder if it's affecting anybody else. Jake grabbed his keys and went towards the door out of his room until he heard his name whispered out to him.

"Jake."

Jake froze in place as the hairs on his body stood on end. He turned back as his T.V. came on. But all it was, was static. He walked over and tried turning it off, but nothing he did worked. He looked around to see everything was still off. It sent more shivers riding down his spine. Again he heard his name called out in a whisper.

"Jake."

He backed up away from his T.V. Oh crap now I feel like I just entered the movie The Ring. He kept backing up until he touched his back to the wall of his room. He watched the T.V., and his eyes turned to pinpricks as a hand, made of static, came out of it. This isn't happening, I'm just dreaming. He blinked and pinched himself, but nothing was working. Ok, I'm not dreaming, this is real.

"Jake."

"What do you want?" Asked Jake

"You."

"What?"

Jake didn't get an answer as the arm grabbed him and held him tight. Jake tried to struggle against the grip, but it was too tight for him to do a thing. He screamed out, but nobody came. The arm moved back towards the T.V. pulling Jake with it. He couldn't believe what was happening to him. Once Jack was close to his T.V., the hand quickly pulled him in.

Jake opened his eyes to see he was floating in mid-air. He looked around to see a multitude of colors all around him. To Jake, it was like he was tripping on a whole new level, even though he never did a drug in his life. This is getting stranger and stranger. He kept floating around till a figure came up. Jake could see this figure was an amalgamation of different pieces body parts. He had a bat wing, a bird wing, a lion's paw, an eagle's talon, a goat foot, a dragon's foot and dragon's tail. His body shaped like that of a snake. He walked up to Jake and with a snap of his fingers, Jake was standing back on solid ground. The figure smiled, but it was too creepy to be a friendly smile. So it caused shivers to run down Jake's spine.

"Sorry, Fluttershy always says I should work on my smile," Said the figure in a modest male voice.

"Who are you?" Asked Jake

"I'm Discord, Lord of Chaos back on my homeworld of Eques." He said

"What are you?" Asked Jake

"Not a bad idea to get everything out of the way. I'm what is known as a Draconequues. We were once a race of creatures that could control chaos magic. The reason that I look like Frankenstein's monster." Said Discord

"So where you the one who brought me into my T.V." Said Jake

"Yes, but we are no longer anywhere near your plain of existence. We are in my plain of existence, the Chaos Realm." Said Discord

"Mind explaining why you freaked the hell out of me back in my dorm and when I can go back to my dorm." Said Jake

Discord rubbed his beard that hung from his chin. He closed his eyes as let out a sigh. "Sadly I need to ask for your help. You see my world is under attack by a dark presence that no one on my planet can understand. I guess I should explain what I'm getting at."

"That'd be great." Said Jake

"Two years ago, Eques was at relative peace. All the nations weren't trying t fight for new land to conquer, that all changed when a dark presence appeared in the deserts of Zebrica. This force was unlike any seen in the history of dark presences. Trust me when I say Eques has plenty of those appearances running around on a daily basis. But this one was different because it used a weapon never seen." Said Discord

"What kind of weapon?" Asked Jake

Discord snapped his eagle claw, and a portion of the field became a movie screen. The screen lit up, and Jake's eyes widened. He watched as dark versions of the Pokemon, he knew and loved were attacking different species of creatures. They ranged from ponies, griffons, zebras and other mystical creatures. The Pokemon kept attacking, and no matter what these creatures did, they couldn't do a thing to stop them. Discord snapped his fingers, and the screen disappeared.

"Now you see why I need your help. You see, Princess Celestia tasked me with finding a hero who knew how to deal with these new weapons. I found myself coming to your planet of Earth. I happen to find myself near your dorm when I happen to hear your thoughts about being something called a Pokemon trainer and a hero. I watched you play your game and saw the same creatures you were using on that screen. You knew them so well, so I knew you were the one to save my world." Said Discord

"Wait let's hold on a second here. You're telling all you know about me is my dream to be a Pokemon trainer and a hero. That's about it, and now you hope that I'll save your world from a dark presence using Shadow Pokemon." Said Jake

"Well, I was hoping you would accept without considering that I just picked you first since I didn't want to search your whole planet for a hero." Said Discord

"That figures, but can I ask why this Princess Celestia told you to come to Earth." Said Jake

"She told me only the inhabitants of planet Earth would be able to understand this new threat and how to defeat it." Said Discord

"Now, what if I don't help." Said Jake

"Then my world will fall into darkness as I fear that I have run out of time. It took me longer than I thought to merge a line from the Chaos Realm to Earth. So my planet's only hope and all the creatures that call it home rest on your shoulders." Said Discord

"Man, talk about giving a guy an enormous burden. But it has always been a dream of mine to be a Pokemon trainer and be the hero like all the Pokemon games, I've played. But I still have a family even if it isn't in the best of conditions. But again, thinking that if I don't choose to help, a whole planet will fall into darkness. Huh, what a burdened you sure can drop on one man's shoulders." Said Jake

Discord just shrugged his shoulder as Jake sighed. He looked down at his hands as he closed them into fists. Do I even have a life back on Earth? My mother and father had a bitter divorce that even bringing them together results in screaming and fighting. I'm an only child, so I have no family to call my own. But I still have my college life but is it going anywhere. I've been struggling with whether or not I feel like the path I'm on is the one I want to be on. Jake released his fist as he sighed and turned back to Discord.

"Discord, I accept your offer. I shall be your world's hero." Said Jake

Discord smiled as he snapped his fingers and a new portal opened up. Discord flew in front of it.

"This will take you to my world, but be warned. Once you step into this portal, there is no turning back. You will be forever a resident of Eques." Said Discord

Jake walked up to portal before closing his eyes. He opened them and looked up at Discord.

"Nothing back on Earth can change my mind." Said Jake

"Great to hear my friend. Now, onward towards becoming my world's hero and Pokemon trainer." Said Discord

Jake just took a breath before jumping into the portal. Discord smiled as he looked at the entrance. Well done Celestia, but how you knew this kid would choose to take this route makes me wonder about you more and more. But never the less, I've got him, and now maybe Eques has a chance to survive the darkness of this new evil. I hope Celestia was right about him. Discord walked in as the portal closed up behind him.
