Author's Note

So I'm back, yes I'm back to giving you updates. I hope you all are ready for another exciting chapter of Poke Eques. I will warn you that I did go a little dark later in the chapter, so prepare yourselves for that. Other than that, I shouldn't hold you back from reading the next chapter I know plenty of you have been waiting for a while. Well, as usually: Comment, like, follow, share, and tell. Chapter 27-Anomaly

Anomaly

The sound of engines roaring filled the skies. A large vessel moved across the blue heavens with an all too familiar symbol on the side of the ship. The symbol of a Poke Ball with an infinity sign over it, the emblem of Quantum.

The ship soared across the sky as the followers of Quantum walked the top of it with Pokemon working around the vessel with collars around their necks. All residents of the world of Eques stood in the armor of Quantum and keeping an eye on the Pokemon. If a Pokemon didn't do what Quantum wanted, Quantum would activate the collar around their neck. The collar would shock the Pokemon back into their position.

Soon the doors at the back of the ship opened all the crew turned to see a male Minotaur walk onto the deck. His upper body fur was a blue color, and his lower body was a black color, and his hooves were a darker shade of black. His horns were a grey color. He was wearing the same armor expect, in the middle of his chest plate was the number three, and like the rest, his whole head was covered in a mask with a black plate in the front. The crew on the deck all saluted him as he passed to the front of the ship. He looked around as he scanned the area. Soon a pony with a grey coat and silver mane walked up to the Minotaur. The pony's build showed that it was a mare.

"Report Quantum." Said the Minotaur

"Quantum Three, we are nearing our destination." Said Quantum

"Excellent, Quantum's mission must move forward. The world must become Quantum so that peace can begin. Quantum is the future of all." Said Quantum Three

"Yes, all will become Quantum." Said Quantum

"All hail Quantum! All hail Quantum!"

The deck crew all began to repeat the same phrase over and over.

"All hail Quantum! All hail Quantum!"

Twilight walked through the crowds of Ponyville market. Spike sat on her back. He held a list of items that they needed to pick up for the library. Her saddlebags were already full of stuff they already picked up. Twilight decided to leave her Pokemon back at the library as she didn't see a reason to bring them along for a shopping trip.

"Ok, so we just placed our order for more quills, what's next Spike?" Asked Twilight

Spike looked over the list, "Next we need to pick up your order of new books Princess Celestia sent over."

"Oh, I can hardly wait!" Squealed Twilight

She trotted over to the local post office and stepped up to the front where Derpy sat with a muffin her hooves. Depry swallowed the muffin she had in her mouth before speaking to Twilight, "Hi Twilight, what can I do for you?"

"Hi Derpy, I'm here to pick up a package from Princess Celestia." Said Twilight

"Ok, wait here." Depry got down from her seat and trotted over into the room behind her. Twilight and Spike stood around waiting for Derpy to return. Soon the mailmare returned holding a box under her left wing. She placed it on the counter. "Here you are, Twilight."

Twilight took the package into her magic and placed it into her saddlebags, where she could find space, "Thanks, Derpy."

Twilight walked out of the post office as she heard Spike beginning to scratch a quill across the paper, "What's next Spike?"

"That's it." Said Spike

Twilight stopped and took the paper out of Spike's hand and looked at it. Huh, I guess that's all I needed to do for today. Twilight rolled the paper up and stuffed it into her saddlebags, before turning back to Spike.

"Since we have some free time, how about we stop and get some sweets at Sugar Cube Corner." Said Twilight

"Yeah." Said Spike

Twilight trotted on over to Sugar Cube Corner but stopped when the sound of roaring engines filled the air above Ponyville. Soon a shadow began to cover Ponyville and Twilight looked up and felt her eyes widen as she saw a Quantum ship hovering over Ponyville.

"Isn't that Quantum, Twilight?" Asked Spike

"Yes, but what are they doing here?" Asked Twilight

Ponies stopped and looked at the massive hovering airship as it sat over the town of Ponyville. Twilight heard galloping and turned to see her friends coming her way.

"Darling, did you see who just arrived?" Asked Rarity

"Yeah, it looks like Quantum is down with hiding." Said Twilight

"But why are they here?" Asked Applejack

"I have a good idea." Said Twilight

The group of friends trotted over to the town hall, where the ship was resting over. They arrived to watch as the bottom of the vessel opened up, and soon pegasi started to descend from the opening followed by Griffons.

"Griffons, Quantum now has Griffons." Said Rarity

"Not mentioning Pegasi." Said Rainbow

"They must have been recruitin' while they were hidin'." Said Applejack

Soon the pegasi and Griffons landed on the ground in front of Ponyvill town hall. Ponies began to gather around the town hall as they looked at the pegasi and Griffons and their strange armor. Then out came another figure this time with a Pokemon levitating the figure down. The figure was the male Minotaur with the three on his chest. Twilight used her magic to get her Pokedex to figure out the Pokemon levitating the Minotaur. She pointed it at the Pokemon and Pokedex began to speak.

"Gothitelle the Astral Body Pokemon. Starry skies thousands of light-years away are visible in the space distorted by their intense psychic power."

The Minotaur looked across the vast group of ponies that stood before him.

"Ponies of Ponyville, we are Quantum, and we have come to bring you into the new age of peace." Said Quantum Three

Ponies began to murmur among the crowd about what Quantum Three had just said to them all.

"Quantum is the future for Eques. The future where they will be no war or suffering. A future where they will be no starvation or homeless. A future will there will be no fear of money or becoming poor. Quantum is this future. Quantum is the future of all." Said Quantum Three

"Yeah right." The crowd turned to see Rainbow who spoke out. "We know who you are Quantum; you're a bunch of crazies who think peace comes from enslaving Pokemon and being all the same."

"Quantum remembers you, rainbow Pegasus. You were at Griffonstone when we first came to bring peace to the world. But what you speak is the truth. Pokemon are the tools for gaining the perfect peaceful future. All will become Quantum, and that will ensure peace never is lost. For if all are Quantum, then there won't be a difference, which will cause a disturbance in the peace." Said Quantum Three

"You're completely crazy if we would ever want to be a mindless drone like all of you." Said Rainbow

"You don't have a choice; Quantum has seen the future and the future is Quantum. All shall become Quantum!" Said Quantum Three

"All shall become Quantum! All shall become Quantum!" Said Quantum behind Quantum Three

"Quantum is the future! All shall become Quantum!"

All of Quantum across the ship began to repeat the same phrase, 'All shall become Quantum.' But then it completely stopped as all of Quantum went silent. The silence stayed as ponies looked among themselves as they returned to Quantum.

"What just happened?" Asked Rainbow

"I have no idea." Said Twilight

"I don't know darlings, but I have a bad feeling about all of this." Said Rarity

Soon the black masks on all of Quantum went a bright red as they all began to repeat one single word.

"Anomaly! Anomaly! Anomaly!"

"What's going on?" Asked Rainbow

"I wish I knew." Said Applejack

"Maybe they need their batteries changed." Joked Pinkie

The word 'Anomaly' filled the air around Ponyville as all of Quantum kept repeating that single word. Then it went silent again, but the masks of Quantum all still held their red glow. Everypony watched with baited breath for what would happen next. Soon Quantum turned their heads, and the ponies followed to see Jake standing behind the group of ponies with his Gardevoir next to him and Meowstic resting on his head.

Twilight started to feel a gut a feeling that something was about to happen to Jake. Quantum Three turned entirely towards Jake and began to speak once again.

"The anomaly shows itself to Quantum. Quantum has warned Quantum that the anomaly will show its face one day." Quantum Three pointed one of his fingers at Jake. "Quantum shall stop you before you bring about the Shadowing."

"Shadowing." Murmured Jake

"Master, why are they calling you the 'anomaly?'" Asked Gardevoir

"Beats me." Said Jake

Quantum Three raised his right arm as a blue energy blade came out of it. He leaped into the air and came down fast towards Jake and his Pokemon. Gardevoir quickly acted as she pushed Jake out of the way as Quantum Three landed with his blade slicing into the earth where Jake was standing a second ago. Ponies gasped as they watched the scene. Twilight almost fainted from the fact that Jake nearly kicked the bucket.

"Sweet Celestia, that Quantum Minotaur nearly took Jake's head off!" Exclaimed Applejack

Twilight didn't waste another second as she moved Spike and her bags off her back as she went right towards Jake and Quantum Three. I can't let Quantum hurt Jake! Twilight took to the air and armed an attack spell. Quantum Three got back to his feet as he walked over to Jake, who was trying to get his barrings. Meowstic laid next to him trying to get her barrings as well. Gardevoir was getting back to her feet when she saw Quantum Three nearing her master. Quantum Three raised his blade as he stood over Jake. The Minotaur readied his blade to strike Jake, but the blade hit a shield as Gardevior teleported herself in front of Jake and used Protect. Gardevoir struggled to keep up the shield, but luckily Twilight fired off her attack spell, blasting Quantum Three away from Jake and his Pokemon. She landed on the ground as Jake got himself back to his feet with Meowstic following close behind.

"You ok, Gardevoir?" Asked Jake

"Yes, and thank you, Twilight. I wasn't sure how long I could use Protect." Said Gardevoir

"No problem because as a princess of Equestria, I must protect all who reside in Equestria." Said Twilight

"Yeah, and thanks for the save, Gardevoir." Said Jake

"It was nothing master." Said Gardevoir

"A warning would have been nice though," said Meowstic as she rubbed her head.

"I barely had time to push you and master out of the way, let alone warn you of my plan." Stated Gardevoir

"You dare protect the anomaly." The group turned to see Quantum Three get back on his feet. "You dare defy Quantum the chance to kill the anomaly. You dare risk your world to the Shadowing."

"I dare because I won't let you hurt or kill a friend." Said Twilight

"Friend, you see the bringer of darkness as a friend." Said Quantum Three

"Yes, and I'm not the only one." Said Twilight

Soon the Mane Six were standing next to Jake ready to fight Quantum Three.

"I see, the anomaly has already poisoned your minds. But no worries, you will see the truth when you all become apart of Quantum. Quantum will show you why the anomaly must not live." Said Quantum Three

"As I said before, we're not joining Quantum." Said Rainbow

The other nodded their heads showing they wouldn't become part of Quantum either. Jake pushed past his friends and stood in the front of them.

"Enough of your nonsense. I don't know why you want to kill me, how I'm an anomaly to you or what the Shadowing is, but I know one thing. You can't come to Ponyville thinking you're going to convert it to your crazy ideology without dealing with me. So Quantum how about we settle this problem the old fashion, with a Pokemon battle." Said Jake

"Quantum accepts your challenge to fight. We ask that if we win, that you hand yourself over to Quantum." Said Quantum Three

"Fair enough, but if I win, you never return to Ponyville as long as I live." Said Jake

"Quantum will accept your terms. We also inquire that the battle is a three on three." Said Quantum Three

"I can deal with that." Said Jake

"Then prepare yourself, for I am Quantum Three, the third-ranking leader of Quantum. Quantum gave me the title because I am ruthless in battle, so prepare yourself. Quantum shall defeat you and destroy you. All shall become Quantum for Quantum is the future. All hail Quantum!" Said Quantum Three

"Bring it on!" Shouted Jake

Jake put his Aura Reader over his eye and activated it as a Quantum unicorn walked over to Quantum Three and opened a small briefcase holding three Poke Balls. Quantum Three took one of the Poke Balls and turned back to Jake.

"Prepare to lose for none shall stop Quantum." Quantum Three threw the Poke Ball up in the air, and it released the Pokemon inside. "Come out Klang and serve Quantum."

Klang appeared before Quantum Three and Jake. Unlike the other Pokemon that had collars around their necks to control them, Klang had a device resting on the center gear. Twilight pulled her Pokedex from saddlebags that Spike was holding for her. She pointed it at Klang.

"Klang the Gear Pokemon. By changing the direction in which it rotates, it communicates its feelings to others. When angry, it rotates faster."

"So a Steel Type, huh. Well, I'll use a Pokemon who can exploit one of your weakness." Jake grabbed a Pokeball from his belt, "Braixen, let's do it, girl."

Jake's Pokeball opened up and out came Braixen.

"Braixen."

"Quantum fears no weakness for we see no flaw. Klang, begin by using Automize." Said Quantum Three

Klang began to spin its gears faster to increase its speed as well as decrease its weight.

"Interesting start, but let me show you why weakness plays a significant role in a Pokemon battle. Braixen, use Sunny Day." Said Jake

Braixen grabbed her wand and fired a blast of fire into the sky. The fire exploded and caused the sun to grow even brighter. In Canterlot, Celestia stopped stuffing her face full of cake to fell something was up with the sun but shrugged as she went back to stuffing cake in her face as Lucario and Gallade sat and watched. The citizens of Ponyville covered their eyes from how bright the sun was shining down on the town.

"Now follow up with Flamethrower." Said Jake

Braixen pointed her stick and fire erupted from the end in a violent torrent of flames.

"Wow, now that's a Flamethrower." Stated Applejack

"Sunny Day gives a 50% increase to all Fire Type moves." Said Twilight

The torrent of flames continued their path towards Klang, "Dodge."

Klang moved away from the significant portion of the Flamethrower, but it did strike Klang, causing damage.

"Great work, Braixen." Said Braixen

"Braix, Braixen."

"Don't celebrate too early anomaly. You have yet to defeat, my Klang. Now Klang, use Shift Gears." Klang stopped spinning before spinning the other direction increasing its speed once more as well as its attack. "Now let us attack, use Gear Grind."

Klang sped quickly towards Braixen before spinning its gears as fast as possible. Jake didn't have time to order a defense as Klang struck Braixen to the ground and spun its main gear, grinding Braixen into the dirt.

"Braixen, use Psychic to get Klang off of you!" Exclaimed Jake

Braixen gripped her wand and let her eyes glow blue as she surrounded Klang in blue energy before throwing the Gear Pokemon off of her and into the dirt. Braixen slowly back to her feet and crawled out of the hole. Jake could see the attack took a modest portion of Braixen's health.

"As Quantum spoke before, we have no weakness." Said Quantum Three

"Well, we're just warming up over here. Braixen, let's show them our speed. Flame Charge!" Said Jake

Braixen began to run at Klang before sparking her wand and consuming herself in a ball of fire.

"Dodge." Ordered Quantum Three

Klang moved out of the way of Braixen, "Again, Braixen."

Braixen stopped and turned and began to run again. She sparked herself to once again become a living fireball.

"Dodge once more." Said Quantum Three

Klang dodged Braixen's attack once more, "One more time!"

Braixen stopped and ran right at Klang, sparked her wand and for the third time, became a fireball.

"I expected more anomaly, dodge of the third time, Klang." Said Quantum Three

Klang was about to dodge when Braixen struck the Steel Type Pokemon with Flame Charge, causing double the damage thanks to Klang being weak to Fire-Type Moves. Klang landed on the ground in front of Quantum Three and slowly got back up. Braixen landed next to Jake, panting from all the running.

"You did great, girl." Said Jake

Braixen turned and smiled as she spun her wand in her hands. Jake could see that Sunny Day was over as the sun became normal.

"Klang, Quantum orders you to use Charge." Said Quantum Three

Klang began to charge electrical energy as it spun its gears together.

So Quantum Three is going to try and attack me with an Electric Type move. I need to put a stop to Klang before it charges enough electric energy to do some severe damage to Braixen.

"Braixen, Ember." Said Jake

Braixen aimed her wand and fired off a small ball of fire.

"Protect!" Ordered Quantum Three

Klang brought up a shield to stop the Ember from hitting. Jake smiled as he was hoping Quantum Three would go a more defensive route than attack. Time to show why you don't mess with me, my friends and my town.

"Follow up Braixen with Flame Charge." Said Jake

Braixen once again ran towards Klang and turned herself into a fireball.

"Klang, dodge." Said Quantum Three

Perfect!

"Braixen stop Flame Charge and release a Flamethrower." Said Jake

Braixen broke from Flame Charge and pointed her wand at the retreating Klang and fired her Flamethrower. Klang was unable to escape Braixen's attack and got caught up in the torrent of flames. Braixen stopped her Flamethrower to show that Klang was down and out for the count.

"Alright!" Screamed Jake

"Braixen."

"That's our Jake." Said Pinkie

"Well done." Said Twilight

Quantum Three raised Klang's Pokeball and brought the Pokemon back into its home. Quantum Three set it back into the briefcase that the Quantum Unicorn was still holding. Quantum Three grabbed a second Pokeball, "You once again celebrate too early anomaly. But I guess you should celebrate while you can for once you lose; you will only know pain and suffering. So much that you will beg Quantum to end your life."

"We'll see about that." Said Jake

"Yes, we will, now come and serve Quantum, Sandslash."

Quantum Three threw the Pokeball up and out came the Ground Type Pokemon, Sandslash.

"Sandslash."

Twilight pointed her Pokedex at Sandslash.

"Sandslash the Mouse Pokemon and the evolved form of Sandshrew. Sandslash's body is covered by tough spikes, which are hardened sections of its hide. Once a year, the old spikes fall out, to be replaced with new spikes that grow out from beneath the old ones."

"It's a Ground Type Pokemon, which means Jake is at a disadvantage here." Stated Twilight

The one time I decide not to bring Empoleon along with me. Oh well, I'll have to improvise since Braixen isn't going to last long against a Ground Type Pokemon. Luckily I do have a Pokemon that can deal some damage against Sandslash.

"Braixen return." Jake brought out Braixen's Pokeball and pointed it at her and brought her back inside. He then grabbed a new one from his belt. "Mienfoo you're up."

Jake tossed Mienfoo's Pokeball into the air and out came the Fighting Type Pokemon as Jake caught the Pokeball back in his hands.

"Sandslash, use Sandstorm." Said Quantum Three

Sandslash roared, and soon sand began to fill the area. Ponies covered their eyes as the sand spun around them. Damn, this isn't going to be easy.

"Mienfoo, Meditate." Said Jake

Mienfoo closed her eyes and placed her hands together as she began to Meditate to increase her attack by a level.

"Sandslash, Dig." Said Quantum Three

Sandslash dove into the ground and began to make its way over to Mienfoo, "Detect."

Mienfoo opened her eyes and jumped out of the way as Sandslash came up from the ground, "Follow that up with Force Palm."

Mienfoo landed on the ground and jabbed her palm into the gut of Sandslash doing double damage and sending the Mouse Pokemon away from her. The Mane Six cheered for Jake. But he could see the Sandstorm was taking away the health of Mienfoo. We only have to last five turns before Sandstorm will end and we won't get buffed by it.

"Sandslash, rollout!" Ordered Quantum Three

Sandslash rolled up into a ball and began to roll towards Mienfoo, "Dodge."

Mienfoo jumped out of the way, "Continue Rollout until your smash that Mienfoo!"

Sandslash stopped and quickly turned around causing Mienfoo to dodge once more. Mienfoo landed but had to avoid once more to make it out of the way as Sandslash passed her again. The Sandstorm was beginning to subside making Jake a little happy, but his mind wasn't on the Sandstorm, but Mienfoo and the rolling Sandslash. Finally, Mienfoo was unable to escape Sandslash and got hit. She went flying towards Jake and hit the ground before getting to her feet. She breathed heavily from none stop dodging to keep out of the way of Sandslash.

"Sandstorm once more." Said Quantum

Sandslash roared and caused yet another Sandstorm to rip through Ponyville. Citizens wined, especially Rarity, as the sand blew around them once again. Jake growled and cursed under his breath from the fact that Mienfoo already lost plenty of health from the first Sandstorm and the Rollout, and now he had to deal with yet another Sandstorm.

"Meditate once more, Mienfoo." Said Jake

Mienfoo once again took the form she did when she meditated and raised her attack another level. But the Sandstorm took a little more of her health.

"Bounce, Mienfoo." Said Jake

Mienfoo pressed her legs against the round and launched herself into the air. She hopped out of the raging sand, keeping her health safe for a minute. Mienfoo then spun in the air and pointed her right foot down towards the head of Sandslash.

"Protect." Said Quantum Three

Mienfoo struck the screen Sandslash placed in front of itself to block any damage that Mienfoo would deal.

"Leap off the shield and hit Sandslash with Drain Punch." Said Jake

Mienfoo pushed off the shield as her right hand began to glow green before she struck Sandslash on the head and began to absorb Sandslash's health to restore hers. Mienfoo leaped away and landed next to Jake as Sandstorm took a little more of her health. Sandslash took a knee from losing its health from Drain Punch.

"Quantum orders you to stand!" Said Quantum Three

When Sandslash wouldn't stand on Quantum Three's orders, Quantum Three brought up its right arm. He tapped a button, causing the collar around Sandslashed neck to activate. All the ponies of Ponyville heard Sandslash scream as the collar sent volts of electricity into Sandslash.

"Now stand!" Demanded Quantum Three

Sandslash was slow to stand, but another volt of electricity got it right back to its feet.

"That's horrible." Said Fluttershy

"How can you do that to a Pokemon?" Asked Jake

"Because anomaly, Pokemon are nothing but tools for Quantum to use to bring about the future of peace that Quantum saw. Pokemon have no place in society other than beasts of burden that once they outlive their usefulness are thrown away." Said Quantum Three

"Thrown away?" Asked Jake

"Yes, anomaly, thrown away as in, disposed of." Said Quantum Three

Jake felt everything stop when he put it all together, "You...you...you kill them."

Gasps went throughout the crowd of ponies watching the fight.

"You are right once more anomaly. We dispose or kill any tool that outlives there usefulness. Quantum does not need worthless tools that will not further Quantum's goal. If a tool will not work, what does one do with it? They get rid of it. That's what we do with all Pokemon that become useless. All our tools are expendable to achieve Quantum's goals of peace across the planet of Eques."

"How could you?! How could you kill such sweet and innocent creatures?!" Screamed Fluttershy

Tears ran down her cheeks as she heard Quantum Three tell them that they kill Pokemon. Jake clenched his fists in anger as he looked at Quantum Three.

"Enough," Everypony turned to Jake. "Let's finish this fight once and for all. And when I win, and you lose, I want you to send a message to your fucking leader! Tell him I'm coming for him and I will fucking make him pay for every Pokemon he has killed!"

The girls couldn't believe their ears as Jake outright cursed. Sure the girls knew he swore, because what grown pony doesn't curse. But Jake always did it under his breath or uttered a minor curse word, but not outright saying the word, 'fuck.'

"That's if you win." Said Quantum Three

"Oh, I'm fucking winning! Mienfoo, Jump Kick!" Exclaimed Jake

Mienfoo leaped into the air and extended her right leg out to strike the head of Sandslash.

"Quantum orders you, Sandslash to use Protect." Said Quantum Three

Sandslash once again brought up a shield stopping Mienfoo's attack, "Leap off and end it with Drain Punch."

Mienfoo leaped off the shield and hit Sandslash with another Drain Punch, ending the battle as Drain Punch took the last of Sandslash's health. Mienfoo landed next to Jake as Quantum Three returned Sandslash to its Pokeball.

"Well done, Mienfoo." Said Jake

"Mienfoo."

Quantum Three grabbed the last Pokeball and launched it into the air. Once high enough it opened up and out came a Breloom. Twilight once again pointed her Pokedex at Breloom.

"Breloom the Mushroom Pokemon and the evolved form of Shroomish. Breloom closes in on its foe with light and sprightly footwork, then throws punches with its stretchy arms. This Pokémon's fighting technique puts boxers to shame."

Jake returned Mienfoo and looked back at Gardevoir. She walked out and prepared for battle.

"Gardevoir, let's end this." Said Jake

"Yes, master." Said Gardevoir

Jake grabbed his Keystone around his neck and closed his eyes, "Keystone listen to my heart." He opened his eyes as he felt the energy pass through his fingers. "Mega Evolve!"

Waves of energy leaped from Jake's hand to connect to the energy coming from the Mega Stone around Gardevoirs neck. The two lines met as Gardevoir began to change into her mega form. Jake wanted to show Quantum Three that he said what he meant. Soon the energy Gardevoir exploded revealing her Mega Evolution. A DNA symbol hovered above her before disappearing.

"Oh my Celestia, Gardevoir is gorgeous!" Screamed Rarity

"She looks like she's in a weddin' dress." Stated Applejack

"Who cares, just look at how beautiful she looks!" Screamed Rarity

"Quantum does not fear your mega Pokemon." Said Quantum Three

"It's not the Pokemon your should fear but the trainer. Gardevoir, Psychic." Said Jake

Gardevoir's eyes began to glow blue as she surrounded Breloom in a blue aura and raised the Mushroom Pokemon to the sky before pointing her hand down to the ground. Breloom went slamming into the earth below. The attack shaved off some of Breloom's health. The Grass and Fighting Type Pokemon got back to its feet.

"Leech Seed!" Ordered Quantum

Breloom closed its mouth before sending seeds at Gardevoir. The seeds popped open, and vines began to wrap around Gardevoir. She hissed as she felt her life drain from her before balls of energy went flying into Breloom, filling him with health.

"Gardevoir, use Moonblast." Said Jake

Gardevoir raised her hands to sky and everypony watched in amazement as the moon began to rise. And in Canterlot Luna snored and murmured that somepony was messing with the moon, but turned over and continued to sleep and drool all over her pillow. Gardevoir pointed her hands at Breloom and beam of light from the moon went right towards Breloom.

"Protect." Said Quantum Three

Breloom placed a shield in front of itself and stopped the attack. Once the beam was over the moon went back in place causing the other side of the world to question what just happened to the moon. Gardevoir hissed again as Leech Seed leeched off another portion of her health, healing Breloom.

"Mach Punch." Said Quantum Three

Breloom ran towards Gardevoir as his right hand began to glow, "Shadow Ball."

Gardevoir charged a dark sphere in front of her before releasing it towards Breloom. Breloom used Mach Punch to destroy the Shadow Ball but left him open to Gardevoir who grabbed his once again in Psychic and launched him into the ground.

"Follow up with Dazzling Gleam." Said Jake

Gardevoir charged the attack while hissing from Leech Seed. She released Dazzling Gleam as bright colored lights went right towards Breloom, striking him with a critical hit. Breloom didn't have much health left, and Jake didn't let up, "Finish it with Shadow Ball."

Gardevoir charge the attack and sent it flying towards Breloom, "Quantum orders you to dodge."

But Breloom didn't move as the Shadow Ball struck its target and Breloom fell to the ground with spirals in its eyes.

"I won, Quantum Three." Said Jake

Quantum Three returned the Pokemon before putting the Pokeball back into the briefcase. Gardevoir returned to her usual self as Jake turned off his Aura Reader.

"Now get the fuck out of Ponyville and don't come back. And also remember to tell your leader what I said because I'll be waiting." Said Jake

Quantum Three began to chuckle lightly before turning into full-grown laughter as sparks jumped from his suit. His head began to twitch back and forth as the laughing continued to intensify.

"Anomaly, one does not call out Quantum. Quantum is the one who calls you out. But don't fear, when the time comes and it will, you will meet Quantum, and in the end, he will have your head. Then all will praise Quantum when you are no more. Quantum is the future of all. All hail Quantum! All hail Quantum!" Said Quantum Three

He continued to laugh as the Gothitelle grabbed him and itself in its psychic powers, and lifted itself and Quantum Three into the haul of the ship followed by the other members of Quantum. The bottom closed before the engines came to life and the ship flew off. Jake kept his eyes on the vessel as it sped away from Ponyville. I'll be waiting, Quantum and when we meet, I'll make you pay!

Night now rested over Ponyville with Luna still trying to figure out who was messing with the moon this morning. Jake sat on the step outside the door of the library. He held his Keystone in his right hand as he rubbed his thumb of the stone. His mind always replaying what Quantum Three told him today in their battle. We dispose or kill any tool that outlives there usefulness. Quantum does not need worthless tools that will not further Quantum's goal. If a tool will not work, what does one do with it? They get rid of it. That's what we do with all Pokemon that become useless. All our tools are expendable to achieve Quantum's goals of peace across the planet of Eques. Jake gripped the Keystone tighter in his right hand as anger for Quantum boiled through his blood.

He heard the door to the library open and close, but he didn't turn around to see who was exiting the library. He then heard that somepony sat next to him and then a warm feathery wing draping over his shoulder. He turned to see Twilight looking at him with a concerned look in her eyes. The two didn't say a word as what was there for Twilight to say. She knew Jake loved Pokemon and hearing that Quantum was killing them made him angry. She knew that he would never let the words of Quantum leave his memories until he defeated their leader. All she could do was be there for him.

Twilight felt Jake lay his hand on her shoulder. She looked over to him to see him calm down. She smiled as she placed her head on his. Saying nothing wasn't the same as saying nothing. Twilight knew he just needed somepony to lean on and she was that pony. The two stayed that way just enjoying each others company after an eventful day.

The sounds of metal tapping on metal echoed a long hallway. Dim lights lit the hallway with Quantum on both sides standing guard. Quantum Three walked down the metal hallway towards the door at the end of the hall. Two Quantum earth ponies opened the door to a room covered in darkness, expect a single light that was hanging down from the ceiling shining a small circle of light on the floor.

Quantum Three took a knee as he stood in the light, "Quantum, we discovered the anomaly that you spoke about, but I am here to inform you that I wasn't able to dispose of him."

"No worries, Quantum Three, I witnessed everything from the cameras from your vessel." Said Quantum in an even deeper mechanical voice

"I apologize for failing you Quantum. I am not worthy of calling myself, Quantum." Said Quantum Three

"That may be true, but I shall never push away those who follow me and my dream for this worlds. So raise, Quantum Three and continued to speak the word of Quantum to all. We must increase our ranks if Quantum is going to bring peace to this world." Said Quantum

"Thank you Quantum and praise you. But what about the threat that the anomaly made against you?" Asked Quantum Three

"Quantum will fulfill the anomaly's wish in time, but for now, we must continue to perch and bring in followers. Now go Quantum Three and perch my word for peace is on the horizon." Said Quantum

"Yes, Quantum." Said Quantum Three

Quantum three got up and left the room. Once Quantum heard the doors shut, he flicked up an image of Jake looking up at the vessel as it left Ponyville. Soon dear anomaly we will meet, and it will be you that will perish under my boot.
