A Hero I Am

Jake sat on the couch of the library holding a book in his hands. With nothing much to do around Ponyville, since ponies saw him as a threat, he decided to understand the world around him. Even though Jake had been here a few weeks, Jake never found time to sit down and just figure out the history of the world around him. He flipped the page he was on when he heard the door open. He looked up to see Twilight and Spike coming in. Twilight had plenty of groceries in her magic and Spike's hands. He closed the book and got up to help.

"Need some help?" He asked

"Oh thanks, Jake." Said Twilight

Twilight gave Jake the bags of Pokemon food that she had picked up from Fluttershy.

"Man did Fluttershy sure made some large bags of Pokemon food." Said Jake

"No kidding, you should see her food storage area. The thing is packed high with bags of Pokemon food." Said Spike

"Well, at least we know Fluttershy will have plenty of food for our Pokemon." Said Jake

"I guess." Said Spike

"So the Pokemon still playing outside." Said Twilight

Not wanting to keep their Pokemon from having fun outside, Twilight created a way to do so. She created a protection spell around the backyard to allow their Pokemon to run freely outside. When ponies would pass by, they wouldn't see or hear them. It allowed their Pokemon to play outside and letting them not worry about the ponies harming them.

Jake walked up and looked out the window and saw them all. Eevee and Zorua were running around. Espurr was just watching them. Ralts was sitting next to Mareep who slept peacefully in the sun. Buneary and Fennekin seemed to be chatting with Axew. Cyndaquil was just sleeping where the most sun was. Jake just laughed out how strange his Pokemon were. He helped Twilight take the food down to the basement. They came back up and helped Spike get the groceries into the kitchen. Once done, Jake opened the door to let the Pokemon back in.

"Come on all of you, time to come in." Said Jake

All the Pokemon saw him and came running into the house. Jake closed the door, and Twilight levitated in food for them all. Each bowl marked with each Pokemon's name. Twilight placed them on the ground, and they each began to eat. Spike came in from the kitchen with a tub of ice cream.

"I'm not sure if this house can hold all these Pokemon." Said Spike

"I know for sure. You can't have that much ice cream." Said Twilight

Twilight levitated the tub and metal spoon away from Spike before he took a bite. It floated back into the kitchen and then came back out in a bowl. It landed in Spike's claws, and he scowled Twilight

"You remember the last time you ate a tub of ice cream." Said Twilight

He huffed before taking a bite from the bowl of ice cream making Twilight roll her eyes.

"I do think Spike is right, if my team or yours, Twilight, do expand. How are we going to keep all these Pokemon in the library? Especially when they evolve." Said Jake

"Hm, well we can worry about that later." Said Twilight

"I guess." Said Jake

Jake returned to the couch and returned to his book. Twilight sat next to him pulling up her book. Spike just sat down with his ice cream as the Pokemon continued to eat. They were all being peaceful till the flash of a camera. They all looked at Discord holding a camera and shaking a picture.

"What a great family picture." Said Discord

"I swear Discord. I regret ever being partners with you." Said Jake

Discord sat next to Jake. He placed his hand on his shoulder. "Come on Jake. You know you love our partnership."

"Oh please." Said Jake

"Discord, don't you have anything better to do." Said Twilight

"No." Said Discord

Jake was about to retort, but a loud, crazy knocking came to the library door. The Pokemon looked up as the knocking kept up. They waited for the knocking to stop, but never did. Instead, it continued and increased in pace. Twilight sighed as the pony would never leave the door. She got up and headed towards the door. She opened it and was pushed out of the way as Rarity and Applejack came in. They were frantic.

"Girls calm down." Rarity and Applejack looked up at Jake and calmed down. "Now what is the problem."

"Our sisters!" Said them both.

"Sisters?" Asked Jake

"Yes, Rarity and Applejack have sisters. Apple Bloom is Applejack's sister, and Sweetie Belle is Rarity's sister." Said Twilight

"Exactly how was I supposed to know that. I never meet Apple Bloom or Sweetie Belle" Said Jake

"That is true." Said Twilight

"Now what's wrong with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle that needs you knocking like crazy ponies on my door." Said Twilight

"This." Said Rarity

Rairty levitated over a letter, and Jake took it in his hand. He looked at Rarity

"I got the same one as well, partner." Said Applejack

Discord looked over Jake's shoulder. Jake opened the note and read it out loud.

Dear ponies who read this letter. We have captured your loved ones who attend the local school. If you ever want to see them again, we ask that you bring Jake to us. If Jake doesn't appear within two hours of this letter reaching you, we will take your love ones away. Have a beautiful day from Team Catastrophe.

"Now you see why we were crazy frantic." Said Rarity

"Partner, you're our only hope here." Said Applejack

"Yes, your Pokemon are the best for this situation." Said Rarity

Jake read the note again and folded it up. He walked up the stairs and then came back down with the Snag Machine on his arm. His Pokemon belt on his waist with six Poke Balls. He took each one off and returned the Pokemon to it. He took Espurr, Ralts, Zorua, Fennekin, Buneary and Mareep. The others would follow close behind. He didn't want to give this Team Catastrophe member any advantage against his Pokemon team.

"Show me to this school." Said Jake

Applejack and Rarity nodded. Then the two ran off, and Jake followed with the rest of his team, Twilight, Spike, and Discord.

The crew arrived as ponies encircled around the school. A black smoke covered the school as the fillies and colts peaked out of the window plus a mare. Jake pushed through the crowd of ponies as the others did it as well. Once they pushed through, they looked around and finally smoke figured humans appeared. Jake stood in front with Discord next to him. Jake's other Pokemon kept behind Twilight.

"I'm here now, so how wants to fight." Said Jake

A female laughter filled the air. The smoke figures moved, and Jake saw yet another human animal hybrid step forward. Again she was yet another female. This time, instead of a cat, the female was a fox. She had red fox ears and a red fox tail. Her clothing was a red bra with a fox head in the middle and a red skirt that showed off her panties like Kitty. Her eyes were also black with red pupils. Dang another hybrid girl.

"I see you've arrived. I thought you were going to let me take these kids and teacher away." Said the female Tem Catastrophe member.

"Who are you?" Asked Jake

"They call me Foxy."

"What do you plan to do with those ponies." Said Jake

"Our plan is to convert them to our cause. Our fight takes warriors, and these ponies will be our new fighters." Said Foxy

"Well, that would be if I didn't come here. Now you wanted a battle, so let's battle." Said Jake

"I'm glad. Our battle will be a three on three. If you win, I'll leave these poor ponies alone. But if you lose, I'll take them, and you'll never see them again." Said Foxy

"That sure is a bet." Said Discord

"Yes it is, but we don't have a choice. Alright, let's get this started." Said Jake

"Great, let's see what you can do." Said Foxy

"Let's do this." Said Jake

"Let's battle!" Said Jake and Foxy

"Let's get going." A Poke Ball appeared in Foxy's hand. "Mienfoo."

Foxy tossed the Poke Ball, and it opened it to a Mienfoo. Jake pressed his Aura Reader online, and it came up. He saw that Mienfoo was glowing. So I can snag this Mienfoo. Time to move into action. Jake grabbed his Ralts and threw it out.

"Ralts, I choose you." Said Jake

His Poke Ball opened up and out came Ralts.

"Ralts."

"Now Disarming Voice." Said Jake

Ralts sent out a salvo of hearts.

"Mienfoo dodge." Mienfoo leaped away from the attack. "Now double slap."

Mienfoo came down and started to run towards Ralts. Its hands glowed hit as it approached Ralts.

"Ralts Teleport." Said Jake

Ralts disappeared as Mienfoo reached Ralts. Mienfoo looked around for Ralts.

"Ralts come out of Teleport and use Confusion." Said Jake

Ralts came out right behind Mienfoo and struck it with Confusion. The attack hit Mienfoo hard causing extra damage since Fighting Types were weak against Psychic-Type moves. Since it was effective, Mienfoo became confused. Foxy growled at her Mienfoo now confused.

"Double Slap." Said Foxy

Mienfoo's paws glowed white but instead of striking Ralts. It struck itself. Jake had what he needed.

"Ralts, Disarming Voice." Said Jake

Ralts sent out a salvo of hearts that struck Mienfoo. Jake saw that it was enough for him to catch Mienfoo. He summoned out a Poke Ball from his Snag Machine and held it in his hand. He pulled back his hand to throw the Poke Ball.

"Go, Poke Ball! Snag that Pokemon!" Said Jake

He tossed out the Poke Ball, and it touched Mienfoo and sucked up the Pokemon. It landed on the ground and shook back and forth as the red dot blinked in the middle. Jake bit his lip but sighed when the ball stopped shaking. Discord summoned the ball over and tossed it into Jake's hand. It shrank down. Jake gave it to Twilight to hold.

"I'll say, you truly are an interesting character. Why you would ever want to save such weak Pokemon is beyond me." Said Foxy

"Because all Pokemon deserve a better life than as a weapon." Said Jake

"That's an utterly pointless statement, but let's continue." Another Poke Ball formed in Foxy's hand. "Let's see if your Ralts can deal with this, Yamask."

She tossed off the Poke Ball, and a Yamask appeared. So she's going Ghost Type on my Psychic Type. Better switch out Ralts. Jake was about to call Ralts back, but Foxy stopped his action."

"Mean Look." Said Foxy

Yamask came up to Ralts and gave a dark face at her. Ralts shook with fear, and her Poke Ball could no longer bring her back. Damn.

"Ha, now that your Ralts can no longer leave this battle, let's play. Yamask, Shadow Ball."

Yamask formed a ball of dark energy and sent it barreling into Ralts. It struck Ralts hard and sent her skidding into the ground. Foxy just laughed as Ralts slowly got up. Jake growled as there wasn't much he could do for his Ralts. Foxy pointed her hand at Ralts.

"Shadow Ball."

Yamask sent out another shadow ball at Ralts.

"Teleport." Said Jake

Ralts disappeared as Jake covered himself as the shadow ball struck the ground in front of him.

"Jake." Said Applejack

"I'm all right." Said Jake

Ralts appeared in front of Jake. Jake looked down and saw half of her health was gone. Jake growled as Foxy's Yamask pretty much made it impossible for him to strike a critical blow to Yamask or retreat out his Ralts. I'm stuck with no other option but to fight. Jake decided he couldn't stand around and let his Ralts take any more damage. Jake had to fight back.

"Use Confusion, Ralts." Said Jake

Ralts started to raise her hands and sent waves of psychic energy at Yamask, and it struck Yamask. Jake smiled, but that ended when a Shadow Ball came straight towards them and hit Ralts. The explosion was strong as Jake raised his arms to block the incoming smoke. When the dust settled, Ralts was out cold. She had lost. Jake growled under his breath before he raised Ralts' Poke Ball and bringing her back in.

"You tried your best Ralts. You get some rest. I'll get you to Fluttershy's after this." Said Jake

"Everypony move!"

Jake and Discord turned to see Fluttershy coming running up with Audino.

"Jake I came as soon as I could. Audino and I are ready to heal up your Pokemon when you need us." Said Fluttershy

"Thanks, Fluttershy." Jake opened the Poke Ball in his hand and brought out Ralts. She was still hurt as she laid in Audino's hands. "Take care of her Fluttershy."

"Will do." Said Fluttershy

"Audino."

The two ran back as Jake turned back to Foxy and Yamask. Jake pulled his second Pokemon.

"Zorua, show them what a Dark Type Pokemon can do." Said Jake

Jake tossed Zorua's Poke Ball, and it opened up to reveal Zorua. Jake caught the ball as it came back to him.

"Zor, Zorua."

"Hm, so this is your second choose. No matter, my Yamask will make quick work of it. Now Shadow Ball."

Yamask started to charge a Shadow Ball. Even though it was a Ghost-Type move and weak against Zorua, Jake didn't want to take a chance.

"Quick Attack." Said Jake

Zorua started to book it at extreme speeds as she headed towards Yamask. At that point, Yamask released it Shadow Ball, but Zorua dodged it.

"Now stop Quick Attack and use Pursuit." Said Jake

Zorua glowed dark as it jumped up and gave a damaging blow to Yamask. Zorua flipped through the air and landed on her feet in front of Jake.

"I'm impressed human. I thought you were crazy attacking me with a Normal Type move against my Ghost Type Yamask. But using it to dodge my Yamask's Shadow Ball and use it to get close to attack with Pursuit. But it will take a lot more than that to beat my Yamask." Yamask appeared in front of Foxy. "Now let's see how your Zorua deals with this. Yamask, Will-O-Wisp."

A set of dark flame began to surround Yamask and sent out towards Zorua. Jake knew what would happen if he let that attack hit.

"Dodge." Said Jake

Zorua moved out of the way, but Foxy just smiled, showing off her fox-like teeth. As soon as Zorua had cleared the first set, another set of blue fire flames came at her. This time, consuming her in the fire. Zorua screamed out as the flames engulfed her. Damn, Zorua's now burned. After the flames had died down, small embers kept coming off of Zorua. Foxy laughed at Zorua's pain.

"This is too fun, but I think I'm going to make your Pokemon an even easier one to defeat. Yamask Curse." Said Foxy

"But if you do that, Yamask will faint." Said Jake

"Huh, you lose some to win some. Now do it Yamask." Said Foxy

Two nails began to glow above both Zorua's and Yamask's heads. Zorua was still struggling to get over having a burn condition come upon her. Both pins came down, and everything went silent as Zorua scream out in pain as the nail was driven into her skull as Yamask continued to curse Zorua. But it also inflicted damage to the user, Yamask lost all of its health and fainted after the move finished. Zorua fell to her knees struggling to catch her breath.

"I can hardly imagine the pain. But from that scream, I know it had to hurt." Said Jake

"What a move, but with such a strange effect. Why would such a move exist." Said Discord

"It beats me, but it did knock out her Yamask. But it felt me with a burned and Zorua that will lose a fourth of its health when we finish a turn." Said Jake

"Yes it may be a disturbing, but quite useful. Your Zorua's screams were music to my ears. But let's get back to it. Let me show you to my most prized Shadow Pokemon, though I doubt you can catch her. Go, Shadow Vulpix!"

"Get ready Jake. Her Shadow Pokemon is about to hit the stage." Said Discord

"Right." Said Jake

Foxy threw up a Poke Ball, and out popped a Vulpix. Jake couldn't believe what his Aura Reader was telling him. Foxy's Vulpix was showing high status in speed. No wonder she mentioned about catching it.

"As you probably saw by now, my Vulpix is quite fast. My sister, Kitty might like power, but we foxes would rather have speed over power." Said Foxy

"Sister." Said Jake

"Oh did I forget to bring that up. Yes, Kitty is my sister. I have two other sisters. They are Bunny and Rough. I bet you can guess the animal connected with them." Said Foxy

"If I had to guess, a rabbit and dog." Said Jake

"Correct, now I think I should put your Zorua out of her misery. Vulpix, Flame Charge." Said Foxy

Vulpix ran towards Zorua at incredible speeds. As Vulpix ran, her body became consumed in fire. She ran right into Zorua, causing another explosion and a small amount of heat. Once the smoke cleared, Zorua laid at Jake's feet out cold. Jake growled but started to feel knots in his stomach. I forgot that Pokemon who uses Flame Charge gains a speed boost. Her Vulpix now became a little faster than before.

"Jake right now isn't time to get cold feet. Give Zorua to Audino and fight back. I know your party doesn't have anything counter her Fire Type. But you are the only hope for those fillies and colts have." Said Discord

Jake looked back at the school with the scared school fillies and colts. He then turned back to the crowd. Jake could see fear in their eyes, but not of his Pokemon and himself, but of losing family members. Jake then looked at Twilight. Her eyes told him to fight on. Discord's right, this is no time to doubt myself. I can't let Foxy take all those innocent fillies and colts from their families. These ponies may not see me as a hero, but I know one thing, I am a hero. Jake bent down and gently picked up Zorua.

"Zor."

"Save your strength girl. Fluttershy and Audino will make sure they have you back up and in fighting shape in no time." Said Jake

Audino came over, and Jake gently laid down Zorua in her hands. Audino walked back to Fluttershy. Jake turned back to Foxy and her Vulpix.

"How sweet of you to care for such a weak Pokemon. My sister was right about you. You know nothing of Pokemon." Said Foxy

"No, you're wrong." Foxy perked up to that. "I understand Pokemon completely. You see them as nothing more but weapons to use whenever you feel like it. You use them to spread pain and misery where you want. But that's not what Pokemon are. Pokemon are supposed to be our friends. We as trainers are to grow a close bond of friendship with our partner Pokemon. That bond of friendship is why I understand Pokemon. My Pokemon are my friends, and I would gladly do anything to make sure they are safe. So to prove to you that any my Pokemon and I have a strong bond and that bond is what will beat you. I'll use the Pokemon I snagged from your sister. Fennekin, let's show them what you got." Said Jake

Jake tossed Fennekin's Poke Ball, and it opened up to reveal her.

"Fenne, Fennekin."

"That is hilarious. You think a weak little Fennekin is going to put a stop to my Vulpix. Well, then you have to be the stupidest hero I've ever seen." Said Foxy

"I'm no hero Foxy. I'm just a man looking out for those who need help." Said Jake

"Well now, isn't that interesting. Well, I think this should be a fun time for my Vulpix. Flame Charge Vulpix." Said Foxy

"Don't back down, Fennekin. Use Flame Charge as well." Said Jake

Both Vulpix and Fennekin started to speed at each other and become engulfed in flames. They ran into each other, and soon they struck each other, and a small explosion followed. The wind blew around as Vulpix landed safely on Foxy's side. Fennekin slid to Jake but was out of breath. But both sides Pokemon now had raised speed, but Vulpix was still faster. But Jake was confused as to why Vulpix didn't lose any health.

"Flamethrower." Said Foxy

Vulpix pulled backs its head as a fire grew inside. It brought it back down and released it at Fennekin.

"Fennekin, Flame Charge to dodge." Said Jake

Fennekin started to run and burst into flames and escaped Vulpix's Flamethrower. Fennekin then ran right into Vulpix. Fennekin landed the attack and rose her speed, but Jake saw no significant damage to Vulpix. Foxy started to laugh as Vulpix stood firm.

"This is too fun. I would have thought you would have known a particular ability that certain Fire Type Pokemon can have." Jake's eyes widened, and he began to curse under his breath. "By those reactions, you figured it out. My Vulpix just happens to have such an ability. My Vulpix knows Flash Fire."

"Flash Fire." Said Disord

"We're pretty much screwed. Flash Fire makes a Fire Type Pokemon invincible to fire moves. But it also raises their attack or special attack. From the look of it, it seems Vulpix now has increased attack." Said Jake

"This is going to make things much harder if any of Fennekin's fire moves won't do a thing but raise Vulpix attack or special attack. You need to watch your back here Jake. Fennekin is your last Pokemon, and if you lose, we will lose those fillies and colts." Said Discord

Jake looked at the school and then at the Vulpix. Damn, this just got a whole lot harder than I thought.

"Don't give up, Jake." Jake turned back to Twilight. "Don't give in to her. I know you'll find a way out. You always find a way to be the hero."

Jake smiled and gave Twilight a thumbs up. She smiled, and he saw the others standing next to her, and his two healed up Pokemon standing to give him words of encouragement with their Pokemon speech. Jake turned back to the battlefield of Fennekin vs. Vulpix. I know I can win this, I just can no longer use Fire-Type Moves. Lucky for me, Fennekin has some non-Fire Type moves.

"Fennekin, Tail Whip." Said Jake

Fennekin moved her tail around to create a ring of energy before sending it at Vulpix. The ring wrapped around Vulpix and disappeared, but it lowered Vulpix's defense.

"Once more." Said Jake

"I would rather you don't do that. Ember, my beautiful Vulpix." Said Foxy

Vulpix pulled back its head and pulled it back down and shot off an ember.

"Dodge." Said Jake

Fennekin moved out of the way and sent its Tail Whip right at Vulpix. Again it landed, and Vulpix's defense lowered.

"Scratch." Said Jake

Fennekin ran right up to the Vulpix, and her paw turned white as it formed a set of claws. It struck Vulpix across the face. Vulpix slid, but Fennekin hadn't finished with the attack just yet.

"Do it over and over again." Said Jake

Fennekin turned both of her paws white and started to nail her scratches across Vulpix. It took a moderate amount of the health of Vulpix. Vulpix slid back breathing slightly heavy after that attack onslaught. Fennekin stood next to Jake ready for her orders.

"So how about that." Said Jake

"You'll pay for ever doing such a thing to my Vulpix. Why don't we show him what you can do? Quick Attack." Said Foxy

Vulpix began to run at incredible speeds right towards Fennekin. So much so, that Fennekin didn't have time to dodge the attack as Vulpix struck Fennekin.

"Now Flame Charge." Said Foxy

Vulpix began to run again, and soon flames engulfed her, and before Jake could give Fennekin an order, the attack hit. Fennekin rolled out of the smoke hurt. Jake also watched as Vulpix's speed once again rose. Jake looked down as Fennekin got up.

"As fun as this has been, I have a schedule to keep. Vulpix, Flamethrower." Said Foxy

Vulpix pulled backs its head and brought it down and released a torrent of flames. The flames consumed a large area, and Fennekin got caught in that range. Jake felt the heat of the fire heating up his body as it continued to flow from Vulpix's mouth. Once it was over, Fennekin laid on the ground with scorched fur. Only 25% of her health remained. No, this can't be happening.

"Fennekin, you need to get up." Said Jake

"Ha, this is," Foxy stopped when Fennekin slowly pushed herself up from the ground. "I see she has some fight left in her. Oh well, I'll just have to burn it out of her. Ember."

Vulpix released a shot of fire from is the mouth, and it struck Fennekin hard. She rolled to the ground close to Jake as she lost more of her health. Fennekin slowly got up and walked herself back to the battle. But the fight had already taken so much of Fennekin's health. It was hard for her to walk to the center of the fighting area. Jake gripped his fist as Fennekin made it to the middle and readied herself.

"This is too funny, on well. Let's end that Fennekin once and for all. Flamethrower." Said Foxy

Vulpix pulled back its head and brought it down releasing the stored up flames. They engulfed Fennekin.

"Fennekin, NO!" Said Jake

But soon a light started to come out of the flames. Vulpix stopped, and the crowd all watched as a strange white light had engulfed Fennekin.

"What's happening?" Asked Discord

Jake realized what was happening to his Fennekin. He smiled, "It seems we're still in this fight. Fennekin is evolving."

"What?" Screamed Foxy

The light started to form out Fennekin as she took to two feet. Her tail became bigger with a stick coming out of it. She grew hands, and her ears grew larger with more red fur coming out. Last was her upper body fur looked like a dress of sorts. Once the light had formed a new body, it disappeared, and Fennekin no longer stood, but now Braixen stood.

"Braixen."

"Alright, my Fennekin evolved." Said Jake

"It was unbelievable, some strange form of light took over Fennekin and now made it into something else. Interesting." Said Twilight

"How did you get your Fennekin to evolve?" Asked Foxy

"Because of our bond as Trainer and Pokemon. Now let me show you what my Braixen can do. Let's try out your new move, Braixen, and I'm afraid though Foxy that Flash Fire won't hold up to this. Go, Psybeam." Said Jake

Braixen grabbed the stick that was attached to its tail. She aimed it at Vulpix, and psychic energy began to charge at the end of the stick. Once charged a blast of energy went towards Vulpix. It landed a critical hit.

"Critical hit, now the tide is turning our way." Said Jake

"You'll pay for that. Vulpix, Flamethrower." Said Foxy

Vulpix released a torrent of flames from its mouth toward Braixen.

"I think we'll counter with our Flamethrower. Do it Braxien." Said Jake

Braixen's stick end burst into flames before pointing at the flames coming towards her and releasing her torrent of flames. Each set of flames meet, and they exploded off each other. Braixen pushed with all her might into her Flamethrower as did Vulpix, but Braixen started to win out. Soon the flames stopped.

"Psybeam." Said Jake

Braixen released her psychic energy at Vulpix landing an attack on Fire Type Pokemon. Jake watched as the health dropped away from the Psybeam. One more strong attack should do it. Jake scanned over Braixen's move and found an interesting one. He gave a nice smile. This will end it right her and now.

"Braixen, Psychic." Said Jake

Braixen's eyes began to glow blue as did the end of the stick. Soon Vulpix was engulfed in a blue aura. Braixen raised Vulpix to the sky before pointing her stick to the ground. Vulpix came tumbling down to the ground, hard. A small amount of dust came up, and once it settled, Vulpix was out. Braixen had won.

"That's it, we won." Said Jake

"Braix, Braixen."

Braixen ran and jumped into Jake's arms. He laughed as he caught his newly evolved Pokemon.

"That was fantastic, Braixen." Said Jake

"Braixen."

"Don't celebrate too early." Said Foxy

Jake and Braixen turned back to Foxy as she placed her shrunk Poke Ball away.

"You may have beaten Kitty and me. But that still leaves Bunny and Rough for you to take on. So take this victory, but don't let it get to your head kid." Said Foxy

The dark clouds disappeared from the school. Jake watched as Foxy and Team Catastrophe disappeared in the smoke. Once they were gone, Jake pressed his Aura Reader off and sighed. He turned to see fillies and colts being comforted by their families. He saw the happy faces on Applejack's and Rarity's faces as they each cuddled a filly.

"I do believe you are a hero." Said Discord

"Maybe I am." Said Jake

"Now everypony, our hero must leave you all. I think his Pokemon and him deserve a break." Said Discord

With a snap of Discord's fingers. Jake and his Pokemon team disappeared with Fluttershy and Audino.

Twilight stepped down her stairs after writing the princess about what had transpired today. She made her way downstairs. She saw that Jake was fast asleep with a book covering his face. He was lightly snoring as he slept. Twilight looked to see Jake's Pokemon all sleeping as was her Axew. She was about to remove the book when she heard a knock on her door. It's nine at night. What pony is knocking at this hour? Twilight approached the door and unlocked it. She opened it to see Mayor Mare.

"Mayor Mare." Said Twilight

"Can we talk." Said Mayor Mare

Twilight stepped out and closed the door and placed a soundproofing spell over the door. She didn't want to disturb the sleeping residents of her house.

"What do you want to talk about?" Asked Twilight

"I want you to tell Jake that everypony of Ponyville is sorry for how we have been treating him." Said Mayor Mare

"Sorry, you're finally sorry after weeks of calling him nothing but a monster. Why now, do you want to be sorry," said Twilight with a hint of anger in her words.

"Because he saved the fillies and colts of Mrs. Cheerilee's school." Said Mayor Mare

"So after weeks of ignoring him and calling him out on being our enemy, you find the truth. He saves the town from Kitty of Team Catastrophe and never used his Pokemon to attack Ponyville, but you only see that he is not our enemy after he saves Ponyville's school. You know Mayor Mare, I was always impressed that this town was able to accept anypony who came in. But the second Jake throws out a Pokemon, Ponyville turns tail at him. So, Mayor Mare, you can tell the ponies of Ponyville, if they want to apologize to Jake, they each come here and apologize to him in person. Don't come asking my friends or me for help because they will tell you the same thing I did." Said Twilight

She turned around and walked into the house. She closed and locked the door with a sigh. She saw Jake still snoozing on the couch. I guess Jake will be staying the couch tonight. Twilight walked up and began to remove the book. She saw that he had fallen asleep reading about Star Swirl the Bearded and his ideas of magic. She placed the book away and brought over a blanket. She placed it over him.

"Sleep tight, Jake." She said

She looked at him as he slept. She gently got up and pressed her lips against his forehead. It made her heart flutter, and her face turned red. Why did I just do that? Twilight pressed her hoof against her face but smiled that she was happy she did it. She knew he would never know and he did deserve a gift for saving the fillies and colts of Mrs. Cheerilee's school.

"Good night Jake, Hero of Equestria." She said

So here is the next chapter. Man, how long have I posted a chapter? Oh well, can;t do anything against having a crazy life.
