Vengeance at nightfall

For the next few hours they discussed the results of the transitions for the dragons, and settled on the idea that Pyrite had thought of. And after they were done with planning what to do, they both got comfortable and took a nap. When they woke up, they both packed up what Nightshade had brought and made their way back to the castle. When they got back, they began to walk towards Nightshade's room, Pyrite constantly keeping an eye out for 32. Things seemed clear on their way there, and Nightshade hesitated while going into her room. But even though she did that, she hadn't seen him, changed into a spider in the corner of the room. And upon her entry, he had crawled down and changed back into himself, a blood filled scar crossing the bridge of his muzzle.

“you know, I thought you weren't going to come back so soon. I figured two days, maybe three but no, you have surprised me yet again princess,”

His velvety voice shook Nightshade right out of her calm focus, and she glanced at the shadowy figure, noticing his grimace.

“I'm not known for being predictable, and I'm definitely not some toy you can lock up and manipulate whenever you please. So get out of my room and stop trying to mount me,”

He didn't seem fazed by her stern reply, and instead, he approached her slowly.

“I came here, thinking that a mare with your amount of stress would be easy to please. But instead, you nearly break my nose twice, yell at me, threaten me and push me away. Well, I'm sick of it, you deserve a little bit of tough love now,”

At hearing this, Nightshade stopped what she was doing and turned to him, lowering her body into a battle stance.

“fucking try it, I've been in fights before and I'm no rookie when it comes to it,”

Pyrite just stared at her, he was about to jump in but hearing how certain she was and how battle ready she seemed made him decide to stay back.

 And within a few seconds, 32 was charging at her, screeching out a war cry as he did. At first, it seemed like he might win: as he sunk his huge fangs into part of her side, all while forcing her down. But Nightshade wasn't as physically weak as he probably assumed, and she proved it by bucking him in the stomach 3 times, and throwing him off her as she got back to her hooves. She was bleeding a lot but no longer phased by it, and with an adrenaline filled body, she launched herself at him while he was still getting up. The force knocking him to the ground, stunning him for just long enough, and Nightshade didn't hesitate to encase his body in umbrum crystals. After getting up and panting at executing the spell, she collapsed and passed out from the blood loss, still reveling in her victory. Almost immediately after she had collapsed, Pyrite grabbed her and took her to the medical ward.
