Decoding Entropy

An analysis of the entity describing itself as 'the master of chaos', found in space at coordinates: [REDACTED]

A strange, chimera-like entity was recently found in the [REDACTED] sector. It appears to be a mix of various species - of interesting note, is that anyone viewing it has remarked it only taking the appearance of species they have seen - even if they have not seen the full compliment of creatures the previous viewer has seen. As a result, its appearance can be different to any viewing it.

It has named itself as 'Discord', remarking that it is the 'Master of Chaos', and at another time that it is the 'Spirit of Chaos'. It shows a number of unique powers, including shifting the gravitational constant, and the breaking of conservation of mass and energy. If the mechanism for these powers is discovered, it could reverse the heat-death of the universe, and save all known life. Discord has given its consent to testing, remarking "you won't be able to make sense of it anyway". A team of the galaxy's most renowned scientists is being gathered to study it.
