Majin Moon: Chapter 1:Monster slaying, It's in the titleView OnlineThe Vidaverse.Majin Moon: Chapter 1:Monster slaying, It's in the titleThe sound of trees cracking, and a thunderous boom that would make a strategic missile proud, rang throughout the everfree. Accompanying it is the sound of a hellfire hydra screeching in pain and rage. "Yeah bitch! That's what'cha get for interrupting my afternoon with Ender!" I quickly trot up to the throat of the last remaining head and glare it down. It glares right back with its red eyes, its volcanic texture dulled from the long battle, but still white hot with rage. It opens its maw, a threatening red glow emanating from its mouth, and fires a wave of red fire. I counter it with my own wave of magenta flames. We stay in a stalemate for who knows how long until... "Hey Vida!" Ender's voice calls out. I grunt a bit, and look down to see Ender standing at the base of the hydras foot, staring straight at me. "Yeah!?" I shout down, straining a bit to keep my flames flowing. Damn. This spell gets really hot after a while. "Do you think you could finish this a little quicker? There's a royal guard down here with a message for you!" he shouts up at me. I groan, and add that extra little bit of punch to my spell. A moment t later the sound of a hydra's head popping like a balloon reaches my ears and I cut off the spell. I look up at my work. Where there once was a raging hydras face, is now a glowing, smoldering stump. I allow myself a small smile of triumph, then hop down onto its belly, and from there to its knees to the ground. "A royal guard with a message you say?" I say, as I trot to where Ender is standing. He had a bubble up it seems. The ground around him is perfectly in tact, opposed to the scorched ground surrounding the ring. "Yeah." Ender turns to look behind a nearby tree. "Sir. This is Vida". I look at him, confused as to why his talking to a tree. Until a 'slightly' shaky guard trots out from behind it into view. He stares at me with wide eyes, "h-how did you defeat that hydra all by yourself?" I grin, and say,"because I'm awesome." We booths stand there a few moments longer. Neither of us saying anything. Okay...well this is getting weird. My smile drops, and I ask, "so you got a message for me?" The guard immediately slips back into the trademark expressionless stare all guards are known for, and pulls out a scroll from his saddle bags. He hoofs me the scroll and I study if for a moment. A wax stamp with a golden sun. That mere image is enough to stew a few emotions in me, but I open it anyway. Dear Vida Emocionate. There has appeared a powerful enemy in saddle Arabia and I fear that I cannot confront this threat due to my duties and the safety of my subjects. Therefore it is with great reluctance that I ask you to travel to saddle Arabia and confront this monster in my stead. You will be compensated appropriately and supplied with anything you may need. And please bring Ender along as well. I believe that your collaborative skills will aid you greatly in this scenario. I await your response. -Monarch of Equestria. Princess Celestia. I stare at it for a few moments longer, before rolling it up and looking to my coltfriend. "Ender?" I say. A suggestive undertone to my voice. "Vida." he replies in an equally suggestive tone. We stare at each other for a few more moments... Then we break into laughs. "Haha, oh boy. So you wanna go slay another world ending monster?" I ask. It's days like this that make me a little less annoyed by life. "Totally. Lets do this!" He raises his hoof in the air. I meet it with a jovial 'high hoof' And were on our ways to gather our respective tools and trinkets before we go to canterlot to meet the princess. All the while we leave a very confused and bewildered guard behind. He stays there for a few moments longer, then looks up at the dead, smoldering corpse of the hydra I just slew. Then he takes off back to canterlot. The heat waves emanating off of the hydra giving him a little extra lift. The next day we find ourselves at canterlot, in a private meeting room with princess Celestia. Apparently the princess didn't want any of her precious little ponies knowing that she was throwing us out into a desert to fight an unholy monster. Pfft. Typical celestia. We got here about ten minutes ago. Celestia sent some chariots to pick us up in the morning. Boy was that a long trip. I swear that was the longest ten minutes of my entire life. Anyway. Here we are now. Listening to Celestia brief us on our mission into the unknown. -"and so that is why I need the two of you to go in my place. I am truly sorry for doing this, but you are the only ones I can turn to right now." I contemplate on this for a mere moment before saying, "so basically what your saying is that you want us to go fight some ancient evil pharaoh queen who used to be one of luna's students some several millennium ago? And that you can’t go fight her because parliament vetoed any idea you gave them involving putting you in direct danger?" I stare her, bemused, as she reluctantly nods her head. We sit there in silence for a seconds before I, with a completely expressionless face, turn to Ender. "Well...what do you wanna do?" I ask. I carefully study his face as he answers my question. "Well, I still say we help out. I mean, there are ponies out there in saddle Arabia who are being tormented by some evil queen right now. You can’t tell me you don't want to help them at all." "I don't want to help them at all." At this, Ender looks at me with a slightly puzzled expression. "And why is that, Vida?" he asks. His eyes boring into me with unspoken words. 'Please don't do this right now Vida' his gaze tells me. I sigh in defeat. Curse you and your magically handsome charms! "Okay. I'll help. But I want ten gold bars and a barrel of cyrodilic spadetails, and abecean longfins." Celestia raises an eyebrow and looks at me like I grew a second horn. "May I ask why?" "Because reasons." This seems to pacify her curiosity, because she knows she's not gonna get an answer out of me. "Okay so we ready to go?" I quickly ask; completely diverting the conversations previous course. "I suppose we should be going pretty soon... You said you would supply us on our journey, princess?" Ender asked. Celestia smiles and says, "yes, I have some guards stationed outside the doors, they will take you wherever you need to gather supplies. Anything you may need." Ender smiles as well, but something tells me it's more out of the "Anything you may need" comment more than anything. "Thank you, your highness." Ender does a little bow, then gets up off the cushion he was sitting on. I get up to, and follow him to the door. Just before he opens the door I look back at Celestia and say one last comment, then trot out of the room with Ender. Unseen by anypony, Celestia shivers after we leave and whispers something under her breathe. "So, what are we gathering for our heroic adventure to save Equestria, Ender?" I ask, looking over to the stallion in question. He looks over to me with a huge grin on his face and a gleam in his eyes. "Well...I was thinking we stop by the armory first, you know, to see what our options are. Just a something small, maybe a grenade or two." I look over to him with a raised eyebrow. "You know they don't have grenades here right? In fact there's only, like, one pony in all of Equestria who actually makes those things." I chuckle a little to myself at his shocked expression. "Oh...yeah. I forgot." he says, hanging his head and looking embarrassed. I look over at him, a little sympathy slipping into my mirth. Ender has always taken his facts and assumptions with such reverence; I'm just now noticing how it affects him when he's called out on something he's wrong on. I purse my lips together as I think whether or not is should I should say something to cheer him up. I'm shaken out of my thoughts when a I hear the sound of heavy metal door opening. I look back to see a large, and very Grey room. Every corner of the room was lined with armor, weapons, and other miscellaneous items that I have never seen. "This is the armory, I have been instructed to aid you if you may need any help here." the guard says. He then stations himself right at the entrance of the large, vault-like doors. I look back over at Ender to see his usual bright smile has returned. We both trot into the armory, eyes wide with wonder. So. Many. Weapons! I rush over to the nearest wall, browsing its wares. "Hmm...." my excitement dies down a little as I scan the walls. Gold armor, gold armor, gold armor. Jeez. How much gold armor do these guys need? In my search for something non-monotonous I finally spot something different. I trot over to the slightly smaller set of armor, casting a quick spell to 'read' it. "Interesting" I say, continuing to stare at the intricate armor. It was gold, like everything else, but had small silver gilded lines forming intricate patterns and swirls on the armor. In the center, unlike the stars on guards armor, was a bright rubellite gem. It also had a pointed visor on the winged helmet, and smooth gold plates running down the forelegs and hind legs. According to my magic scan, this "Hieratic armor" protects the wearer from the natural elements, while also enhancing reaction time and natural aptitude. And also augments magic ability by at least ten percent. It was, all things considered, a very round armor. I make a mental checklist to come back to this armor if nothing else suffices, then moved on. Meanwhile, Ender is gazing up at a pair of bulky silver armor. It's apparently called "paladin armor" and was worn by some heroic knight of Celestia in the days long past. He hums in approval, and decides to fit it on. "Hm...a little heavy." Ender tests his movement in the full body armor. "But it will do." Ender then trots out of the vault to talk with the guard about the armors mechanics, and to wait on me. Fortunately, I just happened to find a very nice pair of armor tucked away in a far, dark corner of the armory. As I gaze up at the glowing armor I grin devilishly. "Oh yeah...I think this will do." "So all I have to do is focus on the engravings and it will activate?" I ask the guard. He nods, "yes, it is a very complicated spell matrix designed by Miss Magnus herself. It's made to be battle ready no matter what your state is." I have to admit. I'm already starting to feel quite attached to this armor...figuratively speaking. I'm interrupted when I hear the heavy thudding sound of metal shod hooves on stone. I look over to see Vida standing in the doorway, a...very interesting red armor covering her every feature. The armor, in all honesty, looks absolutely hellish. It has a large crimson plate armor, jagged at the edges. Smaller darker plates stack on top of each other lining down her forelegs and hind legs, and a few plates running off the top of her tail. Large red spikes jut out of the shoulders, and the visor on the helmet looks like hell itself is gazing at me. "Well, what do you think?" Vida's voice says sweetly from behind the demonic visor. I purse my lips for a second, taking in the whole look. I look around me, noting all the guards expressions. It ranged from the usual stoic faces, to ones of unease and one of pure terror. I look back to the patiently waiting Vida, staring intently at me through the glowing visor. "...it looks very nice on you Vida. But I don't think That's quite what we're aiming for. Remember that we're heading straight into the heart of a desert and, unless the armor has a cooling enchantment, I don't think that would be the best choice." I word carefully. "Awww!" Vida whines. The image looking quite disturbing in such an armor. "Don't worry Vida, we can claim the armor after our mission." The guard next to me opens his mouth, likely to argue the topic. But a quick, cold stare causes it to die in his throat. "Okay, but you owe me. This armor would have been so boss in a boss battle!" Vida huffs and trots off back into the armory, heat waves little rolling off of her as she marches off. I turn back to the guard next to me, but stop as I see him staring at me with wide eyes. "She doesn't really mean what she said does she?" he asks. I contemplate giving him the "because its Vida" explanation, but then again, maybe a setting full of guards isn't the best of places to say that. So I settle on a gentle smile and say, "of course not. She just likes to collect cool stuff." This seems to have the pacifying effect I intended, and we both go back to waiting on Vida to finish arming herself. About five minutes pass and Vida trots back out. This time wearing the Hieratic armor.(excluding the golden shoes) "This better?" Vida asks with a bemused smirk. I smile and nod, "much better." She nods back. "So we ready to go yet?" Vida asks, excited to start the journey. "Not yet Vida," I say, chuckling at her enthusiasm, " we still gotta pack the supplies remember?" Vida groans, but agrees anyway. So eager. That's what I like about her though. I talk to the guard and soon were on our way to the to gather supplies. A half an hour, and ten minutes of arguing over essentials, later and we are riding on a chariot, again, on our way to the border of Saddle Arabia so we don't have to travel all that distance on hoof. Though one could argue the former would be better as I tap my hooves with impatient energy. “How much longer are we gonna be up here Ender? If i wait any longer my hooves are gonna fall off!” I shout for the hundredth time. Ender, ever the image of patience, just smiles at me and says, “Only a little longer Vida, we're almost there.” I just groan, and hook my hooves around the side of the chariot to see where we are. Well at least there's sand now. Finally. The guard next to me taps me on the shoulder to get me attention. I look back at him with a slight glare, silently promising pain if he bothers me again. For the hundredth time. The guard points to the front of the chariot, where our “Flight attendant” is about to make an announcement. “We are about to arrive at Saddle Arabia’s border, please prepare all of your equipment and be ready to depart”, the guard says. Than he turns back around, staring into the sea of dunes approaching us. I sigh, “FINALLY.” “Ya getting itchy hooves Vida?” Ender asks jokingly. I turn and smile at him, “Yeah, you could say that.” A few moments later we land on an earthy terrain, just before we reach the sea of sand only a few minutes trot away. The first thing i notice when i get here: It's HOT. Now i'm glad i didn't bring that Hellgear with me. I'd fry out here if i had. So gathering our saddlebags and large packs, Ender and I both leave the confinement of the chariot and start our journey into the unknown dangers of the desert. Author's Note Things stirr up. P.S. this is ONE of my original works, probably a work in progress, like these note...things.
Majin Moon: Interlude 1: DuskView OnlineThe Vidaverse.Majin Moon: Interlude 1: DuskFrom the dark entrance of the Zealous ruins, a dark figure emerges. The figure is tall, at least as tall as celestia, and carries herself with a sense of authority. The shadows clinging to her drip off of her coat in rivers, as if it were wet paint, seemingly evaporating into the wind. She gazes at her surroundings, slowly taking them in with her luminous turquoise eyes. Surrounding her, are the dark shadows and buildings of a once beautiful city. Buildings that she remembers so clearly. When she does not find any sign of life, she moves on to the next part of the crumbled city. She scans her surroundings carefully, no detail slipping past her gaze. Right as she is about to pass two large columns leading to another part of the ruins, she stops in her tracks. Looking back, her eyes lock on a far off wall. She slowly walks over to the wall, never taking her eyes off of its ancient hieroglyphs. Her eyes slowly scan the markings, taking them in with a reminiscent gaze. Ruined depictions of a tall winged unicorn gracing her subjects with her wisdom and guidance dance across the cracked and broken walls, continuing until the meet at the tomb, lying now empty, in the back of the room. Her eyes glance back at the wall, but she does not linger. Seemingly finished scanning the wall, the dark unicorn turns around and exits through the tall stone columns. What's on the other end of the columns is another large room, connected to two halls to either side. The unicorn looks over both of them, working her memory, before taking the left. She continues this pattern several dozen times before finally reaching the outside again. Moonlight spills over the sand dusted land, illuminating the ancient and crippling buildings. The pony, taking all of this in, looks up to the sky. The full moon reflects in her blue eyes, an unreadable expression flashing across her face for a moment, before she returns to a more neutral expression. Looking back down over the ruined landscape, the pony walks down the steps of the large, slate, zealous temple and stops when her hooves sink into the cool sand. She looks down at her hooves with a confused expression, lifting the hoof and checking it. Studying the odd feeling of sand on her hooves. She gazes at the sand more closely, an inquisitive intelligence flashing in her eyes. She extends a small magical wisp, filling the object, but relaying mundane information. sediments. She snorts dismissively, looking back up and continuing her trek. She takes long, slow strokes through the ruined city. Gazing at every building she passes as if she expects them to hold something long forgotten secret. But she finds nothing. No ponies, no statues... As she realizes these things the pony stops in her tracks. She looks around her, seemingly in some round plaza with a large dry fountain in the center, and takes a deep breathe. A turquoise glow wraps around her spiraling horn like silk strands on a spinning wheel, as she concentrates on a spell. The glow grows brighter and thicker as she pumps more concentration into the spell, then... A large pulse surges through the entire city. Washing over buildings and plants like a gentle wave stroked by the moon. It doesn't stop at the borders of the city either, as it reaches beyond the dead land. It washes over miles and miles of sand and dust... Until it reaches another city. She opens her eyes briefly, eyes pulsing in the night as images of a bright city fill her vision. Ponies frolicked and play in the streets, while cubical sandstone buildings tower from the ground. Information continues to flood her mind, images, and sounds, and so many things. Until she has had enough. She closes her eyes for a second, cutting off the spell. When she opens them again, then no longer glow with a brilliance that fills the night. But rather glow with a soft shade, like a lamp turned down for more comfort in the embrace of darkness. The pony takes one more scan of her surroundings, then disappears in a shower of turquoise sparks. My heart pounds in my ears as I race down the aisles. Ponies, stalls, and stands pass me in a blur as I gallop faster and faster. I need to get to there now! I'm on the clock right now. Dammit I wish I had a horn, than I wouldn't have to race through this whole city just to get to the capitol. I quickly duck under a beam two ponies were carrying, narrowly missing clocking myself. “Whew, that was clo- OSE!” Out of nowhere, I crash into another pony, sending us both sliding across the dirt. “Ugh...jeez, watch where your- Moira!?” The voice shouts in surprise. I slowly get back up with a grunt, holding my head as I look up to see a familiar, concerned, face staring back at me. “Amber? What are you doing out here? I thought you were meeting with the foreign ministers right now.” Amber, being the Minister of foreign affairs she is, started to panic again, also triggering my panic again. Yay! Panic party. “I AM! I was busy making sure my brother didn't burn down the house and then realized the time. Why are you in such a hurry?” she asks, jittering a bit with nervous energy. I pause at this, as that sense of dread that was looming over me came back in full force. I look around quickly, making sure nopony was listening in, then lean in and quietly ask her, “Do you remember Carma’s old prophecy?” Amber, ever the inquisitive mare she is, drops all of her nervous energy to ask, “You mean your ancestor who said the end of the world was coming?” I nod quickly, than ask, “And what date did it say “she” would return?” I ask pointedly, becoming more and more self conscious of the time i've spent talking to my friend. Her eyes widen when she connects the dots. “Wait...do you believe the prophecy?” She asks, only ever having half believed the old mare's tale, but still cautious of it. What!? Does she seriously not grasp the seriousness of this prophecy? Why won't anypony believe me when I tell them the end of the world is coming? … Oh. yeah I guess that makes sense. I shake my head to clear my thoughts, looking back at the cautious looking Amber. “Amber please,” I beg”, this is serious. I need you to warn the foreign ministers of the danger. Please Amber, you're the only one that can do this for me!” My nerves are getting the better of me by now, and i'm sure I look crazy. But dammit, I have to convince her to evacuate the ministers. My heart sinks when she looks back at me with uncertainty. “Moira, you need to calm down and think about thi-” “Amber listen to me-” “No Moira, listen to yourself. It's just a prophecy Moira. The end of the world is NOT coming. So you need to calm down and think about what it is you're doing. Okay?” I can't believe this. My best friend is sitting here telling me that my ancestors prophecy is a joke. That she doesn't believe me! Well, with or without her help I still have an obligation to save this city. I back away from Amber slowly, shaking all over and holding back tears. “Moira?” Amber asks, concern lacing her voice. I bolt off, straight to the capitol. I hear Amber call after me in the distance, but I don't stop. I can't stop. As I gallop down the aisles and roads I silently pray to Faust that I’m not too late already. _____________________________________________________________________________ In a burst of turquoise light, and a shower of sparks, the dark unicorn reappears, startling all the ponies nearby. Immediately, the unicorn begins to take in it's surroundings. A well decorated room at least fifty by fifty long and wide, with Chairs set up in a large acr on either side.(all filled mind you.) Banners hung from walls depicting strange symbols that the unicorn instantly dubbed as “new Arabic.” “What is the meaning of this!?” Booms a loud voice. The unicorn turns to see, at the largest table in the room, a tall brown stallion with a slick blonde mane looking down at her. Judging by his blue garments and larger stature he appears to be of higher office. “And who clepe us?” the unicorn ask in her archaic tongue. Her voice reverberates, feeling as though she were talking directly into their very souls. Everypony present, except for the unicorn and the stallion addressed, shiver at the haunting voice. “I am Haakim, prince of Saddle Arabia, and counselor of this meeting, which you so rudely interrupted.” The unicorn's eyes, just barely noticeably, slightly narrow as the glow in her eyes increases just a notch. “Do not rede us stallion, we are the queen Majin, thou would do well to learn thy place.” She threatens subtly. Haakim’s eyes go wide for a moment, before settling in a deep frown. “Majin? As in Majin Moon? You expect me to believe that you're the mythical unicorn from Carmin lore?” He asks disbelievingly. Haakim snorts, then calls out, “Guards!” Instantly, four guards, all with sandy coats and orange eyes, march into the room, saluting Haakim. His eyes never leave Majin as he addresses them, “Please escort “Miss Moon” off the estate and hold her for questioning.” The guards immediately move to detain the odd unicorn. Majin’s eyes follow them with a hard gaze and begin to glow a bright turquoise. Suddenly, the shadows in the corners of the room leap from their spots and ensnare the guards, wrapping around them as a thick liquidy substance, completely immobilizing them. “Thou would be wise not to swink in yon superiors matters, stallion”, she says, her haunting voice chilling the very air as the guards began to scream and panic. The shadows ensnaring the guards begin to constrict around their throats and legs, causing them to haplessly squirm for their lives as they suffocate. “Stop!” a random voice calls out. Majin calmly looks over to her right to see a blue mare in an ornate purple dress staring at her with pleading eyes. “Please,” she begs, glancing over at the writhing guards, “They were only following orders!” The shadows do not loosen, as the guards panicing began to slow down. “It matters not to us, thy sublime ruler hast faulted and lain yon lives on the line.” “Please, I’ll do anything!” the mare begs, eyes beginning to mist over as she watches the four ponies suffer. The shadows slowly ease, allowing the guards to breathe, as Majin stares directly into the eyes of the pleading mare with her own glowing orbs. “Bow to me.” “W-what?” she asks, taken aback by the sudden odd request. Majins eyes harden, and the shadows begin to constrict again. “Stand before thou queen, and pledge thy loyalty to us. then we shall cease their suffering.” Her eyes demand obedience, cold unquestioned obedience. “Or their lives shalt be forfeit.” This news sent a chill of terror down her spine, eyes going wide as she hears this. The mare looks around her nervously, noting all eyes were on her. Than, swallowing the lump in her throat, she steps down from her platform. Trotting cautiously to stand before the taller unicorn, and slowly lowers her head to the floor. Struggling to hold back tears. Everypony gasps as the mare bows, groveling, to the tall unicorn. Majin’s eyes return to normal as the shadows suddenly evaporate into the air, leaving four unconscious guards lying on the floor. As soon as she releases them, the mare snaps to attention and gallops over to them, hugging one to her chest and letting tears flow. “Brother, i’m so sorry, i'm so so sorry!” the mare bleats, hugging him even closer. Majin turns back around to address Haakim, who now bore a scowl towards the pony. “What do you want?” Haakim asks, loathing clear in his voice. Majin contemplates his question, formulating a clear response that leaves no questions asked. Majin locks eyes with Haakim as her eyes begin to glow a deep turquoise. Suddenly, Haakim’s eyes glow the same, a look of bewilderment replacing his earlier scowl. In his eyes, years long forgotten flash before his mind, each one leaving a lasting impression in his psyche. Images of a much older Saddle Arabia, images of hundreds of ponies and a utopian city...images of Princess Luna ruling over them, and beside her a young blue unicorn with aqua eyes. Suddenly, the images stop, and Haakim gasps as he starts breathing again; the turquoise glow leaving his eyes. “what we want…” All eyes focus on the tall unicorn as spools of arcane energy lace her horn in a vortex. “Is Arabia.” The two words echo with ancient power, shaking their very fibers. A sudden flash of turquoise as bright as the sun is the last thing anypony sees before plunging into an abyss of unending darkness. I skid to a stop as a wall of blue power washes over me like a tsunami wave, nearly toppling me onto my back. The wave, the magic...it felt like an unending blackness, and sent chills down my spine. I look up towards the capitol building, noting the complete silence that emanated from it. It was a silence you could hear. I note, as I stand paralyzed where I stand, a dark figure calmly trotting out of the front of the building. Everything beyond the lights touch was complete darkness. A wall of black where mere shadow should have stood. And it oozed off her coat as if it was some sick liquefied shadow. I'm not the only one who noticed either, the entire city has fallen silent and are staring at the dark figure as she comes closer and closer. “Who is that?” I hear one pony say from nearby. “What's going on? Is this an event?” another, masculine voice asks. Soon the entire city is alive as ponies murmur to themselves. But I don't have to guess who it is. My ancestor had already prophesied it, and now it has finally come true. Ponies begin to part ways, sticking side-by-side, hair-to-hair as they watch the unicorn with mixed expressions. ...the tall unicorn stops in a round plaza a few yards away; a bubbling fountain in its center Her icy glowing eyes wash over all of us with a calculating gaze. For some reason, I duck just before her gaze would flick over me. A sigh of relief washing over me for some odd reason. As she finishes scanning the crowd her horn flares to life, turquoise strands whipping around her like moonlight. “Citizens of Saddle Arabia!” Her magically augmented voice booms over the city, chilling the soul of everypony as her haunting voice reverberates in them. “whosoever shall gaze hither may realize yon whilom queen's return!” Slowly, I begin to slink back, never taking my eyes off the imposing unicorn as I back trot away from the scene. “Bow before us now,True ruler to Arabia and scion of dusk!” The unicorn's voice carries a haunting tune that chills, the fountain gaining frost at its edges. It is a declaration rather than a question, this much I am certain, as I gaze fearfully at the dark pony. But nopony bows before the queen. The stillness persists, and the Unicorn’s expression darkens as her glowing eyes sweep over the crowd once more. Ponies flinch back as her gaze washes over them once more. Her gaze lands on the pony nearest to her, and everypony watches as the tall unicorn slowly approaches her. "Bow before thou queen." she says in an authoritative tone. The pony was a bright sunburst color, with orange shaded hooves and an expression of flippancy etched on her face. "Why should I bow to you?" she asks with levity. The queen’s eyes narrow and a flash a bright turquoise. "thou WILL bow before us." The pony locks eyes with her and, with her body trembling as if she wanted to move, her eyes glow a steady blue. She gazes at her with an expression of pure terror, before slowly slumping. All traces of emotion drain from her face, and she appears hollow and cold. Everypony watches in awe and fear as the now emotionless pony dips her head at the queen in a bow. Majin, seeming nonplused by her action, turn to the staring crowd once again. A cold merciless stare being shot right back at them. “Hear us now Arabians.” she begins; strands of magic swirling around her horn. A sharp chill pierces the air, and the light seems to dim in the sky. “A new era shalt forsooth descend upon thee, and thou will all see us as thou new Queen!” The magic around her horn excellerates, and frost begins to form on my hooves and coat. I quickly shake it off and puff out a steam cloud. “Our era begins today!” The magic peaks, and a pulse of turquoise magic splashes over us like a tidal wave. Some ponies shout as it washes over them, and i hold up a hoof to shield my eyes; but when I open my eyes again, All the effects of her magic had been purged. The fountain was once again free of frost, but a lingering chill still tinged the air. Everypony is silent, the only sound coming from the freely flowing fountain. The unicorn looks around again after her proclamation, seeing fearful faces, but still finds no recognition in the faces of the crowds. Feeling insulted, as if history had just forgotten about her, the unicorn frowns ever so slightly. “who are we?” She asks in a low tone, with just the mildest drop irritation showing through. “Y-your…,”I gulp, looking around me at all the ponies that are now staring,” Your...Majin Moon.” Everypony gasps at that. Some begin to whisper to themselves as the rest just stare in stunned silence. Majin, however shows the first sign of joy in her otherwise cold demeanor, and spares the slightest of smiles. “Ah, a herald of our coming. Tis truly touching.” she says, walking over towards me. “What is thy name, young mare?” She’s now towering over me. Her imposing gaze seemingly boring into my soul. I struggle with my words, and her face hardens back into a frown. “I-I'm Moira.” Majin seems to think about something for a moment, then says, “Moira? How humorous that thou name would fit this day.” With those final parting words, Majin trots back to the center of the plaza, the previously frozen over fountain catching her attention for a moment as she examines the effects. Meanwhile, i’m catching up on the near heart attack that I had narrowly missed when she was standing over me. “It's true…” I whisper to myself. Without a second thought, I charge back into the crowd, my destination is no longer the capitol, it's clear I won't find anything there...at all No, I've got to find Amber and find a way out of this nightmare before Majin plants her hooves too far into the city. Author's Note hmmm...I wonder if this will play a part in the next part? oh well. majin Moon is just an alicorn raised all powerful unicorn. no biggy
Majin Moon: Chapter 2: Desert Excursion.View OnlineThe Vidaverse.Majin Moon: Chapter 2: Desert Excursion. The sand burns and sizzles under the bare frogs of my hooves. My armor glows, radiating the heat of the harsh sun. Heat waves dance around me like vultures waiting to claim their prey. But through it all, the heat, the sand, the burning sun, i smile. You know why? Because not a single one of these ailments are affecting me right now. “Dang Ender. You were right. If i didn't have this Hieratic armor on right now i'd probably being baking in these dunes.” I chuckle a bit at my own fortune. These searing dunes aren't going to be claiming THIS pony anytime soon. “Yeah, it's also a good thing that one of the guards gave me this weathering charm before I left. I really should have thought about the climate before I chose this armor.” Ender says from beside me. We’ve been travelling these dunes for the past five hours now, and haven't seen a single living thing since. Unless you count the occasional cactus or [bouncing bush]. “Hey Ender.” “Yes Vida?” “Why do you think one of luna’s old proteges would just magically resurrect from the dead and start terrorizing a city? I mean, seriously, if that were the case wouldn't this place be shrouded in darkness?” Ender turn to me and gives me, “The look”. “Now Vida, that's some pretty biased thinking don't you think?” I furrow my brows in confusion. “Biased my ass, what about Luna?” “What about Luna?” Ender asks. A little sternness in his voice. I don't know, how about the fact that she tried plunging Equestria into eternal darkness? Or that every other dark villain happens to have a fetish for bringing total darkness? “Nothing…” I finally settle on saying. Why is it so hard to win an argument with that stallion? With any other pony I could just threaten them with a horrible painful death and be over with it. But with Ender...why is he different? I look over at the stallion in question, as he calmly trots along the sandy dunes. An objective clear in his eyes. I look back straight ahead as we continue our trek. We continue that way for a few more hours, talking all the way about what saddle Arabia's current “Predicament” will look like and how we plan to epically pone this new Villain. I was just starting to piece together a good game plan when, suddenly, I feel a shift in the sand. Immediately, sharp as a well honed blade, I stop talking and scan my surroundings. “Vida? What is it-” Ender starts to say. I quickly shush him. I feel the sand shift again, my hooves sinking about an inch in the displaced sand. I back up a few steps, Ender getting the message that something was wrong. And then I finally catch it. A large, rolling dune of sand moving in circles around us like a shark stalking it's prey. With deadly intention, I crouch down and charge my horn. An augmented magenta blaze engulfing it and sending shadows dancing around me. The vibrations continue to grow until they congregate on one point. Suddenly a huge Sand Worm bursts from the sand, heading straight for me. In the blink of an eye I release my volatile payload right into the open maw of the giant monster. It explodes with a concussive force, a cloud of sand being blown away in a powerful shockwave. I lower my hoof from my face, where I had been shielding my face from sand, to see the monster gone. ...where the hell did it go!? I look around frantically, searching for any sign of my would-be monster trophy. Even if i don't get to hang it's head on my wall (In my underground trophy room) I could still use it's alchemical ingredients! “Vida, Are you okay?” I hear Ender say. “Yeah!” I shout out, now trying to find Ender in this haze of sediments. I extend my magic and give a small pulse, quickly finding Ender...and the worm The thing was quickly inching it's way over to the oblivious stallion. “Ender! Shield up!” I shout out, quickly charging my horn. “What, why??” he shouts back. “Just do it!” Ender doesn't question it a second time, instead he brings his shield bubble up. And not a moment too late as a magenta bolt flies right by him, exploding a mere hoofs distance away. Out of the explosion the worm bursts to the surface again, a large burn mark on it's side. “SSSCCRAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!” It's powerful roar blows away the sand cloud that had gathered, and gives us a clear view of the gigantic monster. It stands at least six stories, and is covered in row after row of thick plates. It's maw is absolutely filled with sharp, pointy teeth. And an acidic looking soliva flows from it's mouth in a thick, gooey stream. I take in it's appearance for a few more seconds, than smile. “Thank you Faust!” I shout to the heavens above. Than leap into the air Firing off a volley of magenta lasers. This is exactly what i've been wanting, a giant deadly monster to hone my skills! The worm screeches as it's shell is impacted with a stream of magic lasers. As I land back on my hooves the worm takes a chance and whips its tail out. The sand beneath me gives, and I am once again airborne as it tosses me into the sky with its tail. I twist and turn in the air, then finally right myself in mid air. Only to look down at an open and waiting maw. “Oh fuc-” The monster swallows me whole, a satisfied hum filling the air. While Ender just stands there, wide eyed. He drops his shield and aims his horn at the worm. But he isn't thinking of just shooting it. No. Ender fires a single long ray at the worm. In less than a second the worm is trapped in a huge seven story bubble. It rages as it slams into the bubbles surface, but pauses when a single, steadily growing light appears in its body. The next moment the worm is frantically beating against the dome, trying and failing to free itself before it- BOOOOOOOMMMMMM The entire dome lights up with a bright, blinding pink. A silent quake shaking the sands beneath his hooves as his bubble absorbs the shockwave. As soon as the light dies down, he drops the shield and gallops over to where it once was. “Vida?” Ender calls out. A loud puff catches his attention, and he turns to see me dragging myself out of a large hole in the ground. “WOOO! Let's do that again!” I Shout. Just a tad drunk off of the nuclear amount of energy i just absorbed in a few split seconds. I collapse on the smoldering sand, laughing my ass off. “Damn that was awesome…*Huff*...You should totally try it some time.” Ender trots up to me and helps me back to my hooves. “Yeah...maybe when we're not trying to save the world. But right now we gotta get going again. It's going to get dark soon and we're gonna have to continue on all night.” Still giggling, I shakily make my way onto my hooves and look over at him with a goofy, unfocused grin. “Oh come on buddy! Like the cold is gonna hurt us with these weather talismans.” Ender just laughs at my antics and turns around to continue our journey, briefly pulling out a compass to right our path. I don't really pay much attention to that, and just follow him out of the crater. Wow. getting hit with this much energy at one time gets me more drunk then that party Vanilla Wafer threw a few weeks ago. I shake the thought, and just continue to follow my awesome companion. ______________________________________________________________________________ Over the course of two more hours, and a seismic discharge into the sky, I feel a lot better. At least as much as one can in a desert. The sun is STILL blazing in the sky. And were still walking. “Ender i'm tired...can't we stop walking for five minutes?” Ender looks back over at me, an amused grin on his face. “I suppose so. We've been at it for...what? Nine hours? Yeah let's stop and get a drink.” We both sit down and Ender searches through our bags for the canteens. As soon as its in my hooves, I greedily gulp it down. Reveling in the feeling of cool water trailing down my throat. Sweet Faust, water has never tasted so good! As I finish drinking I hoof the canteen back to Ender, and he puts it back in our bags. Then gets back up, pulling out his compass. “Whelp.Time to get going again!” Ender says cheerily. I look over at him in disbelief. Mouth agape. “You have got to be shitting me. That didn't even last five minutes.” Ender looks back over at me. That amused grin still on his face. “Well the quicker we get there, the quicker we can get back. And i was thinking there was a little extra something I wanted to give you when we got back.” The way he said that last bit sent pleasant shivers down my back. “Oh really?” I saw, shooting my own grin back at him. “Well Why didn't you say that before hoof you silly pony. In that case let's get going!” We both chuckle a bit then continue on. But before we can even take five steps I hear another sound, coming from far away. A loud howl, like a raging wind. Another one? I turn to look in the distance, but what I see is something far worse than a giant worm. No. In the distance I could see something I knew better than to underestimate. A huge column of sand swirls in a raging vortex. Spanning at least a mile wide. “Vida we've got to move. Now.” I don't argue and, instead, turn and gallop off in the opposite direction as fast as my hooves could carry me. Though the loud howling of the sandstorm only gets louder and louder. I risk a glance behind me, and immediately regret it. A giant rock, at least twenty by twenty wide, flies out of the vortex, heading straight for Ender. Acting out of pure instinct I rush over and ram into Ender, sending us both sprawling out into the sand as the giant rock impacts just where Ender just was. “Ender are you okay!?” I shout, the wind having picked up in those few short seconds. “Yeah! Let's get out of here. Quick!” Ender makes to get up but finds his hooves slipping from beneath him. I try to help him back up, but I too slip off my hooves. We both quickly look behind us, at the sand being sucked towards the huge wall of wind now mere yards away from use like a vacuum Thinking quickly, and running on seconds of time, Ender makes one last ditch effort to avoid being swallowed by the storm. His horn glows a bright green, surrounding both of us as we gaze into the wall of destruction. Just before the vortex hits us I see a green dome start to form around me then… Author's Note R.I.P. giant sand wurm, your death shall totally be in vein.
Majin Moon. Chapter 3: the CaravanView OnlineThe Vidaverse.Majin Moon. Chapter 3: the Caravan"Mmm..." I wake up. I feel so weird. Like i just sat in aloe and Lotus’s hot tub for a week straight. I feel something warm on me, and bring a hoof up to my forehead to find a wet rag below the base of my horn. Why do I have a wet rag on my face? I try to open my eyes, but regret it immediately after. So instead, I bring my forehooves back and try to push myself up. But a firm hoof hold me down. "Ah ah ah, lie still now." I hear a voice say. I feel the wet rag lifted off my face, and replaced with a cool one. I would have asked why I was here, but a bottle was pressed on my lips. Without thinking, I begin to drink. Sweet moist water trailing down my throat. Sweet, holy Celestia that feels good. "We thought you dead, traveler." I hear her say, as I finally begin to sit up. Damn I feel so weak. "Generally when finding two unicorns half buried under sand its more abound arranging to contact their kin." Her voice was lilting, a calm cadence to her voice. I finally sit up and open my eyes, squinting a little from the light. Standing over me is a Turquoise mare with a red, gilded headband on her forehead. Her darker blue mane partially hung off the edges of her face in bangs And she wore large, round rings on her ears. She was the spitting image of a saddle Arabian. At this is jump onto my hooves and quickly trot outside the tent. ...only to find a sea of dunes. Wait...what? But then why is she here? Why am I here? I rush back into the tent to come nose to nose with the now very alert mare. "What happened? Where am I? Whereas Ender!?" The turquoise mare gently pulls me back onto the small cot, shushing me quietly the entire time. That's gonna get annoying fast. "Calm, calm. Now I know you might be confused, but you're safe here dearie." "I found you and yer friend a short time ago. And the two of you have been resting up since." She says, like a mother trying to calm her child. For some reason I can't focus on that usually annoying detail. My mind is buzzing like the changeling queen is hovering over my head. "Now, try not to move to much, you hear? You've suffered heat exhaustion and need to get some water in ya before you even think of trying to go back outside. At this, she pulls out a canteen and hoofs it to me. I greedily snatch it from her hooves and chug it faster then a stallion at a beer contest. "Ah...", I sigh as I feel the refreshment working through my system. I look back to her again, mind much more clear now. But still a hell of a lot confused. "So where am I now?" I ask. I'm not really thinking about how we got caught by that- Oh! Yes. Now I remember. Some crazy sandstorm blew up and hit us before Ender could bring up a shield. Hmm...wonder why that doesn't concern me more? Must be the heat exhaustion. “So...who are you?” "I’m Zaimare, the headmaster of this caravan.." "Okay..." Zaimare... "Where's Ender?" I ask, a little concern slipping into my voice. "Ya mean you're black fellow? He's in the tent next to us. He woke up just not too long ago, maybe three minutes before you." At this I bolt out of the tent again, this time turning and heading into another tent right beside mine. Inside, still laying on his cot, was Ender. He looked up at me at my arrival. A small smile on his face. "Ender!" I jump on him, hugging him tight Then drop it with a peck on his lips. "Vida! How are you fairing? Did Zaimare tell you how we got here. "I'm doing fine, and yes. But that doesn't really matter much now does it. We still gotta get to Arabia and get rid of the pest invading the place." Ender looks at me weird when I say that. "What? No Vida. We’re in no shape to travel. Yet alone slay a monster." I huff at this, and sit on my flank next to his cot. "C'mooon!" I whine. But Ender remains adamant, standing firm on his decision. I sigh as I relent. "Fine". We sit there in silence for a few short moments, before Zaimare trots in. "Ah Vida. Please do not rush off like that, even this little trek can spell disaster." she says in a concerned voice. I just glance her way, my usual neutral attitude already taking shape. "It's not like i'm one of your little ponies, Zaimare. You don't have to treat me like one." I say sourly. She seems a little hurt by that, but Ender quickly rises. "Thank you for your concern, Zaimare. We truly appreciate all you are doing." That little statement brings her gentle smile back. “Thank you, Ender.” She says in her lilting tone. We stand there for a while, none of us saying anything. ...why did she come in here if she didn't have anything to say? This silence is getting awkward... Huffing in impatience I turn to Zaimare to get something done. “So, Where's our stuff? I assume you found us in some canterlot grade armor, I hope you recovered those to.” Zaimare looks over at me in thought for a moment, before an exclamation mark appears above her head and she smiles widely. “Why yes! We weren't sure where to keep them so Silver Tongue offered to hold onto them.” Silver Tongue...what a lovely, innocent name. “So, where can I find this “Silver Tongue” if I might ask?” Ender looks over at me with a pointed glance, but I just roll my eyes at him in disregard. Zaimare, however, doesn't seem to mind or notice,”He usually carries in as the fourth to the back, In a large cart with a yellow tarp over it.” She says in an instructional tone, as if she were a tour guide. “I can guide you there if you need?”, She says with a big, eager smile. I’m about to retort, that I don't need her babysitting me, but Ender beats me to the chase. “Thank you, Headmaster, I’m sure Vida can find him on her own.” “yeah...I think i’m good.” I trot out of the tent and look around, finally taking actual notice of where I am. Other than the miles of featureless sand, there are several large and small carts parked in a line behind the two tents set up here. I could probably say the count was somewhere around twelve if the one in the back with a banner waving Is at the end. I idly wonder what a blue flag with an a pair of wings would symbolize, but shrug it off and decide to ask somepony about it later, for now I need to find this Silver Tongue guy and get our stuff back; We’re gonna bake out here without our weather talismans, I don't know how they do it. Especially when some of them actually wear clothes. Just thinking about that brings me back to the blistering heat beating on my back, and I’m briefly thankful that I’m naked, else I would really be baking out here. I may be a monster slayer, but I’m just not built for this weather. With that last thought, I trudge on through the line of carts. After about half a minute, I finally spot it. A larger wooden plated cart with a yellow tarp over its top and what could only be described as a “Crib” on the side, acting as a residence for the grey pony sleeping there. Not seeing many options other then “Politely ask him to wake up”, I trot right up to him, and Violently shake him awake without a second thought. Let's throw caution to the wind, nopony needs it anyway. It works, obviously, and he sits up with a start, pulling a shiv from somewhere around his barrel. “Wha- who are you!?” I stare at him bemusedly, causally disarming him in one quick motion, then smiling sweetly at him. “Hey there Silver, your headmaster told me that you...offered to hold onto Ender and I’s armor, so i've come to collect it if you don't mind.” His mind seems to be running at half a mile an hour, and it takes him a moment to register what I said. “Wait, are you one of the two ponies we found buried in the sand?” At my nod he continues, “Oh, well...I guess I’m happy to see your up and active. As for your armor I kept it safe riiight in here…” Silver, who I know know is a pegasus as he flexes his wings, Gets up from his little cot, and dips his head behind it, opening something so well hidden that it escaped my constant magic radar. “Here, these the ones?”, He pulls out the Paladin armor and my Hieratic armor and holds them out to me. “...and the talismans, and our supplies?” He hoofs over the armors, then dips his head back into the “Secret stash” pulling out a six pointed star talisman and a sapphire one as well. I wasn't sure where the sapphire was from and I voice my thoughts. He just shrugs and says I should have it anyway. “Um...thanks?” “No problem, and if you're looking for your supplies, Sweet Vigil should have them. She keeps all the perishables and medical stuff, she’s also the caravan’s medic, so I advise you go see her next.” I nod, and trot back to the tent to drop off the armors and talismans, quickly equipping Enders weather talisman before I go back out there in the scorching heat, My poor burning hooves are going to need moisturizer for days after this little excursion. “Vida, cool you found our armors and talismans...what about the supplies?” He floats his paladin armor over to him, but places it next to his cot instead of equipping it. “Silver told me to go see a pony named Sweet Vigil, apparently she keeps all the perishables and acts as the caravan medic.” “Ah, Zaimare was just telling me about her before she left to go manage some trade maps. She and Vigil are pretty close friends from what I can gather.” Oh? Well if that isn't a nice piece of trivia. “Hmm...well i gotta go grab the supplies, anything else you need? This being a caravan and all, i'm pretty sure I can find something here.” Ender taps his chin as he seems to mull it over, but shrugs in the end. “No, not really. Except maybe some Sun block, but I honestly doubt they carry that, they are built for this kind of climate, so they don't need it like we Equestrian ponies do. Besides we have our armor and talismans, we should be fine.” “Mmhmm”, I nod my agreement, the six pointed star gingling a bit around my neck. “Well then I guess I’m off, don't worry, I’ll be back with some water, It's waaaay to hot out here to not have some.” While I’m at it, I should also fill my canteen. Faust knows we're gonna need it for our trip. I exit the tent, taking a right back the way I came and trotting to… I look around for the nearest pony, and find a green mare hanging a banner on the front of her cart. “Mhmm, that looks about right...oh hello there, can I help you?”, the mare turns to me with a small warm smile and bright purple eyes. “Yeah, can you point me in the direction of Vigil’s cart, I have some supplies I need to pick up.” She tilts her head at me with a frown at the end, but returns to her normal smile a second later, pointing down the row with a hoof,”She’s the fith cart down, just three ahead of mine.” “Thanks.” I immediately head in the given direction, passing three more carts before I end up at a darker wood cart. In fact, if I didn't know any better, I would say that it was made of Drakewood, but that stuff can only be found in a very remote part of the world. “Oh, hallo there, what can I do ya for?”, A Northern accented voice rang. I turn to see a bright white mare with a candy red mane poking her head around the corner of the cart. she seemed to have been putting something away. “I came here to pick up Ender and I’s supplies, Silver told me that you took care of them for us while we were out.” She returns and walks up to me with a bright smile, fluttering her wings a bit, and with saddlebags around her flanks, covering her cutie mark. “Oh, you must be the travel’as we plucked from the sand not long ago; Don't worry ‘bout your supplies, I take real good care of them, being the caravan medic an’ all.” Vigil, walks up to the side of her cart runs her hoof over a few drawers built into the side, stopping on one with an unreadable label. “Here ya go dearie”, she takes out our saddlebags and packs, and hoofs them over to me.” “Cool”, I take them in my own magic...but a few questions pop up about this mare inparticular. “Say, what is it that you do exactly?”, I ask, trying to hide my inquisitiveness. “ah study and access the environment as well as apply medical aid to the crew.” Is her short and straight-to-the-point answer. Finally, a pony that speaks Equish! “And how does that work out for you?” She smiles in a ‘good enough’ sort of way, and says, “well, ah’ve been traveling with these ponies for five years and usually have to patch one up every month, or week if it's a bad season. So i’d say pretty good.” I smile, fighting back a laugh at that. Wow, sounds like these ponies see some action quite often. “And you?” I give pause at that, thinking of what it is I actually do. “Well, on a normal day I’m out slaying the next world ending evil, or being harassed by Double Dime’s mercenaries. So all in all it works out pretty well. Pays good to.” She stares at me as if waiting for a punch line, but when she sees I’m being completely serious she bursts out laughing, wings spreading out to balance herself. “Oh...oh my. And here ah thought I had the hard job…” I laugh to, both at her and the absurdity of my occupation. But like all good things, it dies off, and we stand there silently calming down. Its then that I take notice of the strange wood again. “Say, what is this made of?” I ask, running a hoof over the rough surface. She smiles with a gleam in her eyes, and says, “Ya noticed to? A while back our caravan traveled to ___ to make a rare trade, and along the way we bumped into some Drakewood trees. After about a half an hour of fussing with Zaimare, ah finally got the crew to cut some down, then we found a [Builder] and had him turn it into some wooden planks. Pretty nice huh?” I nod my approval, staring at the dark, harder-than-steel wood. “You know, this wood is gonna come in real handy if you ever run into any trouble. It's hard. Real hard.” “Yeah, ah know. As soon as I got the planks carved out, the pony also gave me a book on Drakewood and its properties. I’m honestly surprised he ‘as able to cut it into such perfect planks with how hard it is to craft an’ work with. But ah suppose he really knew what he was doing.” true. She stares at the wood too, a whole journey galloping through her eyes, but I got what I came for, and more. I cough, then slowly begin to trot away, “Well that was an interesting story, but I really need to get back to Ender with this water and supplies, so...see ya.” I trot off back to the tent, Vigil waving behind me “Ciao!” I re-enter the tent to see Ender smirking at me. “What?” He gets up and takes the supplies from me, placing them down beside the armor, and embracing me. “I saw the way you socialized with that mare. Maybe you don't hate everypony after all.” At this I frown, and back away from the embrace and say, “Nah. not at all. She was just one cool pony out of thousands I have met. This doesn't change a thing.” Clearly, Ender doesn't take it, instead laughing good naturedly. “Vida, Vida...never change.” I raise an eyebrow in annoyance, but don't pursue his odd wording, instead taking the talisman from around my neck, and the odd sapphire, and placing them both in my saddlebags. “Soo...when do we leave?” Dumb question. Ender looks back at me with a chiding look. “Vida, these ponies just saved us from a sandstorm, don't you think we should repay them in kind and heal up?” I’m about to tell him exactly how I feel about “Repayment” and “Kindness”, but Ender seems to have been able to read my mind and stops me there. “No, no…*Sigh*...Vida, we’re staying. We’re staying and we’re healing. So please try not to antagonize anypony here, okay?” I grumble, but accept it. Ender and his hypnotic persuasion powers! So unfair... I sigh, rubbing the bridge of my nose, as Vida storms off back outside. Why is she so stubborn? Zaimare and I had been talking all day about how we can repay them and she denied every request. The most I got out of her was helping with trade, but that's not exactly our strong suite so… I sigh again, and look down at the adamant shield on my flank. “Protect the pure, punish the wicked.” I shake the motto from my head. This isn't the time. Not seeing how much I can help just sitting here in this tent all day, I get up and move to my bags, searching for my weather talisman, then stop when I remember that Vida had stuffed it in her bag. Not wanting to bother the tempered mare, I decide that I’ll be just fine and move outside to check out the caravan. As soon as my hooves touch the boiling sand, I’m immediately sorry for going barehoofed, but I shake it off with my small resolve. hmm....It really is a nice sight. All these ponies traveling together like a big family, and their carts are pretty much their homes. I know Silver’s is. I scan the line of carts for somepony who looks like they need help, but frown when it seems nopony really needs any help. Confound my generosity, It drives me to compulsive amity “Something the matter?” I turn around with a start, seeing a green mare staring at me with concern. “Oh...no, I just really need something to do and nopony seems to need any help.” I gesture to my cutie mark and she nods in seeming understanding. “I know how you feel; I’m the caravan Fashioner, it's my job to design and tailor, that's why I mostly carry fabrics and patterns. But the caravan itself rarely needs re-designing. And nopony in their right mind would wear a thread of fabric in this climate.” At that moment we both watch as a blue stallion in thick purple robes trots off to another tent. “Well except for a few…”, She adds with dismay. “...yeah…” What can I do? It's just then that an idea strikes me,and I look over to the mare with a jovial grin. “I know!”, my outburst startles the poor mare as she looks back at me with wide eyes,”You could design something for me. Do you take commissions?” She seems unsure, and hesitantly says,”I’m not entirely sure this is the right place to…” I cut her off with a hoof, which causes her to go cross eyed, “No, I mean can you? It’d be nice to surprise Vida with something after this little excursion, and she absolutely loves surprises...from me that is.” I take my hoof away and she looks up at me with a conflicted expression. “Umm...I can probably make something in a day or two, given the time, but I’m going to need her measurements; I'm not too sure it's going to be much of a surprise by then.” I’m completely unconcerned about that, as I think of a million different ways I can surprise her. “Don't worry about that, I can take her measurements tonight...subtly.” I’m not entirely sure if she got the message, but then again, I don't really know much about her views of modesty. “Oh, well then great! This will give me something to actually do since...well a very long time.” “Thank you miss…?” “Mellow Devia!” “Thanks Mellow.” “No problem.” After that, she invites me to browse her materials and inquire which stlye I want her to use. I honestly wasn't sure what style Vida strikes me as, but I try anyways. I really hope she likes this.
Road trip: Part 1View OnlineThe Vidaverse.Road trip: Part 1Road trip: part 1. My hooves thud against the earthy path as I trot on my way to Ender's house. A wide grin is seemingly fixed onto my face. Why am I so happy, you ask? Well today is the day that Ender is going to take me camping. Why is camping so important, you ask? Well it's because this is going to be the first time I have gone camping. And it's going to be with Ender too! I suppress a squee of joy. I have tried to get my parents to take me camping before, but then fire hazards came up...and... I shake my head, and return my bright smile at full force. This is going to be so much fun! I arrive at Ender's house and trot up to his door. *KNOCK...KNOCK...KNOCK* "Hello?" Ender's voice comes from the other side. I hear the clip clop of hooves on wood come up to the door. I'm greeted with a happy face as Ender sees who's at his door. "Vida! Come on in." Ender opens the door wider so I can come in. "So, are you all packed and ready for our big trip?” Ender asks as he magically closes the door behind me. “Yup!” I say jovially. I bend my head back and nose the saddlebags I had on my back onto the nearby sofa. I then remove the items one at a time, verbally listing them off as i do so. “I've got the compass, a map, binoculars, some rope, fire extinguishers, a lant-” “Fire extinguishers?” I look over at him quizzically. “Yeah. why wouldn't I bring one of those?” I ask. “Why would you bring one?” he counters. “Well my parents always brought up stuff about fire hazards, so we always packed one or two.” Ender still seemed to be having trouble understanding, but I didn't press the issue. I go back to listing off my supplies while he just shrugs and goes down the hall to grab his own supplies. After about five minutes of counting off a number of supplies that shouldn’t physically be able to fit in my saddlebags Ender comes back in with a large black bag on his back. The bag is at least two thirds his size, but he seems to be able to carry without any trouble at all. He’s so strong. “Okay, so I think this is everything.” He says. “You think?” I say, eying the huge bag. He just chuckles at that one. “What all do you have in there anyway? That thing’s big enough to pack my whole house in.” I point out. Ender pulls the bag off of his back and lays it on the sofa next to my supplies. “Ohh, the usual. Shelter, bedding, personal stuff…” Ender opens the bag up and pulls out two items. “Such as these custom made collapsible tents that I got from Rarity.” One of the tents was a deep midnight black with a large white shield on the door, and two wings extending to either side. The second caused me catch my breathe. It was a Large White tent with a yellow cap, and a bright red exclamation mark adorning either side. It seemed to be made of a shiny, but smoothe material. I can't even imagine how much it costed to buy that. “You got that custom made...for me?” Ender grins and nods. “Yup, just for you Vida. I thought that it would be boring to use normal old tents, so I got these commissioned just for the occasion.!” Ender puts the folded up tents back in the black bag. “I also packed some of the food.” The mention of food catches my attention immediately. When it comes to food, Ender is very...different. It's always either something really horrible that nopony should have ever conceived. Such as Broccoli. Or something super delicious, like ____. I pay rapt attention as he removes several cans of food from the bag. “Some green beans, a bag of carrot top carrots, kale, beans, celery…” I continue to watch him remove food from the bag; silently I wonder just how long he plans for us to camp. “Mac-n-cheese, broccoli-” At the mention of broccoli I turn my focus back to the foods. With murderous intent blazing in my eyes I cast a spell to rid the world of the accursed veggie. FOREVERRRRRRR! The tiny broccoli sprout bursts into flame, a second later it's nothing but a dusty coating on the other cans surrounding it. We both stare at the scene for a long while… “Vida, why did you blow up my broccoli?” “BECAUSE IT'S EVIL!” I shout out. He gives me a bemused look before going back in the kitchen. A second later he comes back out with another head of broccoli. My heart skips a beat. “What the fuck Ender!? I just told you broccoli is evil! Why would you go grab more?” I am locked in a constant state of “What the fuck”, unable to comprehend why he would turn around and grab more of the horrid veggie immediately after I incinerate the first one. “Because I, for one, just so happen to absolutely love broccoli.” I ghasp in horror and back up a few steps. “Okay okay, i’ll get rid of the broccoli if you stop being so dramatic. I mean, jeez, it's just a veggie.” “DEAL!” I quickly grab, and shake, his hoof. “Okay, you don't have to take my leg off.” Ender grumbles as he trots past me and back into the kitchen. I watch carefully as he comes back out, noticeably without the aforementioned veggie in tow. “Happy?” I tackle him into a hug. “Yes! very much so.” I give him a little peck on the lips, then get back off of him. “So...now that that's over with, are we ready to go?” Ender asks, acting as though nothing weird happened, and magically grabbing his black bag. “As ready as i’ll ever be!” I say as I grab my saddlebags and sling them over my back. “Than let's go!” And with that, we leave Ender’s house. I shut the door behind us with a hind hoof then ask. “So where are we going exactly?” Ender had been keeping it as a surprise ever since we started this plan, and i’m really curious where it is that he’s taking me. Ender turns to me with a mischievous smile and says “You’ll know when we get there.” Oh my fucking- “Why won't you tell me now?” I whine. “Because it's a surprise.” as Is his typical answer. I just puff out my cheeks and pout. A moment later l feel a hoof on my shoulder. I look up to see an apologetic looking Ender smiling down at me. “Don't worry Vida, I promise you will love it.” And with those words Ender continues down the path to leave ponyville. Hmm...guess i'll just have to trust him. I take notice of our north-western direction and try and use that to formulate an answer. Unfortunately, despite me traveling all over equestria to slaughter unholy monsters, I can't think of anywhere. While i'm thinking of the numerous places we could be going I fail to notice a familiar bookworm with her nose in a book trotting my way. Our heads bump into each other and we both fall to our rumps, rubbing our heads. “Jeez. that hurt.” I say. As soon as I can, I look over to who bumped into me and gave me a near concussion. Twilight. Twilight gets back to her hooves, still rubbing her head. “Ugh...what did I run into?” She finally notices me. In an instant she panics and rushes over to me, “Oh Vida, i'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going. Are you okay?” I back away a step and reply, “Yeah, i’m fine.” “That's good.” I hear Ender say. I look over to him, noticing his grin. “Hey Ender, I think you got something on your face.” I point to his grin. “Want me to get that for you?” I ask in a flat tone. That collision really hurt, and it was not funny for either of us. “Okay okay, but it was kinda funny.” He says, dropping his grin back to his usual smile. “So…” We both turn to look back at Twilight. Who was still here. Twilight had been taking notice of our packs and was now looking to us with an inquiring gaze. Oh no, that's never good. “Are you two going on a trip?” She asks, staring at Enders huge bag. “Yes, actually I’m taking Vida camping. I promised i'd take her some time ago and thought now would be the perfect time.” Ender says. “Ohh camping?”, a spark lit in Twilight's eyes,a spark i would rather put out before she gets any bright ideas. “I have just the thing! I was actually just retrieving a book a pony borrowed, but you can use if you need it.” Twilight sifted through her saddlebags animatedly, pulling out a thick brown cover book. “Here you go!” Twilight magicked over the book to Ender. He took the book and studied its title as i leaned over his shoulder to look. ‘Trotting Trails: An Exploration guide. By: Robert Moon’ Robert Moon? What kind of name is that? Ender flips open the book and studies it's ___. He than quickly flips it closed and looks up to Twilight with a gentle smile, “Thank you Twilight. We could really use this on our trip.” Twilight just smiles and waves him off, “Oh it's what i'm here for. I'm the town librarian remember? Even if it is a castle now…” Twilight trails off, looking at the giant structure in question. Yeah...Princess librarian. Because that place totally isn't just a bright shiny castle or anything. “Well i better not keep you waiting than,” Twilight says, bringing our attention back to the alicorn. “Have a safe trip!” Twilight says, then continues on her path back to the castle. I follow her with my eyes until she's out of sight. “Hmm…” Ender looks over at me, stuffing the book into a safe compartment in his bag. “Well that was nice of her, wasn't it Vida?” Ender asks, getting my attention. I look over to him, then back to the castle. “I guess, but i still don't trust her.” “Are you seriously still sore about what happened that day?” Ender asks, a hint of bemusement entering his voice. I look back at him, staring straight into his eyes. “Yes.” Ender rolls his eyes, than chuckles, continuing down the path we were trotting down. “Oh well, Let’s not let that ruin our day hm?” He looks at me pointedly. One of those “I do not dwell on negative things” kind of look. So I just smile at him, silently thanking him for bring us back on track, and follow his lead. We exit through the the North-Western arks and begin our journey down long dirt path. One hour later... “So how far away are we going exactly?” I ask Ender after a long moment of silence stretched too far. All around us, thick green trees pass by. The sounds of birds and our own hoofbeats the only sounds around. Besides a river that can be heard from an indistinguishable distance away. “Well according to my map-” which is magically enchanted so only he can see it”-It should only be about a week's trot away on hoof. Give or take a day or two.” I look over to him with a conflicted expression. On one hoof: That is a lot of walking and distance. A LOT. On the other hoof: No ponies to bother me, and seven to eight days of nothing but Ender. I place these two thoughts on a mental scale. The second one wins by a landslide of YES. “Cool” Is my well thought out response. We continue to trot on like this for a while, gazing up into the bright blue, cloudless sky. Just being close to my coltfriend. “Hey Vida.” Ender calls out from my side. I look over to him curiously. “I read in one of my traveling brochures that some really good wild flowers grow near here, wanna stop for lunch?” hmm... “Sure. but where exactly are we supposed to look for them?” I ask. He grins at me, a grin i've never quite grown to trust around this stallion. “Well they're supposed to grown pretty close to the path; they are yellowish green and called…,”Ender takes out a brochure, quickly flipping to a dog eared page,”Woodsorrel.” He smiles at me as he puts the brochure back in the bag, i watch it carefully with a critical eye as he puts it away in the top latch. “Okay, sounds cool to me”, I say, now searching for the flower in question. We only wander a little ways off the path before we find them; little clover looking flowers with a scent of lemons. I carefully peek over at Ender’s expression out of the corner of my eye. No funny buisness now Ender. But he was already busy munching down on his own patch of woodsorrel. I just shrug, and bend down on my knees so i'm at eye level with the little plant. I take in every detail of the plant with large magenta eyes and a curious expression, than… *Munch, munch, mun---* My eyes shoot open with a start. “Ach! What the fuck!?-” I quickly spit the rest of the plant out, scraping my tongue off with my hooves to extinguish the repulsive sour taste. Until i hear him, my ears cock in his direction to pick up his uproarious laughter. I turn on the spot, tongue sticking out, and glare daggers at him as if my stare alone would set him on fire...which it can. “Emer! Wha bu buck!?” I say, still scraping off my tongue. “Hahahaha...oh, Vida...hehe, It's called sourgrass for a reason.” He shot me a mischievous, squinty eyed grin. Than he sticks his tongue out at me, completely clear of sour greenness. “How?” He stops chuckling, holding it in with a huge smile as he steps to the side, showing a patch of completely in tact sourgrass. He tricked me! That son a bitch tricked me into eating that stuff! Forgetting my sour tongue problem i begin to growl, a nice steam wafting from my ears. “Whoah Vida, Vida it was just a joke! You don't have to-GACH!” He doesn't get to finish sentence as I clock him right on the nose. --------------------------------Day 1: Time: 4:08pm---------------------------------- The dull throb in his nose had died down over time, but a big red lump was left where his nose should be. I merrily trot next to him, humming a happy tune and just being near my Ender. Ender...he was just happy not to have a black eye. ‘At least she’s happy now’ Ender thinks to himself. Chuckling a bit, wincing as his nose throbbed again. “Hey Ender, your nose okay?” Vida asks, her voice betraying her concern. “Yeah, yeah i'm okay. But boy you got me good,”Ender rubs the sore spot,”But I couldn't imagine any less from you.” I just stare at the big red lump, feeling just a little guilty. But it was his fault for tricking me into eating sourgrass. We continue to walk quietly, treading the soft earthen path. It truly is a lovely day. The sun is shining, the birds singing, and i think i saw a pair of yellow eyes peering at me from that bush. I stop immediately, turning to stare at the bush. But nothing is there… I extend a tendril of magic, poking and prodding through the bush and beyond, but i don't sense anything. “What is it Vida? Did you see something?” Ender asks from ahead of me. I’m about to open my mouth to say “Nothing”, but than common sense kicks in and i say,”I think there's a timberwolf hunting us, Ender.” To his credit, he doesn't even flinch from the news, only looking towards the bush and extending his emerald magic towards and through it. “Hmm…,” he hums, his eyes attentive and ears tilted forward. “Well i can't find anything out of the usual...for a forest anyway. But we should probably keep an eye out just incase those wolves would decide to attack; my books tell me that they prefer to hunt at night, and ambush their prey in groups. “That dog isn't going to attack us in broad daylight, and we are more than prepared to take them on.” At that last part I just smile innocently at him,”Oh is my big. Strong stallion going to protect me?” I saunter over to him with half-lidded eyes and a lilted tone, hooking my hooves around his muscles in an over-loving and passionate way. We gaze into each other's eyes as my lovestruck smile morphs into a humored grin. I collapse on the ground in a fit of laughter. “Oh, that was good,” I say, wiping a metaphorical tear with my hoof. “That was...interesting to say the least.” Enders cheeks were turning a light shade pink, and that just made me laugh more. *GrrrrrOOAARRR!* “-What the f-!” A giant timbewolf pounces on me before i can react, sensing my defenses were down as i rolled on the ground, distracted. “Stupid fucking dog, Can't you see i'm trying to have a moment?” We roll over each other three times before the wolf lands on top of me, snapping me with sappy saliva dripping onto my pristine coat. “Ugh, gross!” I pull all four hooves in, coiling my legs like a spring, than bucking the creature like a field goaly. The wolf goes flying a few meter, landing on it's side and breaking off a few twigs. All the while, Ender watches me carefully, ready to intervene if things get too roudy. The wolf gets back up, howling in anger and pain as it stares back at me with soulless glowing eyes. It begins to circle me, me doing the same as we circle each other parallel. I light my horn with a magenta glow (No flames this time, though it is my trademark). We both stop, a typical standoff settles as a metaphorical tumbleweed drifts by and marexican music plays in the background. An ominous wind blows through my mane as i glare at the evil creature, spreading my front legs a bit in an offensive stance. “C’mon you pussy, What’cha waiting for!?” My taunt works, and the wolf flies at me, claws out and ready to shred me to ribbons. I catch the flying dog with a well aimed magenta lighting bolt straight to the chest. It howls in pain and lands off course, crashing into the ground, twitching as pink electricty arcs through it's body. I saunter over to it, staring it in the eyes. It stares back in defiance as it's yellow glow is taken over by pink… Than nothing. The wolf falls limp as it's light seemingly dies. Little arcs of pink causing it to twitch every now and then. “Bravo Vida, Bravo! Do we get an encore?” Ender stamps his hooves in applause as i turn back to him with a casual grin. “Sorry, that'll be all for today folks.” This seems to really make his day, and he quickly trots up to me, checking me all over for any harm. My saddlebags have a minor scratch, and my fur is sticky with wolf sap sailava. Other than that I have one of the shallowest scratches ever just below my flank. “Here, let me patch that up, it may not be big, but it's still an open wound.” Ender pulls out the First aid kit, takes out a bandage, and slaps it right over my flank. I look back at it with mixed mixed feelings, and an odd expression. “Wow, that really looks weird, you know that?” Ender puts the first aid kit back in the large black pack, and turn back to me. “Hmm? Oh, i don't think so. It kinda matches your personality actually.” I look back at him with a smirk and raised eyebrow. “Are you for real?” I ask, an odd smile on my face. “Well either way, I still need to find a watering hole or something, this tree sap is disgusting and feels gross on my body,” I punctuate my statement by making a sick face at my sappy fur. Ender promptly pulls out his map and checks it for blue, ‘cant have a sappy Vida now can we?’ he thinks, spotting two patches of blue on the map. “Hmm...well according to my map there are actually two water sources nearby,”At this, I look back at him with a hopeful expression,”One of them is north-east of here, about ten miles” Ender points to our right,”While the other one is west of here, about fifteen miles”, He points to our left. I look in both directions, mentally mapping the routes. I frown as i calculate the time difference and divide it by time traveled from the main route and day hours. ----1325-378262553=67483921+5267384-938276173----yeah...computer mind. “Hm…” I put a hoof to my chin in an exaggerated expression of deep thought. Than suddenly a big red exclamation mark pops over my head, “I got it!” I adamantly point to the north-east. “Okay Vida, looks like we got a route planned; now give me a moment to place a beacon spell so we don't lose our road. I twitch impatiently as an emerald glow surrounds Ender’s horn...than *POP*s. “Aaaand done! Alright let's go.” Ender makes a hearty gesture. I stare at him bemusedly, his hearty gesture dying in confusion. “You don't have to make a show of a beacon spell Ender.” He just blushes and follows behind me as we make our way to the water source. -------------Day 1: Time 10:17pm---------------- I itch like crazy as I trudge through the foliage, plants and twigs and Faust knows what sticks to my fur and hooves. Turning me into a filthy mess. After we crested a hill my hooves tripped in sap and I tumbled some fifteen feet into the sappiest tree I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Now yellow sap drips from my mane’s tip onto my nose. I grimace. “I can't take much more of this”, I say, not bothering turning to look at Ender at risk of pulling the fur of my neck. “Don't worry Vida, we’re almost there, In fact,” Ender cocks his ears forward,” I think i can hear the rush of water. We must be very close.” At that mention, i bolt beyond the canopy with no warning; so eager to rid myself of this sap. Just as luck would have it, i run into a large lake. A waterfall crests the hill beyond it, pouring new water into the lake. I take it all in for all of five seconds, before swan diving straight into the deepest part I can see. I resurface, taking a fresh breathe of air as I enjoy the feeling of the water soaking my body. The cool, crisp water seeps into every hair and relaxes my muscles, cleaning away the stress of the day along with the tree sap. “Aahhhh yeaaaahhhh….” my eyelids drift as I turn to see Ender smiling at me just beyond the edge of the lake. “Ender…*sigh*...this water feels soooo good. You have to come in.” Ender gives me an apologetic look and denies, “nah, i’m good.” Soon his attention is drawn by a few rocks next to the pool, and he takes off his black bag. “Wow, hey Vida do you know what kind of rocks these are? These are igneous-” As I float in the water, hind legs kicking and my mane sopping wet, I grin a wide, devious grin. “You're a mean one misses Grinch”, I whisper to myself using Grinche's voice. As Ender lectures about the rarity and origins of the rocks, I slowly sink down into the water until only my eyes peek over the water's surface. Than, ever so slowly, like a predator stalking it's prey, glean towards Ender’s turned back. I charge my horn, the subtle sound of magic completely going unnoticed. “-it's really quite difficult to find, are you listening Vida?”, Ender turns around just in time to see my lunge at him. He shouts, and startles back out of surprise, but not before I latch onto him with both my forehooves and envelop him in my ,magic. Than down he goes, I drag him into the water, laughing maniacally. “C’mon Ender, dontcha wanna get wet?” *SPLASH* “Vida,What are you doing!?” I just giggle as I latch onto him in the water, wrapping my forelegs and hindlegs around his barrel as he struggles to stay afloat. “Vida! I can't stay afloat if you-” his protest is cut off as i drag him below the water’s surface; casting a quick water breathing spell on both of us as i do so. Ender doesn't know this spell, and it's the first time he has seen me use it, so he obviously panics as his vision is submerged. I stare at him earnestly as he squeezes his eyes and holds a hoof over his nose believing he was going to drown or something. Calming down, i bathe the surrounding water in a gentle magenta light, beaming at the colorful display. “Hey Ender?”, I say, my voice distorting from the water’s dimensions. Ender seems to lose his panic and replace it with confusion as he looks at me, smiling earnestly. “I cast a water breathing spell dipstick, you can open your mouth.” He stares at me a little while longer, than slowly removes his hoof from his nose and mouth. Than finally notices my work, he gapes, wide-eyed at the colors projecting from my horn like a underwater lava lamp. “Wow,” he whispers in awe. “Lol, yeah it is pretty cool huh?” “Yeah…” We gently float there, Ender captivated by my display, and I captivated by his charm. --------------Day 1: Time 12:45am----------------- On a beach, an ocean spray washes over sand, revealing a copper rock beneath it's surface.
Ω After dark activity...View OnlineThe Vidaverse.Ω After dark activity...The room was dimly lit by a small lamp on the dresser. Casting a soft yellow light upon the room and its two furnishings. In the middle was a large, plain white bed, big enough for at least three ponies to sprawl out comfortably. In the corner was a small ornate chair. Nothing special, just a chair. On the bed were two ponies. One, Greenie as she is called, stands, legs spread, overtop of another pony with her legs spread as well, almost interlocking legs. The pony beneath Greenie was orange, with creme colored mane and tail. They gaze into each other with half lidded eyes, passion and love, and just a hint of mischievousness and naughtiness. Soft words are spoken as Greenie strokes carmines chest slowly, sending pleasant shivers through the other ponies body. Licking her lips, Greenie slowly bends down, Carmine's hind legs brushing against her hide, as she plants gentle kisses down her neck, belly, then stops just short of her dimly lit teats. Carmine whispers lovingly to Greenie as she begins to lightly suckle her her waiting teats; carmines tilts a little with a deep, loving moan. Greenie senses her lover's pleasure, and increases her efforts, eliciting a bigger moan from her mare. Eventually, Greenie stops her teasing, having noticed how wet Carmine had gotten between her hind legs. Greenie speaks naughtily as she dips her muzzle between her hind legs, licking long, drawn out strokes over her winking vulva, causing a light pant to exit Carmine's lips. Carmine murmurs encouraging words as she enjoys being tended to, wrapping her hind legs around Greenie’s neck, gently pulling her in closer. In response, Greenie licks harder and faster, eliciting another, deeper groan from the orange mare. It only takes a few minutes of this until Greenie feels Carmine begin to tense up, sensing her mares coming orgasm Greenie suddenly stops. Carmine whines, asking Greenie why she stopped as she squirms a little, having just been on the edge of release. Greenie grins in a naughty way, asking Carmine if she wanted to go with her way. Carmine, having known Greenie would likely try doing this, nods quietly, a very lewd grin on her face as she closes her eyes. She feels Greenie untangle herself from their intertwined legs, then feels as she leaves the bed. She strains her ears to hear the quiet patter of her hooves on the carpet as she leaves the room. Carmine groans a little as her earlier orgasm fades, but she already knows that's not the last time she would feel that. She smiles at Greenie as she walks back into the room, carrying an assortment of bondage tools and toys over her shoulder. She gently places them on the edge of the bed and pulls out two twenty foot long ropes. The two speak lovingly to each other, conversing on all the dirty things they're about to do as Greenie ties the end of the rope around Carmine's fetlocks. Carmine relaxes as she allows Greenie to tie the end of the ropes together, tying her forelegs fetlock to fetlock, then tying the end to the bed frame. Greenie makes sure her mare is comfortable as she ties the knot tight, testing it to make sure Carmine wouldn't be able to get loose. As Carmine ensures she comfortable, and makes sure she can't escape, Greenie grins again. Leaning in for a passionate kiss. Greenie feels over Carmines body with her forehooves as they share the loving embrace, feeling each others mouths with subtlety and love. Carmine groans into the kiss as Greenie,s hooves reach her waiting vulva, rubbing it lovingly. Then gasps her lips are gently parted, now exposed and moist. They break the kiss, a small line of saliva connecting their lips as Greenie takes a deep breathe. Then scoots down further to resume her work on Carmines parted pussy. Carmine squirms as she feels herself grow hot, wrapping her hind legs around Greenie neck again, pushing her muzzle deeper and deeper into herself. She gasps loudly as Greenie hits her G spot, spasming a little with ecstasy. Carmine speaks lovingly as her breaths become labored and her cheeks and ears become rosy. Greenie licks faster and faster, her tongue delving deep into her mares sacred crevices, until she feels the familiar feeling of tenseness build up around her muzzle. She gently pulls her muzzle out of her mares pussy as she pushes her over the edge. Carmine groans loudly in ecstasy as she quirts fluids into Greenie’s face. Then smile, staring into each other with half lidded eyes and labored breathes. "I love you" they tell each other, gazing into each other for a long time. Greenie asks if she still wants to go. Carmine nods enthusiastically, preparing herself for a second orgasm. As she gets control of her breathes again, Greenie gets back off the bed. Pulling out two more long ropes from the edge of the bed. Carmine lifted her left hind leg, allowing Greenie to tie a knot around her ankle, then letting her guide her leg to the corner of the bed, where she ties it off on the beds back legs, making sure its tight but still comfortable. She repeats the process with her right hind leg, ensuring she couldn't move any of her legs. Then, she grabs two more ropes, tying them each around her thighs, then tying them off on the sides of the bed. Carmine begins to whine a little, complaining something about how long it takes to tie her mare to a bed. Making very lewd statement about Greenie enjoying taking all the time she needs. Greenie just chuckles a bit as she pulls out a strap on dildo. She climbs back over top of Carmine, stopping just short of her dribbling pussy, pulling the straps tight around her thighs to make sure it was secure. Then, again standing over Carmine with all four legs spread, begins a rotating movement with her hips. Carmine throws her head back with a loud groan as she feels Greenie's dildo shift in and out of her in a gentle motion. She squirms, trying to wrap her hind legs around her mare but finding no ground as they were securely tied to the bed. She squirms and groans more as Greenie picks up her pace, thrusting deeper and faster into her mare. Sweat starts to drip down Greenie face and she begins to pant with exertion as she goes faster and faster, smiling triumphantly as she hears a loud yelp, signaling that she had penetrated her mare. Carmine begins to struggle against her bonds and whines as this continues on, her orgasm rushing to meet her fast, but her mind fogging over with pleasure. Carmine lets out a scream and bends her back as her second orgasm washes over her, sending her juices splashing against Greenie undercarriage. But Greenie doesn't stop, she just keeps up the pace, leaning down and nibbling her ears as she continues to thrust. Carmine begins to mutter that it's too much, to stop, but no such mercy comes. She feels herself tense up again and struggles against bonds with eyes clenched shut as her third orgasm rushes to meet her too. She screams loudly as a third orgasm washes over her, and promptly falls limp as her juices squirt out of her in rivulets. *pant pant* Greenie leans in and kisses her lips, asking her how she liked that. Carmine responds by delving deeper into the kiss,,exploring her mouth with her tongue as she subconsciously attempts to hug her mare. Greenie begins to feel over Carmines body again, rubbing against her belly, forelegs, cheeks, then her sides. Carmine yelps in surprise as Greenie rubs against her sides, scolding Greenie jokingly as she rubs past a ticklish spot. Greenie just grins devilishly, beginning to tickle the bound and helpless mare. Carmine begs Greenie to stop, in between laughs and giggles, as her mare tickles her all over. Thrashing about against the onslaught. She tickles her on her sides, then her hind legs, then moves down to her hooves. "On my-" she begins as Greenie begins to lovingly lick the frogs of her hooves. A shiver of pleasure runs up her spine as she sucks on her bound hooves, holding them tightly. Carmine murmurs her enjoyment as Greenie continues to pleasure her, moving onto her right hoof. Eventually things calm down as Greenie ends her onslaught and climbs back over top of Carmine, smiling down at her gorgeous face with half lidded eyes. "That was really good." Greenie says. Carmine agreeing entirely as the fatigue tries to catch up with them. They just lay there for a few minutes, Greenie laying belly to belly with Carmine. She leans down and nuzzles her neck lovingly, pulling back up and beginning to untie her forehooves. As soon as her hooves were loose enough she pulls her into a crushing hug, rope hanging from her fetlocks still in a knot. They the embrace, Greenie moving to unwind her lovers hind legs and thighs. "Greenie, this has been a wonderful night" Carmine says, smiling and getting up to stand on her hindlegs as she embraces her lover. "It was all for you, Carmine" Greenie replies, licking her cheek meekly. Carmine just giggles and bats Greenie away, her loving to mess with her by licking her face. "Well...now I think it's time I pleasure you. Follow me." Greenie makes to protest, but one spank on the flank later and she is all on board. Carmine picks up the ropes, having the over her shoulder as she leads the two out of the bedroom and to the living room. Carmine tells Greenie to turn around and bend over. Greenie complies, bending over in front of Carmine, putting everything on display, including her soaking pussy. She feels a and wrap around the base of her tail, pulling to the the side and out of the way. Greenie asks what it is she plans on doing, but her only answer is a cryptic reply. Next, she feels her fore hooves getting pulled back, Greenie nearly falling on her nose as her fetlocks brush against her ankles. Greenie complains a bit about the suddenness as she feels a rope tie her fetlocks to her ankles, then as she ties off her other side, completely immobilizing her in a forced butt in the air, tail waving position. Then hears Carmine’s hooves thud off to another room. Greenie knows Carmine has a different style when she makes love to her, but sometimes she just wonders how much her partner knows about "keeping you in company". Eventually she hears Carmine come back, the sound of two very familiar devices in tow. First, she feels the leathery feel of a stiff dildo part her vulva, Carmine adjusting it a bit, testing a few light thrusts to make sure it went miss. When she hears carmines confirmation she hears the unmistakable sound of a Vibe reach her ears. Greenie had never admitted it before, but she loves the feel of a vibrator on her pussy. Something about the stimulation just entrances her in a complicated irritating sort of way. Then she hears two clicks and two more vibes. She feels two vibrators bush against her teats as they are fixed in place, shuddering as the vibrators tend to her. She hears one gore click as the "bucking-machine" was turned on, the dildo quickly gaining speed as she feels Carmine press the third vibrator against her pussy parting the vulva. "On my Faust..." Greenie breathes out. The amazing amount of stimulation muddling her mind in a constant state of ecstasy from stimulation. She could already feel her first orgasm coming as Cramine began to rub the vibrator on her pussy in a hard pressed circular motion, nearly doubling her pleasure as she lets out a deep feminine moan and closes her eyes. In but a few moments, Greenie tensed up, the dildo and three vibrators pushing her over the edge dramatically as she squirts all over the dildo machine. Then it all gets better. Carmine flips all of the vibrators to the maximum setting, and turning up the dildo machine to maximum output. I scream gutturally as the dildo machine remorselessly rams me, penetrating deep and hard, and the over stimulation of the three vibrators. I could swear I felt my milk dripping down my legs. All the while Carmine grins, knowing all to well how "hardcore" lovemaking she prefers. Apposed to her own gently bound preference. But Greenie would seem to be the type, like the time she had sex with five stallions as she wildly sucked on every Dick shoved in her face and was ducked in every hole on her body. For Carmine, that would simply be too much. She is shaking from her thoughts as Greenie screams loudly, spasming again as she goes through her second orgasm already. Greenie, panting loudly, practically begs her not to stop. Things continue this way for a few hours at least, Greenie enduring the hardcore sex until she passed out from exhaustion. She came twelve times. Carmine quietly disassembles and deactivates all the devices, deciding she could put them away in the morning, for now she had a nice partly soaked bed calling her name. Carmine, with all the gentleness she can muster, gently throws the unconscious Greenie over her shoulder to carry her to bed. Greenie doesn't so much as twitch the entire way. Gently, Carmine lays Greenie on her back, walking to the other side of the bed, not bothering slipping under the covers as she flops onto her side, gently making her way to dreamland. While she sleeps, Greenie unconsciously turns over, draping all four legs over her lover. Spooning her in her sleep. That is one of many great nights for this couple... The Five second WarView OnlineThe Vidaverse. The Five second WarGuess what? Its five-second war time! I stand before a great field of golden plains, the wind gently blows across the glistening edges of the tall grasses. I take a deep breathe- Five milliseconds later. -And let out a war cry as i fire my tactical missile spell across the war ridden landscape before me. A fellow soldier collapses at my side as i take cover behind a sandbag barrier, missile spells and thaumaturge bullets fly overhead. I cast a scrying spell over the field and spot their military general; a black armored pegasus with a rough physique I pluck a grenade from my fallen comrade and peek out the top of my barrier to take aim, then- Nine milliseconds later. I Fire my strategic missile spell at the evil overmind. The artificial ground beneath us, riddled with magical nuclear craters from both of us. The mad pony dodges to the left, my nuke spell instead detonating on the gothic style tower farther ahead. The shockwave blowing off an obsidian tower. The tower crumbles as it falls, sending small but deadly debris hurtling towards me and the overmind. He deflects it with psychic power, and sends the rest towards me. I dodge then- Seventeen-point-eight milliseconds later. -Pull up a magenta energy field around myself, just as a red and black death ray touches down around me. I drop my shield and gaze up at the cosmic goddess from where i stand, on a small column of intact earth. The cosmic goddess gives me a malicious smirk. I throw an equally deadly smirk right back. I charge up a cosmic distortion spell to eradicate the creature, whom has destroyed countless worlds before mine. The goddess charges up her own, twisted bi-horn and launches another deadly ray at me. I fire my own spell. The two spells meet and a rift in space is made between us. I fire off another spell, this one passing right through the rift and impacting the evil pony. She shrieks in pain as i watch her dissipate, then- Eighty-nine-point-five milliseconds later. I merrily trot on down the alley. Royal guards bow before me as i reach the end. I look upon the solar and lunar diarchy, a triumphant grin on my face. “I dub thee, Savior of the universe!” Celestia says. She levitates over to me, a platinum crown, studded in Emeralds and Sapphires. I take it humbly and bow before the duo. There is a grand party in honor of my heroic deeds. Two-point-eight seconds later. I battle the Dimensional wurm in the failing ship’s hull. My platinum crown glows a deep magenta as i fire up my horn. I barely miss the cosmic blast it fires. The deep blue ray impacts the Royal hall behind me, exploding and destroying the hall. Celestia and Luna are Most definitely grievously injured. While it recharged i send a strategic missile spell right into the wurms open maw. An explosion of green gore and cosmic flesh is blown in every direction. As it calms down, i trot up to the fallen beast. I stand atop its corpse, one bare hoof dug deep into the Bloody remains of a cosmic atrocity! I smile triumphantly, then- Two seconds later. -I Extend my open hoof to the Solar princess. After another great cataclysm, and yet more heroics from my amazing self, she has recovered and i attend yet another coronation for my deeds. I grin widely as she hoofs me a gold crown, studded with cosmic rubies that glisten like stars. I place the crown atop my platinum one and turn to face the gargantuan crowd. “Rejoice!” i announce. Everypony throws their hooves in the air as they cheer on their one and only savior. Present Time...Finally. I sit at my dining table eating hay-based cereal with ____. I feel a stare over me and turn to look behind me. There, in the corner of my house, is a blue police phone box. Beside the box stood a gaping Doctor Whooves. I gaze at him, slightly adjusting my double crown atop my head. “H-how?” he utters. I continue to gaze at him, before it occurs to me. “Because i'm Awesome.” i reply, grinning. I return my focus to my cereal, and continue my day like normal. Just another day. Author's Note The real doc can be found here
Majin Moon: PrologueView OnlineThe Vidaverse.Majin Moon: PrologueThe Zealous ruins. Dust thickly covers every inch of the ancient site. Its floors, once depicting power and symbolizing union, now lay cracked and broken. Ancient enchantments on the columns and wall weakened over time as a single wall caves in, kicking up dust. The walls, once depicting a time in history, a time ruled by the goddess of stars and her disciple, now lay forgotten. Out of a hole i ten roof of the building, a single moon ray shine down on the center.illuminating a dark tomb. For several moments all that can be heard is the whistle of the wind, and the cold chill of night. Until...a small sparkling sheen can be seen covering the tomb. At first glance it could be mistaken as a trick of light, but the sheen became more pronounced. Soon turning into a light turquoise aura. It waved and rippled like a vast sea, lapping over itself several times. It engulfed the tomb. Suddenly, the lid began to inch. Dust from ages long past, and the noxious odor of ancient stale air fill the surroundings. The lid, now several feet off of the tomb, begins to slowly slide to the side. Moonlight pours into the tomb for the first time in over one thousand years. Filling its cavity with a gentle light. Something begins to shift in the tomb, small motes of dust rising up, now free from their confinement. As the lid drops carefully onto the floor beside the tomb, a single dark figure slowly Rises. Ancient wrappings of papyrus hang limply from the dark body. Dark navy fur, almost black, shines and glistens in the moonlight. Illuminating a tall and imposing figure. On its head sits a spiraling horn, almost two feet long. The turquoise aura drips off of the lid and swirls into the air, circling the horn. As the last wisps of blue fade into the horn all falls silent and still. Not even the drop of water can be heard. Nor the sound sighing in the distance. Slowly, the figure opens its eyes. A pair of piercing turquoise eyes pulse in the darkness, and a single word echoes through the silent chambers. "Caarrmmaa" Author's Note This is more to prepare the settings for future chapters.
A Graceful DreamView OnlineThe Vidaverse.A Graceful DreamI slowly walk down a beaten path, thick foliage all around me. My ears swivel in place as I hear birds chirping in the distance. I feel the damp leaves of tall plants brush against my fur, and feel the warm and damp plants under hooves. I breathe in deeply, the humid air filling my nose with all the scents of freshness and plants. I continue down this untrotten path until I reach a large rounded clearing. It is filled with pink plants that sway gracefully in a low wind. In the middle of the clearing stands a lone dark wooded tree. It stands tall and adamant, but at the same time a sense of sorrow and regret lie beneath its protective bark. A steel defense to protect the vulnerable tree from collapsing under its own weight. Its branches sway gently, and pinkish blossoms dot its many branches. I stop in front of the tree, and gaze at it. As if by response, a single flower drops from the tree and lands between my right ear. I blink as I stare at the tree, an alien feeling rising and burning in my chest. Suddenly I hear a whisper, then, without any warning, the whole clearing lights aflame. The maleficent pyre burns with a magenta hue as it consumes the tree. All I can do is watch as the once beautiful burns away before me eyes. Before I know it, I am standing in a field of ash, a burnt stump sits before me, cold and dead. I gaze at the ruins of the once majestic life then, slowly, reach up between my right ear. I free the flower from its perch and stare the unblemished pink flower. A single drop of rain slides down its pedal, where it deposits it over the cold remains of the tree. I sit there for decades, eons, as the rain continues to pour unrelentlessly. Slowly, I return the flower between my right ear, and trot back into the foliage. The sound of leaves crunching beneath my hooves. The dead silence of the nature, without birdsong or cricket tunes, haunts me like a ghost. I return to where I began and, without a word, take the final step into total darkness. A single word is carried on the wind after i have left. A soft, unspoken word filled with empathy and remorse. "I'm sorry." Author's Note the real doc can be found here
