Chapter 1- Dimond Cove

It had been 2 weeks since Spike had rescued the mere-pony, and in that whole time had been spent walking home, so its understandable that when Spike made it to his cottage in Dimond Cove he hung up his black cloak, went to his bed and slept for 2 solid days. Spikes cottage was medium sized and had 2 floors, the first floor had a rocking chair and a small lap with some books incase Spike got board, it also had a small kitchen with a fringe filled half with booze and half with Gems, with a few bottles of Honey in there incase he wanted to add some taste to the gems. there was also a closet full of letters from the main 6, celestia, luna, cadence and shiny armer, and Flurry heart. he wouldt mind so if it weret for the fact that almost all of Flurry hearts letters were overly sappy love letters. on the second floor was simply a a small bathroom and a large bedroom. he had a bed, lamp, books, and a shelve, and pictures from all who sent him letters. he had told them about Tom, but had scratched off the part of losing his arm and planing to kill the guy since they`d probably try to talk him out of it.

it was early when Spike woke up, and after donning his cloak and eating some breakfast, he left his home and was immediately bombarded with the sound of a party and yell`s of

"WELCOME BACK OUR MOST NOBLE HERO !!!" and in a flash Spike was pulled into a party by a dozen Dimond dogs all waiting him to shake there hands and such. Spike might of left, but the Dimond dogs knew him to well after 20 years and had made a Giant gem cake. needless to say Spike suddenly felt he could party for a bit. he might have stayed for the whole thing to if Jamie hadt handed him the note. Jamie was his neighbor, the owner of the local bar, and, unfortunately for Spike, she was the president of his fan club, and had tried on several occasions to trick him into marriage, these tricks usually involved love potions. today she was dressed in a brown fuzzy coat, a white tank top  and pants that stopped a little below the knee. she was also the only Dimond-dog in town who want completely stupid. such as if he said he was leaving the others would leaving at that and the party would end, but Jamie would bring out something she knew Spike couldn't resist, like a Gem cake, and hed stay for a while, but he never drank anything she gave him. it was almost always a love potion in disguise. so it was without saying that Spike stopped drinking anything the residents of the town game him. but she was also the only person who had any luck tracking Tom, so when she tried to give him a drink, he declined, as she walked past to deliver drinks ,Spike found that both a drink and a note had mysteriously appeared in front of him. Picking it up he read the few lines that were on it

StarDuster will be passing threw Dimond Cove in 3 weeks time, hes called ahead and will be stoping at my bar on Saturday, this might be your best chance to kill him.

Spike immediately dumped out the drink and ate the note for good measure.

"looks like ill be staying home for awhile." and so Spike did the only thing he could think to do, he went to Dimond coves port to get some fish for his dinner, when he arrived he found a very particular sight, a earth pony without his shirt and wearing a white sailors cap was waist deep in the freeze water screaming nonsense to the waves, what made it even weirder was that more screaming came from a whole bunch of pony`s on a ship some of them jumping off. Spike realized they were either under a spell or incredibly stupid, Spike simply walked into the water, up to the screaming colt he had first seen and gave him a open palm slap to the face, the colt was knocked out cold, Spike picked him up, went to the ship and administered his "treatment" to the entirety of the crew. after about 20 minutes or so they started waking up. and they all seemed to have no idea where the hell they were, the Captain of the ship, the first one Spike had slapped, shook Spikes hand and said

"Ive no idea where we are or how we got here but thank ya kindly my friend, last thing I remember was the most Beautiful song, then next thing i know, where here, and it seems some of our crew didnt make it to shore at all." in fact the ship it self was half sinking and the mast was broken.

"it seems" Spike said "that you almost didn`t make it here at all, what did this song sound like?"

"well" the Captain started"it sounded like, well.....like a... i think it wa-" it was then that Spike heard it, it was indeed a beautiful song, the words imposible to make out, but the voice it sounded familiar, as if hed heard it before. He was about to ask the Captain if this was, indeed, the same sound hed heard when he heard a splash, they were all jumping over board again!

"oh for the love of.." within a minute Spike had slapped them all unconscious and wrapped them up in some blackness he found on the ship. the sound continued and, feeling that more pony`s might kill them selfs if this kept up, he got on a dingy and set sail, looking to stop the sound before more pony got themselves killed over it.
