so just a heads up, this is my first story, i'd enjoy criticism and comments but go easy on me please, plus this hasnt had much editing done to it besides me reading over it 3 times
a normal day
Spike sat up from his bed and yawned, knowing it would be the start to another normal day, but he couldn't be more wrong. Spike walked out of his room of the castle, since he was now 18 he couldn't share a room with Twilight. He was about to knock on Twilight's door to wake her from her slumber but stopped when he smelt the delicious aroma of gems, coming from the kitchen.
“Is Twilight cooking with gems?” the dragon asked himself. “I better go find out.” and with that he walked down the hall and into the kitchen only to be shocked to see that twilight had made jewel pancakes, and she rarely did that.
“What's the occasion?” he asked in his stern more teenage like voice, causing the purple unicorn to jump a little, then turn to see him.
“Oh, spike you gave me a scare.” twilight said calming down. “ and what do you mean ‘what's the occasion’ I can't cook my little dragon some breakfast?” she asked with a smile.
“Well I mean, you almost never cook breakfast anymore, i just thought something special was going on.” spike confessed scratching the back of his head.
“ well yeah, we usually just go out to eat but i woke up early today and thought that i’d surprise my little dragon” she said warmly as she laid plates of various breakfast foods on the table and then took a seat. “ now stop standing around and come eat.”
Spike gave her a small smile as he went to sit at the table and looked over all the food. There were eggs, pancakes, and cups filled to the brim with orange juice, and spike’s pancakes had jewels baked into them while twilight’s were just normal. They ate like normal, sometimes glancing at each other giving one another a smile, until they were finished with their breakfast.
“So” spike started as he wiped his mouth. “Where's Starlights’ breakfast?”
“Oh no...i forgot starlight” twilight said as she frantically raced back to the kitchen in an attempt to cook a little more before Starlight woke up. With all the quick moving around and look of worry on her face, spike giggled a little as he stood up to help her. A normal day, that's what they had...for now.

“Um, i'm very grateful that you cooked twilight but i had plans to go out on the town with Trixie...sorry” Starlight had politely declined Twilight’s offer for breakfast as she was heading out the door, which made spike all the more happy.
“More for me i guess” the dragon spoke briefly as he shoved her pancakes down his throat.
“Spike, if you eat too much you're going to get a stomach ache” the alicorn complained, as she used her magic to put the dishes in the sink.
“I'm not a kid anymore Twilight, I know how to ta-ta-” spike could no longer continue as he made a throwing up like motion but nothing left his lips.
“Ha told you” Twilight said coming closer with a bucket. “Here use this”
Spike bent over and coughed up something Twilight assumed was barf but there wasn't any sound of liquid hitting the bucket, just a small ‘thunk’ which intrigued her to look closer when spike had moved his head, only to reveal a scroll, this surprised twilight only because the princess never sent scrolls anymore, for spikes body got too large, almost twice the size of a normal stallion, and the scrolls would usually get caught in his long neck and he’d cough all day until he spit it out.
Spike coughed a little. “I hope it was worth my pain and suffering”
“ hush spike, i'm reading, and this seems very important” Twilight said for she had already started reading.
When twilight had finished reading she let out a loud gasp as she teleported away quickly, forgetting everything she usually grabs before she leaves. Spike picked up the paper that had leisurely fallen to the ground moments after twilight had left, and began reading.“Dear princess Twilight,
I regret to inform you that there's trouble down in the crystal empire, princess Mi Amore Cadenza has fallen ill due to an unknown disease, she has had the best doctors and nurses try to help her, but nothing seems to be treating her illness, we please beg of your presence for, you might be the princess’s last hope.
Signed princess Celestia.
Spike worried a little thinking that princess cadence might be deathly ill, but settled when he thought about Twilight going to see her, if anyone could cure something un curable, it was her.
Spike had decided it was a good time to go to sleep, he had been waiting for Twilight to return home all night but the only one to go through the door all day was Starlight and she mostly just read quietly, showed Spike some new tricks she had learned then went to bed.
Spike yawned a little before getting up from his chair. “ I guess Twilight’s going to be late tonight” spike said to himself as he walked down the castle hallway to his room to get some sleep.
Spike woke from his slumber and walked down to Twilight’s room to wake her, he knocked on her door several times and waited but there was no answer, so he checked inside, there was no Twilight in the room, he checked the bathroom, the kitchen, he even asked starlight but there was no trace of the purple unicorn. “ where could she be?” the dragon asked himself before coming to a conclusion. “ hey Starlight, i'm gonna go to Sugar cube corner for a little while, be back later” Spike yelled as he walked out of the door. Spike figured he’d just ask his friends if they'd seen Twilight at all and why he was out, he would get a bite to eat.
The walk to Sugar cube corner wasn't long, but it gave Spike a couple minutes to think why he was so worried, and he couldn't think of an answer so just cleared his head as he walked into the building, not five seconds after he walked in he was greeted by an overly excited Pinkie Pie.
“Hi, how ya doing Spike? How’s Twilight? Where's Twilight? Why aren't you with Twilight? Well...i know you’re, your own dragon and you don’t need Twilight, but if you're not with Twilight anymore, you'd need a job” Pinkie stopped to gasp, spike didn't know if it was in excitement or just to catch her breath. “ are you here to get a job?”
Once Spike was sure that she was done talking he spoke up. “ well, i was going to ask you if you've seen Twilight but obviously you haven't, but i also wanted something to e-...e-...” spike again couldn't finish as he felt yet another scroll shooting up his throat. “ oh Celestia, not again” the dragon yelled as the rolled up paper came out of his mouth and he started opening it.
“Oh...pretty paper, what's it say?” Pinkie asked getting excited, a normal ponies neck would have gotten tired of looking up at spike so long but Pinkie isn't normal.
“It says...dear Spike, serious issues have arrived, me and my sister must speak with you and the others as quick as possible, please and thank you. Signed princess Celestia.” spike read from the paper.
“road trip” the pink pony yelled getting more excited. “ when do we leave?”
“I would assume we have to leave immediately, lets go get the others then get on a train” the dragon spoke as he and the pink pony went out the door.
By the time Spike and Pinkie gathered the rest of their group and got on the train, Luna’s moon was high in the air, spike had showed all five of the girls the letter he received and a little while later they had arrived in Canter lot and spoke with the princess.
“My loyal subjects, i'm sure you are very concerned about my letter, and i have the most unfortunate of news, Twilight Sparkle cast a spell on cadence that did in fact cure her, but the moment she finished the spell she...she disappeared, i wish not to speak of it any more then i have but it was only right to tell you, also Twilight was Spikes caretaker, now that she’s…” Celestia cleared her throat. “ she’s no longer able to live with spike, some pony would have live with him, i understand you all have your own busy lives, and i understand that spike is already 18. What i’m proposing is that each of you have spike stay in your own houses for a week each, if not...he will have to live in the dragon lands and like all the other dragons, he won't be permitted back in ponyville. Any questions?”
Nopony said a word due to disbelief, their friend, and basically Spike’s sister was gone.it was very quiet in the castle room until one of the guards trotted into the room.
“Your highness, the last train leaves in 15 minutes, if your guests are leaving they should get going soon” the guard spoke in a proud voice right before he left.
“If there are no questions, i think it's best you get going..i...i don't think i want any company right now” the princess ordered with sadness in her eyes.
Every pony walked out in silence, and got to the train station, still it was quiet, the whole ride home was silent, the only interactions between the group being sad eyed eye contact.
As they all got off the train, it was dark, no pony was around and all they could hear were the slight breezes passing by their ears until Rarity spoke up. “I understand that no one wants to speak right now, the situation is ever so devastating, but we need to work out living arrangements immediately, we can't let Spike be banished to the dragon lands”

“Spike...Spike...Spike” a strange and faint voice said from all around him as Spike awoke in a plane white room.
Spike woke up on a familiar red couch, his eyes back to their normal shade of lime green. He sat up scratching his head looking at the familiar surroundings, he was in Carousel Boutique. Spike stood and walked toward the door, only for it to open up quickly knocking him onto his back.
“Oh, sorry sugar cube, we just had to get these here, bags in” AJ said as she held the door for Rarity who was levitating three bags with a her magic as she trotted through the door.
“Oh, Spikey you're awake, could you help me with your bags?” the unicorn said with a smile.
“of course Rarity” Spike said standing as he grabbed two of the bags from the air and they lost their aura surrounding them.
Rarity smiled and looked Spike. “Get ready for a week of fabulous”

Spike woke up to the smell of freshly cooked toast, he stretched and yawned then walked into the kitchen, were Rarity was quickly scrambling trying to cook breakfast.
“uh...Rarity, do you always cook so frantically?” the dragon asked stepping closer, halting her to a stop.
“ oh, sorry darling, i don’t usually cook like this but in the pamphlet” Rarity pointed to a book on the table. “ it says that dragons eat three times more than a normal pony.”
“Well that would be true considering if i was a normal dragon” spike said sitting down at the table but never letting his eyes leave Rarity.
“Why, whatever do you mean?” the fashionista asked surprised.
“Oh, well that's most unfortunate, ill put away all of this unnecessary food then” with that the pearl white unicorn turned around toward the stove swishing her tail left and right giving
Spike stood trying to get a better look at the sparkles, but the moment his butt left his chair it was as if the cup of Orange juice could fly as it flung off the counter and covering Rarity’s mane, tail, and her face and the fashionista screamed, unsure of what was coating her.
“Rarity calm down it's just Orange juice” the dragon said walking up to her.
“Oh…I apologize for screaming then” Rarity said with her eyes squeezed shut. “ could you direct me to the bathroom spikey, so i can wash this off?”
“Oh, sure Rarity” with that, he out his hand on Rarity’s head and began walking down to the bathroom. Once inside he helped Rarity into the tub.
“Oh no...i just realised something that is most dreadful!” Rarity shrieked as she stood in the tub.
“What is it?” Spike asked, genuinely curious.
“Well at the moment that seems to be our option, but i couldnt ask you to do that for me”
“It's ok, you're letting me stay here, so it's the least i can do”
“Well, alright but no funny business mister” she joked trying to sound like a disapproving mom.
“Yes ma’am” spike replied almost laughing at the joke but keeping the laughter to himself. The dragon slowly reached out and grabbed the shampoo, applying a reasonable amount onto his scaly left hand, using the right hand he put down the bottle and and turned on the water, then began applying the shampoo to the very top of her mane.
“Thank you again Spike, you don’t know how good this feels, with your claws doing such expert movements, you should give me a massage some time” the fashionista joked, her eyes still shut. Spike blushed at the comment and persisted his hand movements on her head, then he moved down to her back, Rarity shivered as his clawed hands moved down her spine. Spike was hesitant at first but then went on and started spreading the shampoo through her tail, trying to resist the urge to look at her private lower lips but ultimately failing.After about 2 minutes of rubbing her tail and staring at her sex Rarity spoke.
“I think that's enough Spike, could you cut the water on?” the unicorn asked still having her eyes shut.
Quickly snapping out of his daze the dragon answered “huh, sure Rarity” Spike reached over towards the tub’s handle he stopped midway when something hit the side of the tub, he looked down only to see his massive erection quickly coming from beneath its scales.
“Oh no, oh no, please not now, if I cut on the water she’ll be able to open her eyes!” the dragon thought, his hand resting on the handle unable to move out of pure fear.
“Spike, are you ok? Do you not know how to work the tub?” Rarity asked with a caring voice.
“Um..sorry” out of pure embarrassment he tripped into the tub, with his right claw still on Rarity’s back she came down with him, his fall also caused his left claw to turn the water on. Rarity flopped over and landed on his chest, the rest of her body reaching down to his thoughts, causing his erection to lightly lay on her anus. The running water took all the soap out Rarity’s mane and cleaned her face so she opened her eyes, only to be face to face with a blushing spike.
“Spike, I can tell your um...rather excited, about our current predicament” The fashionista shyly said not daring to move, and huge blush on her face.
Spike looked into Rarity’s eyes then looked down at the rest of her steaming hot body then slowly said to her “I want you”
Rarity trying comprehend what she just heard asked “what was that Spike?”

After about 40 seconds of sitting still in the bathtub, purple and blue sparkles floated in front of his face, spelling words that shocked him. “You were too late.”
