A shadow's tale

The fire pony growled, Eclipse had been disobeying him a lot lately, trying to escape him many times.

He'd have to teach her a lesson, he had a number of things planned, oh this would be fun.

Eclipse sat in her room..well..more of a cell, two shadows formed into ponies, their grey eyes holding anger, sympathy and sadness.

-This is outrageous! Milady you have to get away!- the one with light grey eyes and swirls said angrily, clearly in an enraged state at the treatment his princess was getting.

_Are you well milady? Has he hurt you again?_ the one with dark grey eyes and swirls moved closer to her, trying to locate any injuries to which the mare shook her head.

the two shadow guards frowned, their lady did this every time, saying she was fine when in reality she wasn't.

But all well...they guessed she was right, as of yet she had no new injuries.

As jake stormed to eclipse's room, a large smile on his face, his fire crackled in excitement at just the thought of the red-eyed mare's screams caused him to shudder in joy.

As eclipse talked with the two shadows her door slammed open, causing her to flinch and the shadows to dissipate and hide as jake walked into the room. Fire glowing brightly.

"ooh dear eclipse~ time for a punishment"

Jake purred sadistically.

eclipse sighed and lowered her head, both in conditioned obedience and fear.

But anger, though small,  was also present.

Instantly eclipse felt the sensation of fire biting her sides, causing her to let out a strangled yell as jakes red flames violently pricked at her body.

"haha learning yet!?" jake laughed loudly over eclipses sounds of pain.

While in the corner, two shadows frowned in anger.

Quietly hissing at the pony of fire.

they wanted to help their lady, but if they did they risked causing the plan to fail, and they could not have that.

-I will kill him for this!- the older shadow hissed, glaring at the pony of fire.

_as will I, but we must wait, milady has a plan and I will not let it fail_ whispered the younger,

both were mad, they were fuming, but they had to stay hidden, for the sake of their lady they would stay as calm as they could
