Equestria Girls: SpyHunter
It had only been a week since the whole fiasco at Camp Everfree, but that week felt more like a month to Sunset Shimmer and the rest of her friends who felt like they had been on a roller coaster of a stay there, in fact, it was, as one could say. In the process of their stay, they gained new powers that in the end helped them defeat Gloriosa Daisy, a camp counselor who ended up letting the power of Equestrian magic take too much control and ended up causing more damage than what good she intended to do. But as per usual for the girls, she was stopped and in the end managed to help her save Camp Everfree from being turned into a spa. Now since then things had been rather quiet for the seven. Nothing new and exciting had been happening ever since the week they returned from Camp. However, not just no more that a week later, the Humane 7 and the rest of CHS would be in for a surprise like no other....
In the outskirts of the city...
Driving through the countryside, a G-6155 Interceptor was pressing on the gas. The driver inside had got a message on his car which was reminding him to investigate the weird things happening at Canterlot High School, but more specifically, spy on students Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity. Pulling up their profiles in his car he also had a secondary objective of meeting up with former agent Sweetie Drops, whom he pulled out her profile as well, and work with her to spy on the seven. What warranted them being spied on? Well, it has something to do with footage being leaked onto the internet and said footage trying to be disproved by the school's staff at being fake. However the footage said otherwise as in every piece of footage, the camera persona nearly died. The agent knew his objectives, and the agent knew he had to do it, for it was a matter of national security. Suddenly, his train of thought was interrupted by his car alerting him to Nostra presence in the area. The agent only smirked as he turned on the Interceptor's defenses. Two machine guns then came up from the hood of the Interceptor and at the same time from the alleyways came two black 1946 Triumph Roadsters, otherwise known as switchblades because of the blade that came from the side of it, and three black and red 1937 Delahaye 135MS roadsters, otherwise known as Dead eyes due to the large machine gun that came from the back of it and the two from the headlights.
"Seriously? Switchblades and Dead eyes? After all I've been through, being with IES, and trying to stop them at every turn you'd think Nostra would learn by now that their simplest of henchmen ain't enough," The Agent sighed as he found himself surrounded.
But not for long, because the two Dead eyes and Switchblade behind him were quickly gone and destroyed because the agent had turned on the oil slick and quickly got rid of them leaving only the Dead eye and Switchblade in front of him which were quickly mowed down by his own machine guns.
"No challenge at all," The Agent said a little cocky.
Suddenly hearing the sound of an eighteen wheeler behind him, the agent looked to see a huge 18 wheeler truck, minus the back trailer, heading for him.
"That's more like it!" The agent said happily as he slammed on the gas.
But as he did he passed by a sign reading, "WELCOME TO CANTERLOT." The agent managed to catch a glimpse of said sign and smirked as his destination came ever so closer.

Meanwhile back at CHS....
The hallways were quiet, the students were in their assigned classrooms, everything was looking like it was supposed to be like a normal high school. And then.... RIIINNNG.... all hell broke lose when the school bell rang, just like always. Students piled out of the classrooms quickly, some chatting with friends, some getting the stuff out of their locker, some doing both, I applaud those multitaskers, and some having a chat with their teachers either trying to smooth their way towards a greater grade or downright complaining about said grade they got. It was all just seemingly like a normal day. But this is Canterlot High School, there's always something abnormal going on over there somehow someway.
"OW!" Flash Sentry yelled as Sunset slammed her locker door right into his face
"Flash! Oh, my god, I'm so sorry!" Sunset said checking up on her friend, "Are you alright?!"
"Yeah I'm fine, it's my fault, though, I snuck up on you without giving ya a heads up warning," Flash said rubbing his nose.
"Well, um, why did you come to see me anyways?" Sunset asked.
"Didn't you get the news text earlier today?" Flash said, "The news stations' are reporting old 1940's roadsters destroyed just outside the city and an 18 wheeler totally demolished near town hall!"
"Wha?!" Sunset said before checking her phone, "Oh my god you're right! Who or what could've done this?!"
"Ya think it has something to do with Equestrian Magic?" Flash asked.
"I don't know, and I hope it's not," Sunset said, "we just got through dealing with Equestrian Magic a week ago, fighting Equestrian Magic two times nearly side by side is something none of us are prepared for."
"Well you might wanna keep those pendants close by just in case, though," Flash suggested, "ya never know when they might come in handy. Also, speaking of Equestrian Magic, how's Twilight and Timber been?"
"They're still being their dorky selves." Sunset said, "But I wonder how long it will take Twilight to finally realize he's older than her."
"Good god the implications...." Flash groaned facepalming.
But then he snapped out of it quickly.
"Whoa, who's that?!" Flash said.
Sunset then looked and saw someone walking down the hallway she never saw before. The person in question was roughly around the same height as Flash, but a few centimeters taller. He wore a gray hoodie, with its little design on the front being two lightning bolts, one red and one blue, crossing over a white shield, over a white t-shirt. Along with that, he wore black pants, gray converse sneakers, and a gray beanie. His hair was slick and blonde, his beard and mustache combo being the same color, and his eyes were blue-green while his skin was that of a natural blue.
"I've never seen him before, you?" Sunset asked Flash.
"Nnnope," Flash said doing an impression of Big Mac.
"Let's go see who he his," Sunset said motioning for Flash to follow him.
They then approached the man in question who stopped in his tracks as soon as the two came in front of him.
"Can I help you?" He asked.
"Well, we've never seen you around here before, who are you?" Sunset asked.
"I'm Lightning Vanguard." He replied, "I'm here because I transferred here from another school."
"A transfer student eh? Guess that explains why we've never seen you before," Flash said, "I'll take you to Principal Celestia's office so you can get settled in. Sunset, go on and get to class, I'll be joining you later."
With a small nod Sunset left and Flash lead Lightning to Principal Celestia's office.
"Well I'd love to stay and chat, but I've got to get to class before I get another tardy slip. Hope to catch ya later!" Flash said before running off.
And when Flash was out of sight Lightning sighed.
"Looks like that off hand lie was able to fool them." Lightning said to himself, "Former Agent Sweetie Drops should be around here somewhere."
"You rang?"
Lightning the looked to his left to see Sweetie Drops in question.
"Ahh, Sweetie Drops. It's been a long time since you left IES. How are you doing?" Lightning asked.
"I would be better if Equestrian Magic wasn't running rampant around here," Sweetie Drops huffed.
"What did you say?" Lightning asked quickly.
"First off, WHY is an IES agent here?" She asked.
"I was sent to investigate CHS because of footage leaked from the last event of the Friendship Games," He answered.
"You mean people actually recorded that?!" She shouted.
Lightning only nodded.
"I've been sent here to work with you on spying on Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack," Lightning said, "IES has taken an interest in them. They fear if Nostra was to find out about them they would be used for all of Nostra's evil intentions."
"Well how long do you plan on staying here? Because the longer I have to deal with an IES agent breathing down my neck the closer I'll get to losing my sanity," Sweetie Drops said.
"I hope it's not long. I'm just staying until I gather enough data to conclude whether or not they can be used by IES or not-"
"Wait, used by IES?!" Sweetie Drops replied.
"IES wants to know whether or not we can use them to finally take down Nostra. For all of Nostra's talk of not being evil to the public, Nostra has been thumbing its nose at IES for years," Lightning stated before pulling out a badge, "I know you feel the same way. You used to go on missions to stop Nostra all the time. Remember the Four Horsemen? Or the Ark in the Antarctic? Or Decker Cards? Or-"
"OKAY, I GET IT!" Sweetie Drops shouted, "I know. I used to be one of your best agents. But that was a long time ago. Back when I lied about my age and height just to join my mom's business. I thought it would be just fun, until.... you know."
"The original Sweetie Drops was killed by Nostra following your last mission with Decker," Lightning said.
"After that, I took my mother's name for my last few missions and then I just quit because the guilt was too much for me..." Sweetie Drops explained.
"I know it's not easy to forgive yourself for past mistakes, but IES needs you right now. These seven girls could be the key we need to finally stopping Nostra once and for all!" Lightning said handing Sweetie Drops the badge, "And you can help be the catalyst for-"
"Lightning I know your tricks. You're trying to guilt trip me into joining IES again, temporarily, aren't you? Well, guess what? I'm only accepting your offer right now so you can't keep bugging me with your guilt tripping," Sweetie Drops said taking the badge, "But this is only temporary Lightning, TEMPORARY! Afterward, you can tell IES to LEAVE, ME, ALONE!"
"If that is what you wish then so be it," Lightning said, "I'll meet up with you later at the library. I've gotta go in and explain to the principal that I'm a new student so she doesn't suspect anything."
"You so owe me an Interceptor ride after this," Sweetie Drops groaned.
Equestria Girls: SpyHunter
Lunch time soon began and Sunset and Flash joined up with the rest of the Humane 7 along with Gloriosa and Timber Spruce.
"Did any of you girls see the new guy?" Flash asked the group.
"Nope," They, minus Sunset and Flash, replied.
"I didn't even know there was a new guy," Gloriosa replied.
"Sunset and I met him in the halls, his name's Lightning Vanguard." Flash explained, "He's a transfer student, but he didn't say from what school."
"He looked to be in a rush," Sunset added.
"Weird," Twilight said.
Unknown to the group, they were being watched and listened in on by Lightning and Sweetie Drops.
"Anyways, back to other matters." Sunset said, "Like trying to figure out where all this Equestrian Magic is coming from."
"Anybody got any ideas?" Flash asked.
They all shook their heads.
"Well, either way, anybody else got the local news text about those roadsters and 18 wheeler?" Flash asked the group.
"I got the text," Twilight said.
"Me too," Timber said
"As did I." Rarity said.
"We all pretty much got the text," Rainbow said.
"Probably just another car wreck," Applejack said.
"No way, that ain't possible," Flash said, "the text said that they were destroyed in separate locations. Not to mention the Roadsters were found to have blades and helicopter grade machine guns all over them as well as oil on their tires. Plus the 18 wheeler was blown up with what remained of rocket fuel found at the site. And rocket fuel isn't exactly cheap. So something else probably caused it."
"Yeah, but it's not like as if it's Equestrian Magic," Twilight pointed out.
"Rocket fuel's not that easy to come by Twilight. You of all people should know this." Timber pointed out, "Rocket fuel is used in space rockets and missiles and those two things alone are military grade hardware and I'm not an expert on the area in Canterlot, but I am dead certain that there is no rocket testing lab in the city. If there was I'm pretty certain there would've been a warning about a missile heading towards the city they would've released. Those things can cause some pretty nasty explosions. Taking a look at the pic of the 18 wheeler provided in the text, it looks like it was caused by a controlled explosion, but there's no way it could've been a controlled explosion because of the rocket fuel. Rocket fuel causes explosions that can destroy concrete and pavement and level housing if used right. Plus I'm also pretty sure the government would've released a press statement warning everyone in the city about a rogue missile heading towards us if we take the rogue missile theory into account. Either way, there are not a lot of options to go off of that can make this whole thing seem plausible. The only other plausible educated guess I can think of is we've got another case of Equestrian Magic on our hands right now."
The whole group at the table just looked at Timber with a face of utter confusion and shock. Lightning and Sweetie Drops had the same look.
"H-how do you breathe?" Twilight asked.
"Twilight, it's basic rocket science anyone can figure that out," Timber said.
"How does he function," Lightning said to himself.
"But there's no possible way it could be Equestrian Magic. Equestrian Magic has shown before that it is unstable and can only be destructive unless the host is destructive." Sunset pointed out, "Just look at me and Twilight for example. When we were infused with Equestrian Magic we became uber-destructive to the environment around us. No offense."
"None taken," Twilight sighed.
"But then look at Gloriosa. She tried to use Equestrian Magic to help save what she loved. That was a good thing, but because she didn't know how to control it, it ended up causing more harm than good, no offense," Sunset said.
"None taken," Gloriosa said.
"And then there's Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash. They got their Equestrian Magic from the other Twilight when she came to get her crown back because they were just like her friends from her world. But unlike me, Gloriosa, and our Twilight, they were able to control their magic because of the other Twilight's help. It took me and our Twilight a long time before we were finally able to control it. For Twilight it was when were up against Gloriosa, and for me, it was when I was helping the other Twilight against the Dazzlings." Sunset explained, "Come to think of it the Dazzlings have been gone for a long time. The more I think about it the more I feel guilty that we took away their ability to sing. They pretty much needed it in order to live now that I think about it. Oh god, I hope they're alive and okay."
"Let's just hope they aren't causing any trouble at least," Applejack said.
"Man it just seems like Equestrian Magic follows you guys everywhere," Timber said.
"You don't even know the half of it," Rarity said.
"I'm just sort of the unlucky one of the group," Flash said, "I-it's not even my fault, though! I don't exactly have any Equestrian Magic of my own to defend myself! If I did half of the situations I got into could've been me helping out the girls! I wanna help them I really do! But no matter what I always seem to end up on the short end of the stick! I-I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm practically a victim of circumstance around here and not once have I ever ended up in a good scenario. Whether it's being mind controlled by your ex-girlfriend, mind controlled by three mythical sirens into making yourself public enemy number 1 for making Twilight cry, making an utter mess of what was supposed to be an amazing banner for the friendship games representing our school, being utterly useless when the Friendship Games roll around, or just being nearly trapped for the rest of my life at what could've been a death camp, every situation I'm in either will either end in me being completely useless or being utterly helpless to do anything about it! It's like, no matter what, I'm always gonna be destined to be the next villain's punching bag or just become the most useless person EVER!"
Flash then slammed his head really hard onto the table.
"Ow," Flash groaned.
"Interesting..." Lightning said to Sweetie Drops.
"Yeah I'm not gonna lie this is actually kind of interesting," Sweetie said.
"Bon-Bon what are you doing!?"
Lightning and Sweetie Drops yelled in surprise turning around to see none other than Lyra Heartstrings.
"Bon-Bon, who is that," Lyra stated.
"He's my, uh..." Sweetie Drops stuttered.
"Cousin!" Lightning perked up, "I'm her cousin. Lightning Vanguard. I'm a transfer student!"
"Bon-Bon never told me she had a cousin," Lyra said.
"We, uh, don't exactly see each other very much," Sweetie Drops lied.
"Uh huh," Lyra deadpanned.
"Lyra, can you, uh, leave us alone for now? We need to do some catching up," Sweetie Drops said.
"Okie Dokie..." Lyra deadpanned before leaving.
"Oh my lord, that was a close one," Lightning said to Sweetie Drops, "Who even was that?"
"That's my girlfriend Lyra Heartstrings," Sweetie Drops said.
"I didn't know you were a lesbian," Lightning said.
"No one ever thinks I'm one," Sweetie Drops said.
The announce system then went off.
"Attention all students. This is Principal Celestia with an announcement. Director of the school board Star Forge will be coming to CHS tomorrow for the annual school inspection. Like always look your best, act right, and give Star Forge your best. That is all,"
"Star Forge?" Lightning said in shock as the intercom system went off.
"You know him?" Sweetie Drops asked.
"Me and him used to be partners until he and an Interceptor got caught by Nostra and taken away." Lightning explained, "I was able to destroy the stolen Interceptor, but I never saw Star Forge again."
"Wait a minute, I remember that! A G-8155 Interceptor was stolen by Nostra forces and I was called in to destroy it before Nostra could use it for its evil purposes! You were called in to destroy it too?!" Sweetie Drops said.
"Yeah I was the one driving the motorbike Interceptor," Lightning said.
"What caused it to go into motorbike mode? The Interceptors only go into motorbike mode when it's been critically damaged," Sweetie Drops.
"Nostra found out that I was heading after Star Forge and sent helicopters and a monster eighteen wheeler after me. Those things banged me up quite well," Lightning explained.
"You think he's working for Nostra?" Sweetie Drops said.
"Don't even say that! I'd like to think not since he's clearly escaped," Lightning said.
The rest of the day was Lightning Vanguard and Sweetie Drops listening in and spying on the Humane 7. What they learned in the process was that Sunset, Twilight, Rainbow, Applejack, Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy could do something called 'pony up' where they channeled all of their Equestrian Magic to grow wings, hair extensions, and pony ears. And due to recent events they can do easily with special pendants similar to something they called 'the Elements of Harmony'. And throughout their findings, they recorded them on either an audio device or wrote it down into a notebook. By the end of the school day, Lightning and Sweetie Drops looked over all their findings.
"Looks like IES's suspicions were confirmed," Lightning said, "I need to report this back to base immediately. Sweetie Drops. Ya think I could crash at your place?"
"Well I guess so," Sweetie Drops said.
"My Interceptor's just out front. We can go as soon as the bell rings," Lightning said.
And right on cue, it rang. Lightning and Sweetie Drops nodded to each other before heading outside to the Interceptor.
"It's an older model, but it gets the job done," Lightning said as he got in on the driver's side.
"I know. I drove this model," Sweetie Drops said as she got in on the passenger's side.
As they drove off Sweetie Drops gave Lightning the coordinates to her apartment in the city. But upon entering the city.....
"Warning! Missile launch detected!" The Interceptor went off.
Before any of them could think, an explosion came from behind the interceptor.
"Warning! Haul integrity at 74%!" The Interceptor went.
Lightning looked in the back camera mirror to see a Nostra prototype Interceptor.
"Damn! Nostra Prototype!" Lightning went.
"What?! I thought I destroyed them all!" Sweetie Drops shouted.
"Apparently not. Hold on!" Lightning shouted.
Making a sharp right turn the Interceptor went down an alleyway, big enough for a car to get through, towards another section of the city. Said section was near Crystal Prep where the Nostra Prototype rounded a bend and was face to face with the Interceptor whose machine guns and missiles were out now. Meanwhile, the Crystal Prep students, including its principal Abacus Cinch was watching it all go down from the windows. The Interceptor and Nostra Prototype drove towards each other shooting at each other with their machine guns until the Interceptor shot a few missiles at the Prototype causing it to smoke as it swerved past the Interceptor and skidded to a halt. But that was its grave and final mistake as the Interceptor had fully turned around and fired its machine guns at it eventually blowing it up. Skidding to a halt the Interceptor's defenses lowered and then stepping on the gas, a.k.a initiating its short time turbo, it zoomed away leaving the Crystal Prep students in wonder.
"Th-that was an IES Interceptor!" Cinch said, "What is that doing here?! Wait a moment. Of course! IES is interested in those seven girls! I was told IES might come around here, but I didn't listen. Now IES is here and most likely after the girls. I'll need to keep an eye on that car."
Going to her office she picked up her phone and dialed a number.
"Boss? This is agent Abacus Cinch. We have a problem. An IES problem."
