‘So she can use average telicanieces and levitation now what else can she do I wonder but I was too busy griping to myself I missed it I’ll just have to ask her to do it again’ thought Rarity as she looked over to her sisters work of art.

“Um, Rarity?” asks Sweetie as she listens to her sister rambling about something. ‘Weird’ she thought of her sister's behavior as she looked at what she’d done to the table.

“Huh oh, yes darling,” said Rarity as came out of her head.

“Are you alright your rambling again?” Asks Sweetie wondering what was bothering her sister so much.

“Oh yes, Sweetie just thinking can you do it again uh um oh could you pick up the pincushion again I um,” began Rarity not sure how to tell her without saying what was going through her head when she wasn’t paying attention.

“You weren’t looking were you?” asked Sweetie ‘figures’ she thinks as she ready’s her magic again.

“Uh um no darling I’m sorry I was just um” tried rarity as she thinks of what she should say.

“It’s ok just watch this time,” said Sweetie as she levitated one of the pincushions so her sister could see it following with the rest of them one after the other.

‘So she really can that's great now how strong are you then’ thought Rarity as she watches her sister send the cushions into an orbit around each other than around herself and her.

“You mean like this?” asked Sweetie as she levitated the pin cushions around her and her sister in a circle wondering what was on her sister mind.

“Oh yes darling wonderful now um how much weight do you think you can move?” said Rarity curious to see what her sister could do.

“Um I don’t know,” said Sweetie why does she want to know these things it’s not like she’s shown any interest in my magic before?’ she wondered as she thought of what she might be able to lift.

“Well, why don’t we just see,” said Rarity as she looked around for something her sister could use.

“Um ok,” said Sweetie as she concentrated on levitating the pin cushions ‘isn’t this enough, what are you looking for’ she wondered as she watched her sister get up and roam about looking high and low.

"Now heavy what can I use, oh this’ thought Rarity going through her boutique as she looked for something to test her sister's strength. ‘Now this will do’ she contemplates as she grabbed an iron from one of the shelves as she made her way back to the table.

‘Huh she can’t expect me to lift that’ thought Sweetie as her sister sat down seeing a large cloths iron in her sister magic grasp. ‘Eh she does’ she concludes as she watched her sister set it on the table.

“Now darling I know you're unsure but just try and see,” said Rarity reassuringly putting her hoof to rest on her sister.

“Uh ok,” said Sweetie a bit nervous as she began wrapping her magic around the iron and tried lifting it.

“Ha sweetie that’s great” let out Rarity exited as she sees her sister easily levitate a ten-pound object. ‘This is good I wonder’ thought rarity getting an idea.

“Huh oh he-heh yeah, yea,” said Sweetie timidly not understanding her sister excitements.

“Oh, darling is something wrong?” asks Rarity hearing her sister’s tone.

“It’s nothing I just don’t know why you’re so excited it’s just a silly old iron” answered Sweetie as she turned said iron in a circle looking at what to her was insignificant.

“Sweetie, darling it’s more than just that you haven’t even dropped a single pincushion dear are you feeling ok?” asked Rarity as she put her hoof to her sister.

"NO I mean yeah it’s just I miss my friends that’s all,” said Sweetie a bit defensively as she dropped the iron with a thud before catching the cushions as they stopped rotating.

“…” ‘I never thought about how she might feel oh darling just relax we’ll figure this out’ thought Rarity realizing her sister might be in as much anguish as she was.

“Rarity it’s ok sis do you know what they’ve been up to?” asks Sweetie trying to distract herself from how she felt devoting herself to her sister.

‘oh, why does this have to be so complicated huh’ thought Rarity before hearing her sister. “Oh um no darling I… I haven't been out much lately,” said Rarity.

‘he-heh Rarity it’s ok I know you’ve been cooped up here for awhile but you can’t shut yourself out from them and you cant shut yourself out from them forever it’s what I’ve been trying to tell you since I woke up” said sweetie calmly.

“Oh?...” ‘….” Let out rarity not sure how to respond.

“Rarity I think I’ve had enough practice for one day besides you still need to get a book or two from Twilight,” said Sweetie explaining. “Grrrr hmph” “think I don’t know” came back Sweetie knowing her sister well enough to know she was angry at Twilight. Can I ask why you’re upset with her?” she finished.

“….groan Sweetie Belle how could you not know she might as well as be responsible for your de… you’re condition!?” half chided Rarity her voice with a dark edge to it as she tried to understand how her sister wasn’t angry as well.

“Giggle Rarity do you know the main rule of the blame game and why it exists?” asked Sweetie giggling at her sister's pouty attitude.

“Huh-uh what do you mean?” questions Rarity not understanding.

“I mean this, it works because there’s always something the other could have done differently just like I could have, should have waited for you and just like you know what you think might have well, prevented it. you don’t think she feels the same?” explained Sweetie confidently
“she's probably been beating herself up over it like you’ve been doing over the false assumption she could have done something to stop it like ...sigh the fact is sis she didn’t exactly give all of them to me I used spike as a distraction and took a book I knew was too high for me; but she caught me. long story short I tell her that I’m just going to look at it I played her like a harp and she let me take it. giving me another book she said was some kind of dictionary that would help me understand what did what and what meant what and she makes me pinky swear not to even try casting a single spell from it. but the thing is it was all premeditated I had found a spell that would let me take a piece of myself and put it into something else. the other books were the same I didn’t ask for any of them but I had been reading and marking pages with the spells that went with what I had in mind. Rarity the thing your warring around your neck that’s now essentially me my new home it took me three months to make and enchant it wasn’t Intel I had made the final enchantments that I thought about asking for help. I did really, really want it to be a surprise; but I thought about asking you to help me cast the spell that would take a piece of me and put it in it and it’s that spell that…’killed’ me sis no matter what you or she could have done. she couldn’t have done anything because she didn’t know neither did you the only one that could have prevented this is me sis so the blame game always points to me. it’s my fault I’m, well I think I’m dead-ish no I’m not dead I just don’t have a body anymore it according to what the spell says it turned into raw magic and got absorbed by the amulet like it was supposed to. it just wasn’t supposed to be all of me so aside from not having a body I'm fine maybe not in your eyes but I am alive aren’t I and this pendant is my body now,” finished Sweetie softly as she thinks of what she should have done differently.

“Well darling I think that’s enough for today,” said Rarity as she looked at all the things her sister was holding in her magic. ‘huh now I can say my boutique is haunted heh-heh quite’ she thought as she looked about her home seeing almost everything in her home floating about from the silverware, pots, and pans in her kitchen to the table, chairs, and China to her furniture, marrequin’s dresses and fabric.

“Ohh good I’m tired uh…um rarity could you help me um put it dawn I just don’t want to break anything” said sweetie relieved as she went to put something down only to have everything go with it.

“Oh sure darling I’ll handle the plates and knives you deal with the fabric,” said Rarity as she grabbed the plates one by one and put them in the china cabinet.

“Thank you,” said, Sweetie, as she concentrated on not breaking anything.

“Of course darling,” said Rarity finding that she couldn’t take anything out of her sisters magic grasp but could rather move them as if they were all tied to balloons. ‘ she has too much oh darling there’s only so much you can grab before you lose the ability to selectively control them dear’ thought Rarity picking up on her sister’s problem as she went about guiding everything to where it belonged. “So um Sweetie dear what’s on your mind?” She asked as she finished putting the china away, following suit with the silverware and pans.

“huh oh um sigh a lot actually like how long has it been and why I wouldn’t wait so you could help me or why I didn’t ask twilight and what are my friends up to oh do they have their marks yet?” began Sweetie as she looked around at everything she was holding.

“…well sniffle to answer your first, five months” answered Rarity getting emotional as she held back tears.

“What!-crash bang clang shatter bonk rumble-” let out Sweetie losing her concentration as everything came down with a crash.

“Whaah!” let out Rarity trying frantically to catch as much as she could using the already floating fabric as makeshift nets.

“I’m sorry. I. I... Please don’t be mad” let out Sweetie as she expected her sister to yell at her.’ Ugh why’d I just lose it like that?’ she questions herself.

“Unghmmgh sigh giggle” let out Rarity as she got angry before swallowing it giggling remembering what it felt like as she remembers the little things she used to get upset about smiling as she set the fabric containing most of her stuff down seeing the furniture in a mess and just giggling at it in a sort futures to presents past reverie.

‘Now look what you’ve done you ruin everything huh’ thought Sweetie berating herself before she heard what she thought was a light chuckle followed by a giggle or two. Shouldn’t she be made I just broke everything?’ she thought confused as she listened.

“Oh giggle, darling, your fine look I caught it,” said Rarity comfortingly as she started putting things where they belonged.

“Huh but I thought I…” began Sweetie looking around to find the only thing to have gone awry was the furniture

"sorry?" said sweetie 'why isn't she mad with me?' she wondered as she watched her sister just giggle at the mess she'd mad of things.

giggle darling honestly this is nothing but could you repeat what you said about this being your fault I thought you said you tricked twilight into giving you what got you killed thought I think I'm just hearing things" said rarity calmly. 'easy she just didn't know any better heheh gulp' she thought uneasily.

"heheh 'sure' its my fault gulp" let out sweetie nervously. 'please don't kill me well at least I cant I hop I cant gulp' she thought at recognizing her sister inquiring tone.
