Training And Ghosts

You follow Torishy through the ruins, taking in the underrated beauty. You felt safe with her, unlike that other pony you saw earlier. You began to think about what she said.

“In this world, it's KILL or BE KILLED!”

It sent a shiver down your spine. The thought of someone killing you unexpectedly was something that you always feared. You look at Torishy, who was still walking in silence. She notice you looking at her, and smiles.

“My child, you are safe with me,” she said. “I know this is a lot to handle, but you just have to stay calm. Just follow me.”

Suddenly, everything bad you thought about the mare in front of you went away. It was clear that she cared about you. You began to walk a bit faster, catching up to her.

After a bit of walking, the mare stopped. In front of her was some sort of plush looking pony. Its coat of fur was replaced with orange fabric, and its mane and tail was now made from red yarn.

“This is a test dummy. I want you to prove what you are,” the mare said, getting your attention. “It would be best of you tried to give it mercy, but you could fight it too, if you want to.”

Almost immediately after she finished her sentence, the black box from when you met Pinkie appeared in front of you. But, in the top of the box, three smaller, orange boxes appeared, each reading a different word.

FIGHT, ACT, and MERCY.

You decide to follow what Torishy said and pushed on the act box with your finger. A new box showed up in front of you, showing your options.

Check or Talk.

You chose to talk to the dummy. It didn't seem much for conversation, as it didn't reply to what you said. You looked back at Torishy, who was now smiling at what you did. The boxes disappeared as a new box showed up in front of you.

YOU WON! You got 0 LV!

As that box faded out, you realize that Torishy was gone. You figured that she had left and was now waiting for you in another room. You take one final look at the orange dummy before walking into the next room of the ruins.

You’ve been walking for what felt like forever, and you still haven't found Torishy. She couldn't have walked that far at the end of that “fight” with the dummy. Whatever the case, you were just left all alone, exploring the ruins of the underground.

As you looked, you saw something odd lying on the ground in a pile of rose petals. It appeared to have the head of a pony, with a pair of headphones on it's ears, but it's body was similar to that of a ghost. You went up to it, noticing that was saying something almost indescribable.

“Zzzzz. Zzzzz. Zzzzz (Is he gone?) Zzzzz.”

It seems that this ghost pony doesn't know how to pretend to fall asleep, as it continues to repeat the letter Z several times. You decide to move it out of your way so you could get going to find the certain yellow pegasus. As you mode it, its eyes slowly open, revealing its dark red pupils.

“Oh, am I in your way,” It asked. “I'm sorry. My name’s Napstascratch. I'm the ghost of a pony who died in the war between our kind and the humans. It's sad, but I'm trying to get through live as a ghost.”

She moves a bit to let you pass. “Here, go on ahead. You seem to have somewhere to be. I hope to see you again soon.”

She faded out of sight is you walk past where she was. You were a bit confused about what just happened, but you had a strong feeling that you stay this way throughout your journey.

After a ton of walking, you come across something else that made you stop in your tracks. It was a large tree, yet it was light yellow and had no leaves on it. All the leaves have fallen to the ground, and they appeared to be light pink, similar to Torishy’s mane.

“Oh dear, I’m sorry left without you knowing.” Well, speak of the devil. “I had to prepare something for you. I hope you like it.”

The pegasus went up to you and held out a hoof, asking you to hold onto it. You proceeded to do so, knowing you are safe with her. She begins to walk past the tree, heading towards some sort of building. It was purple, like the rest of the bricks in the ruins, but it had a few small windows and a large door.

“Come, my child,” the mare said. “Let's head home.”

There's a strong feeling in your heart. You don't know why, but seeing a small house like this makes you feel something.

You were filled with

DETERMINATION!
