After school finished Twilight, Dual Blade, and Rainbow Dash were walking home. When all of a sudden Twilight looked down.

Dual noticed this and looked at her. "Hey Twi, you ok?" he asked as RD also looked at Twi.

Twilight looked at him. "Yeah, I just.....have a lot on my mind."

"Wanna talk about it?"

Twilight stayed silent.

"If you don't want to that's fine. I'm just worried about you." After he said that Twilight and Dash's ears both perked up and they looked at him, Twilight was blushing while RD smirked.

"Oh you're worried about her huh?" asked Rainbow teasingly. "Is Dual Blade finally gonna be a stallion and fuck Twilight Sparkle?"

"RAINBOW!" Screamed Dual Blade and Twilight, While RD just laughed.

"No, not like that. I'm just worried about her." He then turned and smiled at Twilight. "as a friend" he finished, putting a hand on her shoulder as Twilight smiled back.

Rainbow Dash then hugged herself and teasingly started to make believe she was French Kissing somepony.

Twilight and Dual Blade both glared at her, as she stopped and shrugged her shoulders "I'm just joking, and that's why you guys love me."

After walking for a while they finally got to Twilight's house. Rainbow Dash spoke. "Hey Twi, you up for a movie?" she asked.

They always watch movies on Monday and Friday nights, and Twilight loves them. "Yeah, sure. Your place?"

"Yeah" Rainbow answered. "We're gonna do it after DB gets outta work at that cheap ass movie place." She then looked at Dual Blade, "I thought they fired your sorry ass dude."

Dual Blade nodded. "They did, 3 times, but the manager likes me enough that he gave me one final chance."

Twilight giggled a little. "Alright, what time?" she asked.

"Wait for us around 5" said Rainbow.

"Alright, see ya" said Twilight waving.

"Bye"

Twilight walked into her house and locked the door, while putting her bag down and walked into the living room, sitting down on the couch.

She then sighed and grabbed the remote, turning on the news. The news anchor Cadence Cadenza was already talking.

"-still don't know who killed Rarity Belle, But the police think it has a connection to 43-year-old Twilight Velvet-"
'They then showed a headshot of Velvet as Cadence continued.'
"who was raped and killed last year, The murderer was 30-year-old Big Macintosh who was arrested-"
'They then cut to a video clip of a red stallion with a blondish mane being taken by cops.'
"Thanks to a witness' testimony given by 17 year old Twilight Sparkle, who stated she saw Mr. Macintosh leaving the scene of the crime when it happened-"

Twilight had enough and turned off the TV trying to hold back tears. She then looked to her right and saw a picture of her mother and herself, and that was what caused her to just let go.

Tears ran down Twilight's face as she was holding the picture in her hands and hugged it in her chest. After a few minutes had passed the phone rang.

Twilight wiped her tears and answered it, hearing her father's voice on the other line. "Hey, how's my little princess doing?"

Twilight laughed a little. "Hey Dad, I'm doing alright"

"Listen, Twilight I'm actually going on a business trip and I won't be back till Sunday. Will you be okay there by yourself?"

"Yeah, don't worry."

"Okay, Goodnight little one"

Twilight smiled. "Dad, I'm 17."

"Hey even when your 50 you'll still be my little girl, Now don't you forget that K?"

"Alright, love you."

"Love you too princess, goodbye"

Twilight hung up the phone and shook her head playfully, Her dad was always such a goofball and its hard to believe he still is since his wife died last year, but he always knows to stay positive.

Twilight then looked at the time and it read 3:28, So then she decides to take a little shut eye since she doesn't want to sleep when she's gonna watch the movie with her friends. She spread her legs out on the couch and got comfortable, she then closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Twilight woke up to a phone ringing. She then rubbed her eyes and looked at the clock and it read 6:32.

"Shit" she said quietly thinking she missed the movie, She grabbed the phone and answered it hearing Rainbow Dash's voice on the other line.

"Shit, sorry for keeping you waiting Twi. Dual Blade said he has to fill in for somepony at work and he won't be out till 7:10."

Twilight looked outside and saw it was dark out. "It's ok Rainbow, we still gonna watch the movie?"

"Hell yeah we are." she answered. "I mean, unless you want to cancel it?, it's fine if you want."

"Nah, I'll wait" Twilight said.

"Ok, I'll call Dual Blade and tell him to pick your favorite."

"Awesome, see ya."

"Peace!"

Twilight put the phone back on the stand as she sat up and rubbed her eyes of her sleepiness, when all of a sudden the phone rang again.

Twilight sighed and picked up the phone, "Rainbow what is it this ti-"

"Hello, Twilight." Twilight was quickly interrupted by a voice she never heard before

Twilight blushed a little of embarrassment and laughed "Hi...um sorry....I though you were someone else.....Who's this?"

"Why don't you tell me?" said the voice.

"I...don't know..."

"You know Twilight, it's pretty scary here, you know with all the murders that happened it's like it's straight out of a scary movie or something."

Twilight thinks she caught on to who it is. "Heh, nice try Dual Blade you totally gave yourself away, you calling from work? Cuz Rainbow called me and she's on her way to pick me up."

Twilight then stood up to get her shoes while putting the call on speaker, "Do you like scary movies, Twi?" asked The voice.

Twilight decided to tease 'Dual Blade' a little seductively. "You know Blade, I love what your doing with your voice...it's sexy..."

She then stood up, grabbed the phone and turned it off speaker; putting it back in her ear and holding it in her shoulder, while trying to tie her shoes. "Do you have a favorite?" asked the voice.

Twilight sat up. "C'mon Blade you know I don't watch any of that."

"Why not?, too scared?"

"No, I'm just saying what's the point there all exactly the same. Some stupid supernatural killer stalking some big-breasted mare who can't act, who's always running up the stairs when she should either be fighting back or running out the front door. I just see it as an insult to us mares."

"Ah ok......are you alone?"

Twilight snickered a little. "Very cliché Dual Blade I'm disappointed in you, look when your off work call me ok?"

"Maybe I said that cliché because........I'm not Dual Blade."

"Oh yeah?, if your not Blade then who are you?"

"The question isn't "Who am I" the real question is "WHERE am I?""

"O.....kay so where are you?"

"Go out on the back porch."

Twilight decided to expose 'Dual Blade' that he wasn't outside. So she opened the patio door and checked each side of it and even the entire backyard. But 'Dual Blade' was not seen anywhere.

"Can you see me right now?" asked Twilight.

"Yes" said the voice.

Twilight then decided to be a smartass and test out his fact. "Oh yeah?" she said. She then held up her middle-finger way up high into the darkness and moving it from side to side.

"What am I doing?......Huh?......WHAT AM I DOING?! HELLO?!" She said. But there was no answer from the phone or outside. She then laughed again as she dropped her arm to her side and finally thinks she had enough.

"Very funny Dual Blade, you had your fun, hurry up ok? see ya." As she was about to hang up the voice got very angry.

"IF YOU HANG UP YOU'LL DIE JUST LIKE YOUR MOTHER YOU STUPID BITCH!"

Twilight paused in her place, she was scared and angry at the same time.

"Do you wanna die, Twilight?" asked the killer. "Your mother sure didn't."

She started to breathe heavily with anger while tears started to appear in her eyes. "Fuck you, cretin." She hung up the phone while running back inside and shut the door, locking it while still looking outside.

Out from behind her the killer ran from the living room pathway, and grabbed her from behind. Twilight dropped the phone as she and the killer were both struggling. Twilight elbowed the killer in his ribs until he let go of her. She tried to run but he tripped her and she fell to the ground.

The killer went on top of her, grabbed her and pinned her to the wall near the living room. He then took out his Buck 120 and tried to stab her, but she grabbed his arm with the knife and held it back. The killer had enough, he grabbed Twilight's hair and hit her head really hard against the wall.

Twilight stopped and grabbed her head as it started to throb from the pain, The killer then lightly showed her his knife by putting it close to her face, and Twilight could see a little bit of dried blood on it, which she possibly thought was Rarity's blood. The killer pulled back his knife hand preparing to stab Twilight in the head, but then Twilight's adrenaline kicked in and she kneed him right in the nuts!

He then stumbled back, stunned. Twilight tried to open the door but it was locked. She wouldn't have time to open it since the killer was getting up. The killer tried to lunge at Twilight with the knife in front of him, but she moved out of the way just in time for him to hit the glass doors. She then ran up the stairs with the maniac in high pursuit. Twilight grabbed a potted plant from upstairs and threw it at him which swept the killer off of his feet.

Twilight ran into her room and locked her door putting a chest full of her childhood toys in front of it. The killer easily broke the lock but the chest was too heavy for him to move, he then took his knife and started to swing it around hoping somehow he would hit Twilight.

Twilight ran to the phone and tried to dial 911 but there was no dial tone. Panicking, she ran to her computer and dialed the number and it went through successfully. She typed in her address and told them to come as quickly as they can.

Twilight looked at her doorway again and saw no one was there, Just then Dual Blade started to crawl in the window. "Twilight!, I heard screaming you ok?!"

Twilight was so happy to see Dual Blade that she pulled him into a tight hug and started to cry in his chest which caused him to blush a little. "Blade! Blade! the killer is in the house!, he's was trying to kill me!" screamed Twilight still scared on what just happened.

Dual Blade started to rub her back gently trying to calm her down. "Shh Shh it's ok, whoever was here is gone now don't worry."

Then something fell out of Dual Blade's pocket and it hit Twilight's shoe, she looked down to see what it was and saw it was a cell phone.....and she knew that wasn't his.

Twilight backed up from Dual Blade scared and dumbfounded. "What?" he asked. But the response he got was Twilight running out of her bedroom. Dual Blade didn't understand as he ran after Twilight.

"WAIT TWILIGHT!" He screamed, but she didn't listen.

As she ran to the door and opened it she saw the mask the killer used, and she screamed bloody murder. Her brother Shining Armor screamed back, he was the one holding the mask. "Twily it's me, I found this" he said as he held up the mask.

"C'mon!" he screamed to the other officers behind him, and he along with 4 officers ran inside Twilight house to her room.

When they got there they all saw Dual Blade standing around confused and they all pointed their pistols at him. He then raised his hands in the air, still confused as to what he did. "You're under arrest" said Shining, he then looked at a mare cop. "Take him away"

The cop went behind him and started to cuff him. "You have the right to remain silent, anything you say will be used against you" said the mare.

The cops took Dual Blade outside and put him in a squad car. Dual Blade saw Twilight and tried to talk to her. "Twilight!, I would never do anything to hurt you! Please you gotta believe me!" but all Twilight did was stare at him with tears running down her face, still shocked that her closest friend tried to kill her.

As the car drove away, Rainbow Dash went by her side and pulled her into a side hug. "You ok?" she asked. Twilight couldn't answer right away she was still in shock, just then Shining walked over to the girls.

"Twily.....I'm sorry about all of this.....I know he was very close to you, but we have to drive him to the station, want to stay with me for a while?" he asked. Twilight looked at him and nodded slowly, she figured she'd be safer with her big brother.

"Want me to stay with you too? I mean you need a friend right now" offered Rainbow, Twilight responded by hugging Rainbow tightly.

"I'd love that" said Twilight quietly.

*Edited* I decided to have Big Macintosh being convicted of murdering Twilight Velvet instead of Trixie....It just made more sense to me
