Chapters Strange Visitors From a Darker World
Chapter 1: Stardust (Revised)
(Note: This story has characters from my head world entering Equestria, so a few of my OCs will appear. If you see a way I can make the story better (like if you see a writing error or have a plot suggestion) then feel free to let me know! I am hoping to make this story very enjoyable for all who read it)
The Shattered Multiverse...
Many plane of exist tied together but separated from other realities
It holds many dangers and entities that Equestria should never have to meet
But today the barrier fell, just for a moment
And some of the beings entered into Equestria...
~Canterlot Castle~
A pale white dragon with brown chest plates and horns stepped out of the shimmering rift between worlds. Red runes darted across his body and his eyes scanned the area. He was in a castle… he moved cautiously to avoid being seen by those who might have lived within. He heard talking down the hall and hid himself around the corner. He peaked cautiously out just in time to see two creatures with horns and feathered wings passing by the other corridor, one was white with rainbow colored hair, and the other was a deep blue. The white one had a sun on her flank and the other a moon. He decided that must be what the natives of this world looked like so he altered his form.
The white dragon promptly shifted into the form of an Alicorn… though he did not know what it was. He left his hiding place and proceeded after them, stopping when he came to a highly reflective vase. He looked at it and turned his head curiously over to the side. In the reflection, he noticed his flank was still blank… but these creatures seemed to have makings. He glanced at his wings and shrugged. The blood moon mark was still there, he just commanded it to move to the flank and bam… the mark was not on his flank. The red runes on his body flickered as his power levels began to drop.
The curios dragon… or Alicorn I guess… eventually caught up to the two he had seen. But what would he say to them? He was never any good with words. He always had his friends speak for him as he was always to confused. Well… to late… they noticed him…
Their eyes stared at him in astonishment…. “A… male… alicorn…” they gasp.
He had no clue what they meant and just tilted his head to the side in confusion.
The white one looked over his body carefully, walking around him and observing each detail. He was white but the feathers on his wings were brown and covered in tiny stars. His eyes, mane, and tail were also brown. His cutie mark… was a blood red moon… and his horn seemed jagged but was also brown. “It seems he is…” she gasped.
“who are you?” asked the darker one.
This question he could answer. He knew his project designation, he also knew that no one liked the full name so he would use… his abbreviated name. “I am S-T-A-R-D-U-S-T” he said, his face seemed to smile brightly. Those who knew him only ever saw him confused or happy… as he did not know how to adjust his facial muscles otherwise.
The white one laughed, “No need to spell out your name for us, Stardust, is it? I am Celestia, and this is my sister Luna. Where did you come from?”
He did not understand how whenever he introduced himself they started calling him Stardust… was it something he said? Was it the twinkling stars on his wings? He would probably never know. But that next question… he did not know how to answer. So… as he does when he does not understand… answer at random. “I don’t know a bright light.” This seemed to satisfy them as they heard it as “I don’t know, a bright light.” They assumed he was then somehow born from magical energy.
“Well Stardust, Equestria has never had an alicorn prince before today, feel free to join me in the throne room later. I have to greet the guests to the Gala soon, it would be a good way to introduce you to the citizens here.” Celestia said and she walked off, Luna at her side. She looked back at him over her shoulder. He was… unusual… but cute. She giggled as she saw him poking at a speck of light on the wall that was reflecting off a vase. A little childish it seemed ... she thought to herself.
“ok,” he answered, his attention occupied but he did hear her… though he had no clue what a throne room was…or a gala.
Celestia glanced back at him once more before the turning the corner and saw him waving at her vigorously with a bright smile on his face… she giggled at the sight of his hoof moving so fast.
After the females, had left Stardust felt his power drain further… he winced and leaned against the wall. A white unicorn male came down the hall and almost bumped into him. “Who dares get… in… my… way… a… alicorn?” the male stood dumbstruck.
Stardust stared at him in confusion…
“I am… Prince Blueblood…” the pony said as he regained his composer.
Stardust’s eyes flashed red at the mention of the word… “blood”
~perspective: Flimsy~
Flimsy stayed hidden in every corner he could… he was supposed to be spying on the royal sisters for Queen Chrysalis. But he had run into a creature that he knew was not another changeling but still changed form… maybe it was just a different kind of changeling just from a hive no one knew about? Regardless of that he felt he should keep an eye on it to see what it does.
He took the form of a royal guard and walked into the hall with Stardust and the unicorn… but watched in fear as the creature went back to its dragonic state, snatch up the prince… and drag him off into a closet. The creature left looking like an alicorn again but the prince did not follow. The creature passed right by him on its way out.
The changeling was not sure if it was a good idea… but he figured he had better open the supply closet door. As he did so she shrieked and closed it again… what he saw was a body drained of its fluids and slowly being eaten away by red runes. Soon the evidence of the murder would be gone.
~Perspective: Stardust~
Stardust pranced happily down the hall… it felt good to no longer be hungry… though he could not remember what he ate, was it pie? He never can remember what he eats. He always blanks out when he gets to hungry. Oh well… at least he was fed.
He had finally found the white alicorn again, she was sitting at the top of the steps and shaking the hooves of a bunch of smaller ponies. Stardust sat beside her and smiled.
“Oh! So, you made it!” She said with a smile. “I am glad you could, have you seen Blueblood? He said he would be here.
Stardust looked confused… he thought blood was red… “I don’t think so…”
She just nodded, excepting his answer. “I guess he is late. Now to show you to the people…” She then stood and gestured to him with a wing. “Ponies, I would like to into duce you all to Prince Stardust! He is a visitor from outside of Equestria.” This was more of an assumption, but she never saw him before so he had to be from another land, and alicorns were always royalty right?
The room was filled with cheering… but why? No one ever cheered for Stardust… and what was a prince? He just turned his head sideways in confusion, this made Celestia giggle. He did not know why people always giggles around him… everything is always so confusing.
Strange Visitors From a Darker World
Isaiah appeared in what seemed like some kind of town square. He looked around and grimaced as a crate he gripped for support turned to dust. “I guess that curse is still active… I had hoped it would were off by the time I got here,” the human muttered to himself. His brown eyes scanned the area, he did not see Stardust… well when he does find him he better not touch him until the curse wears off. Poor Isaiah, always the target of cruel prank curses like ‘anything you touch for the next 1-2 hours will vaporize’. He had been inflicted with it just after Stardust wandered into that rift. Isaiah shook his head. Poor guy… they are the same age but the genetically engineered being is as helpless as a child. Isaiah felt like a babysitter half the time, especially when Stardust wandered off like this.
Some one noticed him, “What… are you!” a brightly colored but very tiny horse asked… seeming very freaked out.
“Um… don’t worry about that I won’t be hear long, just stay back and DON’T come near me.”
“Is that a threat?” some other pony asked stepping dangerously close to Isaiah.
“No… I just want you all to stay away from me, I don’t want to have to hurt anyone here. You see I have a cur…” before he could finish explaining the pony tried to buck him… but vanished in a puff of smoke. “Shoot… I am so sorry, sorry, sorry…” he said as he took a step back.
Ponies started screaming and running away from him and a guard charged him, “You! Stay where you are, you are under arrest!”
“Don’t touch me you will…” Isaiah started to shout a warning but the officer already tried to tackle him. Isaiah panicked, said sorry over and over, and ran. His hand brushed the corner of a building and its walls vaporized making it collapse. Isaiah panicked more… still saying sorry, and his auburn hair began getting replaced with two brown dragon horns, red scales covering his body. Large wings that looked like the night sky exploded out of his back and the red dragon took off.
“I have to hide somewhere till the curse wears off… then I can come back and try to pay them back for any damages, and death, I caused.” He muttered to himself. He looked back and saw he was being followed by a bunch of pegasi. He rolled his eyes and a golden ring appeared in front of him. He flew through it, it vanished, and he shot ahead faster than the eye could see.
~Perspective: Flimsy~
The changeling had taken the form of a guard who patrolled the streets of Canterlot. Sure, Chrysalis wanted him keeping an eye on the princesses but he would rather not be near that white creature until he knew who’s side it was on.
He heard screams and ran to see the commotion… his jaw dropped. An odd two-legged creature was saying sorry over and over after turning a guard to dust, he then destroyed a building, turned into a dragon, and flew off…
“Don’t tell me it is another one of those…” Flimsy groaned… it seemed no matter where he went today he encountered one it seemed. Maybe he should ask Chrysalis if she knew about them? The again the queen said not to come back without the information she needed. So… he will wait. Hopefully he does not die.
~Perspective: Isaiah 2 hours later~
The human sighed with relief when he grabbed a rock and it did not crumble… the curse was gone. “Well, I should probably go back, hopefully I don’t have to use my dragon form again… or a warp ring… transforming and moving that fast hurts!” he groaned to himself.
Isaiah had gained his dragon form a few years ago, in an accident, but he preferred to stay human. He was nothing like Stardust who was created to be any creature he wished to be. Isaiah was not jealous of this, sure at first it seemed cool but life is confusing enough without having your mind warped over a dozen times when your brain changes to that of different creature each day.
He flexed his right hand and a glowing silver sword appeared, its hilt was shaped like a dragon and its grip and a blue gem in it. A voice radiated from the blade, “So… you have been in the new world for less than three hours and you are already a felon, congratulations.”
Isaiah frowned, “Shut up Eternal, I don’t need to hear your taunting voice right now…”
“Then why did you summon me?” she asked.
Isaiah glanced down at the blade. “I need you to boost my speed… I should get back to that city. Stardust is there and we need to bring him back.”
He heard a sigh from the blade and he felt his motions speed up. He was glad that the spirit in the blade co-operated… this time.
~Perspective: Celestia~
Celestia shook her head… 2 dead in Canterlot, and a building collapsed injuring a dozen more. What was that creature that caused this? She looked over to Twilight and her friends. Celestia called them hear hoping they could help with this… thing…
“It seems we have a new enemy…” she began.
“I heard, a two-legged creature that vaporizes ponies and destroys buildings, we passed by the wreckage on the way over hear.” The purple alicorn stated.
“I see… well I want you to figure out what it is, why it is hear and how to stop it…” Celestia said with a grave look on her face. “But be careful not to touch it.”
Twilight nodded and looked at her friends, they nodded as well. The 6 ponies ran out of the castle and prepared to face whatever lied ahead. Just before they could leave Canterlot they saw a streak of light heading toward them, the light suddenly faded and the creature flew out at them and collided with Twilight…
~Perspective: Isaiah and the main 6~
“Ouch… Eternal… why did you turn it off then!” the human shouted, the blade did not reply but faded from reality, turning into a sword shaped mark on her wielders right arm. She would likely not help him out again for a LONG time… knowing her. Isaiah then noticed he was laying on one of the ponies and jumped up, “Oops… sorry… did not meant to…” before he could finish he was tackled to the ground by a blue pegasus with rainbowy hair. “oof…”
“What’s the deal with tackling the princess? Are you the one who hurt all those ponies?” she asked.
Isaiah opened his mouth to respond but she pressed her hooves into his chest. “Answer me!” she yelled.
“I… trying… can’t… breath…” he replied faintly.
“Rainbow dash get off him, he might vaporize you!” an orange one shouted. Rainbow’s eyes went wide and she jumped off, still holding an aggressive stance.
Isaiah coughed and stood up, looking over them in confusion. Then it hit him… “Oh... that… I am very sorry… you see there was a c…”
A pink pony interrupted, “You had a curse that destroyed anything you touched and then you felt really bad after you turned the first pony to dust so you tried to run but then a guard touched you then a building collapsed you flew away after turning into a dragon and waited for it to were off then you came back here hoping there was a way you could help fix the damage and make amends and you also need to find your friend who came with you from another world?” she asked all in one breath which… freaked Isaiah out a little bit.
“Sounds like my entire day… all in one sentence…” he answered, the orange one looked him over.
“So, do you swear that what pinky said is the truth?” she asked, her voice sounded like a country girl.
Isaiah nodded, “I swear mam, on my life and soul and position of the Lightseeker, I do swear that is the truth.”
She seemed to accept this, “I think he is telling the truth.”
“Can we be sure, darling?” a white unicorn spoke up.
“As sure as I am an apple, his eyes are honest,” the orange one said.
This seemed good enough for them all…
“So… how can I help fix what happened?” Isaiah asked.
“Well we can start by finding the one who cursed you and getting JUSTICE!” the blue one shouted, flying in the air and doing a loop.
“I left them in another world, so unless you can open portals that is not happening…” the human stated.
“Well… I am sure they would appreciate you helping to rebuild the store you destroyed. Though we must explain that the lives were lost due to a curse and you had no control over it and feel bad,” Twilight said, she seemed to be thinking. “I guess in the end it is Celestia who decides what happens to you.”
“I accept whatever fate I deserve…” the man said, his eyes solemn.
The ponies just nodded. Twilight walked over to him. “I am Twilight Sparkle.”
“Rainbow dash!” said the blue.
“Apple Jack,” the orange one stated.
“Rarity,” the white one said with a toss of her amazing hair.
“Pinkie Pie!” the pink one bounced and shouted.
Everyone looked towards a yellow pony with pink hair… who had not spoken the entire time. Her head dipped shyly.
“And that is Fluttershy…” Twilight added. “And you are?”
Isaiah smiled at them, “I am Isaiah Lightseeker. If I can help pay for my crimes, no matter how accidental, I will do it. I truly am sorry at the loss of life as I can’t bring them back. But if any were injured in the building I can use my spirit weaving to help their recover be swift.”
~Back at the Castle~
Celestia jumped in surprise as Twilight returned bringing the strange creature with her. “What is the meaning of this?”
Twilight explained the situation and Celestia nodded in understanding. She was about to speak but the human sank to his knees in front of her and bowed down. “I am willing to accept any punishment you wish to carry out…” he said.
The princess smiled, “I am glad you returned and offered to help. Twilight will explain what happened to those effected and I will have you help repair the damage and heal the wounded. I am willing to give you another chance. Just know that if you hurt a pony again, I will not be so forgiving.”
The man smiled and nodded, “Don’t worry, I don’t like hurting anyone… he then looked up and saw a second white alicorn. “STARDUST?!”
The white being turned his head to the side then smiled. “Isaiah!” Next think the human knew he was pinned to the ground with a hug.
Strange Visitors From a Darker World
Chapter 4: What do You See?
Isaiah helped finish all the repairs for the damage he caused and looked at the position of the sun... almost sunset. He grinned, finally something he would enjoy! The young man ran over to the far side of Canterlot with unreal speed, his altered genetic structure helped him retain the freakishly high speed, no were near as fast as when Eternal helps but it works.
He made it to the place he was supposed to meet Spearmint... his heart pounded and his breathing came labored. Sweat formed at his brow. I have never been on a date... what if I do horribly? What if she decides she hates me.
The voice of his spirit blade piped up, "I find this suspicious! You came here, vaporized ponies, then one asked you out after knowing you for less then 5 minutes? Wow... you are an idiot if you don't think this is odd. I don't trust her, mainly because no female should be stupid enough to go out with you!"
"Wow... thanks for the encouragement Eternal..." Isaiah muttered sarcastically.
After a few minutes the green pegasus came. "Oh good! You came!" she chimed.
Isaiah smiled, "Of course I did, why would I not? I did agree to this and I would like to see where we take this..."
She nuzzled his side as they entered and Isaiah found himself gently stroking her cheek. The female grinned as she already was beginning to feed off of him. All according to plan... Chrysalis thought as the two entered the building.
The restaurant was small but cozy, it was dimly lit and had only a few tables. The wood was painted red, the walls were orange, and white candles here in the center of each table. The floors were made from a dark wood, polished to perfection. Isaiah pulled out a stool for his date then sat at the other side of the table.
"Welcome to the Warm Hearth! What can I do for... you... wh..." the waiter pony was about to freak out at the sight of the human with reptilian eyes... but he was cut off before he could say anything.
Isaiah held up the menu, "This seems good, can we get some of these fried vegie tacos?" he preferred meat but he could tell no pony ate meat so this would have to do...
"Same," Spearmint (Chrysalis) said, though she knew she would HATE the taste, she would just eat to keep her cover and feed more on the WAY to easy to feed off of male.
The waiter stuttered for a bit before regaining his composer and going off to tell the cook their order... though he still had no clue WHAT ISAIAH even was... "Master Chef... we have some... unusual customers... I don't know what the stallion even is, or if I can call him a stallion, but him and his mare need two orders of fried vegie taco."
"Meh! Paying customers are all the same! I would not care if he were a dragon or a minotaur, I would serve him!" the grumpy sounding chef said as he began to make their food.
~Back at the Castle of Friendship~
"Ok every pony! How did we do?" a cheerful Twilight asked as she entered the room her research project... er... human friend... would be staying in. Her jaw dropped...
The curtain was nice, and it matched the sheets. The cloth had gemstones sewn into it. Obviously Rarities doing... but the walls were COVERED in Daring-Do and Wonderbolt posters... Rainbow-Dash. The carpet was rustic and vintage but smelt very... would old be the best word? Hay was all over the ground, Applejack must have done that. Pink streamers and confetti were all over the place as a confetti canon fired when she passed it, Pinkie Pie may have had to much fun. Birds flew wildly all over the room with Fluttershy chasing after them, and Starlight Glimmer was tied up like a mummy in ribbon and hanging up-side-down from the ceiling. Spike was reading a comic and ignoring the chaos.
Twilight stared in confusion, "Well... this is a mess. I hope we can fix this before he arrives."
~Meanwhile back in Canterlot~
It was a few hours after the dinner and Isaiah was at the castle in Canterlot, apparently the room for him in Ponyville was not ready? Well, him not going all that way tonight way be for the best. He felt like all his energy was leached right out of him during the date. Well at least she was nice... he said thinking back to the date.
"My faithful student Twilight... said you room is taking a little longer then they thought to set up..." Celestia explained, doing her best not to giggle at what the younger princess described in her letter.
"You will just have to stay here... for the night..." Luna said, also repressing a giggle.
Isaiah nodded sleepily and went off to a guest room. The room had purple carpet, blue walls, and a fairly large bed. If Isaiah wanted to he could even sleep as a dragon, but why would he do that? He lay down and entered a tormented sleep. Two guards were stationed outside of his room.
This was PERFECT for Luna, she did not trust Isaiah or Stardust. And when they sleep, she can enter their dreams to see if they should be dealt with, or if they can be allies.
~Isaiah's Dream~
Isaiah was walking across a blackened landscape. A wing like that on a playset creaked and squeaked in the wind, its ominous sound making the boy uncomfortable. A ruined two-story house lay before him... his house. Memories of his family being taken away from him by figures in black cloaks just three years ago filled him mind. "I... could not save them," a single tear went down his cheek. Suddenly he heard screaming from the house. Its them, I know it is them! I have to save them this time!
He ran but everything got father away, soon he was forced into a crawl as his body changed into that of the red dragon. He made it to the porch, the door creaked and it moved in despite the wind being gone now. Isaiah used his claws to open it and the rotten wood fell apart in his hand. He looked around and heard a blood curdling scream. He turned and saw horror in his families face, they looked at him and only saw the dragon. Then they vanished, Isaiah was now in Canterlot. Ponies running from him, he tried to see what was going on and grabbed one to ask a question but its flesh burnt off its body with his touch. He stared in horror as it slowly turned to dust. This time Isaiah screamed. Then he was in a dark cave... one he had been in many times before. He heard a disembodied howl, a screech, right behind him.
He turned around, once again in his human body, and saw a wraith. It's face was hidden in it's dark hood and its claws were stained with blood. A shadowy aura hovered around it and it spoke with a voice from your worst nightmares. "You cant save anyone Lightseeker... you failed your family, you failed those ponies, you failed everyone else!"
Visions of past failures clouded his vision. Planets getting destroyed, armies trying to protect their homes getting ripped apart, villages getting consumed with a dark mist sucking the life from everyone within. And then, Isaiah with eyes glowing red standing over the bodies of hundreds...
"I... I just wanted to save people..." he cried, tears poring.
"But you failed, so you accepted a dark power hoping you could use it to save them... but you only killed those you meant to protect..." Their was another flash, his deep red eyes cold and merciless as he chased families from their homes. "You are the same as the evil you chose to fight!" the wraith taunted.
"No... I got rid of my darkness... I am a light... I... fight... evil... I..."
"Don't FOOL yourself!" the wraith snapped, it's skeletal hand grabbed Isaiah by the thought and lifted him up. "I know you can never forgive yourself for what happened, that is why you even hold this 'Hero' act... you think if you save families it will make up for your past failures and what you did when controlled by the Necrosign. I assure you... their IS no redemption!"
They were now in the open and a burst of light flew from the moon. The wraith faded and Isaiah lay down on the ground and wept. Luna now stood over him, she had entered his dream as she had seen enough. "We are more alike then I wish to admit," she spoke gently. Isaiah kept crying... "We both did things we regretted while influenced by Darkness."
He still cried...
"But the voice in your head is wrong! Let me show you that you have been redeemed." The princess changed the dream to go through Isaiah's memories. They saw him pulling children out of a burning building, fending off strange creatures attacking a family in their own home, going head to head against someone who wished to destroy an entire kingdom, comforting an orphaned griffin, encouraging a young dragon, and doing his best to make things up to the ponies in Canterlot. Isaiah sat up and Luna pulled him into a hug. "You and I are alike, whenever your dreams go dark call out to me and I will come to you."

Chapter 3: What Happens on Break
~Changeling Hive~
Chrysalis was enraged at Flimsy’s return without any additional information on Celestia and Luna. “What is WRONG with you? I told you to gather information on Celestia and Luna… and now you are here?”
“I’m… I’m sorry. But I found something else…” he said, his head held low.
“And what else could you have found… that I would be interested in?” she questioned.
“Strange creatures… like dragons… but they can change like us…. I think...” he said timidly.
“YOU THINK!” the queen shouted… she wanted solid information on her enemies, assumptions WOULD NOT do.
“I don’t know what they actually are… but I never say them turn into any pony else, they were always themselves but a different species,” the small changeling stepped back, he did not like when his queen was angry. “I am not sure who’s side they are on, we might be able to convince them to… help us?”
Chrysalis laid down and pondered this, she hated to admit it but some allies could be just what she needed. “Very well, lead me to one of them.”
Flimsy went pail… lead her? To… one of those things? “My… my queen… would that be wise?”
She glared at him, if looks could kill he would have died were he stood. “Just do it…”
~Canterlot~
Isaiah was pleased that Twilight offered him a place with her, but he could not leave yet. The young man was doing his best to help rebuild the damage he caused when he arrived. His expression seemed to be filled with regret, every pony knew he was sorry. The princesses noticed that in his saddened state light literally dimmed around him giving the human a dark aura-like appearance. “Ya might want ta take a break, you are workin’ youself raw. Go on, get, come back in a few hours… or better yet tomorrow morning.” a pony offered. Isaiah just nodded and wandered off.
He walked along the outskirts of the town hoping that his regret would fade, but it never did. It did not help that his nature was to feel the regret of all those before him to wield the sword he used. That curse was worse than becoming a dragon when angry or scared. He wiped sweat from his brow and sat down. He did not understand… his life was a mess… always has been and always will be it seemed.
He remembered how he lost his family when his home town was destroyed back on his world. He remembered when he was first cursed with the dragon form. The young man even remembered when his sword was bound to his soul… sealing away vast amounts of regret from its previous thousand or so wielders within his heart. He could not take it! He felt their pain, their sorrow… he wanted it to stop. But Isaiah knew it would never go away. He would not even think about finding love… he would not age and she would grow old and die. Stardust was probably his only friend that he would not outlive.
“Speaking of Stardust… should I mention he is not really an ali-watzit?” Isaiah muttered to himself. He shook his head, they did not need to know what the creature was. If anyone knew they would likely try to kill the both of them. And the last thing Isaiah wanted was to be their enemy. He liked them; Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinky Pie, Apple Jack, Rarity… they seemed nice. As soon as he finished helping fix the damaged he caused they were even going to let him stay in a place called the ‘Castle of Friendship’. Weird name for Twilight’s home, but at least she was nice enough to offer. The Lightseeker had never been shown kindness before, it was not something he was used to in his world. But here he was… in a world full of 4-legged ponies that all stood just barely above his waste, and suddenly he was shown kindness.
“Excuse me?” a green pegasus mare with blue hair approached him. She was followed by a jet black pegasus that looked like a guard.
“uh… ya? What’s up?” he asked as he stared at the ponies.
The green mare stared at him, “Were you the one who turned into a dragon?” she asked.
Isaiah frowned, “Yes… why?”
“Show me…” she said, with an almost snakelike hiss.
Isaiah raised an eyebrow and shifted into his dragon form. The large red dragon with its star-covered wings towered over the pony. Oddly she showed no fear, only fascination. Isaiah grinned, his razor-sharp teeth showing through his lips. A brown diamond sparkled on his forehead. “Satisfied?” he asked playfully, turning around and bringing his blue tail-spike inches from her face. There was a snapping sound and the tail-blade snapped open into a fully functional claw, making the pegasus flinch. He lowered the claw to the ground and picked up a rock, tossing it in the air and catching it again with the tail-claw. The 4 blades that made up its fingers were attacked to a round socket that could rotate continuously. The dragon gave it a little spin, it sparked, and the rock crumbled in a flash of light. The rotation stopped, the claw turned back into a spike, and seemed firm again… as if the change never happened.
The green pegasus smiled wickedly, “Would you like to go out with me tonight? For dinner?” she turned to the side with a slightly seductive movement.
Isaiah’s eyes went wide… was he just asked out? Forget the no love thing he mentioned earlier… he might as well try a date! “S… Sh… sure!”
“Perfect… sunset… meet me at the restaurant over there!” she said pointing to one with her wings. Isaiah, who was now in his human form again… somehow still clothed, just nodded. “See you later!” the girl pony winked as she got ready to fly off, “oh ya, call me Spearmint.”
Spearmint landed on a hill far from Canterlot and laughed, green flames exploded around her and she transformed into Chrysalis. “Perfect! Not only can I seduce him to my side… I can also get a good meal of love while I am at it!”
The black pegasus reverted to Flimsy, “Y… yes… you can your highness.”
~Canterlot Castle~
“But Celestia, are you sure we can trust them?” Luna pleaded.
Her sister nodded, “I know I can trust Stardust, but Isaiah… I will have to see. I asked Stardust about him and he said that the human has reckless tendencies. I am willing to let him stay free if no pony gets hurt.”
“But why do you even trust that alicorn stallion?” Luna questioned, “He showed up only a few hours ago! Do you like him Tia? Is that why you don’t question what his purpose is? What his motives are?”
Celestia sighed and looked out over Canterlot from her balcony, “Its… its not like that…”
“Then why don’t you even question him? Why do you always smile and giggle just because he is around?”
The white alicorn did not answer.
~Ponyville~
“Alright every pony!” Twilight began. “Our guest will arrive in my castle in a day or two and I want to be sure his room is ready in such a way he can feel welcome! And what better way for his new friends to each leave something a little bit of their touch on his new bed room?”
Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Rarity nodded… Pinkie Pie bounced with hyper-active energy.
“One question…” asked Starlight Glimmer, “Who is this pony again? You know… that will be staying in the castle with you, me, and spike?”
“Ya… I was wondering the same thing,” a little purple dragon commented.
“Oh, not a pony at all, he is a human.”
Spikes jaw dropped… "h... human... here?"
“What is that?” asked Starlight… confusion covering her face.
