As Twilight and her friends walk into Canterlot castle she was talking to Discord about the stone

"Are you sure Celestia knows more about the stone than you do." she asked

"Yes I'm sure." Discord says

As she was talking to discord she accidentally bumped into somepony and knocks them down

"Oh I'm so sorry." Twilight tries to apologize, but freezes when she realizing that the pony she bumped into was Flash Sentry

"Oh hello Princess Twilight, there no reason to apologize it was my fault I wasn't looking where I was going." Flash said

"No, it was my fault I should've been paying attention where I was going." she said

"Well okay I accept your apology." he said

"Let me make it up to you let me take you out to dinner, my treat." she offers

"Oh no Princess I couldn't." he was stopped as a hoof was pressed up against his lips

"Please, I insist." Twilight said smiling

"Okay then I accept your offer." he said

"Okay then I'll bring you after my meeting with Princess Celestia is over." she said to him

"That sounds like a plan." he says as he walks away from her but he turns to her one more time smiling at her as he left

As she turns to her friends they all had smiles on their faces and asked

"What?"

"Did you just ask your crush out on a date." Starlight said trying not to giggle

"What, no." Twilight said blushing

"Oh darling you did this is so exciting." Rarity said

"I just offer him lunch it's not like it's a date or anything." Twilight said blushing like crazy

"Sure Twi whatever you say." Applejack said smiling at her friend

As her friends continued to talk about her "date" with Flash they entered the throne room and saw Princess Celestia and Luna talking to each other before they notice them and smiled at them

"Hello Twilight what are you and your friends doing here?" Celestia asked

"I'm here because we found something that maybe you will know what it is." Twilight said

"What?" Celestia asked

"This." Twilight said as she pulls out the orb and opens it revealing the stone

Celestia and Luna looks at the stone in shock

"Where did you fine this." Luna asked

"In the Everfree forest, why." said Trixie

Celestia and Luna looked at each other and nodded to one another

"I think it's time you all know the truth." Celestia said

"The truth of what?" asked Fluttershy

"From this point on I will only say this once, forget everything that you think you know." Luna said

"Why." they all asked at once

"Because what we are about to tell you is something that should never be known by anypony else, what I am saying is that whatever we tell you must remain a secret do you understand." she said

"We understand." they all said at once

Luna eyed Discord and he notice this and sighs and saids

"I understand."

"OK, sister you may begin." Luna said

"Long ago in ancient times, ponies believed the heavens were filled with gods and monsters and magical worlds. Then, as time passed, those beliefs faded into myth and folklore." said Celestia said

"Some of those ponies believed that before creation itself, there were six singularities." Luna said

"They believed that the universe exploded into existence, and the remnants of these systems were forged into concentrated ingots." Celestia said

"Appropriately named the Infinity Stones." Luna stated

"While us alicorns are powerful beings, these stones are on an entirely different level." Celestia said

"These stones, it seems, can only be brandished by beings of extraordinary strength. Observe." Luna said

She uses her magic to conquer up a image and shows them a giant beings that use the Infinity Stones as weapons. During which made them all trembling in fear.

"These carriers can use the stone to mow down entire civilizations like wheat in a field." she continued

"Oh, dear." Rarity said trying not to run away in fear

"Once, for a moment, a group was able to share the energy among themselves" Celestia said as she shows them an image of four hood ponies touching the stone at the same time, it look like that they were able to hold the power, until she added

"But even they were quickly destroyed by it." and shows the four ponies getting evaporated by the power of the stone

"This doesn't make any sense." Twilight said

"Not everything does. Not everything has to." Celestia told her former student

"How do you both know so much about this?" Rainbow asked

"Starswirl told us before his death." Luna said

"What happened to them." asked Fluttershy

"The were deemed to dangerous and powerful to let loose freely among us so our parents separated them hiding them in different parts of Equestria, with each of them having a protector to guard them to stop anypony from taking them." Celestia said

"So nopony wanted the power of the stones?" asked Starlight

Celestia looked to Luna unsure of what to say next all Luna did was nodded

"There was one being who wanted the power of the stones for himself." Luna said

"His name was Erebus an extremely powerful and deadly centaur whose powers were greater of that of Tirek." Celestia added

Upon hearing that Twilight thought of her battle with the red centaur, which ended in a draw, thinking that this one was more powerful then him struck fear in Twilight mind

"What happened to him?" asked Twilight

"He was sealed away in a place called the Dark Dimension where he is currently imprisoned."

Twilight let out a sigh of relief

"If used correctly what can these stones do?" asked Applejack

"Each stone is different in their own ways." Luna said

"How different?" asked Spike

"Each stone can control one type of thing that makes up the very fabric of the universe." Celestia said

"The different stones are, Space, Reality, Mind, Time, Soul, and Power." Luna said

"Each stone by themselves are dangerous enough, but if you are able to use all six stones at once then you could do anything you can possible imagine." Celestia said

"That is what Erebus plan was to control all six stones at once, so he could remake this world in his own image." Luna stated

"How could he possible accomplish that without getting destroyed by the stones?" asked Discord

"He was able to constructed a gauntlet out of an decent amount of Unobtainium, a strong and indestructible rare mineral that no longer exist, which he appropriately named it the Infinity Gauntlet."

"If our parents along with Starswirl the Bearded weren't able to stop him in time we would be living in a very different world right now." Luna said

"But we are thankful that they were able to stop him so we don't have anything to worry about." Celestia said smiling

Meanwhile:

Outside of Equestria and deep in the Badlands a portal appears and a figure steps out of it. The figure is revealed to be Erebus. He smiles as he brings his lefts claw, which is still inside the Infinity Gauntlet, up to his face and makes a fist, he says

"Equestria, I have return."

Author's Note

While it may not seems like it but Twilight and Flash eventual relationship will be a key part in this story and the next one as well.

Don't expect a new chapter til Saturday or Sunday at the lastest
