***Dreamscape***

A sixteen year old Leo was standing in the middle of a forest clearing. His eyes were closed and he was waiting for something after that he heard a voice say. "Okay then dragon boy lets begin this session." After that a yellow triangle wearing a top hat and bow tie appeared. Leo then opened his eyes and waved to him. "Lets start with what we have learned yesterday." After that he snapped his fingers and after that a ten meter boulder appeared. "Levitate it." After that Leo stepped up to the boulder and extended his right arm.

"Okay, lets see if I can do this any better now." He said. After that, he concentrated and then a red aura appeared around his hand and the boulder. After that, he snapped his fingers and the boulder flew off of the ground.

"Good job dragon boy. You're definitely getting faster at this. Now throw it away and let's continue with your fire spells." Leo did as he was asked and launched the boulder away. It flew and flew and after around ten seconds they heard a crash.

"Okay, Bill so what are we going to try today." Asked Leo.

"Today we are going to work on your fire breath." Then he snapped his fingers and then six target appeared around the clearing."Now get into position and strike each of the targets without missing a single one. For every target that you miss they are going to transform into a monster and then you are going to have to fight them. Aaand begin." After that he concentrated his magic on his lungs making a warm feeling appear in his lungs. After that was complete he drew the flame up to his mouth filled it up and shot a fire ball at the first target after that he turned around and shot another five fireballs at the last targets. Sadly he missed two of them and they transformed into timberwolves. That enraged him so much that he breathed fire out creating dragon claws on his arms. After that he launched himself at the two wolves tearing them to shreds. Bill was surprised. "Okay Leo calm down. How about we continue on some of the less flashy powers that you have?" After Leo calmed down, he dispelled his fire claws and after that he said.

"Yeah, I would love to do that. How about we start with clairsentience." Then Bill snapped his fingers and then a table and chair appeared.

"Why don't we work on two at the same time. Lets work on clairsentience and automatic writing at the same time. You sit down an I'm going to teleport around then will see what answers you felt when we check the paper." After that Leo sat down. Then he was blindfolded and then the exercise began. After about ten minutes of Bill teleporting around and Leo writing down answers, they stopped and checked his answers. "Well besides a couple mistakes you actually did quite good." After that the dreamscape started to crack. "Well it looks like our time here has come to an end see you in the real world."

"Sure see you on the other side." After he said that the dreamscape shattered and he started to wake up.

***Real world***

When he came to he started to feel someone poking his stomach. After that, someone started to tickle him and when that sensation registered in his brain he started to laugh and convulse. "Midnight stop it, stop it. I'm up, I'm up." After that, the tickle attack stopped and he heard her say.

"Good morning sleepyhead it's time to get up and go to school, or would you rather be late and make a bad first impression." After that, she got away from me so that I could get up.

"Yeah, I guess your right. Well then let me get dressed and I'll come to breakfast."

"Okay, then breakfast is waiting for you on the table. Hurry up or else your father's going to eat it." With that said she left his room and went outside. Yeah, Leo's got his own room now. Well, you couldn't quite call it a room, because it was basically a small side tunnel which was reserved for him.

"Well then dragon boy what's on the agenda for today?"

"Well, first we are going to get dressed and then we are going to go to school and try to make some friends. Maybe even pull a prank on the entire school. I'm not too sure about that. Hey, could you think of something that we could do to prank the school?" Leo asked while putting on his jeans.

"I probably can... Give me about half an hour and I'll have something planed. See you then." With that Bills presence left his conscious mind. After that Leo finished dressing himself up. He put on a plain red T-shirt and after that he put on his black leather jacket and after that he put on his black shoes and backpack and after that he went towards the kitchen area of the cave. Where he saw his father was about to eat his breakfast.

"Dad don't you do it, or we are going to have a repeat of last week." Then Zyon stopped himself and said.

"Last time you just got lucky, this time I'm going to win." After that he picked up the steak and tried to bite into it, but he only bit into nothing. After that he looked around and found Leo holding the steak and eating it at the entrance to the cave. "Oh it's on." And after that he started to chase after Leo. Leo quickly booked it and started to run a t full speed towards the forest on the way he ran by Midnight so he quickly said.

"Midnight I need help dad is chasing me again meet me at the cliff bye." After that, he ran into the forest Zyon following close behind. Midnight just sighed and quickly took to the air and flew towards the cliff and while she was flying Leo weaved his way through the forest trying to lose Zyon in the thick forest.

"You're not getting away from me that easily Leo. Now give me that steak."

"You can get it from me when you rip it away from my cold dead hands." Said Leo while running by his neighbours Axel and Amelia.

"Here we go again... Who do you think is going to win this time?" Asked Axel.

"My gems are on Leo." Said Amelia, while placing a sapphire in front of herself.

"Mine are on Zyon. Let's see who wins." Said Axel, while placing a ruby in front of himself. After that, they both flew up into the air to get a better vantage point. Now, let's go back to the chase.

"Leo if you don't give me that steak you are going to be grounded."

"Dad we both know that you are not able to do that." After that, the trees parted to reveal a giant cliff. Leo stopped and then he turned around to reveal Zyon waiting there.

"Now I've got you exactly where I want you. Now hand me that steak." After that, he slowly advanced at Leo. Leo at first looked scared, but then he felt his mother annoyance behind him by using empathy. After that, he smirked.

"Well, dad it looks like I have won. It was a good chase though." After that, he turned around and jumped off the cliff.

"Leo no!" Screamed Zyon while trying to catch him. After that, he saw him flying on Midnights back flying towards the city. "That sneaky rat." After that, the two night furies went back down to the ground.

"Well, Axel pay up." Said Amelia, while extending her right claw. Axel placed his ruby into her claw while also grumbling under his breath. After that, they both went back inside.

***

After about ten minutes of flying Midnight and Leo finally got to the city of Canterlot. "So Leo did you enjoy your little morning run?"

"You know I did, but I really need to let him win one of these days... Nah he's just going to have to outsmart me. So where are we going to land?"

"Well I scouted out the area last night and I found a nice landing spot behind your school. That is where Axel is going to pick you up when you finish school. Now hold on tight because we are going to have to go super fast to not be seen by the other humans." After he grabbed on tight like his life dependent on this and then she sped up to super sonic speeds. When we finally stopped we were already standing behind the school. "Now you be safe and make some friends. Oh yeah and don't forget to go to the principle to get all of the paperwork. Goodbye Leo." While she was talking Leo climbed down from her and after he got down she quickly flew away.

"Well let's get this show on the road." And with that said he started walking to the front of the school. Once he got there he took a quick look around.

"This is going to be fun."

"What's going to be fun?" Asked Bill. Leo jumped a little, but then he calmed down and said.

"First don't scare me like that and second going to this school is going to be fun. Now if you excuse me I'm going to the principle to get myself properly situated." With that said he walked straight into the school. After about five minutes of searching he finally found the principals office and right before Leo would knock on the door Bill spoke up.

"Wait before you go in I have a question. How did you even get enrolled in this school?"

"That's easy I wrote a letter and I sent it to this school in that letter I also added my school report from elementary school. Now please be quiet before you get me in trouble." With that said he knocked on the door. After a couple of seconds, he heard a reply.

"Come in." Said a slightly bored female voice. With that prompt, he opened the door and stepped inside.

"Good morning I'm here to get my paperwork to enrol myself into this school." Then she smiled and said.

"Ah you must be Leo Yo Uni it's nice to meet you. My name is principal Celestia." Then she gave him her hand for a handshake, he of course shook it and then she said. "Please take a seat I have a couple of questions that you need to answer before you can be enrolled in this school." After that she opened a file cabinet and pulled out a file that was labeled Leo Yo Uni. She placed it on the table opened it. After that she started to ask her questions. "First lets start wit the simple ones. Do you have any allergies?"

"No, I don't have any." She wrote that down and then she continued.

"Do you have any hobbies that you like to do?"

"Yes, I actually do. I like to play sports especially football and I also like to go camping or just nature in it self." She also wrote that down.

"Okay, then Leo this is the final question. How do you like this school thus far?"

"The school looks to be very nice, with very nice and helpful class mates. So yeah the school is very nice and friendly." After that she closed the folder and put it back into the file cabinet then she opened a drawer under her desk and pulled out another file and a key. She placed them on the table and passed them over to Leo.

"Well, then Leo I'm proud to say that you are now a student attending Canterlot high. Congratulations." Then she gave him his hand for another shake.

"Thank you principle Celestia. I'll make sure to be the best student that I can be." Then he gave her his hand and they shook.

"I hope for the same thing. Now make sure that you bring me this file with all the paperwork inside finished tomorrow because the friendship games are approaching, so I want to see them done yesterday." With that said the bell started to ring. "Now go to the cafeteria and get yourself something to eat." He nodded and picked up the folder and made his way out of the office.

"Well that was easy. Now what?"

"Now my friend we go to the cafeteria and get myself something to eat." With that said he put the file into his backpack, he put the key into his pocket and then they made their way towards the cafeteria. Once Leo got to the cafeteria he was impressed to see that it actually looked quite nice.

After he finished his observation he stepped into the line and went forth to pick his food."So what do we do now dragon boy?"

"You know I newer got why you always call me dragon boy? Wait no let me rephrase that. I know why you call me dragon boy, I want to know why you are not calling me by my name."

"Because I know that it annoys you. So what are we doing?" While he was asking this Leo was picking out my food and placing it on his tray.

"Well we are going to eat now and after that, we are going to explore the rest of the school. After we finish that we are going to be wasting some time until Axel picks us up."

"Well you certainly have things planned out. I'll leave you to it I'm going to take a nap. Ta ta~. With that Bill disappeared and Leo was left alone once again. After that little conversation, he left the line and went to an empty table and started to eat. After around five minutes of him enjoying his meal, he heard a very familiar voice.

"Leo. Is that you?" Then he turned around and sure enough there was a yellow-skinned girl with red and yellow hair standing right in front of him.

"Sunset. Man, you've certainly grown taller, but you still use ketchup and mustard to die your hair. How's it going?" She punched him on the shoulder and then she sat down across from hair.

"Ha ha haven't heard that one before." She said in a sarcastic tone. "But in all seriousness what are you doing here?"

"Well, Sunset you're going to be interested to find out that I am now a student attending this school." That surprised her while he just took another bite from his salad.

"No way your joking, please tell me your joking."

"No, I'm attending tomorrow's my first day. So what did you do in these past couple of years?" After that, she seemed to get nervous, but she quickly calmed down.

"Oh, nothing much the most recent event that happened here was a little talent show. It's basically a large competition in which the entire school tries to show off their talents. It kinda ended in disaster and that is all that I'm telling you... And you what did you do in this time?" She asked after that she took a bite out of her meal.

"Nothing much. I and my family travelled allot and I saw allot of new places. The only thing that is worth mentioning is that my aunt Amelia is having twins and she is going to let me name them I can't wait for that. Other then that nothing interesting happened." I answered. After a minute of silence, he asked. "So Sunset have you met any new people?" At that, she smiled.

"Oh yeah, I can't wait for you to meet them if my watch is correct they should be coming here right about now." After that nothing happened. "I said right about now." She said a little louder." After that a pink skinned girl with a slightly darker pink hair which was completely puffy hair stile. Like it was literally filled with air and to make it even worse she scared Leo so much that he flew of off his chair.

"Ouch. Is this one of your friends Sunset." Said Leo, while he picked himself up. Then the pink monstrosity started to talk.

"Hi my name is Pinkie Pie, but you can call me Pinkie. Are you new here? You must be new hair because I know everyone here. Do you like parties? I specialise in parties..." After that, she started to speak so fast that it was basically just her babbling on. After a minute of her "talking", Leo put his hand on her mouth and said.

"It's nice to meet you now can you please tone it down just a tiny little way, because I'm this close before I fly off the handle." He punctuated that point by putting his fingers together. After that he removed his hand and then she said.

"Why would you fly off the handle if you're not even hanging on one?" After that, he simply turned to Sunset with a dumbfounded face. Sunset just shrugged and said.

"That's Pinkie for you. Just don't question her and your sanity will stay intact."

"Okay then. Any other friends that I should know about?" After that Pinkie spoke up.

"Yeah, there are Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Rarity." Then Sunset said.

"Speaking of friends, here they come." After that Leo turner around and sure enough there they were. The first one to speak up was a chalk white-skinned girl with an amazingly stilled purple hair.

"Hello, Sunset, Pinkie and... I'm sorry you must be new here my name is Rarity. May I ask who are you?" Leo then got up and gave her his hand then and then he said.

"My name is Leo Yo Uni, but you can call me Leo. It's nice to meet you. Now may I ask who the rest of you are?" After he asked that the orange coloured girl with blonde mane and wearing a cowboy or in this case cowgirl hat stepped forward and gave him a vigorous shake while she said.

"Hiya there partner my name's Applejack, but you can call me AJ it's nice ta meet ya." After that, she stopped her shaking and after that he said.

"It's nice to meet you AJ and may I say that is quite the hand shake you've got there." After her a butter yellow skinned girl with pink hair stepped forward and then she said in a quiet voice.

"Um my name's Fluttershy and it's nice to meet you as well."

"Well, it's nice to meet you as well." After that, she made her way to the table. After that, the light blue skinned girl with the rainbow hair stepped in front of him and said.

"And finally we left the best for last. My name is Rainbow Dash. Best football player and future wonder bolt. It's nice to meet you."

"Oh, so you're the best football player here. Well, I'm the best football player in Mexico, Russia and Japan. You ain't got nothing on me." He said while having a winning smirk on his face. He knew her type very well so he knew how to knock her ego down a peg or two and as he predicted her smirk turned into an angry frown.

"Are you threatening me?" She said in a dangerously low tone.

"Leo don't do anything stupid." Said Shimmer.

"Don't worry Sunset I'm just stating what's true." After that Rainbow dash said.

"That's it. You. Me. football field now. We are going to settle things there." With that said she stormed off.

"Great job Leo. Now you are going to get your face kicked in by her." Said Sunset.

"Again don't worry. I'm just going to knock her ego down a peg or two. Now if you excuse me now I need to find the football field." With that, he left the cafeteria. After that Sunset sighed and said.

"Let's go and follow them before they kill each other." With that, they all got up and ran after him.

After a minute Leo, Sunset and her friends got to the outside football field where Rainbow Dash was already training. When she noticed her friends and Leo she stopped her training and said. "Well look who finally decide to show up."

"Well sorry for not knowing my way around yet. Are you going to fault me for that." He said with a smirk.

"No, I guess not. Now get ready to play winner takes the title of the best football player in Canterlot." After that Leo took off his jacket and placed it on the tribune.

"Okay then lets play. First one to ten wins." With that Leo and Rainbow Dash went to the centre of the field to do the kickoff, but unnoticed to them, a red striped night fury was watching the entire game play from on top of the school

"Well, it looks like Leo is having a good time. Where's that fish that I caught because this looks like it's going to take awhile." Said Axel, while pulling out a fish. After that Leo and Rainbow started to play. Leo quickly took the ball for himself and started running towards Rainbows goal. She tried to stop him but was played. Then he shot and then he scored.

"One zip." Said Leo, while walking by Rainbow with a big know it all grin on his face.

"Oh, I'm going to enjoy wiping the ground with your face." Said Rainbow.

"I would love to see you try." After that she got so pissed that her face turned red. Then she went for the ball and kicked it straight at Leo. It flew so fast that it caught fire. Leo tried to block it, but when the ball struck him he was launched straight into his own goal. "One one." He said in a dazed voice. Then he shock his head and said. "Okay I can definitely see power, but power is nothing without skill."

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Well let me show you." After that, he kicked the ball in front of himself and started running towards Dash. When he was about one meter away he kicked the ball into the air twirled around Dash and scored a goal. "And that is what I call skill. Two one."

"Wow, that was definitely good. I can definitely see how you got the title of best player, but there can only be one." With that said they continued playing. After about twenty minutes the score was tied nine to nine.

"Okay then this one is the deciding point. lets go winner takes all." Said Leo. With that said Rainbow started her attack she tried to get past Leo, but was ultimately stopped by him. Then he took the ball and made a mad dash for her goal. Right before he was going to strike the final goal rainbow dash kicked the ball into the air. After that Leo and Dash looked at each other and then they both jumped for the ball to kick it from both sides, but when they struck it it popped and they both fell to the ground.

"Oh no not another one." Said Rainbow.

"Wait this happened before?" Asked Leo while raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, But it usually happens when Bulk Biceps plays. Oh well." After that Leo got up and walked up to Dash.

"Look Dash I'm sorry if I insulted you by saying those things. What do you say we call this a tie and say that we are both the best players and become friends." Then he lifted up his hand for a fist bump and waited.

"You know what your right lets put this behind us and be friends. Maybe you can join the football club." After that, she gave him the fist bump. After that Leo heard a high pitched whistle coming from the roof of the school.

"Well guys this was fun and all, but I need to go my uncle is waiting for me and he hates waiting." Everyone seemed to be a little saddened by that news. Especially Pinkie.

"But I didn't even throw you a welcome to Canterlot high party." She said in a sad voice.

"Sorry Pinkie, but I really need to go. Maybe tomorrow after school. Now I really need to go. See you all later." After that, he ran off to behind the school. Once there he met up with Axel.

"Well hello there Leo. One day at school and you are already surrounded by women. So who is the lucky mate?" After that remark, Leo started to blush. Then he lightly punched Axel and said.

"Shut up Axel. Even if I do like anyone of them you are going to be the last one to find out. Now let's go before someone finds us."

"Okay okay, party pooper. Jump on." After that he allowed Leo to climb on and then they quickly flew off towards the Everfree forest.

Once they both landed they were met with a peculiar scene. Amelia and Midnight were running around like someone cut off their heads while screaming. "The eggs are hatching. The eggs are hatching." When Axel heard that he also started to run around throwing Leo off. After he got back up he walked over to the nest where the eggs were located and found Zyon watching over them.

"Hiya pops are the eggs really hatching?"

"Yes, they are Leo. Can you please levitate the three chickens outside and calm them down. We don't want to scare the new borns." Leo simply nodded and went to do as he was asked. He concentrated and surrounded them with his red aura. After that, he levitated them towards himself and said.

"Now you guys calm down, or you are going to miss the magic moment. Now get your shit together and enter the cave." After that, he dropped them and then he went back to the nest. After about two minutes the rest of them followed. They arrived just in time to see the eggs crack and sure enough, two baby night furies popped out.

"Man they are so adorable." Said Leo.

"Yeah, they sure are. Hey, Leo. You want to name them?" Asked Amelia.

"Are you sure about that?"

"Yeah, you can do it. Let's see what you come up with." Said Axel. After that Leo looked at the two new dragons. After about a minute of thinking, he said while pointing at the black one.

"His name is going to be Toothless." Then he pointed to the blue one. "And her name is going to be Sapphire." After that, the baby dragons smiled and after that, they tackled Leo to the ground. After that everyone chuckled.

"Well, it looks like they like their new names and you as well." Said Zyon.

"Yeah, I guess they do." After that, the two little dragons fell asleep right on his chest.

"Oh, someones tired already. Let me take those two off of you and well take them to our cave. We'll probably see you again in the morning." With that Amelia picked up the two sleeping dragons, placed the on her back and after that she and Axel left the nest. After a minute Midnight asked.

"So how was your first day of school?"

"Oh let me tell you everything." After that, he started to talk about his day while they went towards their own cave.
