This time we are starting at the Canterlot high school library where Leos friends are telling him a few things about Crystal prep. "So girls what do I need to know?" Asked Leo. After that Rainbow Dash said.

"Nothing too major. The only thing that you need to know is that Crystal prep beats us at everything." She said while flipping through a book that she found on a shelf. All of the pictures were basically the same. The Crystal prep students are standing on the steps while holding some sort of sports equipment that is connected to the sport that they were competing against while the students of Canterlot high stand beside them on the ground looking sad. After some time Leo took the book and flipped through it.

"Man when you say everything you mean everything, but this year is going to be different because Canterlot high's going to win right." He said. After that Rainbow said.

"You bet your ass that we are. Because I'm going to be giving the motivational speech that the entire school needs." After that Leo landed on a very peculiar picture. Under it was written the disaster of the fall formal festival Sunset Shimmer and on top of those words was a picture of a red demon with black and teal eyes wearing a tiara in her fiery hair.

"Um Sunset could you explain something to me you don't have to if it's a touchy subject, but I really want to know about this." Then he turned the book around and showed her the picture. When Sunset saw it her face immediately turned into fear.

"Um, that is um is." After a few seconds of that, she simply sighed and started to explain. "That's me when I tried to take over the school by using a magic tiara that I found on the other side of a portal and after I put it on the magic turned me into that and now whenever we play our instruments we quote on quote pony up." After that Leo just looked dumbfounded. Then he closed the book and asked.

"So there is magic at this school and you six can do something that is called 'pony up'?" They all nodded. But Sunset still looked like she was about to get hit. Leo just sighed and said. "That was probably a tough secret to tell me Sunset, so I'm going to tell you one of mine." After that she said.

"No Leo you don't have to." He simply raised his hand and said.

"I insist I don't like to see you all mopey and stuff so I'm going to tell you one of my secrets. Now get ready because it's a doozy." After he said that everybody got closer to him. "I have magic." He said in a slightly quieter tone and after he did everyone looked at him like was crazy.

"Leo don't joke with me how can you have magic if you weren't here when that big explosion happened." Said Sunset.

"Look I don't know how I got it, but I do know that I have it and that I had it for an entire year."

"Okay then prove it. What instrument do you play?" Said Rainbow and when she did Leo just looked at her as if she was stupid.

"Why do I need an instrument to use my magic?" Asked Leo while raising an eyebrow. "Do you think it would be easier to cast." He asked more to himself than anyone else.

"Yes, but those are like training wheels we are already above that level." Said Bill.

"Um because that is how magic works around here." Said rainbow. After that Leo got a smirk and started to concentrate on the magic inside of him and enveloped her in a red aura and then he raised her into the air. After Rainbow finally registered that she was flying she started to flail around. "Hey what's the big idea?" After that Leo raised his hand to show that it was also encased in his red aura and after that, he slowly lowered her down to the ground. After that, he dispelled his magic and said.

"And that is what you call magic, but I still want to see this pony up that you guys have if I can." He said with a smirk on his face while everyone else excluding Rainbow Dash looked dumbfounded. "You better close your mouths before you start catching flies." That snapped them out and then Sunset asked.

"Why didn't you tell us this sooner?"

"Well at the time I didn't know that this school already knew about magic and let's just say for a moment that a guy would start telling people that he had magic. At first, he would be labelled a crazy person and after that when he proved them wrong a freak. So you can kinda see why I didn't tell you sooner I hope that you can forgive for that." After that explanation sunk in Sunset said.

"Is that the reason you moved to this school?" She asked.

"That was one reason, but not the main one. The main one was the food in the cafeteria. It's at least one thousand times better than at any other school around here. It also has nicer students and nicer teachers." He said with a big smile on his face. After that Sunset lightly punched him and said.

"I'm trying to get a serious conversation and you just brush it off. It's good to know that you didn't change that much Leo."

"Yeah, I guess that's true." He said. After that, there was a voice coming from the intercom system. It was Celestia's and it said.

"Every student come to the indoor gym so that we can give the final announcement regarding the friendship games. That will be all."

"Well, guys lets go you don't want to miss my pep talk for the entire school." Said Rainbow. With that everyone got up and made their way towards the gym.

Once at the gym they quickly took their seats at the tribune in the back and waited for the principal to begin her speech after a minute she finally got on stage with vice principal Luna following behind. After Celestia got to the mic she started to talk. " As I am sure you all know, tomorrow, Canterlot High School will be hosting our fellow students from Crystal Prep Academy as we join together in the spirit of excellence, sportsmanship, and fidelity to compete in the Friendship Games." After that, every student cheered in an unenthused way. Except for Leo who decided to cheer out loud how it was supposed to be done. After that, every one looked at him.

"What?" After that Celestia continued.

"Since the games only happen every four years, I'm sure you're all curious what goes on." After that a student said.

"You mean other than us losing?!" Celestia just continued.

"And that is exactly why I've asked Rainbow Dash to come up and give you all a little, um... context." After that Rainbow Dash got on stage and took the microphone from the principal.

"Thank you, Principal Celestia. I know a lot of you might think there's no way we can beat a fancy school like Crystal Prep at anything." She said. After that Pinkie decided to speak up.

"Unless it's a "losing to Crystal Prep" competition! 'Cause we're really good at that!" After that rainbow dash groaned and after that she said. After that, some music started to play and then she started to sing.

After she finished the song finished Leo and all of his friends gathered backstage to congratulate Rainbow and to ask questions. "Wow so that is what you girls call pony up, well it's definitely interesting, to say the least." After that Sunset asked.

"Yeah it was cool, but why did it happen? it usually only happens when we play our instruments." After that principal, Luna walked up to them and said.

"Well, it would be nice if you girls could get a handle on it. We'd like to keep magic as far away from the Friendship Games as possible. We don't want to be accused of cheating." After that Rarity said.

"We don't need magic to defeat those hoity-toity Crystal Preppers." Everyone agreed and after that Luna said.

"Still, the Friendship Games are serious business. We don't want any surprises. Especially the kind that could cause us to forfeit. Sunset Shimmer, you came here from a world of magic. Perhaps you can get to the bottom of our magical development." Then Sunset said.

"I'll do my best." After that Luna left and went to her office and then Rainbow asked.

"Okay. Anybody have any guesses what the events are gonna be?" After that pinkie asked.

"Pie eating? Cake eating?" She said while pulling the aforementioned sweets out of her hair. Then she gasped and smashed them together. "Pie-cake eating?!" After that Applejack wiped the cake of her face and said.

"They won't even let us see what they're doin' to the field. You think they'd at least tell competitors what they're competing in." After that Leo said.

"Well whatever it is I'm sure you are going to beat Crystal prep at them, now if you excuse me I need to go to and Meet principal Celestia because I volunteered to help out in the preparations for the welcome party for them so I guess I'll see you later." With that said, Leo left the group and went to find the principal. After a couple minutes of searching, he finally found her talking to a couple of students. "Hello, principal Celestia I'm here what do you need me to do?" Celestia then turned to him and said.

"Ah hello, Leo it's nice to see you here. As for what you can do you and Flash Sentry can go back into storage and bring up a couple of tables so that we can serve some refreshments." Then she turned to a light orange skinned boy with a spiky blue hair.

"Flash Sentry come over here I Have something for you to do." With that, the now named Flash Sentry came over and asked.

"Yes, principal what do you need me for?" The principal smiled and said.

"You and Leo over here are going down into storage and are picking up a couple of tables and chairs. Now I'll leave you to it." With that Celestia walked off and Leo and Flash were left alone.

"Hey, you are that one guy that was all super excited about the friendship games?" Asked Flash. After that Leo smirked.

"And aren't you the guy who was all pessimistic about losing even though you know we are going to win this year." After that Flash also smiled.

"Good one. Now let's go and get those tables and chairs." He said while pointing behind himself.

"Yeah, lets go." With that said they both made their way down into storage to get the tables. Once they brought everything up they set it up and placed them around the room. After some time of them setting things up Flash asked Leo.

"So Leo how long have you been going to this school. I've newer seen you around here."

"Yeah I've been a little busy with my studies and when I'm not in class I'm usually walking around the campus as for how long I've been here. I've been here for four days." Answered Leo while setting up a chair.

"So why are you so sure that we are going to win this time? We have never won before so why?" Asked Flash.

"Let's say that I have this gut feeling about that and it never failed me before so I trust it."

"Well, I just don't see ourselves winning that's all." Said Flash. After that Leo smiled.

"Do you want to make a bet?" Flash then turned to him and smiled.

"What are the stakes?" He asked.

"Oh this is going to be good. Make him run around the entire campus only in his underwear." Said Bill.

"Oh, that's good but no. If I win you are going to go and dump a bucket of ice cold water on yourself and if you win hen I'm going to do it. So what do you say do we have a deal?" Said Leo, while extending out his head. Then Flash put his hand into Leos and said.

"Deal." After that, a subtle red glow appeared in their hands and then Flash said. "Get ready to lose." Leo only smiled and said.

"I would love to see you try." After that principal, Celestia called everyone over.

"Okay then everyone you did a great job now you can go and enjoy the rest of your day." With that said everyone started to leave, but before Leo left he was stopped by Flash.

"Hey, Leo lets meet up sometime okay." Leo nodded and then he left to go to the library.

On his way towards the library, he was stopped by Rarity. "Oh hello, Leo. Are you by any chance free at this moment?"

"Yes. Why?"

"Oh good then come with me I need your opinion on something." After that, she grabbed him by his arm and dragged him off towards her boutique.

"But I wanted to go on a computer." Whined Leo.

"You can do that later now come along." After that, they left the school and went towards her boutique while Leos grumbling the entire way. When they finally reached her boutique Rarity quickly placed Leo on a podium and started to measure him.

"Um, Rarity what are you doing?" He asked.

"Oh, I'm just taking your measurements. I do this for any of my friends so that I can make some clothes for them from time to time. Could you stretch out your arms to the sides?" Leo did as he was asked and then he said.

"Rarity you do know that I didn't ask for any clothes right?"

"Yeah I know but I always do at least one outfit for each friend and I'm not taking no for an answer. Now go and sit down over there and I'm going to have your outfit done in twenty minutes in that time you can parose my other creations. Oh yeah, and would you be against wearing a fedora?" Asked Rarity while she walked over to her sewing machine.

"Um no, I have nothing against that."

"Okay, then you sit down and wait for me to finish up." With that said she went to her sewing machine and started on his new attire. Leo then went to the boutique and checked every piece of clothing that was on display. When he finally checked out everything Rarity called him. "Okay, then darling here are your new attires." When Leo looked her way he found her in her ponied up form holding four outfits in her hands.

"Um Rarity why are you in your ponied up form and why did you make multiple outfits for me?" After that Rarity took a look at herself and said.

"Oh, I guess I did pony up. Well, that's not the main point. What do you think of your new outfits?" After that, he took the outfits in his magic and levitated them around himself. They weren't anything too special they basically just redoes of his current outfit. The first one was a pair of black pants with an orange T-shirt with a fire motive on it and a black leather jacket with a dragon skull on the back. The second one was a pair of white pants with a plain black T-shirt and a white jacket. The third one was a pair of jeans with a blue shirt with a red dragon claw on it and a black leather jacket with a little bit of a fire pattern crawling up his sleeves and the last one was a pair of black jeans with two red lines going down the sides another red T-shirt and another black jacket with the same motive as the jeans. The final piece of clothing that he floated in front of him was a completely black fedora which he put on right away.

"So what do you think?" Asked Rarity.

"I don't know what to say Rarity these are awesome. I love them, but I can't take them for free." Said Leo, while floating all of the new clothes on a hanger nearby.

"Oh, pish posh darling you can take them." Then Leo raised his hand and said.

"I insist at least let me help you out at the store if nothing else." After that Rarity said.

"Okay, I'll let you help out at the store. I'm going to be showing off a couple of dresses and you are going to rate them." That seemed reasonable so he agreed. After that Rarity went to the back of the store and with her she brought four full hangers of dresses. After that, he started to regret his decision.

"This is going to be a long day." With that said he got himself comfortable and prepared to score all of the dresses.

After about two and a half hours Leo left the boutique with a bag full of clothes, a new fedora and little bit of a headache and started walking towards the school. On the way there he was talking to Bill. "Bill how many clothes did you count?"

"I counted at least one hundred and fifty-seven. Man, this headache is going to kill me in here."

"What is happening in there?" Asked Leo while walking down the sidewalk.

"Well it looks like hell. Literally, it looks like hell. Fire and brimstone and everything. Does that answers your question?"

"Yeah, it does." After he said that he bumped into someone and fell to the ground after that he heard a quiet voice say.

"Oh excuse me, sir, I wasn't paying attention where I was going." Leo recognised that voice immediately.

"Fluttershy?"

"Oh hello there Leo what are you doing here?" Asked Fluttershy while picking up some papers. Leo started to help her out and then he answered.

"I was just leaving Rarities boutique and you better get ready to model a couple of dresses tomorrow. So what are you doing here?" Asked Leo while handing her the papers that he collected.

"Oh I'm just trying to find some volunteers to work at the animal shelter, but I wasn't that successful." She said in a saddened tone. Leos heart then promptly exploded. He hated seeing his friends sad so he decided to cheer her up.

"Hey, Fluttershy." She raised her head. "Can I join you for today. I may not look like it but I'm actually quite the animal lover. So can I help." After that, she got the biggest smile and said.

"Really you really want to help." Leo then nodded and after that, he was dragged off to the animal shelter.

Once they got to the animal shelter Leo took a look around. To the left of the door, there was a desk where there was allot of paperwork on it. The rest of the space was filled with all kinds of different chew toys, sleeping baskets and other things that were meant for animals. After he finished his observation Fluttershy started to the animals. "Hello, there little ones. Today we are having a guest with us his name is Leo and he is going to be helping me today. Now everyone say high to Leo." With that, all the animals made their sounds to say hello.

"Well aren't you the friendliest little guys." He said while petting a dog that stepped up to him. Then he turned to Fluttershy and asked. "So what's first on the list of things to do?"

"First we are going to feed them, then we are going to clean them and then w are going to get them ready for bed." She said. After that, he placed his bag and fedora on the counter and then he said.

"Okay then let's get started." With that said they started on feeding the animals. After that, they started on the bathing. While they were doing that Fluttershy asked.

"So Leo do you have a pet?" She asked while cleaning a dog.

"Well I don't have a pet but I do have two baby cousins." He answered while drying off a kitten.

"Oh, are they allot of trouble?" Leo only chuckled and then he answered.

"You have no idea. One of them once tried to cook a fish and almost burned the entire house once." Fluttershy was shocked to hear that. "Don't worry nobody got hurt and nothing was burned. Well except for the fish." After that, she calmed down.

"Are you planning on adopting a pet?"

"No sadly I can't my parents are allergic so I kinda can't bring home any animals." Lied Leo.

"Smooth dragon boy smooth." Said Bill. After that Fluttershy passed the dog over to Leo and he started on drying him off.

"Well, that's the last one. I'm going to go and get started on getting them to sleep." With that, she left and went to do that. Leo then quickly finished off. After five minutes of drying, he let the dog go and went to see what Fluttershy was doing. She was currently tending to the hamsters. "Okay, then little ones lets go to sleep so that we can wake up full of energy in the morning." After she said that Leo heard Axels signal.

"Um Fluttershy I would love to stay and finish up, but my uncle is calling me." He said in a saddened tone of voice.

"Oh, it's okay Leo. You were a big help. I can finish off on my own." Leo then smiled and said.

"Thanks, Flutters. I'll see you tomorrow at school." He said while he picked up his hat and bag of clothes.

"See you tomorrow." With that said he left the store and started walking towards where he heard the signal. His search ended when he went into an alleyway and sure enough, there is where he found Axel waiting for him with a smug grin on his face.

"What?" After that Axel said.

"Looks like someone had fun on their date." After that Leo started to blush.

"For your information that wasn't a date. I was only helping her out at the animal shelter. Now shall we go before I have to punch you again." Axel only continued to smirk after that he lowered himself so that Leo could climb on.

"Whatever you say." When Leo got on, Axel spread his wings and they flew off towards the cove.

When they landed he jumped off of Axel and when he did Amelia walked over to them and said. "Ah hello there Leo. Sorry if I'm springing this on you, but could you dragon sit Sapphire and Toothless. I want to visit my parents today and it would be really super. I'll even pay you."

"Why don't you ask Zyon or Midnight to do it?" After that, she looked at him with a flat stare.

"They went out hunting and they are going to be returning at around sunset. So can I count on you?" Leo then sighed and nodded.

"Okay, then I'm going to do it." After that Amelia smiled and reached behind her and handed him the two little dragons.

"Okay, we'll be back at around sunset. Now let's go, Axel." With that they both took to the skies and Leo was left alone with the two dragons.

"Okay then you two let's go to my cave and drop off my new clothes and after that, we are going to play." They both let out small roars and with that as his prompt, he started to walk towards his cave. When he dropped off his things in his room he got a ball and started to play with the two little dragons. After about ten minutes of playing Leo heard their stomachs growl. After that, they went up to him and started to beg for some food. "Yeah I'm going I'm going, just stop with the puppy dog eyes." With that, he quickly went to the back and got two fish. He cooked them and then he gave them to the dragons after they finished their food they yawned and started to fall asleep. "It looks like you two are tired now. Okay then let's get you to sleep." With that, he picked them up and went to the couch that he had in the living room and sat down in it. After about half an hour Leo also started to become sleepy and after a short battle the day's events finally caught up to him and he fell asleep.
