Equestria Girls In Disguise: Wolf In The Fold
Old Memories Hurt

Just to let you know, I am throwing something in here. I put in an explanation for how there is all of these primitive Transformers since I didn't think they got a lot of explanation, and I thought there should be some explanation for them in this series since it combines with a few others. World-building is necessary right?
Old Memories Hurt
We now return to the Transformers...
Underground, far below Canterlot City, was a set of subways. Since there was no ground above for train transportation, they built subways underground for people to travel faster. However, much like the subways in Manehattan, these subways were dark, damp, and disgusting. They were barely clean, the walls were covered with graffiti, and disgusting residue leaked from the top of the ceilings.
But in this underground passageways, there was something that no one, not even the humans could pick up on. An unscheduled and unknown train was riding the rails underground. The train was colored in white, with glowing orange neon circles around the wheels and axles, and orange colored streaks on the sides of the passenger cars.
All throughout the subways, it kept on zooming past passengers and other trains, not even taking a second to look around it. This train was on a non-stop schedule bound for its destination.
The subway train zoomed for 10 more minutes before grinding to a halt in one of the passageways on a crossing. Once it stopped, steam puffed from the bottom of the wheels as the transport began to calm down. Soon, it began to convert its shape.
The train began to fold itself together, making it a little smaller than it was before, and near the front, a snake-like head began to form with a pair of yellow deathly eyes. Three arms began to slide out from the front, two on the sides, and one singular claw in the middle with two talons. The figure had changed back into his alternate form ready to move.
He turned his head to a wall, near a crevice that was covered with plywood and boards, sealing the entrance off. He pulled the pieces off, and he slithered inside the entrance, making sure every part of him didn't get caught or run over by another oncoming train. As soon as he made it inside, he sealed the entrance with the boards again.
Slithering along the ground, he entered inside a dark and ominous room. There were a few electrical generators that were sizzling with electricity sparks, chains hung from the ceiling, and all around were tables with science equipment and chemistry sets.
"Now that I'm here... its time to return to my experiments."
Vertebreak slided over to one of his tables and pulled out a few blueprints. Using his hands, he pulled out some other supplies, including a little device displaying holographic screens with pictures of strange creatures who had giant X's over them.
"No... no... no!" Vertebreak screamed, "I can't return to Cybertron with all of these! These are useless! I need a new experiment, something to really get back at all of those bolt brains... But what can I use?"
Vertebreak hit his fingers on the hologram screen, displaying some images from the very planet. And as the images kept on flipping, each one was showing a different form of life.
"This planet has the weirdest life forms... and I thought the lifeforms on Cordax are weird," Vertebreak muttered to himself.
He flipped through more pictures and found a few weird photos. Many of them were of humans taking pictures together, and a bunch of them had the strangest of poses. One in particular showed a teenager at a rock and roll concern with a mohawk, his tongue sticking out and his index finger and pinky finger sticking up while his middle finger and ring finger were tucked away.
Vertebreak tilted his head in confusion and looked at his left hand. Lowering his middle finger, and tucking away his thumb, he extended his index finger and pinky finger out, creating the same pose. Then he squinted his eyes observing the poster again, and stuck his tongue out making the same silly expression.
His tongue slided back in his mouth and his hand slapped his side.
"These organics are weird."
As he kept on flipping through the photos, he stopped when he saw an interesting picture in mind. One with the same Autobot he attacked, and it he was with a cyan-tone colored girl with rainbow colored hair.
"Hm... friends?"
Vertebreak scrolled through more pictures and his curiosity enticed him to keep on looking. The first photos were of these strange humans, but now he was finally getting to the juicy stuff. Pictures of the humans with the Autobots were taken from people's phones were now showing, and a bunch of them were mostly showing the Autobots with their friends.
"It would seem as if the Autobots have taken a new life on this planet. And if they've made friends with these humans... then maybe I can use one of them for my new experiment. The Crystal City Science Council won't even see it coming... Yes, a new hybrid of machine and organic..." Vertebreak let out a maniacal laughter, "Prepare your doom you old bucket of bolts, my revenge will be swift, and painful!!!"
Vertebreak's laughter echoed all throughout his underground lab, and it all stay muffled inside of the enclosed room. No one from the outside could even hear him plan out his plot...
The Autobots over at the base couldn't believe what Sunset had done. Standing in front of them was a Decepticon fugitive, and Sunset was letting it stand next to her freely without any bonds whatsoever. How could she do something that's so utterly stupid and dangerous?
"Sunset, what were you thinking!?" Tracks shrieked, "You can't just let this fugitive wander freely! He's in the top of Cybertron's Most Wanted for spark's sake!"
"Tracks, I know. But if he's in the top most wanted, how come I found him with a chained up Airachnid along with the fact that he's behaved himself the entire time he's been with me and the girls?"
"Ma'am, with all due respect, this Decepticon has manipulation and deception logged into his mugshot. He could be manipulating you this very instant," Strongarm snapped.
"Strongarm--"
"No, for once, Strongarm's correct. This Decepticon is most likely a danger to you and your friends, how can you let him wander without a leash?"
"Tracks--"
"You can't be this trusting Sunset, he should be dismantled, and thrown into a Decepticon junkyard!"
"ENOUGH!" Sunset screamed at the top of her lungs, silencing everyone. "I know you're not thrilled with my decision, but do I need to remind you that I'm in charge right now? Optimus is still away with his away team and he left me in charge. I know what I'm doing, and I'm going to continue doing things the way I would do it. Even though offering a chance of redemption is something Optimus would do, I'm gonna do it too."
Strongarm and Tracks groaned in annoyance as they stomped off.
"20 credits says that monster attacks her," Tracks whispered.
Sunset groaned and stomped away. She may have upset some of the Bots, but she wasn't going to give up her decision. This Con was still behaving fine, they just needed to get to know him some more.
Wandering into the lounge room, she smiled when she saw the same wolf again who was patiently waiting for her and the rest of the girls. And it would seem he was starting to get along with some of the girls. With the shrinking technology, he was shrunken down to human size which gave him opportunity to interact with their everyday technology and life.
"So Sunset, why exactly did you have them shrink me down to your size?"
"Its fun. Plus with the size you are now, you'll be able to experience what we do every day. Its more fun this way," Sunset smiled.
Weirdwolf smiled back. Sunset looked closely and she saw his tail wagging side to side, making her giggle, and apparently everyone else too.
"Weirdwolf, mind if I can ask you a question? For scientific curiousity of course," Twilight hesitated.
"I don't mind. You may feel free to ask me as many questions as you desire, and I'll see if I can do my best to answer them."
"Oh, perfect! I wanted to ask, how come you have this, canine-like appearance? Most of the Cybertronians we know have natural bodies kind of like us humans, but how come you have this primitive form?"
"I will gladly explain. You see, during the war for Cybertron, the Autobots and Decepticons began departing our home and going across the world and scanning different forms of organic life. They believed that possessing different forms other than simple vehicles would provide a bigger advantage and strengths in the war. So they simply went to worlds with organic life, ran a few scans on the many forms of life there, and returned back to Cybertron to use for some of our creations. And most of the organic life they scanned I believe is from your world."
"Like the Dinobots being forged from dinosaurs, and the Predacons formed from predators," Twilight replied.
"Correct. But as for how they come into existence, most of us primitives are forged in our early creation dates."
"So, this means that a majority of the primitive Cybertronians were born with those features," Sunset said.
"Exactly. Just like me. I was born with this primitive style of your Earth wolves, hence why some features of me move like your natural creatures," he said pointing to his twitching ears and wagging tail.
Sunset nodded, "I see... And I guess this would also explain why bots like Pseudo look like an insect--"
Weirdwolf gave a small but acknowledging smile.
"Why you look like a wolf--"
He nodded again.
"Or even why Vertebreak looks like a snake."
Weirdwolf's body froze and his tail jolted in place, and his ears stuck up. A snarl formed in his mouth, and they could hear him growl.
"Who... did you say looked like a snake?"
Sunset froze, "Um... did I say something to offend you?"
Weirdwolf stopped himself for a brief second and took a moment to breathe in and out, "I'm sorry. But I just hoped I wouldn't have to hear that name again."
"Vertebreak?" Pinkie asked.
Weirdwolf snarled again, "Yes... that wretched snake..."
Sunset and Twilight's eyes darted back and forth with concern, both going to the wolf, and to each other, and back to the wolf.
"Weirdwolf, do you have something against Vertebreak?"
Weirdwolf sighed in and out.
"Yes... I do. There's something I never told anyone, but it is in my dossier," he said pointing to the little control pad in Sunset's hand.
Sunset pulled up the control pad again, and she pulled up Weirdwolf's profile.
"Third paragraph below. You'll see what I mean," he said back to his calm composure.
Sunset squinted her eyes and cleared her throat, "Okay I see. It says you used to work for Vertebreak, but you immediately stopped working for him when you finally found out about his experiments."
Weirdwolf nodded, "I saw horrible things. Despicable things. Things that no organic life should ever go through. He mutated them, he turned innocent life forms into monsters... and he... he...took away my brother."
"Huh?", the girls asked.
"Vertebreak... took away my brother..."
"What?"
Weirdwolf growled, "Vertebreak took away my brother!"
Sunset and the girls gasped.
"He... he did what?"
Weirdwolf scrunched his face, "The day I quit working for him... was the day I lost the only family I had. The closest thing I had to a friend was my brother, and he... he took him away..."
Weirdwolf covered his face, unable to look any of them in the eye.
"Hey, hey, come here..." Sunset pulled him in, and patted the little fins sticking out his back. "Its okay... Shhh..."
She rubbed his back and she could hear him calming down, breathing heavily.
Twilight felt her phone vibrating in one of her pockets and she pulled it out, reading a signal.
"Girls. Fugitive is on the move," Twilight said, "I think you know who."
They nodded and slowly backed off from Sunset holding Weirdwolf in a hug.
"Um... Sunset? Are you gonna--" Rainbow asked.
"You girls go on ahead. I'm gonna catch up with you later. Stay together and stay in contact. Okay?" Sunset asked.
"We got it. We'll see you later," Twilight said before she and the others ran out of the room to go leave.
Sunset continued to hold Weirdwolf until he finally backed away from the hug, a few leaks of lubricant visible from his eye. Sunset slowly wiped the tears away and offered a sympathetic look.
"Weirdwolf, I am so sorry..."
"Sunset, its alright. You didn't know, and neither did any of you," he said, breathing in and out.
Sunset thought what could she do. He looked distressed out of his mind. What could she do to cheer him up? Wait... he only crash landed in a part of the desert. Did he even get to see much of their world? Maybe she could show him around?
"Hey, I have an idea. You want to see what this world has to offer?"
Weirdwolf nodded, "I would like to see more of this planet. But, I thought we were going to hang out with your friends?"
"We can catch up with them later. You look upset, I think you need some time to calm down first. You in?"
The wolf paused for a moment and came to a nod.
"Perfect! Follow me, we've got to get you back to your normal size, and I've got to put on my suit."
Sunset walked first, and the ex-Con followed right behind her. What could she possibly have up her sleeve?
Weirdwolf had acquired his full size and strength once again, and Sunset had slipped back into her Phoenix Prime power suit, ready to roll with the wolf. The two of them stood in front of a pathway that was paved, and above them were giant metallic circular rings surrounding the pathways that engulfed the pathway in.
"You two ready?" Ratchet asked.
"Yes Ratchet. We're ready," Sunset replied.
Weirdwolf's body converted into vehicular form, and Sunset's Phoenix Prime suit converted into a big rig but with no trailer. Their engines turned on and they hummed as they sat still waiting for Ratchet to turn on the Groundbridge.
"I'll radio you if your friends need you back," Ratchet said.
"Understood. Now lets get moving!"
The machine powered up with energy, and a green portal spawned at the end of the pathway. The two cars began to drive and they passed on through the portal, entering in on the other side while the back of it closed behind them. It was time for a tour of the world!
