After months are learning about ponyville Toren begins to grow accustomed to his new environment and those he has come in contact with. Through his experience he's been in excellent care in Twilight's home as a former guest to study and practice his abilities as an Alicorn as well as becoming a good ruler through her lessons that he was mastering quickly on the first trys without even giving an effort which made Twilight rather jealous by his massive powers that comes so naturally to him when she has tried for years to accomplish.

Once the lessons were finished Toren would usually stay in his room and read books and learn more about his history and how to gain more power to make sure that everything is just right for anything that were to come to him path. But there was one thing standing in his way, it was lack of sleep and nourishment, for weeks he has been sick, sore, and restless and it has all begun to happen eversince he was attacked by the bugbear in ponyville when he rescued the mane six from danger.

The pain was unbearable that he couldn't hold down a thing without having it build back up into vomit, his healing spells can't seem reach the problem but instead it makes it worse by disloving it back to his horn. Tired by his weak body he lays down unto his bed to rest his eyes to gain closesure, as he remained asleep his mind grew dim into a black foggy dream, surround by trees that connected to eachother forming a hollow tunnel that formed a narrow path to darkness.

Wanting to remain asleep he allows the dream to continue on that lead to himself running away from three shadows with eyes red as blood that took away his wings and horn by their dark magic. Afraid by their appearance he jumped across a log to gain more distance and speed until he makes a complete stop gripping against the ground as his face stops hanging down a cliff that lead to nothing but pure darkness.

His ears perked up in shock by laughter coming from the shadow monsters, he was trapped with no escape to safety. Terrified his body slowly turns around the emotion of fear turned into agony as he was faced with three giant shadow bears with red eyes that pierced through his soul when they glowed towards his presence.

One looks at Toren chuckling "Look at him shake and tremble?"

The other bear nods as they circle around Toren "Yes and soon he will face his doom", they all laugh in unision that formed a strong wind trying to blow Toren to the edge of the cliff.

The stallion breathes heavily as the third bear laughs "Are you a afraid little pony?", the bear smiles looking deep into Torens eyes.

Trying to remain brave he speaks calmly "Okay, okay now I'm fraid but-"

"Yes and as you should be little pony and your death lies upon you and it will grow until you can no longer breath, and you will die!", Toren's eyes narrowed towards the monster as he watched each shadow walked around him like birds in search for prey.

Toren growls at them to show bravery feeling the fire in his belly that attacks the shadows, the fire incinerated them long enough for him to escape by a portal that came from his mind. Tired by the running he stops by a tree to catch his breath, his body began to take a tole on him by the massive amount of indurance that he collapses on the ground exhausted.

Slowly the bears appear infront of him ready to devour his soul and flesh, Toren desperately needed a way out of this but had no magic to teleport, or will go to fly out. Exhausted by the pain in his stomach he looks at them helpless in the center of the circle surrounded by the shadows full of saliva in their crooked smiles as they stepped closer towards the defenseless creature. Toren closed his eyes and turns his head accepting his horrid fate, or so he thought until a bright light gracefully shines infront of him.

The light flickers as it speaks "Leave foul demons or we shall vanquish thee!", the monsters disappear instantly leaving Luna as she watches her poor nephew shaking like a leaf with his eyes closed.

Luna causing goes to him and places her hoof on his claw-hoof "Do not fret my nephew for thy monsters are no longer among you"

"W-What were they?"

"Nightmares and I believe they are the same ones that haunt you when you sleep?"

Toren nods "Yes.. and it keeps happening, but they never spoke before until now, and they said that I'll soon die by what lies inside me. Am I to become evil?"

Curiously he watches as the Princess looks away from him in silence, as for Luna she knew what he was referring to for it has happened before long ago to great leaders that fell down to the same path. Not sure what to expect he walks beside her and looks at her to gain her attention with respect for her for saving his life.

She softly sighs "My nephew I fear this is not a dream but a vision of your future and what will soon occur."

"But will my future lead to it dying? Or me? Is there something we can do to stop the darkness from taking over?"

"In some way yes but comes with a price which will soon be revealed but I'm afraid my time is now limited for the sun is rising and I must leave! ", she flies away into a bright light that vanished.

Toren looks up "Aunt Luna wait!"

Startled by the dream he wakes up covered in cold sweat, breathing heavily trying to get back to reality.

Once he was closed off he gets up to walk around the room to write down every detail of this dream in his journal. Toren looks at the words that remained on the paper and closed it frustrated by this dream he throws the book against the door growling. Not knowing what to do with the whole thing he looks at the mirror and sees his reflection that showed his bed hair.

Ammused by his look he laughs "Woah look at my hair I must have been dreaming. However I don't think this will impress Starlight if I walked out like this she'd properly get a good laugh", with magic he grabs a brush and begins to fix his hair as he whistles a small tune.

As he continues the motion a sharp pain entered his stomach that was so intense that he collapses on the ground in a ball with his teeth closed shut to not yell. Struggling to keep his emotions together he puts a pillow over his face as the pain increased, tightening his muscles to stiffen together like a pretzel. Finally after a few seconds it began to losen and break off the discomforting experience, unsure about the possibility of falling again Toren carefully leaned against the dresser breathing heavily concerned. Within his breaths he felt something going forward against his skin that startled the prince until he slowly looked down almost in tears knowing what was happening.

Gently the stallion placed his clawhoof over his soft belly "Don't worry little one it's okay, everything will be alright I promise nothing bad will come to you. I swear to you that you'll be safe as long as you're with me, daddy will make sure of that. But I need to be strong for me so I can help you, okay? Can you do that for me chaos?"

Softly he chuckles almost crying when he felt his baby moving forward near his claw-hoof as of it was trying to communicate back to him, Toren felt torn remembering the fatal circumstances of his curse that allowed him to become pregnant. However it came with a terrible punishment to where both him or the baby could perish by the darkness that was held inside the stallions body along with his baby that grew day by day eversince he came to ponyville after saving Twilight and her friends that soon later accepted him as a friend to.

Exhausted by the pain Toren tried to relax until something caught his attention that smelled delightful, curious to know where it was coming from the stallion teleports to the door opening it immediately.

Before he walked down the stairs he could see Twilight setting up the table for breakfast with Starlight. Not wanting to disturb them he sits down and watches them high above from afar leaning against the golden rail, that way he could just stare at his mare who was not even interested in him. Memorized by her beautiful complexions he stares at her smiling in complete wonder as she helps Twilight with the table for the food that Spike was preparing in the kitchen.

Toren looks over smelling the food that his body made a familar noise, he looks down and chuckled rubbing his small belly "Oh so that's why your causing me all this trouble you're just hungry, dramatic much?", softly he smiled rolling his eyes snickering until a plate almost hit him in the face.

"Starlight you need to be careful somepony could get hurt!", Twilight yells as Starlight sat down.

With a small blush Starlight smiles "Sorry Twilight sometimes my magic just has a mind if it's own"

"Haha very funny well can you please be more careful and control it before you break something like last time", she scoffs towards her student as she fixes the plates with her magic.

Starlight folds her arms in defeat "Fine, and besides you always tell me to improve my magic by using it remember?"

Twilight turns her head "Yes to use for good and to become a wonderful student and don't use my words to turn against me. But as your friend I implore you to be more aware of your surroundings okay?"

"Alright fine I'll be in more control next time. I promise. Cross my heart and hope to fly stick a cupcake in my eye.", Twilight rolls her eyes ignoring her so she could focus.

Soon after Twilight finished the last plate and straightened the silverware Spike walked out with a cart of food. Toren looks at the food that he leans against the rail in awe, his tail wags back and forth like a puppy wanting a treat and waiting to be feed by its master.

Twilight looks over and sees his guest over them with a smIle "Oh good morning Toren you're just in time for breakfast would you like to join us? Wait how long have you been sitting up there anyway?"

"Long enough to see Starlight make a mess", he says as he winks directly at Starlight as he teleports to the table to sit right beside her.

With a blush she looks away from him as he looks at her with an evil smile to bug her even more until she uses her magic to pull his ear. Toren yelps by her quick move that lead to her using magic to knock him over. Startled by the fall Spike helps him up as Twilight glares at Starlight.

Once Toren was settled into his seat he rubs his ear before looking at her again irritated by their unique relationship they are forming. Unsure on what lies ahead he uses magic to knock her over in return grateful that she didn't turn him into a frog like last time so I guess she was warming up to him, so he had hope that one day she'll be his.

Starlight glares as Toren smiles "Whoops sorry malady sometimes my magic has a mind of its own sometimes", Twilight chuckles remembering what her student said moments ago realizing what he was trying to do.

Blushing she got back up and sat down "Really did you hear that when you were spying on us from the balcony? Or just being a nosy overgrowned foal!", she snorts angrily.

"Spying? I was observing and making sure that you had something to aim it. You're really quite good at magic maybe you can give me some pointers, unless you're not capable of doing that sort of thing.", his tone started to grow on Starlight as he begins to eat his food leaving her alone in her thoughts that she was struggling desperately to avoid.

After breakfast was done Starlight follows Toren ten steps behind as he enters the library with Twilight watching his every move closely with a sharp eye until the door was shut infront of her. Curious to know what they were talking about she teleports and hides behind one of the giant book shelves to listen in on their conversation.

Twilight grabs some books with her magic "So can you explain to me why you need all these books? I mean not bragging books are the best way when it comes to relaxing but why on old history?", the purple Alicorn began to place the books on the table in order as Toren sat down.

With magic he lifts them all up and spins them around and creates a map on the table with holographic figures moving above it "I'm trying to understand something about my dream, when my Aunt Luna appeared in my dream she said that it's a vision of my future well something about my future and I'm looking through their past to find it"

The unicorn blinked in shock and talk to herself "Aunt Luna? Then that mean he's Celestia's...son", she covered her mouth realizing that he's immortal and that he has lived in the past.

As she continued to listen she could Twilight talking "Wait you're trying to unlock the past to see your future? Toren that has never been done not even your mother has done or Starswirl! What makes your think you can and why?", her question lead to Starlight trying to get closer without being seen so can hear more.

Toren kept looking forward until he stops it and goes to the Crystal Empire map "That's why. This place is where I'm from. It has my past and answers that I need to solve this puzzle and what my dream is trying to tell me. So I'm going to turn this into a timeline of my own life to a time where everything changed."

"But Toren you've been alive for over a thousand years. That can take weeks if not months to find to get all that information.. so for now let's focus on the present and get ready for the gala tomorrow night. Now come on Rarity is waiting for us", she closes the spell and walks away with Toren following leaving Starlight alone.

Intrigued to know Toren more and his plan she quickly enchants the door so nopony could enter as she unlocks the spell to see map through the Crystal empire and those that lived their before including herself when she was young. Within seconds she finds herself as a filly and sees a solider helping her up and kissing her hoof to make it better. Curious to know who the solider was she stops the figures and with magic she takes off the helmet and sees him for the first time after years of wondering about him and why she stopped recieving letters from him thinking he was dead when really he's been alive. Envy grew inside her heart as she looks at the soilder who broke her heart as a child and now was living in her very home as a guest. She wipes her eyes to dry off the tears of utter betrayal, but then another thought hit her about Toren and his plan to find out his dream and what it meant.

Looking at him closely she could see that his appearance is different and compares both the solider and Toren now "Interesting, both have the same face and structure and yet one is slightly larger in muscle unless...it's not...his wings are to large for me to see anything! Wait! There was a book about this...", she looks around and sees it in the pile and reads it and finds a page on two stallions, with one looking like Toren but much younger.

Her eyes widen "Toren is in this...it says that King Zaron banished his eldest son for disobeying his demands and his faithful knight went with him in high respect of the prince who was cursed with the Larocks. A spell that only high Rulers or sorcerers used for will of punishment or revenge, but once unleashed the spell creates a parasite that consums it's host until it slowly dies in pure agony."

Wanting to know more she continued to read but only to find that the other pages were ripped out "What? No! I need to know what the Larocks is and what it does so I can help Toren!", she pauses and looks away from the book blushing by her comment.

Her face shifted from shock to denial "No way I can't possibly help him he's nothing but an overgrown, stubborn, childish, dumb, and....the most kindest stallion I've ever met that I have grown to.....", she places her hoof on her mouth while her heart skipped a beat finally accepting her loathing that has turned into faithful secret desire.

Starlight smiles blushing "To love"

No doubt about it she has started to have feelings for him even though he left her he had a reason to because of his immortality. Toren didn't want to hurt her, instead he was trying to protect her from the world and the dangers. Slowly guilt entered her soul by how she has treated him with his trust and respect, not wanting to ruin anything else she locks the spell away and walks out for the room to go outside to get some fresh air. Lost in thoughts she goes to the pond and looks into her reflection smiling at it thinking of her and him together, because she has finally found her solider, her knight in shining armor, her prince.

After many hours of sewing Rarity has finally finished all the dresees and su it's for the gala tomorrow night. Received by her finest quality she begins to put them on her friends while Toren was with Spike getting more material beca use unfortunately for Rainbowdash she was having three most unpleasant experience. Ten months pregnant has been rough on her especially when it comes to outfits and in this case she has manged to rip two dresses in four hours. Rarity was determined to make a gown perfect for her friend and her baby so she would be stunning first the gala that way she'd feel more comfortable around slimmer ponies.

Rainbowdash sighs nervously "Ah Rarity do I have to go I mean the gala is great and all but the dress part not so much. Besides the baby is due any day now so maybe it's best if I not go, the last thing I need to to carry Soarin out of the party when he faints.."

Rarity smiles as she places a flower into her Rainbow mane "Oh shoosh Rainbow darling you're going now hold still I want this to be prefect! So please work with me", in defeat she agrees and holds still so her friend can finish the design and fitting.

Spike comes in with Toren with the fabric and sees the mare's in their dresses, Toren turns red when he sees Starlight and drops the fabric on Spike "S-Starlight you look amazing..beautiful.. I mean um.."

Pinkie goes infront of him "Oooh somepony is getting blushy!"

"No I'm not!", he says as he looks at Pinkie who was hopping around.

Pinkie goes next to Starlight "Oh come on it's so obvious that you love Star and she loves you dah! I mean just look at her she's blushing to!"

Embarrassed she looks at Toren then turns around and looks at the mirror "That's ridiculous! I hardly know him and besides he's not my type! So let's drop the subject please.", she could see Toren looking away hurt, her heart began to hurt like it was being torn in half.

Applejack looks at them individually and can see they liked eachother but we're being embarrassed by Pinkie to admit it and were not sure what to do except say the opposite to avoid her friends from a huge reaction. Knowing the feeling she puts herself in their position and how they'd feel if she told them that she was in love with Rarity. Not wanting to make things difficult for them she puts a cupcake into Pinkies mouth to make her focus on something else so the couple can be able to relax.

Curious to know the pregnant mare nudges Starlight "Yeah is this true come on Starlight spill!"

"Starlight you don't have to answer that.", Toren says calmly to help her.

Rainbowdash looks at him "It's okay Starlight you can tell us. So is it true?"

The unicorn looks at everyone and Toren and begins to panic and backs up against the wall "I-I don't know please just stop asking!",

Before anyone could speak she runs away crying leaving them all in shock as Toren looked at the door wanting to go after her but couldn't knowing the consequence of them finding out the truth about her true feelings about him. Saddened by her leaving he remained looking at the door as Rainbowdash and Aj began to fight with eachother pointing hooves at one another blaming who was responsible for Starlight running away.

Toren turns around to see them fight like two teenmares until Twilight goes between them calmly but held a harsh tone "Everypony quiet, look let's not focus on this, instead lets finish on getting ready for the gala tomorrow."

Each mare gave one giant glare before agreeing in complete unison as they walked away from one another to fix their hair and dresses. Rarity was determined to make everything prefect and puts her work on a rack to finish up later tonight so they can enjoy some time to have a quiet get-together. Curious to know what was going on Fluttershy went to Toren as he watches Spike ask Rarity to the gala.

The dragon sighs and taps her shoulder "Um excuse Rarity sorry to bother you but um.. well I was wondering if you would like to go to the galiya with me?"

"Oh Spike that's so kind of you to ask me I'd love to-"

"Great! I was hoping that you would-"

"But unfortunately somepony was already asked me. I'm sorry Spikey-wikey truly I am, I hope you understand", her eyes went up and down with a puckered lip.

Toren watched with narrowed eyes knowing she was lying to him by the look she gave, humiliated the dragon walks away and leaves the store sad. Disappointed in what just happened he walks to the unicorn leaving Fluttershy to wonder as she left with her friends to go to sugarcube corner, which left the two ponies to talk amongst themselves, alone.

As soon as the door closed Rarity sighs "Oh the poor thing now I feel awful for saying that."

"Rarity don't you that was alittle rude I mean he was simply just asking you."

"Well I already have somepony that's taking me at least I'm honest, at least I can say the truth."

Toren looks at her angry "And what's that suppost to mean?"

"Oh please darling it's quite clear that you don't like to admit your feelings, but I can help you when we go to the gala now let's finish your suit", she's uses magic to grab the fabric and needle.

The Alicorn stops her hoof and puts it down "Thanks but I think I am quite honestly certain about one thing...that I'm not cut out for dancing.", he looks away and opens the door.

"Toren wait don't go! Please stay", she looks deep into his eyes as she puts her hoof on his cheek but only you be rejected.

He glares at her "I'm sorry but I can't infact I don't think I'll be going at all."

He leaves her alone with tears in her eyes guilty about Spike and what she has done to slowly in realization that she has betrayed her close friend for who has shown nothing but kindness to her becuase she was blinded by her pride of getting noticed. Sadly she continued her work determined to finish her task nomatter what emotions she had inside her that was escaping her eyes in tears of complete agony.

Soon the gala arrived filled with ponies in their finest attire ready to meet their needs, desires, and above all entertainment of the music. Twilight was with Starlight as they talked to other ponies that were introduced by the Princesses, however Starlight was not in the mindset to talk to strangers and had her mind focused on something else, Toren. Slowly and carefully she escaped the crowd and ran outside to get some fresh air and away from public, Starlight never really enjoyed being around ponies who were just trying to be nosy to gain more information needed how to humiliate others for satification.

Alone in the night she began to walk towards the castle doors until she heard a noise from a bush, intrigued by it she slowly walked towards the sound and used magic to move it but only to find a small bunny "Oh you're just a scared little bunny, are you lost?"

The bunny nods sad and points to the gate "Oh I see you want to go back home. Here let me help you.",

Gently she placed her hoof down so the bunny could climb on it and carefully the mare placed the bunny near her chest like a baby as she walked with three hooves across the garden. Toren looks over from the sky in his black military suit and could see Starlight alone heading towards the garden with something in her hoof. Intrigued to know what was going on he dives down and watches her from behind a tree as she takes the bunny to its family near a small pond that held a statue in the center. He smiles as the bunnies jump around Starlight was a breathtaking moment to capture as she giggled and snuggled against the baby bunny she saved with her muzzle.

He sighs in gratitude that she does have a good heart that he couldn't help but walk over to her gently to not startle her of course but to make amends for yesterday it was the least he could do after what happened, seeing how she was out on the spotlight like that where her so called friends tried to make her admit something he wants to know from her only. Carefully he stops far enough to not terrify the bunnies with his large body until the baby bunny that Starlight saved jumps towards him to get a closer look at the prince.

Toren looks down at it for a mere moment before it was grabbed by Starlight shocked "Toren you came? I thought you weren't coming?"

He smirks "Let's just say there were some change of plans, and.. I wanted to apologize."

Starlight looks at him surprised "Apologize? For what you didn't do anything wrong", she says as she puts the bunny down to its family.

Toren nervously rubs his neck "Yes I did..when you're friends made you cry and run off I wanted to go after you but instead I stayed behind...and that was foolish on my part and selfish. I'm sorry I truly am and I respect you alot. And I know that we aren't exactly close or friends but-"

With magic she teleports to him on her hind hoofs so she can stop him from talking with her hoof that was placed on his mouth "I didn't say weren't friends. And thank you for coming to me and telling me you're sorry. Toren..I'm sorry that I've been rude to you It's just when I like somepony I get mean"

Both blushing lightly he takes her hoof from his face and smiles while still holding her hoof "I knew you liked me, and I like it when you get mean, it's very attractive", he winks at her with a soft expression showing her that he was finally able to be with her in confidence.

The couple looked deep into eachothers eyes and leaned forward to eachother slowly closing their eyes to kiss but we're soon cut off by the small laughs that came from the bunny family. Ammused by their laughter they laughed to as Toren pulled her close with his tail as he gently lifted her chin with his claw-hoof and without hesitation kisses her on the lips lightly. The mare wraps her hooves around his neck and kisses him back taken over by his bold move and finally accepting her feelings to him as they kissed a couple more times until the sound of music is heard from the gala.

Toren smiles as he extends his claw-hoof out to her "May I have this dance miss?"

"Of course you can"

She puts her hoof on his claw-hoof and together they danced in the sky in the moonlight that shined through the stars as they spun around together gracefully. With magic he creates flying violins with wings and gave Starlight a pair of her own wings that were made by a bright blue light, she looks at them surprised that they moved like a real pair of wings.

Toren smiles as she tries to fly but fails so he pulls her close to his side both enchanted by thier company as they continued to dance smiling widely in the midnight sky with just them in the moment together as it should of been from the start. At that moment they have finally found their happiness and peace.

In the castle Rainbowdash was talking to Fluttershy so they could catch up with Soarin closely by his wife incase anything were to happen. As for Rarity she was with some of her friends from Canterlot that was rearranged by her old suitor Fancy pants, Spike however was not pleased to see Rarity with Fancy pants knowing that he was a player and to good for Rarity, so to keep himself distracted he drank some punch. Applebloom looks over and sees the dragon all by himself and goes to him seeing how her fiends had colts of their own to dance with she wanted to be nice and dance with him that way they can both enjoy the gala.

With bravery she walks to him "Hey Spike wanna dance?"

"Um no thanks I'm good Bloom but thank you for the offer but you probably have colts all over you to dance with", he looks away and drinks his punch leaving Applebloom mad.

"Come on Spike if I had colts all over meh I would run away! Besides you're my friend and I wanna dance with ya so come on!",

Without warning she grabs his claw and takes him to the dance floor and puts her hoof on his shoulder and grabs his claw with the other one to place his claw on her waste so she can properly dance with him. Blushing like an apple she begins to dance with him slowly back and forth together in harmony and for once Spike was actually enjoying himself tonight and looks into her eyes and sees her blushing as she smiles towards him. Not wanting to ruin things he spins her around and pulls her out and back in gracefully allowing everypony to stare at them in disbelief or in complete shock seeing them together laughing.

Applejack looks at them with a smirk desperately holding in a laugh but that moment was cut off when her older brother begins to walk towards them mad. Unfortunately for Applejack she was going to the one to put her hoof down tonight by walking right infront of him ready to take a fight.

With two hooves she holds him "Oh no ya don't big brother not tonight! Not while she's happy now come on let's go to the others", without a word he sighs in defeat and joins the group with Applejack while still keeping a close eye on Spike.

Celestia looks out the window not knowing what to expect until she sees her son dancing with Starlight in the air near the garden, her heart melts by the sight of them together in love as they spun around laughing. Distracted by her son she remains in her position of the moment just to see him smile, she smiles softly knowing that they will be just fine. Once everyone has reached inside the castle Luna went to her sister who was silent and looking the other way so she goes to her curious to know what was going on.

Luna looks with her sister "Tia what are you looking at? Is somepony trying to break in?"

"Seeing for yourself, look"

Luna goes near the window head out to get a better view and see her nephew dancing in the air with Twilight's student each looking deep into eachothers eyes and leaned forward to kiss. Shocked by the move she backs her head inside and looks at her sisters who was chuckling to herself while Luna compares them to Tia and smiles evilly.

"You know sister they do make a cute couple and they remind us of what happened to somepony years ago", she says nudging Celestia on the side.

Celestia turns her head to Luna blushing "Oh sister please that was a long time ago..back then Discord was not able to enter the kingdom so he took me to garden and we danced in-", she covers her mouth realizing that her sister was right and was snooping on them.

Luna looks away blushing trying to hide her secret "Yes go on you did it what sister?"

"You know exactly what we did because you watched us danced and kissed and....what else did you see exactly?"

"That was all because mother took me away so I wouldn't catch a cold and then introduced us to suitors that I never really liked", she sighs softly and places her hoof on her chest.

Celestia wrap her wing around her "It's alright sister one day you'll find your prince"

"Or princess"

"L-Luna? Are you saying that you like mare's to?"

Luna looks at her "No but times are changing sister so maybe in the next hundred if I am not to be wed I might go down the path", before they spoke another word Luna left instantly to join in on the fun and excitement.

Celestia watched as she danced with Pinkiepie and her two daughters and wondered if she was telling the truth or just being a tease, either way as long as her sister was happy that's all that mattered unless she married somepony she didn't want to be around. Surrounded by the crowd Twilight was looking all over for her student who was disappeared from her sight, she looks over and finds Celestia looking out the window smiling. Intrigued by her stance she walked over to the Princess and looked with her, and tried to come up with a conversation without disturbing her.

Twilight looks at her "Hello princess what are looking for?", her question caused the mare to chuckle softly.

Celestia lifts Twilight chin and leads her to the window and points "See for yourself and warning when you see them might be quite surprisely shocking"

"Them? Who would be out their when the gala is inside that makes no....sense", her eyes widen by the sight of her student against Toren's chest as they spun around the sky with flying violins. Unsure what to think she kept staring at them in disbelief or in this case complete shock seeing them together laughing and hugging each other and blushing like two lovestruck foals.

Celestia watched her trying not to laugh as her old student was in a slight coma of shock "I told you it was going to be a shock seeing your student with my son. I'm glad Toren has adapted well and I'm also very pleased to see he has made a new friend, although it seems Starlight finds him more then a friend wouldn't you agree?'

Twilight mumbles "Yeah I agree so much I'm going to get a closer look and see what happens to his nose"

"Leave him be, and if you do bring Starlight back just tell her that I would like to speak to her that way you don't look crazy"

The purple mare glares at her lifting an eyebrow "How can be so calm about this? They barely known each other and already they are all over eachother doing who knows what?!"

"They're dancing Twilight now be a good princess and go get her gently for me, go on.", she watched as Twilight walls away talking to herself irritated by their unique relationship they are forming which made her giggle knowing that this will be a challenge for Twilight.

After the magic vanished the couple slowly went down to the ground to land near the pond to bond with a conversation this time. Starlight looked at her back but only to see her wings had disappeared while smirking at Toren who was chuckling towards her as he laid on the grass to relax after the dancing.

Worried about him she sat by his side "Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine just wanted to relax a little bit and get comfortable so we can talk and get to know each other more, don't get me wrong I enjoyed every moment, every kiss, but I'd like to get to know you to"

She giggles and tilts her head "Oh and I was hoping for a kiss", she looked at him as he placed his claw-hoof on her cheek.

"I can help you with that", softly he kissed her again then stopped and looked down knowing that his body was hurting himself so he sits up to ease the pain.

Starlight watched his reaction and quickly tried to look as his belly but his wing moved in the way blocking the view from her theory. Once he was closed off he looked at her who was looking at him closely with a sharp eye until she quickly looked away scarlet red hoping that he didn't think she was snooping. Curious by her reaction he slides over to her, she looked up at him worried as he placed his claw-hoof next to her hoof.

Gently he spoke to her "Is everything alright? You seem troubled by something?"

"What who me? No I'm fine just tired from the dancing sorry if I stared at you it's just you're not who I was expecting. You're kind, gentle, wise, and you somehow managed to get in my head", she giggles that was soon joined by his own laugh.

Once it got quiet they looked at each other awkwardly wondering who was gonna ask the first question so eventually Starlight swallowed her fear and took a small breath to ease her anxiety and turned to him who was looking into the water trying to distract himself.

With magic she splashes him with water "Whoops sorry sir my magic just has a mind of its own sometimes need to get that fixed", she says as she taps her horn.

Caught off guard he spits out the water at her face "Whoops sorry malady sometimes my heart speaks from my mouth with water", he winks at her with an evil smile to bug her even more until she uses her magic to pull his ear.

Starlight smiles "At least I know that I can hold a conversation without whining and looking at the water"

"Well I was waiting for you to say something trying to be a gentlecolt and let the lady go first"

Her eyes light up and had an idea "Oh really then answer this question for me gentlecolt why are you so quiet?"

"Because I like to make things difficult for you", he says teasing.

She blushes annoyed "Okay then why do you always hide your stomach with your wings?", she scoffs towards him as she points at his large wings wanting him to confess so she can test her theory.

He looks at her nervous about revealing it understanding what she was trying to do "I don't know you're talking about, but if you must know I have very big wings for my age and they tend to cover it"

"Then uncover it"

"What? No!"

She gets closer "Why are you hiding something? If you're so certain things are really fine then do it"

He slides over away from her backing up and tries to change the subject "Why don't I ask you a question now"

"Not until you answer mine now show me if you're not hiding something"

"Starlight please don't"

Before he could move she goes right infront of him ready to get her answer and puts her hoof on his belly that was full of muscle yet felt soft. Blushing in shock they looked at each other concerned about the possibility of a new change in their relationship with the Larocks, at last she got what she was looking for, however before either one of them could speak a branch snapped in the distance.

Starlight looked back with a gasp not wanting to have anypony seeing them together, especially Twilight who would lose her mane if she found out that she liked Toren and would never hear the end of it, let alone be able to admit to her friends about the baby that she has just found out about a few moments ago.

Panicking she hides behind Toren’s back whispering "Whatever you do don't move!"

Toren scoffs and whispers back "Oh now you don't want to move!"

With a nasty glare she stomps on his tail "Oh be quiet and act natural!"

"Ow! I was until you-Oh nevermind!", he looks away irritated as Starlight remained hidden her back against his while still trying to see who was coming with one eye.

As for Toren he was not amused but plays along for her sake even though she now knows his secret that he discovered a few weeks ago by his dream discussions with his Aunt Luna, then found the result by the same book she found with the missing pages he ripped out. Exhausted by the pain in his stomach he makes small growl as the dark figure that was coming towards him was Twilight all along with leaves on her hair up in the air.

Toren looks at Starlight and whispers "It's your teacher how nice", he states to her annoyed.

"Great...perfect", at this point Starlight just wanted to go home.

Looking up he moved his left arm to his back grabbing her hoof "Don't worry I'll protect you both"

Starlight smiles softly whispering as she leaned against his back "Toren you're so sweet..but really stupid"

"Stupid? Really? And I hoping you'd say that I'm handsomely charming"

"Shut up Toren unless you want to me to turn you into a frog again, and then take the you-know-what"

Toren smirks "Oh I see, so it's not me you want but my tiny descendant?"

"Maybe", she says blushing lightly

"Well at least I know you're committed if we start dating", he says grinning toward the idea that sounded wonderful to the hybrid.

Unable to speak the unicorn blushed scarlet red as he gripped her hoof tighter to comfort her as Toren looks back at Twilight who was landing all covered in leaves.

"Oh hello Twilight is everything alright? You're covered in leaves.", he says slightly intrigued to her.

"Yes well I crashed into a tree along the way because a bird flew right infront of me as I was flying, long story short I was just looking for Starlight."

"Oh you were how come?"

"Your mother wants to talk to her about something so she sent me to find her, have you seen her?"

Toren looks at her and smiles "Nope haven't seen her maybe she's with Discord to be used as a target"

Annoyed Starlight glares at him in silence and stomps on his tail again.

He reacts to it with a small grunt and moves his tail "So he can...have some fun at the gala.", he smiles while trying to not think of his now bruised tail.

Confused and slightly intrigued she looks over Toren with her head but then looks down and sees a small inch of Starlight tail "Really? Nice try but I know she's here because I can see her tail from behind you"

Toren looks up with a defeated sigh as Starlight covers her eyes embarrassed, as for Twilight she uses her magic to pull Starlight away from behind Toren to place her right next to his side so she can take in the moment of her victory. With caution the purple Alicorn looked at her nervous student who was giving the prince a nasty glare wishing she can hit him in the face for blowing her cover.

Impressed by their game the mare sits down with a smile "So which one of you is going to tell me the truth? And if you're both wondering no I'm not going to tell anypony as long as you tell me truth."

Toren looks at her with caution as he confesses "Alright okay, me and Starlight were dancing together and....we kissed, and kissed, and Starlight if you stomp on tail again I'm going to kiss you right infront of her", she puts down her hoof as he moves his tail on the other side away from her.

Twilight let's out a small chuckle "Well Starlight I'm surprised I thought you said Toren wasn't your type?"

"Well I lied, I was afraid if you guys found out that we liked eachother you'd make a scene and overreact, so I ran away because I panicked.."

Softly Toren looks at her and puts his claw-hoof on hers to give her some sense of comfort and with surprise she goes closer to him as her other hoof wrapped around his strong arm.

Twilight looks at the couple and sighs "Well needless to say I'm proud of you Starlight, and I hate to be the one too pull you apart but Princess Celestia would like to talk to you."

He smiles at her whispering "Go on we'll be fine", she looks at him surprised but understands as she gets up to kiss his cheek to say goodbye before walking towards Twilight to go inside the castle.

Toren watched as they walked away to see Starlight look back at him one last time before they vanished into the vanished into the dark shadows of the night. Soon after they disappeared he got up and opened his wings to stretch them out so he could fly to the castle doors to enjoy the rest of the night before it was over.

Enjoying the party the music went from slow to fast and colorful that changed the entire scenery that Pinkie's daughter Candy desired to join in on the fun and excitement. Tired by the noise her sister Gumdrop stopped her by standing in front of her as her mother talked to her friends that was soon interrupted by a cloud of smoke that revealed Discord in a bright blue suit and too hat ready to devour the night with chaos.

The draconequus puts his arms around Rainbowdash and Fluttershy "Well if isn't my two favorite girls! Ready for some fun?"

Pinkie jumps up excited "Discord!", she looks around "Wait where's smoosy?"

Discord looks at her while tapping her head "Oh smoosy had a slight cold and couldn't make it, sorry"

The earth pony's mane deflates slightly "Oh bummer well maybe next time", out if nowhere her knees shake and ears flop "Oh no where did they go?! Not again! Sorry guys I got to look for the twins bye Discord!"

They watched as the mare goes to find the twins, Discord strokes his goatee "Well wasn't that strange and slightly entertaining"

Rainbowdash rolls her eyes "Oh brother..."

"Oh come Rainbow I heard dancing is good for babies it makes them hopping mad", he laughs at his own joke that was soon joined by her friends even her own husband.

Fluttershy giggles "Oh Discord it's always good to see you but the doctor said she has to take it easy.", she says as she puts her hoof on his shoulder assuring him to be nice with her stare.

With a sigh he agrees "Okay I'll be nice but only becuase you asked me to", he sees Toren with Starlight talking "Wait, who's that?!"

Rainbowdash looks over "Oh that's Toren a friend of ours about a month ago he helped us from a monster so he's been staying with Twilight."

In the distance they could hear Pinkie calling out to her girls trying to find them, Fluttershy sighs "Poor pinkie it's been so hard since Cheese Sandwich left her.", the pegasus covers her mouth realizing she said it infront of Rainbowdash and regretted it.

In anger she snorts "Yeah and if I ever see that party pony again I'll make him wish he was never born", she grunts as the baby kicked her hard so she takes some deep breathes heavily as instructed in her classes.

Nervous Soarin wraps his wing around his wife "Now honey remember stress and anger isn't good for the baby"

She growls at him "Soarin!"

"Sorry honey it's just I'm worried about you and I don't want you to get hurt."

"I know I know I'm sorry it just bugs me when my friends get hurt", she says as she lifts his chin up and snuggled against him tired.

Not really sure how to react Discord looks away "As much as I love to talk about married life I need to see this Toren fellow", he flies up to get around to crowd to get a better view of this new Alicorn and his soon to be marefriend.

As Fluttershy watches the ponies dance she could see Pinkie with her daughters and mumbles to herself "If I was Cheese Sandwhich I'd make sure she'd never get hurt by anypony..", the mare walks away and leaves the room to go outside alone like she always does at the gala to be away from the couples.

Starlight watched as Toren was talking to some old guard friends of his laughing with them by their stories, lost in her thoughts she kept staring at his belly that moved when he laughed that was barely hidden by his wings but still visible with her eyes. She looked up and listened to their conversation with Toren close to her side as if they were a couple already eventhough it has not yet been officially announced.

Bulletwing laughs "Wow Toren I never thought I'd ever see ya again after our last rollcall in Ponymania! And you haven't aged a bit and I can see you managed to finally get a marefriend. And to think that you'd never settle down because you always loved to go on adventures"

"Well had to eventually and besides now that I'm going to be officially a prince I gotta make preparations"

"Well look at you all humble and once upon a time you used to be a mare player who finds pretty mares to have a one night stand"

"Now dear you know that Toren is a good colt and always respected those around him, even your own mother, and saved your life in war!", she says in a decent harsh tone to assure her rude husband.

He smiles "I know dear I'm just playing around to embarrass him after all we did this all of the time when we hung out together in the bar to have some drinks on Fridays"

Surprised to hear Toren's past the unicorn watched as the Alicorn grew nervous about the conversation and tries to change the subject by talking about wars.

Toren smiles clearing his throat "So Bulletwing I heard that your daughter just got married to one of my trainees at the Crystal Empire?"

"Oh yes I forgot that you were his captain before you stepped down your position a few months ago due to an injury is that right?"

"Yes, as I was training some new recruits for Prince Shining Armor then I was struck by a sword near my wing and couldn't fly so I stepped down to find a different path here. And now turns out I was Celestia's long lost son to one day take her place as the next heir"

"Oh right of course that makes sense and I'm surprised you never knew sooner seeing that you share similar qualities to her appearance, but who am I to pinpoint for you were left on the streets as a child"

Starlight glares "Well I'm sure she had a reason and was only doing it for his best lifestyle and hospitality"

"Well Miss I'm not saying it wasn't-"

"Wasn't what? Something that the Princess would do to her son and maybe instead of listening to stupid snob ponies you would know the real story and his past!", insulted she began to move forward causing the stallion to back up sweating.

He chuckles nervous "Now Miss hear me out before you get the wrong impression of me. Allow me to explain it was your coltfriend here was the one who told me this during our last meeting last week"

Her eyes widened remembering their drinking events and turned her head mad at Toren angry.

Carefully the older mare went to the unicorn with a soft expression "Now dear do not fret for they were only writing letters because we live in Ponymania which is across the ocean darling"

"Oh..I'm sorry i didn't mean to sound rude or paranoid it's just-"

"It's alright and quite frankly was enjoyable to watch you defend Toren as if you were to protect him from harm, it was very sweet of you and was rather adorable to see"

Toren smiles as he wrapped his wing around Starlight "I second that, and a good trait to have if I were to get into trouble"

"Indeed Toren indeed, and it's good to know that your marefriend cares for you that much to go against my arrogant husband, and I hope that we receive a wedding invite when you finally ask in marriage. If you manage to ask her", she says hinting toward him.

Nodding the stallion blushed "I'll be sure to give you the first invitation GoldenHeart"

As they walked away Starlight could feel Toren's tail coil around her back leg as his wing remained around her body like a tiny tent. Smirking he moved his head forward that their noses touched barely enough to cause some tension and intimacy between them, slowly she moved her face away from him in seconds allowing Toren to glance at her trying to read her thoughts that gave him an advantage to give her a hard time, or to give her a satisfying tiny kiss.

Toren grins "And to think you hated being around me Starlight"

"Oh shut up!", she says whispering irritated with the pregnant Alicorn.

Without warning he kissed her nose flirting while letting out a soft chuckle as he used his tail to rub against her leg to tease the mare as his wing hid Starlight from other ponies as he quickly welcomes other visitors with quick responses. During the quick timed conversations he felt the baby moving strongly trying to gain some attention, getting an idea Toren turned his head toward the mare.

He blushes smiling softly "Seems I'm not the only that likes you Star"

"What? Who else likes me? It is one of the guards..Oh I knew I shouldn't have tried holding a conversation with a stranger at this dumb party!"

"I wasn't referring to a stallion I was trying to be charming by hinting to the you-know-what, you now know", he says as he winked at her lightly.

"Oh right..."

Blushing she looks at him who was looking deep into her eyes assuring the mare that everything was alright, in that moment the couple began to form a unique relationship that has bloomed into a different outlook as they remained quiet in their stare. Without warning something moved against her cheek thinking it was just his wing until she realized that happened on the other side where his suit was that pressed against the left side of her body as perfectly planned.

Curious to understand she looked over to the stallions side seeing his body up close and personal that grew almost uncomfortable by this new change she only discovered a few hours ago. In silence respecting his nervous soon to be marefriend Toren watched with his eyes from the right while talking to visitors who didn't notice the mare at all who was hiding under his wing. Nervous she slowly placed her hoof on his suit hard enough to feel his body heat, his muscles that tightened when he inhaled but slowly loosened when he would exhale.

Toren smiles whispering "Don't worry it won't bite you at least not for awhile until after it's born Star"

"Oh be quiet and look away before somepony finds out about us or-"

"Or what? You'll turn me into a frog?", he says playfully teasing.

She glares at him quickly in silence that he obeyed looking away from her until Toren flinched when it kicked causing the unicorn to look back smiling softly almost crying while desperately holding back her excitement when the baby kept moving forward touching her hoof as if it was trying to say hello. Smirking in victory knowing that he had a chance to be with the mare of his dreams he kissed her cheek lovingly showing Starlight his feelings about her and his baby that he desired to share with her.

Toren chuckles "Told you I wasn't the only one who likes to be around you, to bad we aren't dating or even together. Because if I remember correctly you hate me remember?"

Guilty of her behavior yesterday, and for the past two months he's been here she sighs softly before looking at him closely to see any sign of interest of becoming his marefriend, let alone date him. Knowing that she'd regret rejecting the stallion Starlight moved forward almost timid until at last without thinking she gave him a small kiss on the lips, then lightly placed her hoof against his warm cheek that was on his belly.

Enjoying the flavor of her mouth the pregnant hybrid prince swirled his tongue between hers lightly feeling their saliva mixing together into a whole new taste that blended into where they chuckled in unison quietly to not disturb the party.
Quickly Starlight stops herself looking down nervous about revealing their secret that she backed up away from him completely almost afraid.

"Starlight what's wrong?", he says slightly concerned and confused.

Shaking she looks around worried "I can't I'm sorry but you are better without me, and I'm not sure what to do or what to even think...look I want this to work but I'm afraid because I'm not good enough for you or if we could have a future"

Almost in tears Starlight looks away ashamed of herself for hurting him this way because she wasn't sure if her feelings are even real or just a moment in the garden they had. Overwhelmed the mare began to slowly cry knowing that she really admire the prince who has managed to win her heart after weeks of loathing his charming tactics to make the mare smile, laugh, or to just gain satisfaction to succeed in any way to get her to like him. Tonight had made it clear that she had fallen in love with Toren, the prince who was cursed with the Larocks to carry an infant that was slowly dying, along with him as the result that has captured her to love him even more knowing that he had a good, caring, loving heart.

No longer able to hide his feelings about her Toren growls softly using his magic to create a sphere that made them invisible to where nopony could see them fight their hearts desire to be together but feared the risks of rejection, judgment, or one another by what lies ahead in their unknown future with themselves, and the Larocks that was hurting both him, her, and the baby.

Starlight looks around "Toren please you can't be with me I'm-"

As she ranted the stallion walked toward her with a small expression using his eyes as a guide to reach what he wanted not just for himself but for his baby that he knew she loved just by watching her reaction. Unable to hold back anymore Toren placed his claw-hoof across her cheek while leaning forward with a long tender kiss that deepened to where tears streamed down his cheeks. Not wanting to ruin anything else she looked down with her ears tucked back heartbroken before he lifts up her chin with his claw-hoof gently until at last their eyes locked together both in tears staring in silence unable to speak a single phrase.

Toren looks at her with sincerity "The only thing that I want is you, I don't care what you think about yourself because in my mind and in my heart I see a mare that I love. A mare who is beautiful, brave, selfless, caring, protective, adorable, who loves this baby. And I know that you're scared but what we have is something to fight for, to one day show the world together, you, me, and one day it will be the three of us together."

"Toren...please I can't I'm not-"

"No. You can, and you wanna know why?", he says in a soft low voice

Filled with tears she finally looks at him surprised to see him also crying but held a small amount of anger behind his eyes as he sat down before softly grabbing Starlight's face with both claw-hooves determined to convince her to be with him as a couple in a way that would be make things easier for both of them to be together with the baby as a leverage to become closer in their relationship, their friendship, and now their hearts.

Gently he spoke to her with a soft expression showing her that he was serious "Because we both care for something that we haven't seen, something that has turned my future upside down that has allowed me to see differently to where I am without a doubt certain that I have not only fell in love with you but this child that was made by darkness that has become my greatest light that shines bright into my heart that desires this mare who loaths me to the core that has slowly touched my heart"

Unable to fight away her emotions Starlight at this point just looks down sitting against the floor placing her hoof on his claw-hoof as he wiped away her tears gently. Trying to calm herself the unicorn gazed up for a moment to focus on something else so she could stop crying before wiping her eyes to dry off the last remaining tears smiling softly to herself giggling very faintly the he couldn't hear it.

Starlight looked at him "Look I'm sorry for making you think I hated you because for so long I've locked away my feelings so I wouldn't get hurt anymore by betrayal, rejection, or to left all alone again. That's why I was so mean to you and treated you so badly because I didn't really know what to really do because for weeks you kept going and nopony ever did that to me... So I just stayed in character hoping that you'd eventually give up while convincing myself that I hated you. But turns out it wasn't until yesterday when I realized that I had feelings for you and that I grew to-"

"Grew to what?", he says while leaning forward smirking at her

In that moment the unicorn was stuck on whether she should just kiss him or finish the sentence, however when Starlight looked into his eyes she felt safe, protected, and that nothing harmful would touch her, and that nothing else mattered but him, only him as her strength, motivation, and security.

She leaned forward smirking back at him "Well what do you think?"

"I think personally that you should kiss me and say three words I'm thinking that you're also thinking"

"Then say it unless you're afraid?"

Toren let's out a small sound looking up shaking his head before sighing in defeat as he leaned forward before stopping halfway smiling with narrowed eyes confident "Me afraid? Never, because I know what I want and when I want something I fight for it, so much that it drives me insane"

"Oh really?", she says moving her body closer to his touching his stomach showing confidence.

Toren goes even closer "Really"

Carefully without trying to laugh she smacks her lip "Then kiss me"

"Gladly", he says whispering to her until his lips met hers soon after.

Feeling his soft lips allowed Starlight to no longer hold any sign of fear but instead it was love, a love that blossomed from a seed of hatred to a bud of annoyance into a flower of pure intimacy toward the stallion that she once lost has found her, saved her, and loved her as much as she now loved him. Captured in the moment she wrapped her arms around his neck firmly as he rubbed against her nose flirting with small kisses rapidly growing deeper each time, softly he kissed her again then stopped clearly his throat softly.

Curious to know what was going on she placed her hoof on his cheek "What's wrong?"

"Nothing infact I'm more than okay, however I think it's best for now we keep this between us just until we figure things out. It can like a secret mission to find out more about ourselves to see if we can work out while solving a small puzzle together in our mission"

She rubs her chin smirking "Hmmm sounds like to me that the son of Princess Celestia is asking the pupil of Princess Twilight on a date? Or as a secret marefriend?"

"What do you think?", he says as he gave her a narrowed eyed smile.

Blushing lightly she leans against his nose looking deep into his eyes seeing him from the inside that loved her for who she was who in return started to have feelings for him even though he to was afraid of what lies ahead for the couple who were starting to admit how they felt toward one another, accepting their faults and their past trying to find a way to make things work for them all to be together.

Gently she looked down kissing his belly softly before looking at him closely seeing him nervous that soon turned until a soft smile understanding her sweet answer to his question as she leaned forward giving him a small peck "You pick"

"Well then Miss Glimmer will you secretly date me?", he says smiling

"Yes, on two conditions your highness"

"And what's that?"

Softly she kisses him "That we will be always try to find a solution to not get caught by anypony until we are ready to make it to where both of us are inseparable that way we are not even embarrassed"

"Done", he says giving her a kiss

Starlight kisses his lips again "And that I get to be by your side until it's born so that way I can be with you and that I get to name it any name that I wish nomatter what"

As she kissed him once more he had an idea that just might work in his favor of he played it carefully to trick the mare to change her request into something so much more than just naming the baby.

"Well then for that to happen you need to marry me in honor to name my child so I'm afraid that condition has to be denied sadly", he says holding a small expression with a hint of a passionate desire.

Starlight looks away in defeat before smiling to the side without him seeing until she turns around kissing his lips then his nose "Well then how about this if we do this then you'll have to answer this simple question your highness"

"And what's that malady?"

"Why did you choose me?"

Hearing her question caught him off guard and yet gave him a strong impression to answer it knowing that she desired to know the truth, Toren kisses her "Because you are the only one who holds my heart and the only one who hated me"

Smirking he kissed her again "Despised me"

Softly kissed one more time as he spoke to her "And above all the one who stepped on my tail and found out my tiny, little baby"

Chuckling the mare kissed him "Good to know that all it took was for me to be myself who can actually be herself around you"

"And I'm glad you did", he says whispering to her as he kisses her

"Me to my handsomely hybrid prince who is expecting a baby"

"And I wouldn't want it any other way Miss Glimmer", he says as he gave her a small smile kissing her once more to complete their deal.

Hours passed and the couple were together pretending to be how they were with him trying to impress her as she ignores him softly instead so she wouldn't hurt Toren knowing that he pregnant. Carefully Celestia watched as her son as he had small conversations as Starlight talked with her friends while having moments secretly when nopony was watching them. Seeing them together trying to be all secretive was amusing to the old Alicorn before she saw Discord right next to her who was looking into her eyes smiling widely just to cause annoyance, and it worked.

Celestia scoffs "Hello Discord"

"Hello there Sunbutt thank you for inviting me after last time with old smoozy, I'm honored that I have you as a good understanding friend who forgives me always"

"Discord there's something you need to know you see we were-"

"Oh say no more Tia I'm just glad the past is in the past now if you excuse me I going to meet this Toren fellow with Glimmy-Pants"

"Discord wait before you go there's something I need to tell you about"

Discord stops her with one claw against her mouth "Shhhhhh no need to say anything I know"

"You do?!"

"Of course you want to host the entertainment, and I'm already ahead of you my dear! But first I have to create some fun chaos bye!", he says poofing away fast.

Celestia looked around "Oh no.."

With a poof Discord appeared and with magic pushed the stallions across the floor into two mares "Why hello Starlight Glimmer-pants who's your friend?", he says as he puts one of his black claws on her nose.

Toren growled and uses his tail to pull Starlight close to him "Well if it isn't Discord the Lord of Chaos."

"Oh you know my name? Well it's time I get some attention around here! So the girls have told you about me, and I admire your impression of me but I was once the Lord of Chaos but I have changed for the better. I am now reformed"

"Really? You still look the same to me, a monster"

Discord looks at him surprised "Monster me? You're the one to talk son, I mean look at your appearance you have a dragon tale, claw like hooves, and fangs", he says as he touches Toren's fangs "Hmm a little dull"

Worried about them together Celestia tries to walk over to them before getting mobbed by snob ponies trying to talk to her about politics and new change of scenery. Helpless she watched as both from afar with Toren who watched him with a glare as the draconequus observes him by circling around and feeling his wings by stretching one out to see its length, Starlight gets nervous as she uses magic to knock Discord over so Toren could have his wing back and goes by his side hoping nopony saw. Softly Torem looks at her and smiles in amusement as she helps him deal with Discord as he stands back up and flies infront of the couple to look at them, but mostly at Toren.

He strokes his goatee "Your appearance it almost looks like Celestia's but your tail and eyes look like mine", he bursts out into a histarical laugh "It's almost as if Tia had a child and kept it from me so I wouldn't find out!", he hovers in the air laughing so much he was crying in a pool of tears, literally.

Toren watched as his mother walked to him and stood between his son and Discord "That's because I did Discord."

Discord stopped and looked at her "Wait are you saying that's he's mine?! But we never were even that close to even make-"

Before he spoke another word she quickly kisses him and lets go to back away to see if the spell worked. Discord shakes his head and begins to remember his old memories of them in the garden, and being together during the time Luna was banished. Overwhelmed by the spell he leaned against the dessert table breathing heavily until a certain memory entered into his mind. Remembering every detail his face grew dark while stiffening his back in utter betrayal as he looked at Celestia who deceived him for what she has done with glowing eyes filled with complete rage.

Toren backed up and held Starlight close with his wing in protection. Unsure what to do he stared helpless as his father looked at him then back at his poor mother in silence until finally she looks down defeated.
