After the Winery

In a dark room filled with scattered televisions, a lone man in the room has a large, brown mustache and slightly receding hair.  After seeing a girl head down a staircase, he turns around to face a working camera.

“Nice work player.  SCAT is looking forward to giving you your next assignment with what you’ve shown us.  I have sent rest of the officers blocks within the vicinity of the Martin family home for further investigation.  Kelly should be back here very soon from what I saw.”

Suddenly, a team of officers fills the room.

“Commander Simms, we have discovered something five blocks west of Lakeshore Winery.  We have no idea what it actually is, but it appears to attract a number of our instruments.”

“Noted, Officer Nick.  Well... SCAT mission 231.  From the looks of it, the girls were hiding beside the lake to wait for a clear coast, and have successfully driven off with Kelly in their vehicle.”

Simms turns his head as Nick takes out his walkie talkie in response to static, followed by a female voice.

Officer Nick, this is Kelly.  Mission complete.

“Copy that.  Come back here alone so that we can tell you your next mission.”

Okay.  I’m on my way now.

Simms faces back to the camera.

“Okay.  Here’s the plan.  Kelly will be here, so in the meantime, Nick will give you some more details on this mission, so listen in.”

“Thanks, Commander Simms.  We tested what this phenomenon does, and it appears to attract our guns, communication devices, and remotes.  However, we took advantage of this, and have found a way to override a system of cameras in one particular area past this strange phenomenon.  We are not sure what this area actually is, but you are in control of whatever traps are nearby from the cameras we have sent.  Good luck out there, player.”

Then, Kelly enters the room.

“Hello Kelly.  We’ll be sending you on a mission to investigate a strange phenomenon five blocks west of the Lakeshore Winery.”

“Okay.  Control and I have got you covered.  But what about the girls and Danny?”

“They’ll have to get home first.  We don’t want more potential for them to go missing.”

Kelly nods.

“I understand, Commander Simms.  C’mon, Control.  We’re going in.”

And with that, Kelly exits the way she came in.
