After the Winery

After some chatter from the teens, Kelly returns to the minivan and reenters the car.

“Hey Megan, do you mind dropping me off five blocks west of Lakeshore Winery?  Control and I have some investigation to do.”

“Sure.  Just let me drop off the rest first.”

After driving west to aim for one of the teens’ home, Megan briefly pulls over to look at Danny.

“Everyone... look to your left.”

“Hmm.  This must be the phenomenon that Commander Simms mentioned.  Megan, keep going.  I want everyone home and safe before I investigate.”

“Kelly, I’m actually interested in what that is.  What would a TV be doing functioning in an ally?  There’s no outlets to hook it up with.”

Megan looks at the brightened alley and opens the door, only to see Danny walking towards the ally, causing her to gasp.

“Lisa, go get your brother.”

Lisa promptly exits the minivan to chase after Danny.

Kelly looks up.

“I think I saw a camera over there in the alley.  Go over there and see what that phenomenon is.”

Suddenly, the leftmost passenger screams.

“What is it?!?” the other three ask.

“There goes Danny!”

And just like that, Megan, Kelly and the other two get out of the car.
