After the Winery

At the lakeshore, five teenagers are all breathing heavily; four of them are girls, and one of them is a boy.   The tallest of the girls pushes her hair into the back and sighs.

“Phew.  Boy, am I glad we’re reunited.”

“So, now what, Lisa?  Kelly’s still in the house.”

“She should be able to find us in a few.  Okay, Danny?”

Danny sighs.

“Alright.”

The most well-dressed of the girls walks in front of Lisa and Danny.

“So wait, you thought I was in the shower when you were sprucing yourself up?”

Lisa smiles.

“Heh.  How ‘bout that.  I can’t mistake you for an auger anymore, Megan...”

Suddenly, a new voice comes into hearing range.

“That’s correct, Lisa, because they’re all gone.  Come on, everybody.  I gotta get back to SCAT HQ in case there’s a second assignment for me and Control.”

And with that, Danny and the girls all walk over to the minivan and pile in, Megan piling into the driver’s seat while Kelly takes a camera from the driveway and puts it above Lisa’s seat to face her.  Finally, the car drives away from the now abandoned Lakeshore Winery.  Kelly pulls out a walkie talkie and presses on the transmitter, which sends a signal over to an officer at HQ.

“Officer Nick, this is Kelly.  Mission complete.”

Copy that.  Come back here alone so that we can tell you your next mission.

“Okay.  I’m on my way now.”

And with that, Kelly puts away the walkie talkie for the rest of the ride.

“Okay, Control.  It looks like I have another assignment to do.  Go to HQ quickly and find out what it is.  I’ll be over there right away... I think you might be missing some important information right about now.”

Suddenly, the minivan stops.

“Alright.  Let’s get in if you haven’t already.”

And with that, Kelly exits the minivan, using the back passenger door and heads to SCAT HQ.
