The Fall of Cloud

It's foggy outside, I'm standing before the restaurant Shoeshine said we'd meet out front of. I'm wearing a white collar with a red tie. "Here we go" I said walking up to the door, it was locked. "Hello" I yelled pounding on the door "hey, are you uhh Cloud Piercer?" Somepony said from behind me "uh yeah why?" I asked turning to see the stallion. "Follow me please" he said walking away "I kinda have a date in a minute" I said, he pinned me down in the middle of the road as more stallions surrounded me. "We hear you're one of them lab ponies, and you killed our employer Filthy Rich." The yellow stallion said still holding me down "so we figured we should make it so everypony knows that you're a science experiment." He said as a branding iron floated toward my flank, my body burned and I screamed. I threw the yellow unicorn off me and levitated the knife out of my saddlebag. My flank was bleeding, I stabbed the yellow unicorn in his side. The green Pegasus came charging at me, the knife went into his eye socket. He collapsed to the ground with a hearty thud, he had the emerald cutie mark. A blue and grey unicorn came at me, stabbing his horn into my leg. "You fucks I said I have a date" I said as the blue stallion towered over me, he was levitating a gun to my face. "I'm not sure how you can kill so many ponies but be so stupid enough as to talk when ya do it" he said, I heard the click of the trigger and rolled under him, hitting him with my hoof in his... lower region. He fell to the ground with a whimper, I pulled out my pistols and put two bullets in his head. The green and yellow ones got up, it was easy work since they were wounded. I pulled the knife out of the green ones eye and stabbed it into the yellow ones head. The green one started crying, I levitated the knife before his second eye and kicked it into it at full force with my forehoof. I lost that knife, I couldn't dig it back out of that poor stallions skull. He just kept screaming, I shot him right between his eyes. I dragged their lifeless bodies into an ally way and left them there. I needed to get washed of all this blood fast. I snuck around to the back of the restaurant were I washed myself in the kitchen sink. I peered through the door window and saw Shoeshine sitting at a table. I walked through the door "Hi Shoeshine" I said setting my bag by the table. "Well how do ya like that, I thought I was going to be stood up for a moment there" she said "so are ya hungry?" She asked "yeah I could eat a horse" I started laughing "well maybe later you can" she said eying me. I blushed "what's on your collar?" She asked, I looked down, there were three splotches of blood on my collar. "I-I got into some trouble" I said removing the collar "are you alright?" She asked sounding worried "oh yeah I'm fine" I said. "Oh my Celestia!" She yelled "you've got a cutie mark" she said pointing at my ass. Ponies stared at her as if she was a freak who never seen a cutie mark. I looked down, my flank was black "what is it?" I asked her, I couldn't make it out at first "it looks like an x and a crescent moon" she said. So that's what they meant by showing everypony I'm a experiment. It was the Harvest logo, I'm the only pony with a cutie mark on just one side of their ass. "I like it... but it's not on the other side" she said walking around me "yeah it's a brand not really a cutie mark" I said "was this involved in that fight you were talking about?" She asked "yes it is actually" I said as she sat down next to me "so... where'd you run off to earlier" she said "well my job is sorta to protect the good ponies from worse ponies." I said staring into her violet eyes "like a guard?" She asked "no nothing like that, I actually take care of the problems head on." I said "hello I'll be serving you tonight, what would you like for drinks" a unicorn came up to the table with a pad and pen floating in the air. "I'd like an Apple whiskey" I said hoping she wouldn't ask my age "and for you?" She said staring at Shoeshine "just cider please" she said. "All right I will be back with your drinks" the mare said walking away "what do you mean head on?" Shoeshine started back up "I mean... I take care of ponies, like the actual crooks, I have targets and locations and all that." I said "so you expect me to believe that you are a assassin?" She said "well it's the truth" I said "sure it is" she said rolling her eyes. I scowled at her "what?" She asked as I plopped my bag onto the table "take a look" I said "whys your bag torn?" She asked "I left a life behind" I said "I'm not sure if I want to look inside of this thing" she said "alright then, so how are you doing?" I asked "I'm doing alright aside from just learning I'm in the midst of an assassin" she emphasized assassin. The waiter came and brought us our drinks, I don't remember much after that aside from walking somewhere with Shoeshine. I woke up in a bed, my head was throbbing. This must've been Shoeshines house, or we broke into somepony's house, but she was next to me in the bed so I just had to assume we were at her house. I fell back asleep I awoke to Shoeshine speaking with simepony in the other room "I'm just not sure what to do I mean look at this stuff, he said he was a assassin but I didn't believe him." I heard her say "yeah well maybe it's a ploy to get with mares or something" I heard a voice say "well that's the thing Berry Punch I'm not sure it is, he didn't have a cutie mark, he had his burned into him before our date last night and he had blood on him." Shit now she knew and so did this Berry Punch. I walked out into the room rubbing my eyes with my forehoof "morning" I said sounding raspy. "Oh good morning Cloud" Shoeshine said "so you're this Cloud Piercer I've been hearing so much about" Berry Punch said walking around me. "Why's there blood on the inside of your leg?" She asked "what?" I asked "your foreleg has blood on it, or spaghetti" she stared up at me. "Like I said, assassin" Shoeshine said "I still find it hard to believe" Berry Punch said turning to Shoeshine. "Stab me" I said "what?" Berry Punch looked confused "I said stab me, there's a knife  in my bag on the counter over there" I said pointing a forehoof at my bag. "What will this prove?" She asked "I can't die, well I can but I'm a total badass when I do die" I said proudly "I'm not gonna fucking stab you are you insane?" She said "maybe I am" I said levitating the knife out of my bag "just watch" I said stabbing myself in the foreleg, Shoeshine threw up. "Oh my Celestia you're insane!" Berry Punch yelled "I said watch" I said pointing at my leg. It slowly healed before her eyes, she fell over and passed out. "Well now that that's cleared up" I said taking a seat at the table Shoeshine was at "I'm a bit lost as to what happened last night" I said as Shoeshine wiped her muzzle. "What do you think happened?" She said sarcastically "well aside from getting hammered, what happened." I chuckled "we came back to my place and we... well ya know" I feel like I've heard "well ya know" too many times.
